00:07Oh
00:31I own now
00:35Go into
00:41Lilies
00:42A day
00:47I found you
00:52Why you say
00:54You don't even want me
00:56My name is Maranike,
00:59Namastha Bhaktamanda deke,
01:01Armaran Virumuradikadai Sharanam.
01:43Yesterday, while I was singing Shri Radhe,
01:47I told you people you look like old people,
01:50but you are old, not look like.
01:54You see, old is in the mind.
01:59It doesn't mean that when you are old you can't have fun.
02:04And Bhagawan's name is the greatest of all fun that you can have.
02:12When you are singing the glory of the Lord,
02:15imagine you got a heart attack at that moment,
02:18you know how blessed you will be.
02:20The heaven, the gate of Vaikuntha just opens up in front of you, bow.
02:26And Shusha Shumati Radharani welcome you.
02:28Here come, you were chanting my name.
02:33But if you are,
02:34I am tired, I can't sing, I can't dance,
02:41then what would you achieve?
02:44Nothing.
02:46You know, Bhajan Bhatt we were singing earlier,
02:48you know, you see the path of bhakti is not a boring path, you know.
02:52But you see the mind of people very often make it become boring.
02:59It's a path of joy and happiness.
03:03Hasata na chata, you know, the darbara of Vithal.
03:06This is Vithal Dham, na?
03:09Vithal Dham is the place of Lord Vithala.
03:13Now where Bhagawan resides himself.
03:17You know, that's what this place is.
03:19You saw it last year.
03:21He gave clear proof of his presence here.
03:27The deity is there, lying in the box, waiting for the temple to be ready.
03:37But deity would not just come like that, na?
03:42Yesterday we were looking at Sri Vithala Giridhari Parabrahmani,
03:45the first deity of Vithala Giridhari and Parabrahmani,
03:50the Supreme Lord himself,
03:51all free in one is there, na?
03:58That will be put in the temple.
04:01Garuda is there.
04:03Hanumanji has already taken place, you see.
04:10So you see, this is all preparing yourself for Vaikanta.
04:17But you also have to do your part, na?
04:20If you don't do your part, you will never achieve anything.
04:26So, you see, yesterday I was telling to, I don't know, Vidya, no, no, no,
04:31Brinda, Brinda, yes, something.
04:33Vidya, Brinda, same thing.
04:38Name I am very bad at, no.
04:42Thanks, you know, God has not given me the opportunity to welcome the people to heaven,
04:47otherwise I would make big mistake.
04:51I will always take the wrong people.
04:56I will call the wrong person name.
05:00Example is Parantapa and Pankach.
05:04I get these two mixed up completely, very often.
05:07Sometimes we have one.
05:09Then it becomes Parampakach.
05:19You see, this is the most beautiful thing that God has given you,
05:23singing and dancing for His glory, you know.
05:30You know, yesterday I was telling Brinda, you know,
05:36when Tukaram used to sing bhajan,
05:39the bhajan would last till four, five o'clock in the morning.
05:44That was the intensivity of that bhajan, you know.
05:47There was not time to get tired.
05:50Chaitanya Mahaprabhu when he was singing and dancing,
05:52there was not time to get tired.
05:54Because you see, when you are singing the glory of Bhagawan,
05:57there is no time to get tired.
05:59There is no time to feel hungry or thirsty.
06:03Your mind has to be fully absorbed in Him.
06:08Your mind should not be diverted in many ways.
06:14You know, when you come to have darshan,
06:16you have to have that single-pointedness, you know.
06:19You have to have that focus upon whom you are having darshan.
06:23Then the darshan has its meaning, you know.
06:27But if you come, have darshan, I am very shy.
06:30Who is looking at me left, right?
06:33That is not darshan, huh?
06:36When Bhagawan is here, you know, your focus has to be on Him.
06:42Nobody else.
06:44That clear focus must be there.
06:48And that is darshan.
