00:00Dylan, who's in for Al again this morning with a closer look at that forecast. Hi. Yeah, let's get
00:04into it. Good morning, guys. We do have still some residual rain up across New England, where we had
00:08a lot of rain yesterday. You can see a lot of the really heavy stuff, though, has moved out over
00:12the
00:13water. But let's go back through areas in Virginia with this red box here. That's a flash flood
00:18warning. Again, think of how much rain we saw yesterday. The ground is like a sponge. It's
00:22totally overloaded, so any additional rainfall kind of overflows, and that's why we end up with
00:28the flooding. So we have flood watches still in effect down through Virginia, also some flood
00:32watches through southeastern Massachusetts, where we had a lot of rain yesterday. Most of the heavy
00:36rain will now push farther to the south across Virginia, into North Carolina, into Delaware.
00:42We'll still see some residual showers across New England, but the heaviest of that rain, the
00:46torrential downpours, are expected a little farther south as this frontal system continues to travel to
00:51the south. Now, it doesn't look like much on this map here, but if you get some of those heavier
00:55downpours, you can see rainfall rates of one to two inches per hour. Again, on top of saturated
01:00ground, that leads to the flooding potential. The roadways fill up quickly, so if you're driving,
01:04you could run into some issues. This light blue area that includes parts of Pennsylvania, right
01:08down into Virginia and North Carolina, is where we have our best chance of seeing that potential
01:13flooding, with up to about three, maybe even four or five inches of rain possible in some areas.
01:18So another rainy day for the East Coast.
01:20Okay, Dylan, thank you.
01:21We turn to another check of the forecast.
01:23Well, we're trying to dry things out in the Northeast. In New York City, I think we're
01:26done with a heavier rain, maybe just some spotty showers. New England, too, but the heavy rain
01:30now pushes down into Virginia and the Carolinas. It's hot and humid in the Southeast with some
01:34spotty showers and storms. Some isolated storms across the Northern Plains, and that fire risk
01:39continues with the heat up into the triple digits out in the Southwest. That's a look at the
01:43weather across the country. We'll get to your local forecast in the next 30 seconds.
01:46The weather, Dylan, in for Al.
01:48Good morning again, guys. You know, we're getting a break from the heat in the Northeast,
01:51the clouds, the rain kind of helps with that, 60s and 70s, but you go farther into the Southeast,
01:56that's where the heat continues. Heat advisory is still in effect for about 9 million people. It's
01:59hot, it's humid, it feels like it's up into the triple digits. Raleigh will feel like 103 today,
02:05very steamy, and Charleston feels like 108. Nashville feels like 94. Little Rock, 98 degrees is your
02:10feels-like temperature. So this is what you need to prepare for. Drink lots of water, stay inside during
02:15the hottest part of the day, check on your neighbors, keep your pets in mind, too, because this heat,
02:20it's just hard to cool down your body temperature, and then that overheating becomes the biggest
02:25concern. So from Amarillo through Little Rock through Charlotte, temperatures staying well
02:28up into the 90s, your feels-like temperature's above 100 degrees. So that's going to be the
02:33trend all week. We also have spotty showers and storms. When it's hot and humid like this,
02:36you get those torrential tropical-like downpours around the severe storms possible across the
02:41northern plains. Out west, it is hot and very dry, so that fire risk continues, too. That's a look at
02:46the weather across the country. Now here's a morning with a look at where it all goes from here.
02:49Hey, guys. Well, you hope it goes down the drain, because this rain needs to go away,
02:54because every time we get more rain, it just causes the flooding, because the ground is
02:57totally saturated. We have more rain falling across New England, even some flood watches down
03:02through the southeast of Massachusetts and New England, where we will see additional rainfall
03:06today. But the front itself is going to continue to push to the south, so things will dry out and
03:12improve in the New York City area. But now the heavier rain is going to move down into Virginia
03:16and into North Carolina. And it is so, so humid down there, which means the air can hold a lot
03:22of
03:22moisture. So you get these downpours, and they could produce one to two inches of rain in a very
03:27short period of time. So when that water can't go anywhere in a very short period of time, it leads
03:31to the flooding. So if you are driving anywhere today, keep that in mind. When you get stuck in
03:36these heavier downpours, the roadways can fill up with water pretty quickly. This slight risk in light
03:40blue here, from Pennsylvania right down into northeastern North Carolina. That's where we
