01:25Officials now say shredded lettuce served at some Taco Bell locations is linked to a five-state outbreak of the
01:31intestinal illness cyclosporiasis. Those now. All right, Jacqueline, what more are you learning here?
01:39Brianna, we're learning that more than 1,600 people have gotten. So, not all victims have eaten
01:46at Taco Bell. For instance, we spoke with someone on the show this week who had confirmed cyclospora,
01:54had eaten actually in New York City at an establishment that was not Taco Bell. So, what does that mean?
02:03That's right, Brianna. That tells us that there might be something broader going on.

02:41box office goals? We'll discuss next. Today, the Trump administration is increasing its scrutiny of
02:48state election systems. Homeland Security Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen today issuing a stark warning to
02:54election officials in states that refused to partner with his department. Mullen saying that
02:59he would use maximum pressure to root out any illegally cast votes. Now, this follows President
03:05Trump's primetime address last night, where he again raised unfounded claims about vulnerabilities in
03:10the U.S. election system and China's alleged efforts to influence elections. See that claim on China.
03:16Yeah, Brianna, so I think what we're seeing here is the president is taking a look at a relatively
03:23obscure, great then-President Trump's presidential campaign, basically in the intelligence community's
03:28view, out of fear of pissing off the U.S., right? They wanted relations to remain stable, and so they
03:33ultimately decided not to act. Now, there was one senior intelligence official in particular candidacy,
03:38and he wanted to make sure that those views were included in the final intelligence community product.
03:43All of that back and forth was included in these documents that were released by the White House
03:48yesterday, and the president has been using those to argue. And then in the ultimate report that was
03:54issued in March of 2021, it explicitly said there was a dissenting opinion. This person believed that
04:00there was evidence to suggest that China was trying to undermine Trump. So is this kind of
04:04disagreement in the intelligence community unusual? It's a feature, not a brand. Very good context.

04:13Authorities in New York are investigating how a man slipped past security at 30 Rock and lunged at
04:19Today Show co-host Craig Melvin. The man is alleged to have done this and allegedly called Melvin a racial
04:25slur during that encounter yesterday, but was quickly taken into custody. Melvin briefly addressed the

06:13Now, an update on the story of that Blue Angels. Freedom sounds a lot like the cries of children with
06:19sand in their eyes. But nonetheless, here's how this reversal happened. After a Blue Angels spokesperson
06:24issued a public statement saying that the aircraft flew lower than Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth wrote on
06:30X, the flyovers will continue until morale improves, an indication that there may not actually be any
06:38consequences. It's a pattern that we've seen involving questionable incidents. Several South Carolina
06:43National Guard helicopter pilots were suspended earlier this month after flying low over a South Carolina
06:48beach only to have their suspensions lifted after Hegseth posted online.
