00:55É importante para o primeiro start,
00:56Brian Jorgen disse.
00:57E que é exatamente o que Sascha Coonan
00:59tem no início da corrida.
01:00E Sascha é tão bom
01:02at putting down os hot laps.
01:03Obviamente, ele é um bom starter.
01:05A pouco do mesmo estilo de Prado.
01:08Mas, se você let ele
01:09ir para o caminho,
01:10como ele vai ter muito longe,
01:10ele vai controlar a corrida.

09:00Great drive out of that bottom right turn, Langefelder,
09:03spun up, coming out of the right hander, e o que ele foi para o
09:52já sejestuou o passo, 1.51, 1.50, 1.68.

10:08Então, Cien Vêres will get his head down

12:01a little bit that was a replay there ferez around the outside the work was done though before that
12:05at the bottom of the hill in the right hand corner you see when ferez went to the outside and
12:10langerfelder was on the inside trying to be defensive he just spun the rear wheel up didn't
12:14get that good drive and it was ferez who had the better drive better traction that's why he was
12:18able to execute at the top of the hill carry that speed around the outside of the german and uh
12:23yeah
12:23move into that fourth position so good riding that from ferez who's now fourth it was 12th on
12:29the opening lap through the first three four corners to the first checkpoint so he's been
12:33very rapid in this second race as a championship leader and what is funny to see as well you know
12:38if you compare the lap times to the mxgp they're very close i mean hurling said the fastest lap on
12:43on the last lap which is a 49 they're running 50s and 51 so very much on the pace here
12:48i know the
12:48little bit of a track you know condition changed a little bit and so just uh again look langerfelder
12:55goes to the inside watch him spin up on the uh shiny stuff there ferez got better drive that's why
13:00he
13:00was able to execute he got alongside and langerfelder couldn't quite get across to the right to defend
13:04and it was that ferez who made that fantastic move into fourth place yeah that's that's pure confidence
13:09that you know that's for sure carlos raceless getting closer to valerio latter who sensed the
13:15yamaha was there so he went a little bit deeper into the corner restless on the 47 here in eighth
13:21place he
13:22was able to get out of that turn but wasn't able to get on the fat part of the tire
13:25just to get maximum
13:25traction on the run to that next jump so this one here is going to be going all the way
13:30down to the
13:30wire i think between these two they've got about seven seconds to make up to janus raceless who's
13:34ahead of them probably in the first turn as we speak or just the other side of it
13:40but still one or two interesting battles going on around the racetrack just keeping an eye on the
13:45gap at the head of the field sasha kunan still leads by 2.6 seconds camden mcclellan since he was
13:52able to burst into that third place hasn't done anything about the guys ahead of him and he's now
13:56seven seconds adrift so uh camden mcclellan may be just going for the podium here and going for
14:04seventh place carlis raceless downy inside latter's going to come back for more carlis raceless reads it
14:11well he has to get back off the gas as well and they're gonna have a little bit more fun
14:15and games
14:15here latter still holds on for now to that seventh place carlis raceless goes a long way around and
14:23he's gonna have to go wide through here and he does make the past stick latter not able to do
14:28anything
14:28about it and the latvian goes through we've got janus raceless in six carlis raceless in seven
14:32latter now down to eighth yeah i know it's it's uh it's a really good race here and they i
14:39am really
14:40really you know i'm very excited to see how ferez actually deals with it here if he's gonna settle
14:45for that and get you know the maximum point what he can or he's gonna try to to go even
14:50further up and
14:51and you know on damage control on the point from the from the first motor so it's gonna be funny
14:56how
14:56see how he he attacked this race well we're about to find out because there's camden mcclellan
15:01his teammate one and a half seconds further up the track and here's gian ferez his lap times a little
15:06bit quicker constantly and so as we move into lap eight ferez and uh mcclellan now separated by just
15:13under two seconds there are the two triumphs there on screen we've got a record crowd attendance here
15:18this weekend just as we did in lommel two weekends ago 28 and a half thousand people dotted around this
15:24hillside here in southern sweden but all eyes on this battle here with 14 just under 15 minutes to go
15:31coon and evans mcclellan they are your top three but ferez can he do anything about his teammate can
15:36he break into the top three
15:48just under 14 and a half minutes to go camden mcclellan will know i'm sure that his teammate is right
15:53there
15:53behind him just over one and a half seconds further back didn't have the pace that he had earlier in
15:58the
15:58race but uh gillian ferez well you don't need a better carrot than your teammate rule number one
16:04beat your teammate that's for sure obviously we've got a situation here where we've got a championship
16:09that can be decided you know not just today but four rounds we've got four rounds after this we go
16:14to
16:14arnhem in the netherlands a week from now we have a week off and then we have the final three
