00:04Bikes just rolling up onto the grid behind us for BSB Race 3.
00:08We've had wins so far for Brad Ray and Kyle Ride.
00:11James, what are we expecting in this one?
00:14I think more of the same.
00:16I mean, Kyle Ride obviously looking good.
00:17He's on pole position this time,
00:19so he's not been anywhere near the front row so far this weekend,
00:23so that's slightly ominous.
00:24On the flip side of that, I think Brad's ridden brilliantly.
00:27You know, he's been getting off like a scolded cat, get off the start.
00:31So actually, if he can have a good start getting his rhythm,
00:34it's going to be interesting, Mum.
00:35He will need to do that, Danny, you would think,
00:38if he's going to have a chance of picking up and winning again like he did yesterday.
00:41Yeah, but do you know what I feel like Kyle did in that last race there,
00:45in the sprint race, was where Brad was really good,
00:48Kyle was managing those places really well,
00:50and he was just putting himself close enough to pass.
00:52And where, you know, we were talking off camera earlier about it,
00:55and it was like where Brad needs to be close enough to pass,
00:58he just can't quite get within those sort of like those one and a half to two attempts
01:01to make a move.
01:02All he can do is close back up on Kyle.
01:04So, yeah, I don't know.
01:05Maybe Shakey's had a bit of a game plan change up with him,
01:09and maybe he's going to come out and change up where he's going to overtake.
01:13But I think that's what's going to make Brad's life a little bit harder work.
01:16But, yeah, I mean, if Brad can get out front,
01:19even then Kyle's just got a little bit more punch off like Cascades
01:22and just puts himself in a different position to be able to get in front.
01:27I agree, actually.
01:28It's going to be a difficult one for Brad.
01:30There's one area of the track.
01:31He knows it.
01:31It's the area of the track we just saw there.
01:33Brad's really, really good down through Cascades,
01:36makes loads of times on the guys,
01:38you know, gets a great runoff there.
01:39But unfortunately, he's just not getting the punch along the avenue
01:42that he needs to defend himself into Island Bend.
01:45Island Bend's one of the most tricky passing places on the circuit.
01:48It's a brave place to pass.
01:51But unfortunately, it leaves him wide open for an overtake there.
01:55But, you know, he's got a plan.
01:57He knows what he wants to do.
01:58He wants to try and win this race.
02:00And, you know, you're not going to win the race thinking about it.
02:01The problem with plans is everybody else has got one too.
02:04And, you know, he's just going to get out there
02:05and give it his absolute all.
02:07And fingers crossed it'll be enough.
02:08What will Scott Redding's plan be then, James?
02:10He goes off the front row in this one.
02:12He was frustrated after race two.
02:14He had a disappointing day as well yesterday.
02:16A chance to redeem himself.
02:17Yeah, it's not been a great weekend for them.
02:20And actually, he's watching that championship lead just creep away.
02:23So I think this is a really big, big race for him.
02:26I think he'll have looked at the data.
02:28He's got to try and get away with them.
02:29That's the main thing.
02:31And he's got to try and take that fight to Kyle.
02:33I think we see Scott get stronger as the weekend goes on as well.
02:35This could be the best race of the weekend for Scott.

03:20It's not a brilliant weekend, but you've made progress.
03:23This bike looks like you can do a little bit more with it now.
03:25From the outside, anyway.
03:26I mean, we're not quite first on the grid,
03:28but we've got the first interview this time,
03:30so I'm pretty happy.
03:31That's a step forward.
03:33But, no, no, we've made a lot of progress,
03:36especially since the start of the year.
03:38Steve Day actually sent me quite a cool stat,
03:40and it was eight seconds faster than my race three
03:44in race one of the weekend.
03:46We made a step a little bit in the sprint race.
03:49Hopefully we can make another little step in this race.
03:52We've just got to try and find the performance,
03:54like the longevity of it now.
03:55We can get the lap time,
03:57but we just can't make it last as well as these other bikes.
04:01But we were in the fight.
04:03It's more enjoyable.
04:04I'm enjoying the bike.
04:05It's not doing anything silly now,
04:06and we're just fine-tuning it.
04:08And the good news is,
04:09because you're in the fight at the front,
04:11you can see where people have got what,
04:13and you can start to make changes
04:14that will make a difference now, I think.

04:16And you know what it was like at the start of the year
04:18with this, like, really bad vibration.
04:20Yeah, we saw it.
04:21Yeah, but we couldn't even do...

04:24We couldn't set up engine brake.
04:25We couldn't do fine-tuning,
04:27because we didn't know where it was.
04:29We were changing clutches,
04:31we were changing engine brakes,
04:32we were changing chassis,
04:33and we were like,
04:33it's the same.
04:34You know, so at least now,
04:36it's doing a relatively same thing every time.
04:39We're able to fine-tune it,
04:40and find a direction of where we can improve the bike.
04:43And we've done that.
04:46And, yeah, credit to the team,
04:47we've been working hard,
04:48and we're fifth on the grid now,
04:50let's go and get a good start,
04:51and have I go.
04:51Well, if you want my opinion,
04:53you've conducted yourself pretty well through it,
04:55easy to slip in,
04:56lose your head when it's not going the way you want,
04:58and you've ridden very well,
