00:00you're looking over 30 kids and i'm just terrified of like losing one of them so i'm like freaking
00:05out the whole time i'm not i'm not a school teacher i don't any of the teachers that have
00:10been like chaperones on school trips i salute you because i was terrified this was three hours
00:15that you're responsible for the lives of all these young sure that they're there making sure
00:20that they are taken care of and and not lost in front of a sea of humanity i was uh
00:27it was
00:27extremely nerve-wracking now had they have gone last year maybe they would have been able to play
00:31receiver for shador sanders that's they could have caught some of the balls you could have been
00:36you know you dare to dream you dare to dream that's all that could be said about that
00:42maybe they can do that maybe they could have had a chance of tailing green
00:45yeah throws ball pretty hard probably would have hurt some of their hands i need all them kids this
00:48year so by the way there were five other coaches there that were taking care of him but and they
00:53did a tremendous job and all the kids were very well behaved and loved him but i was terrified
00:58the whole time and so the only time i really got eyes on anything going on of any substance whatsoever
01:05was at the very end and the only reason i really did is because they all went to they do
01:10a great job
01:11with the kids and the autograph line afterwards and they lined up and i go if any of you kids
01:15step
01:15out of line with this group of people you will deal with me on monday and then they all went
01:20and i was
01:20so nervous i was like you know what nope i'm gonna step over the ropes and away i go i'm
01:24gonna make
01:24sure of it who did they want to see the most oh shador it was shador right yes doesn't it
01:28seem like
01:29that's uh that continues to be usual suspects shador number one with a bullet um uh denzel came out
01:38to a hero's welcome with the kids took uh took selfies with the kids as he came out i mean
01:43they
01:44love dylan gabriel dropped this stuff went through because they do like a handshake line
01:50you know when you run out you you you like you shake everybody's hand or slap hands slap
01:54fives with everybody like you get announced like in the super bowl they do that over for training
01:58camp and we're not just the only one there's they got a whole bunch of them throughout training camp
02:02that are coming it was just our day was on saturday dylan gabriel dropped this stuff credit where
02:06it's due came back shook hands with all the kids took selfies with all the kids um all the players
02:11were great i mean they're kids it's it's fish in a barrel they were all wonderful everybody was
02:16great um shador before he put on his pads and everything went out and did it it was great
02:21one of the first ones out there obviously and they were all so excited to see him because it's
02:26shador and kids love shador sanders no matter what yeah oh yeah um no comment on any of the other
02:33quarterbacks or net it was just dylan and him those are the ones i noticed and then we all went
02:37on our
02:37way right um so i when i said what i said during mini camp again you have to understand i'm
02:46saying
02:46right now reports if i see what i see i'll tell you what i see this week when i go
02:51there because
02:52there was a bleep storm that got raised a couple of months or a month ago during mini camp i
02:58can only
02:58go by the reports and so if i'm only going by the reports that all the quarterbacks are struggling to
03:03some level it's not dylan gabriel as much apparently right but if all the quarterbacks are struggling
03:09i'm just letting everybody know i can only go by the reports like zach has been there every day
03:13zach has been watching them like hawks every day when zach says this on his podcast it doesn't make
03:20me feel a lot better should or switch to number two then when jared verse came dylan six so you
03:26hear a
03:26lot of talk about two four and six two four and six there's four there's two two four six it
03:30just
03:31reminds me two four six eight who do we appreciate joe flacco yeah yeah joe flacco they've built a
03:36room that might not have a single nfl quarterback and it's too early to say that with any certainty
03:40and i promise you that shador is showing signs of confidence and growth it's not consistently there
03:45the arm strength is really not even close to good enough he needs time and he deserves time and he
03:49has to play to get better that's the only way you're going to find out that's the only way he's
03:52going to clean up some things that's the only way you're going to find out if he vibes with the
03:56players around him and he can move the ball at all he has to play so it's rough if everybody
04:00and
04:01that's audio courtesy of zach jackson and friends if uh if he struck if everybody's struggling then i
