00:00James it was absolutely stunning to come through like he did 14th row five and just you could see
00:06how much he wanted it the desire that was there the eagerness and he rode superbly he was lapping
00:13he had 2.8 seconds to go in the last few laps he took that off he made those moves and it was just
00:19simply stunning and it was just what he needed as well i think just a shot in the army needed
00:25definitely you know the good thing for me was that i said to him on the grid you know it's
00:30difficult this because everybody if this was fp1 would be going out they do a few laps they come
00:34back in they make some changes you know they complain that there was no rubber down you know
00:38nobody would have a great feeling on their bike but he won races here on that bike earlier this
00:43year and i said to him you know like you've won races before that bike's won races before
00:47everybody's going to be in the same boat just get out enjoy yourself have fun and look like he did
00:52it just that and actually real confidence for him to go into this final one because nobody else has
00:58really had dragged dry track time over the course of the weekend james but he's the one guy who knows
01:03he's got the pace right now yeah i mean they're all in the same boat as you say it was their first
01:07dry race first really dry lap so he'll take a lot of heart from that because it did look a bit like he'd
01:12lost his mojo somewhat but he really discovered it there and he grabbed it with both hands i just loved it
01:18yeah brilliant win for brad let's hear what he had to say after the race earlier this afternoon
01:24honestly um yeah i knew i had to i knew i had to get close to car and i need points back on the
01:29championship but i got to a point in a race there where i just thought i need to enjoy riding my bike
01:34and uh the feeling come back i relaxed um got through the pack quite nicely i saw a few laps i was
01:39catching catching leads and i thought do you know what i need to have a go at the winner um i've lost a lot
01:44of points to car recently um i'm not thinking about the championship now i just want to enjoy riding
01:49my bike and when when i do that the the results and the feelings come so uh yeah super happy for
01:54that the team deserve it and uh yeah probably one of my my best rides of my career it was absolutely
02:00stunning i mean wow congratulations cheers mate thank you yeah when he enjoys riding his bike
02:06particularly this bike the yamaha as well it's a special thing to see uh brad with his style with
02:11the strengths of that bike in full flow shape yep he uh he certainly exploited every uh every last
02:16bit of it didn't he in that race and uh it was great to see because it's really really easy when
02:20you're you know you're fighting for a championship it's a difficult time of the year you know weather
02:24conditions all weekend have been difficult not just for brad but for everybody and you know there's
02:28a lot there's a lot on the line for some riders and not so much on the line for others it makes it
02:32difficult but um you know it's motorbike racing you know it's it's the best job in the world when it's
02:38going well and it's it's a really difficult one when it's not but um you know he enjoyed it he
02:42made the most of it and did a did a wonderful job you know it lines up an absolutely fantastic race
02:47free for us in a minute yeah it does well carl wright's got a lot to lose at the minute but he's
02:50going the right way about it james it was damage limitation for him really in race two this afternoon
02:55fourth place that's really all he needs to do at the moment yeah exactly there's no point in risking
02:59anything he tried to hang on to brad it wasn't to be then but also he knows he's got that lead in
03:05the championship so he didn't have to risk too much and he's doing what he's doing you've got
03:09to remember brad's won twice as many races he's won 12 carl's won six so but actually it's his
03:15consistency that's been so important and that's what's really counted so once again he just grabs
03:20those points where he needs and uh yeah for him in the championship that was all okay okay well we've
03:26been treated to uh an absolute crack cracker this afternoon we had to wait a while for it but we're
03:31ready to go now as you can see the grid is formed ahead of uh a race three here so let's get out
03:36and join with cheers boys i will get to the front of the grid but i want to have a quick word with
03:40this fella this is uh charlie has been back on roll three had a reasonable weekend seventh in the
03:45previous race uh charlie challenging weekend for all the riders all the teams for everybody concerned
03:50weather won't make its mind of what it's doing it looks a little bit dry but you wouldn't put a shower
03:54out of the question now would you no no to be fair i think with the way that this weekend's gone
03:59it's going to be a 50 50 no matter what it does um but yeah i'm hoping for another dry race you know
04:05i think we had pretty decent pace in the first one so here we can only build and i think we've improved
04:10the setting a little bit so yeah see what we can do i can only admire your calmness you're one of
04:14the younger riders on the grid but you still don't seem to get flustered or much do you no not really
04:19i mean i've been in the bsb paddock now since what 2014 something like that so i understand the game
04:25and everything else so it's not new to me so hello charlie cheers thank you right we're going forward
04:31now because i want a word with uh leon haslam leon is in the middle of the second row we've seen him
04:38have a couple of second places now a couple of podiums in a weekend with one race that goes normally
04:43pretty good but actually you've kind of been mugged every time and i'm sure you're thinking you should
04:49have at least one win out of the weekend it's like the opposite of me as well in it getting mugged on
04:54the last lap but uh yeah no led the lap and kind of left it open a few times um yeah it was one of
04:59those i think bad was coming anyway um was battling a few little issues kind of balancing it from the
05:04front again uh so yeah fair play to him and uh made a few changes for this one so hopefully we can go
05:08over the two yams still not a bad weekend son well done thank you and good luck cheers right from
05:14row here we go i think we've got about three minutes left so uh right inside of the front row another
05:19man who's had a really good weekend well in the top six both races is storm stacy quite impressed
05:26with him always got something to say normally he gives me a little bit of a tune-up about something
05:31i've said wrong or anyway we'll see what he's got to say you're having a good weekend storm yeah i've got
05:36a bone to pick with you i'm joking i don't like your bones you could come and see me privately and give
05:41me the bone but yeah good weekend mate yeah good weekend so far i was hoping to have a good weekend
05:47at all and um wet or dry enjoying riding around here hope it stays dry now good base settings from
05:54that first race there to go into the race the bike's a lot different to what we're on here and earlier