16:19all flyaways
16:20turkey china australia ferez is still the championship leader at the moment
16:27but what will that gap be going into the netherlands or at the end of today there's no way he
16:33can lose
16:33the championship leaders red plate today because he was 31 points clear heading into the second race
16:38but can't afford any more slip-ups like he had yesterday in the qualifying race brian no definitely
16:42you know but like i said you know in the first motor to now is like you you can see
16:46that he got his
16:47confidence back i don't know if he's going to be able to move further up and and and pass his
16:52teammate
16:52but it's definitely a great character to have and if he does that then you know you have less damage
16:58on his on his points lead well as it stands right now as he hits the line with eight laps
17:03in the books
17:03he's got a 24 point lead over sasha kunin at the top of the championship that has come down from
17:0947
17:10points that's what you call a point swing and we've seen that quite a lot this year in mxgp with
17:14lucas
17:15coon and jeffie hurlings we've seen it now this weekend with perez when we didn't expect it to
17:19yeah we've seen it on the other side of atlantic in uh in ama i'm not going to ruin anything
17:23there
17:23but it's been a very interesting weekend there as well and uh just i don't know something about that
17:29eclipse that we had the other day maybe and the earth's energy just you know might have something to
17:35do with it maybe maybe not but uh still going to be an interesting end to this season
17:45bottom left corner of his screen that's first and second top center of his screen there's third and
17:49forward mcclellan and ferez evarts has still got his fellow countrymen fellow belgian right there ahead
17:56of him the red bull ktm of sasha kunin now only just 1.3 seconds clear of the rider here
18:00in white
18:01and the yellow and blue the husqvarna traditional colors because of course husqvarna swedish brand
18:06originally yeah before it got taken over by the austrians and uh that's just like a little homage a
18:11little bit of respect to uh husqvarna the factory being the original colors of course the white the
18:16yellow the blue and uh evarts all over the back of sasha kunin hasn't been on the podium since the
18:23overall in sardinia round four he was back to back podiums round three round four evarts still going in
18:30search of that third podium but crucially a result better than second and he will be second here this
18:35weekend unless he finds his way past sasha kunin of course they will time points evarts will take
18:40over the grand prix victory so it's going to be an interesting end to this race 11 and a half
18:45minutes
18:45plus two laps to go both husqvarna and ktm mechanics hanging out there getting their guys to do more do
18:52better easier said than done on a tricky racetrack that's uh had some work done on it it's a little
18:57bit
18:58higher speed than it was in race one yeah but it's still very very technical yeah but you know
19:02like evarts you know he's in a position now either he pushed the envelope a little bit and get past
19:06him now otherwise you know maybe he gets stuck behind him and be difficult to grow to to actually
19:12close that gap and actually pass him but he knows that is you know this is for the for the
19:16overall
19:16if evarts passing me he's going to win the overall so uh so yeah let's see how he he plays
19:22it out
19:23and obviously sasha kunan we've seen time and time again you know when uh he is pushed to the limit
19:29yeah he can make one or two little mistakes he had a couple of mistakes middle of uh mx2 race
19:35one
19:35we step up into sort of uh the corner a couple of corners from the finish line that we just
19:41saw a
19:41moment ago where he just missed the corner going in then of course that brings all that brought
19:46liam evarts back into play and all of a sudden he was under pressure but so far he's dealing with
19:52the
19:52pressure behind him very very well what he did say after his win in race one uh sasha kunin and
19:57that
19:57was his first win since race two in latvia around eight earlier on in the year feels so good to
20:03be
20:03you know coming back from an injury and to get that first win again seven wins now in the season
20:08he's
20:09going for eight and it's uh yeah that's obviously given him a massive boost in confidence coming into
20:14race two definitely but you know like like i said with with liam now he needs to get a little
20:19bit
20:19closer to you know put that little bit of a uh a pressure on him and so he can hear
20:24him you know
20:24there's nothing worse than what you can hear your you know someone coming up and you can hear them
20:28already from from the engine and you can actually feel how close they are so he needs to get a
20:34little
20:34bit you know put a couple laps down so he can get us in rear wheel and then see if
20:39he can be able to
20:39to get him to make a mistake 1.3 seconds now the gap between kunan and evans ktm versus husvana
20:46two
20:47belgians leading the way one and two mcclellan nearly five seconds further back 4.7 adrift actually
20:54with ferez still around about one and a half seconds here's a replay of the start sasha kunin streaking
21:00away with the foxhole shot for the second time this 13th of the season closes down everybody else on the