04:08you know where i think the tie should go yeah i think we're all in agreement but i don't think
04:12that that's probably where todd munkin's going to be i think he's going to think we got to win
04:17football games i don't give a damn what ken and anthony think like we want to see what your door
04:21has
04:21before we're ready to close that book and move on over to the other one and i like shador you
04:27haven't always been the biggest fan but we're still locked up on that like hey we're still curious
04:31yes you're agreeing with me on that okay but i don't think that todd munkin's going to feel that
04:36how in the world could a tie go to a guy that quite literally looks like he can't play the
04:42position
04:42are you talking about to to deshaun watson okay i don't understand last time we saw him playing
04:49football for the browns he couldn't play the position um throwing to the wrong team consistently
04:54the the ground balls the dirt balls i totally agree uh you know we talk about both guys have
05:01a proclivity to kind of running themselves into sacks but come on like what could he have possibly
05:08gotten better at i don't know i don't know and i had said this previously and i was the number
05:15one
05:16guy waving the foam finger to try to bring this guy into town and so i am more guilty than
05:22anybody
05:22else of being wrong well regardless sean watson and you would think if anybody would want to still
05:29try to find something out of this deal that has put the browns in this awful awful spot over the
05:36years
05:36since they have they have brought him in if there was ever somebody that wanted to be proven right
05:41somehow that ship has sailed so long ago for me regardless of any of that i think you're right
05:47but you and i look at it big picture and i think todd munkin's gonna go i have one chance
05:52to get this
05:53right i have one chance to do it and and as of right now again i can only go by
05:57reports he's gotta he's
05:59just gotta be completely inept because i think the tie is gonna if you're a head coach i think the
06:06tie is
06:08on this team is deshaun watson whether i want to like that or not i don't like that i want
06:13to play
06:13shador sanders i want him to earn that job but earn is in the name so i i these three
06:19playoff playoff
06:20or preseason games end up being important because i get a chance to see more they're talking about the
06:25preseason mattering there for them and i know we've had several jokes about that over over the years
06:29for crying out loud but i i think with todd munkin he's gonna a veteran coach even though he's a
06:35first time head coach a veteran coach is going to go with a veteran and it's it's hard for me
06:42considering what i'm reading to think yes me i would want shador sanders to play but also to
06:48understand that if i were tasked with trying to win football games i'm not but if i were it'd be
06:54hard for me to move off from the veteran because your veteran is supposed to know more about the
06:59offense than the other two guys really combined now i know dylan gabriel is supposed to know more and
07:04obviously i'm throwing that name in there we'll talk more about that at seven o'clock but when it
07:08comes to those guys it's it's just it's going to be hard for me he's going to have to be
07:13so
07:15overwhelmingly bad to the point where like he he guys he really doesn't have it anymore like the
07:19preseason to me matters because that's when everybody's going to see it yeah and then we
07:23can actually have these arguments of going hey we're not just doing these silly completion
07:27percentages in camp we're not just going off a hearsay with reporters we're not just going off a
07:32hearsay with the thousands of fans that get into there every day and get to see it we're going
07:36off of what everybody can see in a game scenario even though it's not the biggest game scenario
07:40in the game scenario and we're actually seeing it and i i don't want him to play poorly but if
07:46we're
07:46going to go in the different direction and actually get a good sample size of shador you almost need him
07:52to you almost need him to do that and i because i think that our opinion and todd munkin's opinions
07:59are going to be really really really different they play the bears 12 days from now right in
08:03chicago yes and the bears are not going to be playing their starters and we have to play our
08:07starters so my god if he doesn't play well in that scenario i you gotta think i it's tough because
08:14it
08:15puts you in a position where you you want to see what's best for the organization and so what makes
08:19it tough for you is you almost have to root against somebody to see whether you get the best of
08:23the
08:23organization i know that's not a new concept to a lot of people but it doesn't mean people like
08:27doing it they don't