05:58in the year just looking forward to get stuck in here still a second off what we were doing here
06:03earlier in the year yeah but you've had no dry track time with these conditions have you these exact
06:06conditions this weekend they sound like excuses jamie well it is an excuse really i've got to book them if
06:12you want it yeah but we've got to be on it haven't we got to be on the ball british championship i know
06:16good luck so thank you yes i had a weekend storm again one of the younger riders middle of the front
06:21row uh kyle ryde now this is one of the main men battling for the championship as you all know kyle
06:27not a lot he could do uh that last time out finished fourth but still it's a championship kind of
06:32running weekend for you i know you're not gonna be too disappointed with what's going on so far this
06:37weekend no obviously come in the weekend 31 it's now 36 um gotta work hard to keep it at that brad
06:42road really well in that last race so you take your hat off to him um just for me obviously leading that
06:47race that was wet earlier by a long chunk it was a bit annoying but it is what it is that's bike racing
06:52and uh everyone blows up every night again yeah and again we were we were in comp saying you just
06:56done everything right you got to front it mattered you got the the best of conditions you could stay at
07:01the dryer track you chose the right tyres it was all looking good wasn't it yes and that's just
07:05unfortunate but uh i feel like as a team and myself we've done everything right this weekend
07:09just been a bit unfortunate with that last race but at the same time you have to set your hat off
07:12to someone that rides really well coming from 14th that doesn't happen very often so uh reset and go
07:17again mate you haven't dropped the ball or the team haven't dropped the ball any time this year so good
07:22luck to you this time thanks james cheers mate uh right and now uh the boys have said it i know that uh brad
07:28was chatting with james aiden earlier on and he said everything i wanted to say actually but i'm going to say it
07:33again uh you know i'm going to say that was one of the most impressive races not only did you have to
07:39go quick but you have to get everything right you had one goal getting past both riders you couldn't
07:44have waited to get past christian uh sorry uh you you got past christian anyway out to do you couldn't
07:48wait to get past leon because leon had the pace down at last corner and you wouldn't have been close
07:52enough yeah that's it um i wasn't expecting to catch them like i did uh when i got into the the last lap
07:58i thought i've come this far i need to to make passes um past it and then uh thought the only
08:04place that i can pass has them was into there and try and get a run to through druids and into the
08:09last corner but yeah just uh just gave it my all what was the setting of the bike like because
08:13different conditions so when you came earlier in the year and was so uh quick but you've had no
08:16dry tag time this weekend yeah no something something pretty much like a base that we we run everywhere
08:21and um yeah felt felt okay uh obviously longer race now so we'll see what we can do here uh well
08:27done and good luck mate cheers mate and that's it uh the championship is well and truly back on
08:33and that last race was the most spectacular run in the last four or five laps uh that i've seen for a
08:39long long time and i think this one's going to be a belt of the tracks dry bit threatening and cold
08:44but it's going to stay dry i think
08:46thanks james yes it's been a wet and wild weekend so far here at alton park it's been
08:53topsy-turvy in terms of the weather and the championship but right now we have a dry race
08:57ahead and the championship one two one two on the grid head to head in race three
09:01the final race of the weekend at alton park the penultimate round of bsb 2025 we know it's rumbling
09:20on to the finale at brands we knew that from the very first round really didn't we it's ride versus
09:27ray and after that incredible performance from brad earlier on this afternoon the championship has
09:34come down a bit it's still kyle ryde in control no matter what happens here you would think he leaves
09:40alton park with a championship lead but by how many it's down to 36 after that leon haslam is third
09:46mathematically speaking could still have a long shot you have to finish ahead of kyle in this race
09:52to have any shout at all going into brands in a few weeks time the battle for third looks like it
09:57might be close to being sewn up there by leon of course we know roy skinner's not here danny kent
10:03likewise but uh who knows this is how they line up on the grid the two main men are one and two on
10:09the grid with storm stacy in the mix as well bridewell haslam hidden a strong row two ahead of
10:14reading nesbitt and mcconnell expect reading to potentially play a part in this as well remember he
10:20had to do all his work from the back of the grid uh this morning dry race it looks like there are some
10:27threatening clouds overhead this is an 18 lap race so we are entering the unknown again uh yes we are
10:32very little dry time for all these riders they basically guessing on setup most of them going for
10:38a setup you know from when they were here for round one uh but conditions different uh track temperature
10:43a little bit lower and a bit windier so we'll see i heard you chat with storm on the grid can you all
10:47just keep your bones to yourself yeah i realize what i've said there
10:53i want to retract that statement i don't think he got it so they line up on the grid an amazing ride
11:00from brad ray can he claw back a few more points here or does kyle ride come back we've seen it
11:05before from him it's interesting to see what i'm interested to see what kyle's going to do here
11:09because i've got a feeling that uh brad's going to try and ball is definitely at the pace half a second
11:14quicker than anybody else in similar conditions previously today so uh we'll see we will kyle
11:20wright came into this weekend 31 points up on brad and if you'd have asked him at the start of the
11:24weekend would you be happy with that leaving into brands yes it would yes please but let's see what
11:31we've got in store it really does deliver british super pikes will it stay dry hope so green flag waves at
11:38the back we are good to go 18 laps in cheshire coming up lights out great start from brad ray he's so
11:47good at starts and he will lead into turn one ahead of champion kyle wright storm station third it's
11:54haslam fourth idan it looks like just up to fifth and then tommy bride what i think just being passed
11:59there for sixth spot by scott redding that's exactly exactly what we wanted uh the championship
12:06protagonist out of the front i'll tell you what i don't know whether brad ray's ever tried uh drag
12:09racing but he would make a good drag racer almost two in one there for haslam number 91 who's been
12:18mugged quite frankly the last two races here at alton park yep bit disappointed but they're again really
12:24quite pleased to be on the podium uh twice no one scored more points than me on has them in the last
