00:05was shot and killed during an exchange of gunfire with officers at his girlfriend's home in Matura on Tuesday night.
00:12According to police, around 11pm, officers received information that Hassan H. Mann Johnson, 18,
00:19was at his girlfriend's home where he had been hiding since Douglas' murder.
00:24Police and soldiers surrounded the house and engaged Johnson in a shootout.
00:28He was hit several times.
00:30A 19-year-old man and Johnson's girlfriend, who were also inside the house at the time, were not injured.
00:36Johnson was taken to the Sangre Grandi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, around 11.55pm.
00:43The other man and Johnson's girlfriend were detained.
00:47Douglas, who was assigned to the Four Roads Police Station, was off duty
00:50and sitting in a car at the corner of Hydraulic Trace and Carony South Bank Road, Kerry Village,
00:55on July 28th, when he was killed in an attempted robbery.
00:59Another one of the alleged bandits, 19-year-old Aratola Amon of Arima,
01:03was fatally shot that same night.
