00:00Heavy rain returns to Las Vegas, Nevada when drenching thunderstorms have occurred in many areas.
00:05We're going to see more of this later this weekend.
00:07That's kind of the, it's the tale of two things right now.
00:11The rain in the west, the nice conditions and the fall foliage in the east.
00:14That's right. So it's all a question of where you are.
00:18And we can take you into Vegas, another area.
00:23Thunderstorms returning and producing hail in some areas as well.
00:26Again, it's a combination of flash flooding and hail in some spots.
00:29It doesn't quite look like seafoam, but the hail just makes the rain look like foamy.
00:33It does. It looks like Dippin' Dots a little bit.
00:36Oh, that's a better, yeah, I didn't have a great, like it made me think of seafoam, but I'm like,
00:40this is so much less impressive than seafoam.
00:42Or when you get something with the styrofoam little beads and you, yeah, so the bean bags are filled with
00:47that and somebody unzips it and runs across the room.
00:49They open a huge package outside.

01:01Take a look at satellite and radar.
01:04And more rain, not necessarily the severe weather today. It's been flash flooding.
01:08Yeah, we're dealing with some drenching rain in some areas.
01:11Areas like Dripping Springs, Texas, appropriately named on a day like today.
01:15We're also dealing with some showers.
01:17These are a little bit more slim in the Midwest.
01:19Yes, we're starting to see a trend, though, of the rain moving north and east.
01:24By tonight, West Texas, you get a break.
01:26And some of this wet weather in the Southwest is coming in surges.
01:29There's some shower and thunderstorm action right now in the Southwest,
01:33but a new surge moves into Southern California late tomorrow.
01:36Tomorrow night into Sunday morning, very wet time for many.
01:39Yeah, so all of this is kind of the precursor to the flash flood event that starts tomorrow night.