03:44have a slight risk of seeing that flooding potential, with an additional two to three,
03:50four inches of rain possible. But today, mainly down through Virginia and into North Carolina. So
03:55that's the area we'll be focusing on today. All right. Dylan, thank you. The U.S. men. So which
03:59security line do I go in? Nobody knows. Still confused yet. Nobody knows. It is hot in the southwest.
04:05We've got heat alerts for so many people, 19 million people under heat advisories or heat
04:10warnings, including the Grand Canyon, including L.A., Palm Springs. You stretch it over into Phoenix,
04:16Tucson, where we're seeing just extreme heat. Temperatures well up into the triple digits.
04:20Dangerous heat, so limit your time outdoors during the hottest part of the day. Las Vegas is 108.
04:25Going to Palm Springs, it's 112. Matching that in Yuma, Sedona, 101 degrees. And this is about
04:315 to 10 degrees above average, so warmer than you would expect this time of year. Palm Springs,
04:36Yuma, Phoenix, all around 113 to 114 degrees tomorrow. And the triple digits stick around
04:43throughout the rest of the weekend to the start of the weekend. Palm Springs drops to 109 on Saturday.
04:47That's, I guess, some relief. Phoenix stays up around 110 as we go into the weekend. Tucson,
04:52108, then eventually dropping down to 102. So hot is hot. That fire risk is real, too,
04:57because not only is it hot, but it's also dry. Some isolated, severe storms across the northern
05:01plains in the east coast. Still a bit unsettled. Lots of clouds around. Most of the heavier rain
05:05will be down through the mid-Atlantic today. That's what the weather across the country. Now,
05:09here's a peek. And don't forget, you can find us on the radio at Sirius XM Channel 108.
05:13All right, everybody ready to go? Yeah. Our fingers are crossed.
05:17Savannah didn't get the yellow memo today. You guys saw it recorded.
05:20Isn't that funny? You look at it. I know.
05:22Yellow underwear. But look at Craig, he's diplomatic. He's yellow and blue.
05:26Oh, that's right. What rogue. All right, guys, let's get to pop star tonight.
05:29So the greatest is going to premiere on Prime Video on November 4th.
05:33They have always been so protective of his legacy.
05:36Looking forward to it. Next time's Ella.
05:38Oh, wow. This is close. She's going to get that one.
05:41Yeah. Next time's Ella. I know.
05:43This is such an odd entertainment story.
05:46You remember he asked for this. This was his dream.
05:49This was his dream, and so he got...
05:50Oh, you want to get slapped. That's kind of the thing there.
05:54Is he filming something?
05:56It's maybe. It's got like a Borat sort of feel to it.
05:58Right? It's a little something odd.
06:00Jay-Z, the Grammy.
06:01That's going to be awesome.
06:02Like, I don't know anybody who's not going besides...
06:04That's my fifth time. Are you going?
06:06No, I... Well, Craig is.
06:08Craig, we're looking at you. Your new episode of Glass.
06:09That was just... By the way, that's just a little...
06:12Oh, no.
06:13Terry Bradshaw.
06:14Disruptor.
06:14I mean, it was...
06:16Off the rails.
06:17From the very beginning.
06:18Like, he talked about all of his wives.
06:21It was quite revealing.
06:22He always calls me Horse Girl because he saw me covering Royal Esca.
06:27He calls you Horse Girl?
06:28Oh, my God.
06:30And he's got his own line of bourbon, too, which...
06:33Are you all been to your show?
06:34The Horse Girl is better than just Horse Girl.
06:37So, I'm glad he qualified that.
06:39The Horse Girl.
06:40The Horse Girl.
06:40Yeah.
06:40Let me see, he's not half full or half empty.
06:42It's just all the way up.
06:43All the way up.
06:44Yeah, exactly.
06:44Full up.
06:45And crack.
06:46Horse Girl.
06:46I don't know how I feel about that.
06:48The Horse Girl.
06:49That's better.
06:50Yes.
06:50You're not the only one.
06:51Not Horse Face.
06:52We don't want to be described...
06:54Yeah.
06:54It's like, you don't want to be described...
06:56It's like, you don't want to be described as horsey or handsome.
06:57You know, you don't really want to be a handsome woman.
06:59That gets into Piggy territory.
07:01Oh, well, look.
07:03I'm just saying.
07:03Okay.
07:04Just ahead, guys.
07:05The Horse Girl.
07:06The Horse Girl.
07:06The Horse Girl.
07:06I did.
07:07I changed my outfit.
07:09I changed my outfit.
07:10I changed my outfit.
07:11I changed my outfit.
07:12You know what?
07:12I told her...
07:14I told her that on Tuesday we were yellow.
07:18So, from now on...
07:19Wait, I didn't know that rule.
07:20No.
07:21It's not a rule.
07:22We're starting it today.
07:23I promise you guys at home, this was not planned.
07:26No.
07:26I actually wore this in today and then just steamed it out.
07:29Carson, I've got a yellow top if you want to borrow one.
07:31I know.
07:31Carson, do you feel left out?
07:33I have another yellow dress.
07:35Have you ever...
07:36I don't have it.
07:37Do you want to borrow these pants?
07:38Do you want me to leave?
07:43We want you to wear yellow tomorrow.
07:45Yellow is my favorite color.