06:52When there is clarity into your mind,
06:56when you are looking at Him,
06:59you see only Him, you don't see anything else.
07:08Once, a lady used to go to the temple,
07:12every day, going to have darshan of Bhagawan every day.
07:18One day, he was very furious.
07:21Came to the temple and said to the pujari,
07:24Maharaj, today is the last day I am coming to have darshan of Bhagawan.
07:27He said, why? What happened to you? Converted or what?
07:31He said, no, I can't.
07:33When I come to have darshan of you in the temple,
07:38I am so distracted by so many...
07:40Not of you, of Bhagawan.
07:42Of course come having darshan of Bhagawan.
07:44So, I am so distracted by so many people are just gossiping around,
07:49people are just talking, what they will cook tonight.
07:53No, it is half menu.
07:55You take menu list from your neighbor.
07:58You don't have that problem here,
08:00because the kitchen cooks for you here,
08:01so you are lucky.
08:05So, it was busy, you know,
08:08everybody is busy on their phone,
08:10this you have here a lot.
08:12You know?
08:16There is nothing else to do.
08:20So, this was very distractive for that Mataji.
08:24So, he said to the Pujari,
08:26I am not coming again to have darshan.
08:28He said, oh please Mataji,
08:30please don't take this harsh decision so quickly like that,
08:35you know?
08:38Why are you so drastically taking decision?
08:41You know Mataji, you take decision very quickly,
08:43you are very fast in so many things, you know?
08:45Especially in decision.
08:49So, the Pujari said to her,
08:52do one thing my dear.
08:54He gave her a glass of water and said,
08:58go around, do a parakrama of the temple,
09:03and, but make sure that you don't drop one drop of water.
09:09Okay?
09:10So, she went all around,
09:14coming back.
09:15Pujari said, how was your parakrama?
09:17Very intense.
09:18I have never had such intense parakrama in my life.
09:23It was very intense.
09:25Why was it intense Mataji?
09:26But I was so focused.
09:28I was focused.
09:28But on whom were you focused?
09:31I was focused on the water.
09:34I didn't, did you drop any?
09:36No, I didn't drop because my focus was so strong.
09:39Did you notice that people were on their phone?
09:43No, I didn't notice that people were on the phone.
09:45Did you notice the gossiping around?
09:47No, I didn't notice that the gossiping around.
09:50Did you hear people chit-chatting?
09:53No, I didn't hear anything.
09:54Why?
09:55Because my focus was on the water.
10:02So they said, it's the same thing, you see.
10:07Nothing should distract you on your spiritual path, you know.
10:12Between you and Bhagawan, between you and your Lord,
10:16nothing should come in between.
10:21When you allowed anything to come in between,
10:25this is where the mind gets corrupt.
10:29This is when you get diverted.
10:31This is when you can't concentrate.
10:34Even your concentration becomes really shaky.
10:41This is when you get tired.
10:42Because you see, the tiredness, the amount of...
10:48When you start thinking, especially when you think negative things,
10:54judging, you know how much energy that your brain consumes?
11:00It's amazing.
11:02That's what tired you.
11:03That's why those who are seated in deep meditation,
11:08those who have that clear focus upon Bhagawan himself,
11:12they don't get tired.
11:13They don't have time to get tired.
11:14Because Bhagawan keeps them busy.
11:23So, that's why when you are here, you know,
11:29you have to engage yourself, even when you are in the world itself, you know,
11:33you have to engage yourself into your spiritual sadhana each moment of your life.
11:41Not only when you are sitting and meditating.
11:43No.
11:43In whatever you are doing, with which attitude you are doing what you are doing.
11:48Or you are doing in an attitude of serving Bhagawan in whatever.
11:52He don't put any, how say, telling you,
11:55yes, it's only like that you can serve me.
12:01You know, he said, do what you have to do.
12:03Chapter 3, verse 19 of Bhagavad Gita, he said to Arjun, you know,
12:07do whatever you are doing, but do it with non-attaching yourself.