21:06exit langenfelder was right there i think it was on the exit as well but evans quickly found his way
21:10past
21:13julius mikula had a good start but then he drifted a little wide and put himself in a position
21:17at the top of the hill where he's maybe just a little tight mcclellan was able to go by the
21:22rider
21:22in orange but mcclellan is now in third ferez fourth langenfelder fifth and actually gian ferez
21:29was around about 12th or 13th through the first couple of corners so he made a lot of good progress
21:35in the
21:35first lap to get himself up to that fourth or fifth place he's now in fourth ahead of langenfelder
21:41and what is amazing paul like you see the first four riders they're almost on the same second you
21:45know there's such such a difficult track to make a difference you know you're not just gonna cut off
21:50uh half a second or a second you know it's such a a fine line when you are putting the
21:54you know when
21:55you're pressing yourself to to become a little bit faster you are dealing with the limit of your tire and
22:01everything else so it's a difficult track to uh to race yeah there's only so fast that you can go
22:06on a motorcycle around here like you said the the lap times are very similar to what we had in
22:11mxgp race
22:12one now as well there's a little bit of work happened in the break which has obviously
22:16increased a little bit of speed to mx2 race two but there was some horrible little holes starting to
22:21develop and some things like that so they've just not completely uh flattened it they've just left a
22:26little bit of character here and there yeah but they needed to uh do that just to sort of uh
22:31make
22:31it just that little bit more rideable uh in the second race but and then it's amazing on a track
22:37like this if you just do a little bit of work you you know you get so much more grip
22:41on the exit of
22:42the corner so uh yeah you can see the the riders are really i think they really enjoy this track
22:49even
22:49if you know it is a difficult track to uh to push on but nice jump nice scenery you know
22:55some some
22:56good jumps as well yeah not the easiest place to ride and obviously it's had a few changes over
23:00the years since the 90s when we both raced it in early 2000s when you raced it last probably
23:04but uh yeah it's just one of those that you have to be fully respectful of it whilst trying to
23:10go as
23:10fast as you can with control at the right hand you know to respect the dirt the grip levels which
23:16they
23:16seem to have a little bit more grip on the track compared to what they had for race one and
23:21the
23:21qualifying race right at the end of the day on saturday but even still there's some gnarly holes gnarly
23:26bumps which will catch you out if you're not careful yeah the rider down there the 320 of sunman the
23:30local rider but but like i said like we said pole like it it never used to build up that
23:36really nice
23:36ruts you know with the new layout they have done and we also rode the other way on the track
23:41actually
23:41so yeah now i think there's a lot better lines to be able to lay the front wheel down and
23:46have more
23:46confidence of standing up and stuff so just saw ollie colmer there as well cruising around so i just wonder
23:52whether he and sunman uh sebastian sunman both had uh come together because someone was picking
23:57himself up and colmer looking like he was riding around in the aftermath of a crash there so those
24:03two will just try and uh get it to the line in the next six minutes plus two laps these
24:08two though
24:08only have eyes for each other or certainly the 26 of evans only has eyes for sasha kunan at the
24:13moment
24:13that gap is down to a second at the last split six minutes to go just under look on the
24:19clock as they
24:20hit the finish line still on 51s both of them well they're pushing each other through the roof at
24:26the moment but having said that with evans pushing kunan how good a job is mcclellan doing he's 4.7
24:32seconds behind evans in the same sort of territory so he's obviously been sneaking a lap time here and
24:39there yeah just to try and close down this gap and he's been able to put uh well still hovering
24:441.8 1.9
24:45seconds ahead of ferez but with five and a half minutes plus two laps to go still no change at
24:50the
24:51front sasha kunan and liam evans just over a second apart as they continue to dispute not only
24:56the race win but also the overall grand prix camden mcclellan and gian ferez they are fighting over
25:02third so uh still a long way to go five minutes plus two remain here in sweden
25:17just saw the gap there between the two triumph riders camden mcclellan getting a bit of a hurry
25:21on now he's just set the fastest time in sector two only by a tenth though because sasha kunan was
25:2623.9
25:27seconds ferez was uh 23.8 sorry mcclellan 23.8 ferez 24.2 so a little bit of give and
25:36take in those
25:37sectors but look at evans coming back for more than the start has farna got right on the rear wheel
25:44now
25:44of sasha kunan and he has sasha kunan right where he wants him the big question brian jorgensen is when
25:51he gets onto the rear wheel where do you see a passing opportunity you don't need back markers like that
25:56and
25:57actually that was uh evans coming in there want to see that again when evans came into that turn
26:03he was probably just inside of kunan didn't see the back marker until kunan had passed but he was