12:29couple of rounds no they haven't no ice point he's got an awesome through britain as we go
12:37looked to be sat on the bike as well didn't it yeah kyle wright then attacking immediately
12:42on car and brad wright but can't get through but into his ease that was deep there from brad he left
12:47it very late to break haslam is opted to third ahead of storm stacy yeah i'm sure the riders will have
12:54gone from a base setting maybe made a few tweaks you don't go too far uh because she as i said
12:59conditions are different grip levels are different to when we were here in april there is an argument
13:04for saying that kyle wright could quite happily just sit behind exactly that yeah but in recent times
13:09kyle's made a different stuff yeah but he's still got that championship mentality i think
13:15it's a large corner to complete that one then it is brad ray that leads on the raceways yamaha
13:19ahead of kyle wright look at that shot the barrier warping oh and here is kyle i love the insider brad
13:26ray into old hall to take the lead leon haslam very close up behind them as well yeah they've got
13:34leon to worry about because leon should have a little bit of a quicker bite down the straight might make
13:38it slightly easier for leon to make a pass and that might just oh here he comes he's gonna go through on
13:45both of them potentially oh and brad ray now goes up inside into ireland and now coming back trying to
13:52find another way through is kyle it's you know it's strange these two have been fighting for the
13:56championship all season long but haven't actually fought each other on circuit exactly they've not
14:00had a real big go each other on track have they it's a britain's then it's the two yamahas and the
14:05motor rapido to katie of leon hasler yeah that's confidence going into island bend make a pass there
14:10there's a big roller that these super bikes still have enough acceleration to wheelie over that's
14:16such a difficult place to pass as usual kyle just taking his time doesn't want to make any rash moves
14:22yeah brad ray is leaving it so late to break to not allow kyle through he's just about making the
14:28chicane yep you can't defend this early in the race anyway otherwise you cast yourself and your rival
14:33time and everybody else catches you kyle is properly trying to nipping away here yep he's putting as much
14:38pressure on brad ray as possible he saw the speed that brad had earlier on in that tremendous race
14:45and stay as they are for now down into lodge the leading three to give a gap back to idan and
14:50reading and stacy there's charlie nesbitt as well last lap car ride went through into turn one is it
14:56going to be the same again not this time i'm just wondering if kyle's thinking that brad given a couple
15:02of laps on his own at the front does have the pace to get away and it was just gonna maybe rough him up a
15:07little bit it's not tactics that we used to seeing from kyle but i just wonder if that is
15:12if that's what he's thinking foot off the peg there for kyle yeah if he does that a lot was
15:16we're startled about it at first but he does that but he has both legs off going into some corners
15:21yeah there exactly i mean it looks frightening from our end but it is something that he's used
15:28to doing is obviously not holding him back in any way no what we have seen from brad at the start of
15:33the season and let's assume brad's got all that confidence back is when he does hit his lines and
15:37he is out front and he maybe gets more than half a second he's at his best he is absolutely at
15:43his best we've seen him probably his worst when he gets mired down in traffic particularly people
15:47he's not used to being around uh but actually he made short work of everybody in that previous race
15:52today it was brilliant which is why kyle riding second is trying to make him work for it that's and
15:57that's i think what kyle's doing and i think if he has a if he gets closer you know but i think
16:01probably now it'll take a mistake from brad to to have that happen i think uh kyle will be keen to
16:06get past again just to try and knock him out of his rhythm a little bit this is going to be the
16:10fastest lap of the race from brad ray yes absolutely yep around truids now down the hill towards lodge
16:17corner kyle not close enough here he's just got to try and stay close for as long as possible
16:22scott reading now sorry james has just gone through be interesting to see what speed scott's got
16:27now he's got some clear air yep absolutely and a dry track over the line for brad ray a 34.2
16:33yeah that's the slap of the race 10th of a second quicker than kyle who is digging deep here he is
16:39digging to hang on and he kind of needs to do but he's going to do it in a way that's not going to
16:44end it it cannot afford to slide off neither of them can at this stage in the championship this has
16:49been a good first sector though from kyle right yes he has strike back on him yeah he does yeah and you
16:54think back to when he needed to do it last round last year against tommy pridewell god kyle right
17:00dug deep and we didn't think he had it in him no he found something didn't he yep from the magic hat
17:05a little bit wide from brad ray going into shell oils there yeah but that'll keep kyle interested
17:11yeah now this is where kyle coming out of britain's has just had slightly better drive
17:17yeah right so druggles to get the front wheel down yeah that starts going into uh britain's though
17:23because he just has a lovely line that gives him a good run out and a little bit of a straighter exit
17:28but brad really stable on the brakes yes down into his which is going to make it difficult for counter
17:32to close there remember remember cadwell park they didn't make contact and kyle here this is a
17:41really strong lap and also leon has i'm just going to say lane have something and leon's got the speed
17:46down the street this might be a spanner in the works here yeah and leon wants a bit of payback let's
17:51not forget yeah he's desperate for a win now been mugged twice through lodge corner then on lap four of
18:00eighteen we're about to start lap five brad ray not able to shake off ride and haslam and will
18:07ride now have a look into turn one no fastest lap of the race now leon has them a 34.197 for the number 91
18:1611-time winner here at alton park leon haslam his first coming 20 years ago
18:22yeah i was a 22 year old i think 20 just yeah yeah 21 22 yeah this is where branch is so fast
18:32into there he's brother that's such a a difficult bit of track you've got to be so confident in the
18:37front end going in there this time not wide into shell oil but now it seems on the approach to britain's
18:45this is where coil eats up it starts to pick up again yeah yeah good line out from kyle isn't it
18:55over the hilltop for kyle rise still putting pressure on brad but again stable on under
19:01breaking for the number 28 yeah moves out to one side not because he's gonna have a go every time but
19:06if anything happened to brad uh on the briefing break till you don't want to run in the back of