12:12Because a non-attachment will bring you to the Supreme.
12:19But whatever we do, how is our attitude?
12:24We do it either out of fear, or we need to get recognition by others.
12:31You know, all the scientists, you know, they do everything, what do you have to do?
12:35To be approved.
12:37We do everything very often to get acknowledgement from others.
12:43Are we free? No, we are never free.
12:45We are always unhappy.
12:50Because our happiness depends upon the ideas of somebody else.
12:55That person's happiness depends on somebody else's ideas.
12:58Everybody is depending on each other's ideas to be happy.
13:02Then when would you be happy?
13:06You will never be happy.
13:08Because you don't give yourself the chance to be happy.
13:13Because you are always constantly thinking about others.
13:17How would the person view me?
13:19If I wear my tilak, I go to work.
13:21What would the person say?
13:22If I wear my dhoti, go to work.
13:24What would the person say?
13:25Of course it would be a shocking to them.
13:27But it is a good shocking.
13:29It will ask you, why are you dressed in such fancy clothes?
13:34You know?
13:35Then you can tell, look, this is my spiritual path.
13:40That person doesn't have anything to do with you.
13:43You are doing your job, they are doing their job.
13:45Just concentrate on doing your job properly.
13:47Fancy.
13:48Just be who you are.
13:53Be authentic.
13:56Not only when you come here to the ashram, you are dressed fancy.
14:00No, be fancy also outside.
14:03It's such a beautiful clothes you are wearing.
14:05Saris are such a beautiful clothes, you know?
14:08You can appear very sexy also with it, you know?
14:12So, dhoti also, you know?
14:18They will look at you more than having open clothes like that.
14:22That's what they do, you know?
14:24All the designers open the clothes completely for people to look at you.
14:28And people like to buying that.
14:29Why?
14:30Because they want people to see them.
14:32If you wear such nice beautiful clothes, they will see you.
14:40You know, you don't need acknowledgement of anybody.
14:46The most important thing is that whatever you are doing, you are doing for him.
14:50No, no.
14:50He should be in your mind.
14:53In the Ram Charita Ramana, there is a beautiful story, you know?
15:00Where...
15:09Valmiki, after writing the Ram Charita Ramanas, he brought it to Narada.
15:18Narada, Narada Muni, please tell me, what do you think of my manuscript?
15:24Huh?
15:26Narada, go for it.
15:30What?
15:31Very nice, my dear Valmiki.
15:34Beautiful.
15:35Beautiful.
15:39But...
15:40What but?
15:44It don't value the Ramayana of Hanuman.
15:48What?
15:49Hanuman wrote Ramayana?
15:53Yes.
15:55Yes.
15:58The Ramayana, which Hanuman has wrote, is much more beautiful.
16:07Valmiki, heart to heart attack.
16:10Stroke.
16:12I have to see that.
16:15So, he rushed quickly to where Hanumanji was.
16:20Hanumanji was in a plantain garden, you know, full of bananas, trees.
16:27So, as Valmiki entered, Valmiki saw on the plantain leaves, was written the Ramayana.
16:42So, he read all the Ramayana, how wonderful.
16:48The grammar, the moment, the way it is written, it was so artistically, so detailed.
16:56And that made him start to cry.
17:01So, he started crying.
17:04Hanumanji was around, hearing the waiting of Valmiki, rushed to the place.
17:09Pay his respect to Valmiki.
17:12And he said, Rishiji, why are you crying?
17:16He said, I read your Ramayana.
17:19Hanuman was...
17:20He said, is it that bad?
17:24He said, no.
17:26Opposite.
17:27He said, no.
17:27It is without any mistake.
17:32And it is full of divine nectar.
17:39But when I read it, my heart started burning and I'm crying because of that.
17:45But I'm also sad.
17:48So, your Ramayana is so amrit, pouring out, but no one will read my Ramayana.
