10:20The prophet Jeremiah chapter 30
10:25The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
10:27The Lord, the God of Israel, has said,
10:31Put down in a book all the words I have said to you.
10:35For see, the days are coming, says the Lord,
10:38when I will let the fate of my people Israel and Judah be changed, says the Lord.
10:43I will make them come back to the land I gave to their fathers,
10:47so they may take it for their heritage.
10:50So these are the words which the Lord said about Israel and about Judah.
10:56This is what the Lord said.
10:58A voice of shaking fear has come to our ears, of fear and not of peace.
11:06Put the question and see if it is possible for a man to have birth pains.
11:11Why do I see every man with his hands gripping his sides, as a woman does,
11:15when the pains of birth are upon her, and all faces are turned green?
11:21Ha! For that day is so great, there is no day like it.

12:36Your disease may not be made well, and your wound is bitter.
12:41There is no help for your wound, there is nothing to make you well.

12:49For I have given you the wound of a hater,
12:52even cruel punishment.
12:54Why do you cry for help, because of your wound?
12:57For your pain may never be taken away.
13:00Because your evil doing was so great,

13:09Because of this, all those who take you for their food
13:12will themselves become your food,

13:28For I will make you healthy again,
13:31and I will make you well from your wounds,
13:33says the Lord,
13:35because they have given you the name of an outlaw,
13:37saying,
13:38It is Zion cared for by no man.
13:42The Lord has said,
13:44See, I am changing the fate of the tents of Jerusalem,
13:47Jacob.
13:48I will have pity on his houses.
13:50The town will be put up on its hill,
13:53and the great houses will be living places again.
13:57From them will go out praise and the sound of laughing.
14:01I will make them great in number,
14:03and they will not become less.
14:05I will give them glory,
14:07and they will not be small.
14:10Their children will be as they were in the old days,
14:14and the meeting of the people
14:15will have its place before me,
14:17and I will send punishment on all who are cruel to them.

14:31so that he may come near me.
14:33For who may have the strength of heart

14:37says the Lord.
14:39You will be my people,

14:45See, the storm wind of the Lord,
14:47even the heat of his wrath,
14:49has gone out,
14:50a rolling storm bursting on the heads of the evildoers.
14:55The wrath of the Lord will not be turned back
14:57until he is done,
14:58until he has put into effect
15:00the purposes of his heart.
15:03In days to come,
15:05you will have full knowledge of this.

17:10But after I come back from the dead,
17:12I will go before you into Galilee.
17:16Peter answered and said,
17:18Though all may be turned away from you,

18:12and falling down on his face in prayer,

18:15My father, if it is possible,
18:17may this cup go from me.
18:20But let not my pleasure but yours be done.
18:24He returned to the disciples,
18:26and saw that they were asleep,
18:28and said to Peter,
18:30What, were you not able to keep watch with me one hour?
18:34Keep watch and pray,
18:36so that you may not be put to the test.
18:39The spirit truly is ready,
18:41but the flesh is feeble.
18:44Again the second time he went away and said in prayer,
18:47O my father,
18:49if this may not go from me without my taking it,
18:52may your pleasure be done.
18:55He came again and saw them sleeping,
18:57for their eyes were tired.

20:25But how then would the writings come true,

20:35Have you come out as against a thief,
20:38with swords and sticks to take me?
20:42I taught every day in the temple,
20:44and you didn't take me.
20:46But all this has taken place,
20:48in order that the writings of the prophets might come true.
