00:00All right, so let's go over to Colorado.
00:04What can I say that we haven't really said already?
00:09Let's face it, this has been a failure.
00:12He's 16-21, Deion Sanders.
00:14Now, reporters who cover the team, beat reporters,
00:19are not allowed to cover what they see at practice.
00:23They're not allowed to put any columns together on what you see at practice.
00:27You've been barred from talking and reporting on anything that goes on
00:32at the Colorado Buffaloes training camp.
00:35Why?
00:36I thought this was all about publicity, getting the program exposure,
00:41all the things that Deion brought.
00:43You know the one thing that Deion hasn't brought?
00:45He's winning.
00:46Like I said, he's 16-21.
00:48He's 9-18 in conference play.
00:52He's not succeeding here.
00:55Kurt Signetti has absolutely put a spotlight on all of these coaches,
01:01like a Deion Sanders, that is supposed to go into a place
01:04and turn the fortunes around for a place like Colorado.
01:08Hey, on one hand, you could say that it's been a success
01:11because look at the money that's being generated
01:13and look at some of the exposure that Deion has brought.
01:17But that's flash-in-the-pants stuff.
01:20He's not a very good Division I football coach.
01:23His record dictates it.
01:25Has he ever beaten a top-20 football team that was rated at the end of the year?
01:31The answer is no.
01:33You're talking about a program that is really not a very good football program.
01:38It's all flash.
01:39You know, when Dan Lanning said that, the head football coach of Oregon,
01:43we're not all about social media clicks,
01:45and we're not all about the flash and the glitz.
01:47We're more talking about winning football games at Oregon.
01:51He was right.
01:52Why in God's name would you want to go and play at Colorado right now for Deion Sanders
01:57when most of the players that he recruits from his office want to leave?
02:02Think about that.
02:03I mean, you're not bringing in top-flight kids to stay there
02:07and want to play football for you
02:09because they know in the end it's not about winning.
02:12It's really more about the flash.
02:1516 and 21.
02:17It's been a failure, and there's no other way to look at it.
02:21And I remember people like Bayless saying all these things that Deion was going to win
02:27a national championship at Colorado.
02:30Skip was going around, and so were a lot of people like Shannon Sharp saying,
02:34hey, look, I would not be shocked if you see Colorado in the college football playoff.
02:39College football playoff?
02:40How about being a 500-football team?
02:43Let's start with that.
02:44It's been an absolute failure.
02:47In Boulder with Deion Sanders with a 16-21 record.