17:59Hearing that Hanuman tears all the bananas, plantain leaves which he wrote the Ramayana upon, tear it into pieces.
18:12Valmiki was shocked.
18:13He said, why have you done such thing?
18:17You know, now it is lost completely.
18:20He said, no, my dear.
18:22Now people will read your Ramayana.
18:27That's why I did that, you know.
18:30Then he said to Valmiki, look, you wrote your Ramayana so that Valmiki may be remembered.
18:40Whereas I wrote my Ramayana so that I can remember my Lord Ram.
18:45Two big difference in the two.
18:48Both are Ramayana.
18:50One is based upon the acknowledgement of someone and the other one was the praising of the Lord.
19:06So, you see, Valmiki realized his mistake.
19:13Then I bowed down to Hanumanji.
19:16I said, yes, it's true.
19:18I needed acknowledgement from Narada and I needed, when I heard about yours, I felt really bad about it.
19:29Why should I need acknowledgement when my mind should be to unlock the mind, you know?
19:40So, this is the whole purpose of your spiritual power, to unlock that mindset which you have, that old mindset
19:47which have dragged you into this world.
19:50You know? To release you from that tentacle of the mind.
19:58That's what your focus has to be.
20:02That's where your mind has to be upon the Lord, whatever you are doing, wherever you are, you know.
20:10Do it. Have full trust.
20:17But, He is the doer behind you.
20:21If He don't give you strength, if He withdraws Himself from you, if the atma goes away from you, what
20:30will happen?
20:31Would you be alive? Would you be able to do anything?
20:33Nothing you will not do.
20:36Would you have any difference? No.
20:37Thus the body will be back again to nature.
20:45Do you think about that?
20:47If life departs from you now, three hours you start to rot.
20:53You start to stink.
20:57As long as life is inside, as long as one resides inside of you, there is full of energy.
21:05But yet, what do you think?
21:07I, I, I, my, my, my, my.
21:08When you don't perceive it is Him.
21:11Without His grace, without His presence inside of you, you are nothing.
21:17But just a heap of dust.
21:23That's what it is, you know.
21:31Bill Vamangal,
21:37who had a wonderful life.
21:41Same, Tulsidas, see,
21:45Goswami Tulsidas,
21:46had a wonderful life.
21:48They have their wife, they have their life, they have their traitors, you know.
21:55So, Bill Vamangal,
21:58Thakur when he
22:02start having wrong companion,
22:05companion, yes,
22:07association,
22:11he made
22:15connection
22:16to one
22:19entertainer girl
22:21by the name of Chintamani.
22:27So, now his life changed completely.
22:31That person who was very devoted
22:33to spirituality,
22:37to his parents,
22:38to his wife,
22:40house, and his work,
22:42the mind has become loose a bit.
22:45He start associating
22:48with Chintamani.
22:54Such association
22:56bring him down completely.
22:58He start letting go of everything.
23:00To the extent that when his father died,
23:02he didn't even go there
23:03to the funeral.
23:06When the service
23:07was done,
23:08the ceremony was done,
23:11he just did it and rushed,
23:12his mind was so attached to Chintamani.
23:16So his wife told him,
23:18please, be here, you know.
23:20So his wife went to Chintamani
23:22and said to Chintamani,
23:23please let him go
23:24for the shradh,
23:25for the funeral ceremony
23:27of his father.
23:29Then Chintamani said,
23:31but I never stop him.
23:32But Chintamani start to think,
23:34what am I doing?
23:37Is this life
23:40what God has given me for?
23:43No.
23:43There was a drastic change
23:46into her mind
23:50She said,
23:51from now on,
23:54not little by little,
23:57now on that precise moment
23:59I renounce everything.
24:02My aim is Krishna.
24:06Nothing else.
24:07I shall attain only Him.
24:10This life has been given to me.
24:13Yes, I have gone through that.
24:14Like everybody goes through so many things in life,
24:17yes.
24:18But yet,
24:19the aim is very important.
