00:00with a look at the weather. Hey, Dylan. Hey, good morning. It's a little chilly. A little bit. Yes.
00:04Yesterday, we had record-breaking lows all across the northeast. That arctic blast was pouring in
00:09that colder air from the north, and some of the lows that we saw yesterday, Springfield, Vermont,
00:1315 degrees. The old record was 18, 23. Yesterday morning in Boston, the old record was 24. New York,
00:2024 degrees. The old record was 28 degrees. Allentown, Pennsylvania, about 18 degrees yesterday
00:25morning. So currently, we're running still about 5 to 10 degrees below average. We are still looking
00:30at some scattered record low temperatures this morning, but as we go into this afternoon,
00:34we are going to see temps rebound back into the mid, even upper 40s. Washington, D.C., 48 won't feel
00:40so
00:40bad today. Let's look at the weather across the country. Now, here's a peek out your window.
00:44All right, Dylan and I are ready to whip through the highs and lows of the week. See, he's got
00:48politics down, too. You know, they got to come together. We were divided during the campaign,
00:52but now it's time to come together for Tenton Falls. And he did it the old-fashioned way. Just
00:56knocked on every door. And by the way, 93 years old. He looks great. Congratulations, sir. Our first
01:01low points for the landing, I guess. I've slipped getting out of a sand trap. I've never done the
01:07full-on back roll. I don't think so either, but they are, you know, one side can be very steep,
01:11so you have to sort of walk around. I like how many times we've been in them, that we have
01:15techniques
01:15for physically getting out of sand trap. I live in the sand. I'm proud of that. Our next seeing that,
01:20and again, just love seeing Steve Scalise in the halls of Congress. Thank God.
01:24Steve's smile on his face, too. Absolutely. Our final low goes to the poor dog.
01:28Actually wins. Well, you know, on the learning curve, does there come a moment where you go,
01:31oh, that's me? Or does that moment never come? I'm not sure. We'll have to see how this plays out.
01:36We'll check out his Instagram handle. Coming up next, a Sunday sit-down with Michelle Pfeiffer.
01:41Now with another look at the weather. Hey, Dale.
01:43I just watched Wonder Woman. How great is that movie? I can see what all the hype was about it.
01:47Yeah, it is. It's for real. It was a good, good movie.
01:48Let's take a look at what we can expect this week. It is pretty nasty in the Pacific Northwest.
01:52Heavy rain, also some mountain snow, very gusty winds. We could see gusts up to about 65 miles per
01:58hour. That storm will start to move into the Midwest as we get to the middle of the week,
02:02as another storm makes its way into the Pacific Northwest. It's dry Wednesday up and down the
02:06East Coast, but then by the end of the week, we'll see a spotty shower or two, and then even
02:09a
02:10wintry mix across parts of the upper Midwest. Let's look at the weather across the country.
02:13Now here's a peek. All right, Dylan, thank you very much. We'll see you in a bit.
02:16Next on Sunday today, Tom Brokaw's morning here on NBC.
02:19Wow, and it's a big week for Major League Baseball fans. The Cy Young and MVP awards will be handed
02:25out Wednesday and Thursday.
02:26For all your picks on those awards. I'm a Yankee fan, so I want Aaron Judge to win.
02:30Of course.
02:31I think Altuve will win, and he deserves it. He's great.
02:33We've got some nasty weather in parts of this country where our folks are trying to get
02:36a jump on Thanksgiving travel.
02:37I know, and if you are traveling, it is the middle of the country that's going to see the
02:41trouble spots today. But take a look at what we saw in Colorado, where we did have
02:45some snow falling in parts of southeast weather.
02:48Well, we've got the storm in the Midwest, but as we get closer to Thanksgiving, we're actually
02:52going to see some improvements as for travel weather, especially through the middle of
02:56the country. But let's start on Tuesday in the northwest, where we do have the potential
03:01of another strong storm making its way onshore. So if you're flying out of Seattle or Portland,
03:05you could run into some delays. Even over in the Boise and San Francisco, too, could see
03:09some of those delays as well. If you're traveling along the roads, mountain passes will be tricky
03:13because of the mountain snow, but the heavy rain and the gusty winds will make things very
03:18difficult on the roads as well. If you're traveling on Wednesday, still unsettled in the
03:21northwest, but ideal through most of the country. There will be some rain down through Florida
03:26and also a little bit of an icy mix, especially across northern New England. That will make the
03:31roads a little bit slippery. And then on Thanksgiving itself, still beautiful across the majority of
03:35the country. More wintry weather in the northwest, especially in the mountains, and we will see
03:39some storms down across Florida as well. That's a look at the weather across the country.
03:42Now here's a peek out your window. We're back on a Saturday morning with our month-long
03:46series, No Shave Today. This is good. This is a time to focus on men's health issues.
03:51I've been growing this thing out. It takes a lot of work for you. This is the most facial
03:55hair I've had actually in my entire life. Really? You've got like little, like red, or are those
04:00gray? Those are gray. Those are gray. Thanks, Dylan. With makeup on it. Yes. Thank you. Thank you so much.
04:04So in addition to No Shave November, we grew out the facial hair to raise awareness about
04:08cancer because so many cancer patients lose their hair. We also wanted to talk about an
04:13important issue that men sometimes don't want to talk about, and that is getting a prostate exam.
04:18The simple fact is that getting checked could very well save your life. So what did Craig, Matt,
04:23Al, and Carson do to raise awareness? Check it out. Get the check. I loved it. Our apologies to the
04:32tour
04:32groups that were in 30 Rockefeller that hopped out of the elevator and saw the four of us. Oh, that
04:36was in
04:37the building. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That's really, really, time well spent. Thank you. Get the check.
04:42Still to come on today, country star.