26:08already committed at full speed and then almost ran into what he did run into him yeah it seems like
26:12he's a little bit faster ever since some part of the track but putting the whole track together
26:16see look here evans can't see him at this point probably no and then all of a sudden kunan moves
26:21out
26:21of the way and evans like wow i didn't see you there and josh volker lucky not to take down
26:25evans
26:26in a racing incident very very fine and he just lost that a little bit you know one and a
26:30half
26:30second that he's just been using four laps to actually gain so uh now he's on the chase again
26:35but he does have the pace doesn't he he's got the speed and he knows that as well so this
26:40is going to
26:40be one big push three and a half minutes plus two laps to go uh where do you think that
26:45the pass is
26:45possible is it going to be over here on the left in these little switchback corners or somewhere else
26:48do you think yeah i think you know probably a little bit the same like gifting that last year
26:51and they'll come running down at the inside because you have pretty good grip down there
26:55you know you can push them to the outside but uh yeah you know you gotta get you gotta put
26:59yourself
27:00in position to get close enough uh for doing that well gian ferrez is hoping to get close enough to
27:05try and find his way pastor mcclellan but he's riding his luck at the moment yeah definitely but uh you
27:12know he still get good points if he if he stays here you know after what we saw yesterday i
27:17think he's done
27:17the best what he could do watch this here as he gets out of turn seven the old talladega backhand
27:22lights up almost unseats him lucky to get away with that one lives to fight another lap but he
27:31knows he cannot afford to make any more mistakes doesn't need us to tell him that doesn't need
27:35the team to tell him that he's very very aware of the situation that he's in right now
27:44two and a half minutes plus two laps to go there's keppner mcclellan through the left turn here's his
27:49teammate ferrez yeah it looks a little bit on his body language that he's just settling now
27:57in my opinion but because he's he's not really pushing the the the small places on the track but
28:03yeah let's see how he uh he approached the last the last couple of laps well we'll see won't we
28:12through the left
28:16through the right deck through the first turn still got his teammate right there and even despite that
28:22mistake that gap is still 1.9 seconds and he loses the back end comes around on him fortunately for
28:29him
28:29he's got about 20 seconds over simon langenfelder well that's all she wrote that's going to determine
28:33third position in the race the cleland was already going to be on the podium anyway even if ferrez found
28:39his way by but we saw it a lap ago coming out of talladega at the bottom end of the
28:43circuit that left
28:44how it lit up that was a warning sign he had another warning sign there he didn't need a third
28:49one the
28:49second one put him down on his ear and uh he will now just cruise to the end of this
28:53race and salvage
28:55that fourth position here we see it again he jumps up into this turn that's three mistakes he's made in
29:00this corner all over the course of the weekend fold to the front back end came around on him there's
29:04another view of it look there's the front it tucks then he was off balance being off and then there
29:09was
29:09only one outcome there gian ferez out of fourth but remains in fourth as he picks himself up fortunate
29:16for him he had that gap over langenfelder which is now 13 seconds so i was actually just about to
29:22say
29:22pole just before he crashed he's very good at using the berm and turn off the berm and then get
29:27the
29:27full tire to the ground to get maximum traction and then he you know he talks the front so uh
29:33but
29:33otherwise it you know the way that he rides the bike a lot with the feet and the pegs i
29:37really like
29:37his style he's using his balance a lot and he's pretty good with the throttle control normally but
29:43it's not going to be his favorite uh corner for from this after this weekend that's for sure absolutely
29:49not well he was uh 47 points clear of his teammate heading into uh race two so of course when
29:59you
29:59think some people might think well hang on a minute if he's leading the championship by 31 and you've got
30:03coonan there some people might say when do team orders come into play but yeah when you've also got
30:08a teammate that can still also win the championship there are no team orders no definitely not and that's
30:13one thing time they've done very very well is let both guys race right from the very first lap of
30:18every race every round yeah but that's why i said like you know he's such a great position that you
30:23know if you push a little bit more we could end up with a story like we had yesterday you
30:27know
30:27so it's it's trying to manage the race and feel you know how do you feel and and how do
30:32i do so i
30:34don't damage my my championship points lead you know well sasha kunin has weathered everything that
30:40liam evans has thrown at him at the moment still just over a second he can't afford to switch off
30:45with a one and a half second advantage over the belgian simon langenfelder here 11 and a half
30:50seconds down on guillem ferez he may have had a pit board to say that ferez had been down try