24:23If your aim is not clear,
24:25you will be diverted.
24:28So, she at that precise moment when
24:31Bilvamangal left,
24:32she said,
24:34I am done with that kind of life.
24:36My life is for Krishna,
24:38I will attain Him.
24:39I will have Him.
24:40I will do everything to have His darshan,
24:43nothing else.
24:44That is my purpose of life.
24:46To have His darshan,
24:47to have a glimpse of Him.
24:52Bilvamangal went there,
24:54returned back,
24:55it was very stormy weather.
24:57So, when he started running,
24:59his wife ran behind him,
25:00said,
25:00please don't go.
25:02So, it was stormy,
25:04the river was flooded.
25:06What he did?
25:09At night,
25:10complete darkness,
25:11there was no light at that time.
25:13No, no.
25:13So, he found,
25:15he was looking for a log of wood,
25:17he could not find a log of wood,
25:19but then he saw something floating.
25:21Not realizing that it was his wife itself,
25:23but have drowned,
25:25while running behind him,
25:27on her body,
25:28he crossed to the other side.
25:31So, he went back to Chintamani.
25:32Chintamani said,
25:33how?
25:33Are you fool and crazy
25:35to come this late of the night?
25:38How have you come here,
25:39up to my room?
25:41He said, well,
25:41there was a rope,
25:42I climbed up through the wall.
25:47I said, there was no rope.
25:48They went there,
25:49there was a snake.
25:51So, in the mind,
25:52when the mind is deluded,
25:55even a snake appeared to be what you want,
25:57you know?
25:58So, when the mind is deluded,
26:00you start to create certain fantasy inside your mind,
26:05but you start to believe into that fantasy.
26:08Then you go crazy.
26:11So, such was his craziness.
26:17He went there.
26:19Chintamani said,
26:21I have renounced that life.
26:23I am no more your Chintamani.
26:25I am the Chintamani of Lord Krishna.
26:29I belong to Him.
26:34And I will purify myself completely.
26:37And you should do the same thing.
26:43He said, no, no, no, I can't do that.
26:45You are my life.
26:48The...
26:48How say?
26:50Light of my eyes and so many things.
26:54Chintamani said, no.
26:56Done that life.
26:58He said, this is just the body, nothing else,
27:02which is made of elements,
27:04you know?
27:05It is made of flesh
27:08and bones,
27:10nothing else.
27:12He said, look,
27:14at that moment when Bilvamangal turned and saw her,
27:18he saw just a skeleton in front of him.
27:22He got so scared and frightened.
27:25He started to think,
27:27but life is not about that, you know?
27:29What is this?
27:31This is it?
27:32That's what I am?
27:34You know, in the Bible there is a beautiful story
27:38of the dance of the macabre.
27:43This free warrior,
27:45very proud upon their horse,
27:49writhing with great value,
27:52you know, running around.
27:54And as they were passing by,
27:56they saw free skeleton.
27:57The free skeleton was dancing.
28:01Seeing them,
28:03the skeleton said,
28:04look at you
28:05and look at us.
28:07Once we were like you,
28:09look how we are now,
28:10that's what you will become.
28:13But if you have not attained
28:15to something highest,
28:17life is finished.
28:21Life becomes useless completely.
28:26So,
28:27same thing,
28:29Chintavani,
28:30said to Bilvamangal.
28:33What is the use of this life?
28:36So,
28:37he started to reflect upon that.
28:39So then they went to the river,
28:41there was a big,
28:43uh,
28:47gathering there,
28:48they were wondering what it is.
28:50Then,
28:51they went,
28:52and they saw that it was the wife of,
28:55Bilvamangal,
28:56dead.
28:57Then he realized,
28:58that it was her body,
29:00that I took,
29:00to cross over.
29:04That guilt inside of him,
29:06throw him down,
29:07he start crying.
