00:00We all see the labels at the supermarket, low carb, reduced sugar, low fat, but what do the
00:06labels actually mean and which ones are best for you? So here to help us better understand what
00:10we're buying women. So how you know you are going for the best choice, you really have to know
00:14what your eating routine is like, your patterns, your health goals, your health concerns. If you're
00:19a diabetic, maybe you want to go for something more low carb. Maybe if you are trying to be more
00:23heart healthy, you want to be mindful of that, but understand, you know, your routine and what
00:29you've got going on. Make sure the food is nutrient dense. Does it have protein? Does it have fiber
00:33rich carbs? Does it have those healthy fats? And that's the best way. I think part of the packaging
00:38is good, but you always want to take a look at the ingredients. Read the packaging. Thank you.
00:43Valerie, thanks so much. And still to come, we're getting hands on when we...
00:46We're back now with our series Game On, and you've probably played rock, paper, scissors when you
00:51were a kid or even as an adult, but not like this. Our Brian Chung found out some people take
00:55that
00:56classic childhood competition very seriously. It's the most fair game on the planet.
01:01I would argue it's a sport. I mean, Al, I don't know if you agree. You got to stretch before
01:06you
01:06play. Look, rock, paper, scissors, the champ is here. The grind is real. Look, we met so many fun
01:14people out there. Again, people take this super seriously, but I hit them with the other thing about
01:18it. Yeah, what's up? Because this has been up for debate in our house. Is it, we say rock,
01:23paper, scissors, says shoot. The officials there, again, it was heavily refereed. They say, gotcha.
01:29Man! I thought he was going to do another rock. Oh. Okay, no, no, one more time. We got to
01:34break the side.
01:36Wow, he beat all three of us. We are wasting your talents. Have you...
01:40Mike Trout. You had rock. Is there history?
01:43Is there history? We cannot make her wait any longer.
01:46I did rock. I did rock. I did rock. Jane is taking her talents to the stage, starring in a
01:58new
01:58musical called Dear Everything, a musical uprising for the earth. Jane, good morning.
02:05And I thought it was so interesting when I heard for the young activists, the support that's going
02:10to it because there's tables set up. Folks can donate as well. Cash prizes to use climate focus.
02:16What was it about that? It just breaks my heart and I have children and destroy it. We're destroying
02:23our own life support system and it's chemicals into your water. Thank you. This is over, right?
02:30It goes so fast. It goes so fast. No, it's just getting started. It goes so bad.
02:34It's just getting started. Yeah. All right, well, next time you come back because I know you're going to be
02:38starry. Don't forget. Thank you. You can see Dear Everything, a musical uprising for the earth at the
02:43Brooklyn Academy of Music Wednesday, Earth Day. All right, just ahead, we are heading into
02:49prime road trip season and if you're dreaming of a long drive, some scenic stops maybe, we got some
02:55great ideas for you this morning. Listen, the reality is right now gas prices are still around
02:59$4 a gallon for most of the country, but you maintain this is still a decent time to take a
03:03road trip. It is. When you think about it from a group travel, family travel perspective, when you
03:07buy multiple plane tickets, it does add up to this and really see what it's going to cost you. So
03:12there's lots of resources to help keep your budget down. Okay, so let's start off in the south,
03:17the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's a gorgeous drive. Oh my gosh, you know, going down from Virginia to
03:22North Carolina, the Blue Ridge Parkway, that is really, it's known as America's favorite drive for a
03:26reason. You've got no billboards. East road trip, or if you can deal with the traffic,
03:31you can get from Boston to Philly. I know, the northeast court, this is sort of a rite of passage,
03:34particularly if you're on a family trip when you do the whole Revolutionary War history,
03:38with America 250 happening, right? So you've got people like, we've been in our own. That's right.
03:43Let's go out west, take us to South Dakota, Jeff. Rapid City, South Dakota, this is if you really want
03:48that national park experience because you're going to be, you know, Mount Rushmore.
03:51I sense a segment coming up, right? You've got to do it. There you go. Oh, now let's go west
03:56coast.
03:57Yes. Highway 1. I mean, that's kind of the icon, right? And it's great for a couple's getaway if
04:02you go from Monterey down. You need to take a road trip. I want to go on a road trip.
04:05Thank you.
04:06I do too. The main issue of travel and leave. That was fun. Tomorrow on the third hour of today,
04:10Kate Hudson. Enjoyed it so much.