19:10somebody when you're that close you will always give him a bit of room going in close now yeah
19:16climbing up through clay hill this is where kyle closes up again yeah into druids glorious bit of
19:21track that up clay hill the bike just floats you've got no weight on the front end the back trying to
19:26wheeling not a lot of weight on the back end you don't get that feeling many times on a superbike
19:30and in the circuit certainly world champion circuits you don't get anything like this out of lodge then
19:36up and over dearly and across the line this could be a fastest lap of the race now from kyle rise
19:40number one on the nitrous competition jamaha so 34.6 nothing really splitting them no there isn't
19:47reading slightly quicker though than the three ahead of him on that last lap in fourth
19:52yeah there he is remember this is a longer feature race 18 laps
19:59still plenty of time for scott to get in on the action such a difficult circuit to get right as up
20:06park lots of elevation changes lots of surface changes and also uh the track's just different
20:13in every single corner different camber levels and it's just difficult to get that but when you do get
20:19it half right beautiful it is a challenge very very much a challenge yeah
20:26reading again and that first sector another tenth taken out of leon hasard let's see if kyle rye can get up
20:33and level with brad ray this time no and just i'll tell you what there's people catching him here yeah
20:38he's trying to force a mistake on brad ray but yeah so ready but hidden stacy bridewell
20:45nesby all putting their fastest laps of the race and they're not too far behind brad may be going about
20:51half a second slower than he was and his incredible performance earlier is he just managing things here is
20:56he backing things up is he trying to invite a few people more people to the party to maybe
21:01get involved with kyle he's clever enough to do it and if he can get if he can win and get a couple
21:05of people in between himself and kyle well all the better around lodge corner to start another one
21:12you give a lot you know thinking about that during the race when you've got everything else
21:16around a challenging circuit like this that's a you've a lot to think about already but he's in the low 135s
21:23yeah which which we can slow he's capable of more we know that so maybe but you don't want to back it
21:29up too much because then you can get exactly in the trouble you make reading now is really with them
21:36and leon has them's got good drive out of cascades and now this goes through on kyle ryden is up into
21:41second place yeah leon knows how to use the power of that nakate what brad does want to do is james just
21:48alluded to there is allow someone like leon to them get through on it yeah interesting stuff
21:55that grouped in fifth catching yes and stacy and bridewell yep
22:02yeah they are nice bit of cook are involved in that as well as yep glenn erwin just on the back of
22:08them fastest man on track last lap was reading is right on the back of uh car ride now stacy there
22:16through on christian hidden to move up into fifth place been a good weekend for storm two fifth places
22:20so far yeah brilliant weekend for the youngster that's things down kyle ride brad ray 31 points
22:25would be the difference heading into brands and leon would just be hanging on with 105 points available
22:33around druids a big roller when you're going out of druids the bikes lent over there's no weight on
22:37the rear as you go over that big big compression big roll and then into the compression and that's
22:42when the bike steps out so now reading very much involved in this leading battle as we start lap
22:51here comes leon can i get it stopped he's through he's through and it was a 135.5 i really believe brad
22:59has just been backing them up a bit here well he's got you that's a risky strategy that is we'll know
23:04because if he's able here to get straight back to get straight back past yes i agree let's see how
23:10he gets on because this is where brad ray is so so strong leon has them now then leads on the motor
23:14rapido to catty ray can't get through there now because leon's got a little bit of lift on that
23:19to kind down that straight into ireland through shell oil this is intriguing in the background stacy and co
23:28are closing into britain's
23:36it is a risky game to play the danger man here at storm stacy in fifth because if he gets involved
23:43he's got the power to do it here comes kyle through is he gonna get that stopped just about
23:50great move and if it is the strategy from brad ray this is the danger right there
23:54so plan a there not working out for brad and storm station you're right james
23:59it's closed up there on the bathams ajn bmw yep he's looking very good but i'll remind you these
24:07guys are lapping 1.5 seconds slower than we know yeah well if brad's gonna bite back he's gonna do
24:13it pretty quick because otherwise he's gonna be in a big load of bother from behind
24:17of course what we don't know over 18 laps in the dry is what we're going to face tire likewise
24:25yeah low track temperatures as well cold air cold air yeah you would think that might be an issue
24:31towards the end depending on how you manage fruto one one i was not bothered about conserving the
24:37tires it is storm stacy mr storm stacy he likes he does not care you can see the four teams there just
24:46on the left of yeah and there he goes look sliding it our cascades thinking about the move again on
24:53pile into island bed is he going to have a look up the inside maybe into shell oil good lap last
24:58lap from chris he didn't he's not too far behind storm stacy now remember storm not had a podium this
25:05year he'll throw the kitchen sink at this yeah storm's best rides have definitely been in the
25:12way he's won rounds uh exceptionally good in the way he won snetterton last year however uh he can
25:17ride in the dry as well you got one and a half seconds covering the top nine riders there's kyle ride
25:23pokes his nose through to lead this one that's his signature pass and it is so it's so clean
25:30many times you pass somebody into there and you run a little bit deep but manage to hold everybody up
25:35and keep the position but yeah that's clean now brad ray might get a bit impatient he needs to get
25:40through on leon hasland the last thing he wants is to see kyle bolting off into the distance and
25:46maybe the pace might be upped again shortly brad ray looking for that inside line to go through
25:50only on haslam but not on this occasion christian hidden there shaping up a move on storm stacy the
25:57rider number 21 on the line green ajn steel stock kawasaki yeah that's going to be difficult for christian
26:02hidden because the when our fast stomps this is uh ajn batham's uh bmw actually is it's a quick bike
26:12almost on the grass there storm
26:15downhill and into cascade six fruity wide line down it cascades from storm
26:21every line from storms yeah yeah yeah true yeah yeah in twilight bend then on lap 10 comes leon did
26:27he make a pass on kyle yes he's through right well kyle ride now coming under attack isn't he from
26:37championship rival right yep redding's been there in four