30:56and
30:56push if you can because in that instance with time ticking away ferez may just back off a little bit
31:02might give langenfelder a way in towards the end of the race but langenfelder also knows that ferez
31:07will keep an eye left right when he needs to yeah and uh he'll probably know that there's no way
31:12back
31:13to that fourth position unless there's another little slip up from the spaniard so you can see
31:18between conan and and evans you know it always goes from 1.5 to 2.5 so yeah it's going
31:24back and
31:25forwards all the time it's so difficult to make up that you know one or two seconds or half a
31:30second
31:31per lap even if it it's it's just a small margin simon langenfelder then with uh 3.8 seconds over
31:41janice races so he can't exactly switch off either raceless will come in a view now over the liquid
31:44molly jump there he is head of his uh brother and teammate who's another six seconds further back
31:49the race july will be six and seven but simon langenfelder he's not going to finish on the podium here
31:56race one he was fifth race two is going to be fifth and that's going to be sixth overall
32:03for the defending champ into the final two laps and sasha kunan is 1.8 clear we are now into
32:11the realms
32:11of traffic back markers yep evans will know that as well and when those blue flags are waving for these
32:17slower riders here these riders towards the back and in fact kunan already running into trouble with
32:24the back markers here just a moment ago nike e-corsbeck the swede who uh does he close him down
32:30here or is he just parked up behind him yeah it's gonna have to go the long way around and
32:35then he
32:35looks across and then thinks okay i better get out of the way but that she doesn't get out of
32:39the way
32:39and that is a problem when you see the 44 and he sees that 19 there of course he knows
32:46he can't
32:47race him he shouldn't be racing him and he's still racing him all the way down here that is uh
32:52bad
32:52sportsmanship and not in keeping with the uh the normal way of thinking keeping there for the 44
32:57of course back yeah he should have recognized that now all of a sudden now all of a sudden you
33:03know
33:03kunan's having to take risks to try and find a way by he shouldn't have to you know and uh
33:07here he
33:07is now racing yeah he's in a battle with another rider uh four screen but even still when the leaders
33:12come through you are supposed to obey the obey the blue flags and it costs you time then so be
33:17it
33:17you know they're the rules definitely respect the flags respect the leaders coming through don't
33:22get involved in their race mcclellan up the inside of forsgren there just in that left turn
33:30well kunan in that same slick corner oh i tell you what hugging the uh the bank there to the
33:36the left
33:36hand side that will cost him a little bit of time and here he is he had a two second
33:40margin a moment ago
33:42it's now two and a half seconds so evans is he now thinking let's just take the second place
33:47two and a half seconds i've tried all race couldn't find a way past
33:52well to be honest paul like you know he made a couple of mistakes sasha and you know he came
33:56actually out the best of the two uh so ever spots have been caught up with those lap riders and
34:02it's a
34:02little bit of shame you know they don't respect the flags and and actually just orientate and look
34:06behind and see who's coming because those guys are are racing for the world championship so
34:12well sasha kunan then obviously we thought he got the short straw just sort of flash there of
34:16liam evans dropping into the corner there and actually you know what kunan can't afford to
34:22switch off and i don't think he will either and you know what it's like as a rider brian when
34:27you
34:27switch off and you back off too much the mind starts to slow down the track's still coming at you
34:31at a fair rate of knots that's when you make those mistakes so you have to be pretty much on
34:35it pretty
34:35much all the way right the way to the flag yeah definitely you have to you have to keep that
34:39focus we saw that with you know obviously with gifting last year you know pass now we got it
34:44and then in this corner yeah this corner so um yeah you have to be focused all the time because
34:50in this track it's like such a difficult to be on that that limit but evans is pushing still
34:57yeah he's not giving up despite his issues with uh traffic probably on that final lap but he's going
35:01to be looking at his first podium second overall as it stands right now unless with a couple of
35:06corners to go there's a slight tip over here from the number 19 of sasha kunan but it looks like
35:11he's
35:12going to be okay now that that turn that turn is out of the way there's always the the thing
35:17with
35:17sasha you know never knowing to the so the flag is actually there downhill for the final time time two
35:23corners to go and sasha kunan is going to be on the podium not just any step he's on the
35:28top step here he
35:29goes 1-1 here in sweden it's his first win since italy montevaki round nine his first podium since
35:36portugal round 10 when he was third overall and it's his first podium he hasn't been on the podium
35:41in the last four rounds he was fourth in south africa eighth at great britain he let uh seventh in
35:45czech
35:45republic and six in