07:55I always say she's my paper doll.

07:59That was fun.
08:00All right, you guys.
08:00On the fourth hour, actor's name of the show.
08:03I didn't say it.
08:04And he's been cast in the upcoming season of the White Lotus.
08:08We have a lot to talk about.
08:08Is that on the Albertsons QR code?
08:11Love a callback.

08:16When did it become winter?
08:17It's cold.
08:17I'm really cold.
08:19It was like 100 last week.
08:20Remember, like 24 hours ago when it was so hot?
08:24Well, now it's not.
08:25And that's your latest forecast.
08:27And then there were two.
08:28Oh, no.
08:28Now three.
08:29By the way, what's your name again, birthday girl?
08:32Grace.
08:32Grace, where are you from?
08:33Columbus, Ohio.
08:35All right.
08:35Happy 60th birthday.

08:53I'm going to see your tie.
08:54I went right in your nutshell.
08:55It's yours now.
08:55Was it totally worth the scramble?
08:57Yeah, I think so.
08:58Look at it.
08:58I mean, look at it.
08:59You're all in yellow.

09:33Raise your hand if you're having a bull.
09:35Riley and Nurse Brooke.
09:37Here's an odd question, perhaps.
09:39With so many of the baby on my chest, it's just the pregnant at the same time.
09:44We've got an announcement.
09:45There are two.
09:46Bet you want to be in that room, huh?

09:53That's some room.
09:54I just love that they have each other.
09:55That's got to be the most special part of all of this.

10:37Thank you for being here.
10:38I mean, before we dig into the actual awards, for folks who don't understand the process,
10:42walk us through how you guys do it.
10:44How do you arrive at the world's best?
10:46And they make this known in our annual survey.
10:48So we've been doing this.
10:48Well, the people have spoken.
10:50So top of the list for a second year in a row, Santa Fe, it unseated Charlestadix.
10:54So if you go visit, there's a restaurant.
10:56Add it to the list.
10:57Light.
10:58It actually sounds lovely.

11:10You can step away and see this historic.
11:11If you've got your passport ready, let's go overseas.
11:14The island of Sardinia is making its...

11:19I think everyone says, I think I'm just going to move to Italy.
11:23Totally.

11:26Of course.
11:27So...
11:27I think it's a little different.
11:30No matter if you knew, Newark was probably a close second.