26:43he's just quite happy to sit back and watch how this one unfolds they are properly bunching up now
26:49this top nine
26:53yeah and this is so dangerous for a position to be in for
26:56here comes kyle up the inside signature move when they get it stopped yeah perfect move
27:00and it needs to keep doing this because if you're not got here comes brad oh we just missed that one
27:06it's freezing through and do you know this is a perfect situation where if you do not keep moving
27:11forward you are definitely going to get moved back by somebody right right there maybe just sense that
27:17kyle he's got to go with it get away he has no choice but to go with kyle right yeah he can't
27:22afford to lose any not at all we'll see what lap times are like if kyle gets a lot of two on his own
27:28we're about to start lap 11 of 18 four races left in the championship it's kyle ride leading
27:39from bradley ray leon haslam in third scott redding in four they are still laughing a good 1.3 1.4
27:46seconds slower than we know they can go storm stacy again that wide sweeping line yeah this fanning out
27:55down into his lock chicane the move from kyle ride up the inside we've seen him do it on many people
28:01and look watch watch brad ray drops it deep yeah oh and bradley ray's now gone through on kyle ride
28:08was that into island bend i suspect maybe it was because he's shown his pace in there hasn't he
28:14will kyle sorry will brad now be thinking i've got to go if it was his plan to begin with it's failed
28:20it's failed and he'll be like i'm not sure i like that yeah that's it yep under kyle into
28:25island like we thought he's been quick there before this is where kyle's quick is he close
28:30enough to nice no not this time yeah brad might just think okay i've got to go now yeah i think
28:37we're going to see what brad's got because if that was a plan we're going to see from uh the lap times if
28:43they drop now uh it's failed uh the plan to get other people involved i mean it makes sense but
28:50you've got to have some flipping thought process to race a motorbike at this pace and still think
28:55about all that especially around here yeah down this short back straight and the approach to lodge corner
29:02brad ray put together a good couple of sectors he was very late on the brakes down he was there
29:07yeah he was back end losing a little bit traction there he looks quick now though yeah over the line
29:14the 30s dipped into the 34s there yeah and half a second quicker pretty much absolute quicker than
29:19anybody else so ray leads now from ride and then the train can they hold on if the pace is upped yeah
29:26this is the key lap for brad ray if he's got anything left in his pocket we're going to see it this lap i'm
29:32sure leon haslam there up alongside kyle right now and using the speed of that motor repeater to
29:37captain to go up into second place yeah scott redding is he there to parents as well on kyle yeah now
29:44it's kyle riders got to be careful if uh if brad ray is checking out then kyle can't afford to get
29:50dragged back into this uh pain pack of about eight right yeah that's absolutely right kyle here is going
29:55to need maybe that signature move you just mentioned james he's got to keep going forward he's got uh scott
30:01reading on the guy behind him that'll be sharp enough down the street to make a pass
30:06he's not close enough to go through on haslam here brad ray was just a fraction quicker than this lot
30:14through sectors one and two as it stands 31 would be the gap that's what we came into the weekend yes
30:20yeah so you would still say that's very much advantage kyle rye going into brands yeah but it
30:25gives it could have been worth it brad the confidence is running now with brad i think
30:33and as the pace has been up to one or two now just struggling to live with it there's still a big
30:38pack though that you don't really want to get involved in if you carry a ride over the line there for
30:45brad ray he leads from haslam 34 9 again but 34 6 from haslam and he leads going through at turn one
30:54that was a big lap there and it might be a comeback on here yeah well actually leon knew there was a
31:00cutback he knew he lost a little bit of time he went in a bit hot got the position lost a bit of time
31:04coming out but defended really well one thing that is nice to see and reading through on kyle rye oh
31:11it's another place lost kyle's not completely willing to let him through and storm stacy's
31:18hungry there as well he's waiting and he's gonna have a look exactly this is what you this is what
31:23i'm saying if you're not going forward in this kind of company you're going backwards kyle then losing
31:29precious points here as it stands however haslam it is that leads toby bridewell now in this party
31:35and glenn irwin how nice is that to see on the nitrous competition's yamaha yeah the danger's not over
31:40for kyle rye here storm says a difficult man to pass as is scott reddin because they've got sharp bikes
31:5110 riders here yeah in your shop all trying to get themselves on that podium 10 riders at two-thirds
31:58distance brilliant it's leon haslam who you have to say deserves a win here this weekend i'm not gonna
32:07see i know he thinks that most of us do but he ain't got there yet no he hasn't right right a bit
32:14out of shape there on the approach to lodge danger man here is scott ready i'm gonna say
32:20stop stacy there's a very little i don't even know why we said that should we just say danger
32:26men yeah all of them look at stop stacy's sliding it into old all corner
32:33using all of the circuit there as well taking again that an orthodox line he's he's varying his line
32:42he's normally wide into cascades then he was up the inside of scott ready it's got reading here might
32:46just get on terms with brad right i'm thinking that he's got the pace to do it with the bike as well
32:52way way wide but scott ready yeah and as we said it was trouble for kyle brad cannot really afford to
32:58jump another place here he no he can't and that i need he's not safe there scott ready he's got
33:05probably got the pace down the straight with that to make a move somewhere it's been a pack of hyenas
33:10in it yeah bang over the hilltop at alton park on the approach now to his ease bradley ray cannot
33:18find his way through scott reading just about manages to scrub off speed downhill into his ease
33:24he's in third ahead of storm stacy kyle ryan championship leader at the moment fifth ahead of
33:28his good friend christian idon right watch for scott reading trying to set something up around druids
33:34and then down in a lodge
33:38storm time there's a storm coming yeah
33:47scott reading on the inside of bradley ray brad knew it was coming as well
33:52and christian idon has just gone through on kyle ride
33:56glenn erwin now is on terms with his teammate yeah the best we've seen of glenn on the yamaha
34:02yes it's haslam reading ray i don't know where to look yeah watch storm stacy because he's
34:08glenn bit wild out of uh old hall
34:14and the speed now of that bmw could just be a bit of a difference here let's have a look
34:21no not this time we're now quick brad is in tile and bent we're coming to the closing stages of
34:28this one scott reading has worked his way through to try and contend for the lead now it's haslam that
34:35leads from reading brad ray in third stacy hungry busy on the bmw in fourth then idon then ride
34:44just seems like out of corners at the moment those ducati's are just hooking it up a bit better
34:53yeah yeah here comes brad ray as well he was coming through but he's reading that leads that's deep
34:58and kyle ryder's got back through on christian iddon as well and that's one of his best mates
35:06scott reading then but all this is costing kyle time you know
35:10lapping in the late 135s yep they're not quick times but there's a reason for that they're all
35:15lapping the same so it's either a grip thing or they haven't a lot a lot of setup time no true
35:20very true no dry practice time at all this weekend storm stacy now at the inside of bradley ray
35:27so storm potentially now on for his first podium of 2020 yeah more importantly puts kyle at the
35:34back of his champ right behind his championship rival look
35:41they won't care about anybody else if they're together brad ray is he just running into some
35:46issues here with grip his pace has dropped yep significantly the rider in fourth and this will
35:52be music to the ears of kyle ryde in fifth brad now trying to get alongside storm stacy into island
35:59bend and that is a nice move yeah it's a nice move with a bike that just hasn't got the pet of the
36:05bmw down that little bit of a straight so good move it's a shell oil
36:09redding on this lap just able now to try and stretch his legs on the hager pbm to katie you've
36:18got to feel a little bit sorry for leon aswell if it ends like this because i'm in great meeting but
36:25we'll be disappointed not getting a win although he will have that really really long shot of the
36:31championship still going in advance yes he will yeah yeah 105 points available at brand and i think he's
36:36105 points off the lead now so all he has to do i say i'm saying all he has to do got to finish in
36:42front of kyle and then he's got a long long distance shot at brands like you said glenn owen's still part
36:50of this group in the seventh just behind christian idon doing a really good job and it's cook
36:56bridewell and nesbit we're about to start the penultimate lap of this feature race brad ray doing
37:03everything he can to keep storm stacy at bay can he close the gap down to redding and hasland
37:10over the line into the late 34s there for scott redding out front
37:17good run through old hall for storm stacy yeah and he's gonna get through
37:23no but he's now gonna have a nice sweeping line into cascades yeah but we all know how quick
37:29brad ray is into island bend yeah you wouldn't expect anybody to get past no matter how quick
37:37the bikers get past brad there haslam still in contention in second is he biding his time and
37:44leaving it to the last lap he's been mugged on the last lap twice this weekend maybe it's his turn
37:49to do the mugging
37:57he's the two men in the championship brad ray third kyle ryde fifth
38:07they're all just settling for now but is it going to go off
38:10on the final lap brad there maybe just a bit closer to leon haslam yeah yeah and i think from what i'm
38:16seeing maybe storm's just having a few rear grip issues but it's moving around a lot but you don't
38:22know i mean it moves around a lot anyway yeah i mean that would be the tale of his season wouldn't
38:26it as well yeah he does be so so hard yeah 32 would be the gap as it stands leon haslam would be 99
38:32adrift leon haslam here is this a rehearsal for the final lap which is coming up bradley ray is a lot
38:37closer to the pair though ready to pick up the pieces should it go wrong over the elite to start the
38:43final lap of the race here at alton storm stacy attacking brad ray on the approach to old hall
38:48but can't get through kyle ryde there looks like fifth at best for the defending champion
38:53degree and and that best and that's not over yet leon haslam who's been robbed of victory in two
39:00races this weekend at alton looking to be the man that rob spreading of glory not safe faith for
39:06kyle ryde this now he's got two karasaki's up right behind him yeah
39:13will haslam have a fight here is haslam leaving it until lodge can brad ray get himself close enough
39:20to have a look brad ray one of his favorite moves remember is into his he's on the exit
39:24kind of on the approach to nicker brook that cut back yeah the problem has them got is they should be
39:29be exactly the same in terms of face down the street his and scott ready's bike there is kyle as
39:35we said fifth at best for him it's reading that leads from haslam ray and storm stacy let's not
39:40forget looking for his first podium of the season brad ray there was he just shaping up one of his
39:45favorite moves i don't think he's gonna make that one stick no i think all he's gonna get is fifth
39:53leon haslam now he's got closer to scott redding in pursuit of victory he's taken a nice line through
39:59druids this gives him the opportunity he's already into the wheel tracks of scott redding brad ray is
40:05there as well defensive from scott redding haslam will he have a look no he won't he's going to take
40:11a sweeping line and try and run into the line defending for his life is kyle ryde scott redding
40:16wins what happened to haslam he's got it wrong brad ray takes second storm stacy just about gets fourth
40:22oh yes kyle ryde just stay in fifth place goodness me an important second for brad yes what happened to
40:31leon into the final corner scott redding victorious here in the hager pbm to katie but haslam i think
40:39went wide down into large and yeah he did yeah and that could be really really important for the
40:45championship great right from scott redding
40:52now here we go this out of druids over the rollers down into lodge
40:58redding defends he's got just gone really really wide hasn't he has he gone wide or has he had to go
41:04wide to avoid hitting into me i mean it all started off because he was so close to uh yeah
41:08yeah that was a mistake probably i think he had to back out of a move we were trying on ready ready
41:15ready defended really really well down there near the lodge fair play to scott redding yes when you
41:20think what happened at the start of the weekend it all went wrong yeah and he's worked hard to take
41:26himself back up onto the top step a win at donington a couple of wins in aston and another one here
41:31he will be in town next year in terms of fighting for the championship yeah i agree yeah uh that
41:37second for brad ray with kyle ride fifth means it's a six point uh chunk he's taken out that means it
41:44will be 30 in it just about as same as we came into the weekend i think one point different 35 available
41:51of course uh in each race at brands which means that it's going to not just brand hatch but to the
41:58final day yes it does yeah good weekend for leon haslam even though he'll be disappointed he'll be
42:06really disappointed with leon
42:11but leon also will have a sniff an outside sniff miracles would need to happen
42:19vote for your rider of the round now that will be a tough one to call
42:23the celebrations begin for scott redding he's happy with that do you think
42:29he's such an entertainer and uh he will be finding the fans who've stuck around
42:36through thick and thin yeah yeah fair play to them
42:42all right visor shut but you know what again i'll repeat it james at the start of the weekend
42:48if someone has said you'll only lose a point all weekend entertaining either taking it yeah
42:53i think you would but yeah but there is a momentum shift maybe in terms of the confidence of brad and
42:59pace yeah a quick shout out because we're not going to see him in park ferme to storm stacy two fifths
43:06and a four brilliant really good weekend yeah so congrats to him scott redding though
43:18he's been his name in the mix here to finish in the top five in the championship despite this
43:23in the opening three rounds
43:28here what leon made of that shortly it didn't look too disappointed all right yeah
43:34yeah that's the look of job done there from home park yeah i think and it could have been a lot worse
43:40the conditions that have been thrown around this weekend anything could have happened after
43:44yesterday that's a proper salvage job and that race earlier was incredible i agree
43:48you can hear this bike coming from quite a while in v4 it's loud it sounds angry yeah yeah
44:00it does sound angry yeah
44:07let's get results and standings in then here at alton park and credit where it's due to the organizers
44:12for getting all this in scott redding scott redding wins here at alton ahead of bradley ray haslam third
44:19stacy for kyle ryde the best he could manage there was fifth ahead of erwin idan hook bridewell and nesbitt
44:26but only 3.7 seconds covering that top 10 after 18 laps points went to lee jackson josh brooks the two
44:34teammates there in 11th and 12th rogers was 13th mcconnell 14th and dean harrison good job a point for dino
44:4115th 15th and this is how it looks then as we head into the showdown finale 30 in it between ryde and
44:50ray it will all come down to the final day leon has them 101 down with 101 available 105 available
44:57that's more than a mountain to climb christian idden has moved up to fourth in the championship
45:02ahead of tommy bridewell rory skinner of course no racing for him this weekend and look at scott
45:06there still in with a shout of a top five final page storm stacy there inside the top 10 josh brooks
45:14a winner yesterday 11th in the standings ahead of nesbit andy irwin glenn irwin and fraser rogers
45:27leon has and what a performance in there right in the mix look you're gonna look at the last corner
45:31but then it all went a little bit wrong what happened yeah i was lining him up um it was really
45:35strong on brakes but i thought i've got to have a go into the last turn and as soon as i made the
45:38first back shift it jumped out of gear so i quickly shifted to the left so i didn't collect him um i
45:43managed to knock it in and it went sideways but obviously then let brad flew and also nearly storm
45:48so i nearly lost the podium but uh yeah the battle was good just strong a little bit on brakes that was
45:52it uh but yeah if only the two dry sessions i'll take it yeah it was a fantastic performance well done leon
45:57cheers thank you right in second place then just wandering in he's just getting his hat on bradley
46:01ray brad what a race looked like you can try and bolt in the beginning that didn't quite work um
46:0720 odd laps here here you are second place how you feeling yeah good um yeah my plan was to try and
46:11bolt at the start um a new car would would try and get past me and back me up so at one point i sort of
46:18slowed the pace up i could see the group getting bigger and bigger tried to attack again and uh
46:22couldn't get away so so at that point you have to uh you have to have a dog fight and uh try and do
46:27the best i lost a bit towards the end maybe when we uh when we slowed down a bit the the cold tear
46:31come so i lost a little bit of edge grip but uh yeah tried to dig in at the end and get as many
46:36points as possible i really enjoyed that race enjoyed the race earlier and uh super happy for
46:41for the team for everyone around me and uh it's nice to have this feeling again fantastic performance
46:46almost and upwards of brands actually is mate thank you right on your race two or race three winner here
46:50he is standing looking at me shaking his head like you can't even believe that it's him that's
46:53done it scott reddin you just won that race there race three what a performance tell me how you're
46:58feeling i feel like i might have fell asleep during that long delay and i'm still asleep i'm not quite
47:04sure like i'm putting the number one up and i'm like am i sure i was back at the grid this morning
47:10got up to seventh closed the gap fought my way through no set up we're doing set up on the sighting
47:15laps um i don't know that was just scott reddin feeling good i got it between my teeth i thought
47:20i got a finish on a high i'm speechless man like it doesn't get much higher than p1 honestly massive
47:27thanks to the team because we kind of kept our core we always keep a chill vibe and that is what it is
47:32that's how i look at it and um seventh i thought if i can get top five i'll be happy if i can get a
47:36podium i'll be buzzing i saw i was at the front i was like i got a bit more pace so hats off to the team
47:42um happy with my performance alton park someone's struggling all weekend these guys raced earlier
47:47this year i don't know man that was one of them days when it's feeling good a win to win take it
47:53however they come scott well done it's a drive home better because that was going to be miserable

48:33one coming this morning but he fully fully deserved it fantastic ride james james first of all from a guy
48:39we know who's got the class and he's going to be a contender when we go to brands in a couple of
48:44weeks time yeah i mean there's been some exceptional racing first i've got to say well done to the
48:49organizers to get anything done today with the oil spillage massive cleanup operation there that worked
48:55perfectly anything it would uh and the weather issues we've had i think it's been such a great
49:00weekend and we've seen we've seen some good racing yeah we've i mean some superb racing at that race
49:05what a stonker you just didn't think all those guys would be able to be in the hunt after this
49:10quality of some of the races so far yeah i was chatting with uh brad there and he said what
49:13happened he tried to back him up he's thinking about the championship then he got cold tech
49:18couldn't go when he put the hammer down that just dragged everybody else in at one point there were 12
49:22riders win about a second and a half unbelievable we all love world super bikes we all love moto gp but
49:27they never deliver these kind of stories do they you know the three different races here all these
49:32narratives people backing each other up and and even for one reason for lots and lots of reasons
49:37the diversity of circuits diversity of bikes work in a different circuits no electronics it's just
49:43such a good championship this when you get racing like that a special moment and a special win then for
49:48scott reddit
50:02yeah it's going to be a sweet ride home back to gloucestershire for scott reddit then
50:32i'm fully on haslam bittersweet maybe you know the way things have gone this weekend three podiums
50:36but it could easily have been three wins yes it could but he's ridden superbly also he really has
50:40cemented that third place in the championship but i think the overall of course that he's a winner he's
50:45a racer of course he wants to win and it's very unusual for him to get his uh pocket picked yeah i think
50:51i think he at the moment disappointed i think by the time he gets back to uh small in derbyshire i think
50:57he'll be reflecting on what has been a good week he's had a brilliant weekend we'll know that brad
51:01will be heading back down to lead in kent with his parents tonight and maybe back home to andora
51:05tomorrow where he's been living for the last couple of years how will he reflect on this weekend i think
51:10he'll reflect on really really good weekend this is a weekend weather wise and everything else wise
51:15where a lot could have gone wrong i think it was not damage limitation but he certainly has given
51:20himself a better chance going at a brands i think is it 30 28 there's some 30 i think 30 yeah is it
51:26right okay well i mean i think for both riders he's pulled some points back i think brad will be
51:30happy and going in with a little bit of momentum and certainly got the pace on track and i think kyle
51:36for his part will be not too disappointed and i think if he just said you're going at a brand's 30
51:41points lead i think it'd taken it yeah we actually kyle just walked past us as the podium was going
51:45on big smile on his face yeah i mean it takes a lot to to wipe that off yeah yeah and i think that also
51:52he knows what he needed to do he didn't need any dns at the end of the day so he's lost a couple of
51:56points yes great battling as we saw here earlier in the races uh with leon sort of coming in as well
52:02so i mean it was it was it was a great you know a great result from uh from kyle you know he's he's
52:08still in the hunt he's got one hand on the trophy coming into brands but it was just interesting
52:13because after that little mistake from uh from brad with that what sort of the soft wet tire and the
52:18wet condition on race one he's come out fighting and we've just seen brad like he were at the start
52:25of the season i think that's really good for for him for his team and and the championship yeah and i mean
52:30we saw that a good point because he made a that was a nervous decision on tires it wasn't the safe
52:34choice it was kind of trying to get something that was never there and actually that you would have
52:39thought that the weekend could have properly fallen apart after that and he salvaged it okay reasons to
52:44be cheerful then for brad ray for kyle ryde for leon haslam and for scott reddin but actually the rider
52:50of the round as voted for by the bennett's bsb fans is storm stacy in his wish yeah thank you matt yeah
52:56storm stacy what a fantastic performance you've had again this weekend you must be over the moon
53:00with how it's gone yeah really happy with that i felt so comfortable running with him as well
53:05just unfortunate i just couldn't get ready ready was so good on the brakes he was so good over the
53:10back section into his that's where i could do most my passes then into the last corner he could click
53:15another gear on that decay and it seemed to just go um but then brad i managed to get him into the last
53:19corner and then i clicked second gear by accident around cascades then he got me into the end just an
53:25exciting race and then leon nearly put me in pit lane coming over the start and finish you don't
53:29get racing any closer than that that's why bsb is probably one of the best championships in the world
53:33isn't it bsb is one of the best championships in the world storm and the bsb fans the bennett's bsb
53:38fans have really enjoyed your performance this weekend storm stacy you are the bennett's rider of

54:01a super bright talent and it's been a breakthrough year for him so far yeah uh in the we always knew
54:06we had good pace in the way he's got really good pace in the drive loves this place so we just backs
54:10it in and just just kind of sits into the middle of the corner brilliant to watch not scared of anybody
54:15and he's going forward in this championship yeah you saw him a couple of times that race where he's
54:19up the inside it's like bang bang yeah fix it and inventing lines as well and he and he's just got
54:24a really nice way about him and it's lovely to see a a new name just breaking into this
54:29selection of right well he's running with them and he's learning from them as well you know
54:33world-class company is keeping it correct and honestly who else is doing that on a bmw that's
54:40all i'd say it's a quick bite yes but it isn't the one i'd choose working for him at the minute but
54:45he's riding it really really well yeah really hustles it around yeah and james is right he's
54:50head and shoulders above the rest anybody else on a beer so you've got to really take your hat off
54:54yeah to that a big top top off to that yeah take your top off um the future is bright for storm and
55:00for us the immediate future is bright brands hatching a fortnight's time and another final round this
55:05either yeah i mean obviously the big points change going from 25 points to win to 35 points to win so
55:10those riders getting in between could really make a difference three races it is a 30 point you know
55:17gap so it's so super exciting which means it cannot be decided on race he's got to go to the second
55:21race day it will go to the second race day and it is in the hands at the moment of kyle ride let's
55:26get his thoughts uh he's with shane yeah most definitely is kyle ride that's it the penultimate
55:31rounds done we go now into brand's action final round of the championship you're 30 points clear
55:36um tell us your thoughts now going into brand's edge yes uh i've had a difficult day he rode the
55:41bike well um credit where credit's due brad rode really well today hats off that race from 14th
55:46deserves a clap from everyone very good um but for me obviously a bit gutted i was leading the first
55:52race that was wet by however many seconds in front of brad so feel a little bit hard done by but we come
55:57back strong uh we started the weekend 31 in front and it's now 30 so uh we'll take the small wins uh that
56:03race was very enjoyable wanted to try and beat brad but obviously didn't really have the bite today
56:08um only had four gears as well not at fifth all day so i've struggled up clayhill and uh down the
56:13avenue so i've lost a few temps all day but uh yeah job done so uh yeah thanks everyone gotta say
56:18i saw the ride of your life last time you were at brand's at charles last winter kyle wish you the

57:28enjoyed it what a final race what we'll be talking about for many years to come you are the champion
57:34last year's title who could forget decided by one point it's gonna be