29:09So,
29:10again,
29:10being next to the body of his dead wife,
29:14he said to Chintavani,
29:16okay fine,
29:16you are going to renounce,
29:18let's renounce it together.
29:21We can be together,
29:22as renouncient.
29:26We can practice our sadhana together.
29:28Chintavani said,
29:29no way.
29:31You go your way,
29:32I go my way.
29:33If Krishna wants that we meet,
29:34we will meet again.
29:38So like that,
29:39years and years have passed,
29:41more than twenty years have passed.
29:46Meanwhile,
29:48he,
29:48Bilvamangal,
29:49went to an ashram,
29:50he lived in an ashram,
29:52he started to teach there,
29:55he become a very respected person,
29:58but one day,
29:59when he was asking for water,
30:05inside of his mind,
30:07because that mind is still deluded,
30:11the mind is still have fantasy,
30:14but as much as you feed the mind with the wrong thing,
30:18the mind will still catch up.
30:22Don't think that the mind has let go of you.
30:24You know?
30:25No, it doesn't.
30:28Bilvamangal,
30:29in his mind,
30:31was still Chintavani.
30:35So while that lady of the house was giving water to
30:40Bilvamangal,
30:42when he looked up,
30:43he saw the face of Chintavani,
30:45and he became crazy completely.
30:48He started running behind her,
30:52the lady ran quickly to her house,
30:56and said to her husband,
30:58there is a crazy man behind me,
30:59calling me,
30:59Chintavani,
31:00Chintavani,
31:00please save me from that man.
31:03Of course the man came out.
31:05But you see,
31:05in the Hindu tradition,
31:07what is the most beautiful thing about the Hindu tradition,
31:10it is,
31:10Atiti Devo Bhava.
31:13No?
31:14Guess when it comes to your house,
31:16it is God that has come to your house.
31:20He said,
31:21please,
31:22give me my Chintavani,
31:24I want her.
31:25I want to be with her.
31:27He said,
31:28but there is nobody called Chintavani here.
31:29So yes,
31:30she just went inside your house.
31:33He said,
31:34no, there is not Chintavani,
31:35that is my wife.
31:36He said,
31:37no, then give me your wife.
31:40He said,
31:40okay,
31:41take my wife,
31:43God has asked for the wife,
31:44here take.
31:47The very decent wife came,
31:51then this time when he looked up,
31:53he saw that it was not Chintavani,
31:54he realized his mistake.
31:57So he bowed down to her and asked for forgiveness.
32:00He said,
32:00mother please,
32:01you have hair pin,
32:02can you give me two of your hair pin?
32:05The lady said,
32:06okay, two hair pin,
32:06maybe as a blessing.
32:08Take it.
32:10give the two hair pin,
32:11the hair pin to Bilvamangal.
32:14Bilvamangal took the hair pin
32:16and
32:18plucked
32:19both of his eyes out.
32:25Better,
32:26that's what he said, no?
32:27It's better to have one eyes,
32:30what do you say?
32:33No eyes and enter the kingdom of heaven
32:36than having eyes
32:38going to hell.
32:39From the Bible.
32:42So,
32:45he plucked his eyes.
32:47The lady got shocked.
32:49So now it's a blind Bilvamangal
32:52going around.
32:53But his aim was to go to Vrindavan.
32:57So he walked,
32:58him
32:58asking everybody
33:00where is Vrindavan,
33:01everybody guide him
33:02in a certain direction.
33:03Finally,
33:04he didn't know where he was.
33:06So he arrived to a place
33:07where it was very calm.
33:09That time of Vrindavan,
33:1111th century,
33:12Vrindavan was a very calm place.
33:14Not like nowadays.
33:18Trees were everywhere.
33:20So he was asking,
33:21Am I in Vrindavan?
33:23Am I in Vrindavan?
33:25Am I in Vrindavan?
33:25So,
33:25he heard
33:28a shepherd
33:30said,
33:31Yes, my dear,
33:32you are calling for me.
33:34What do you want?
33:36He said,
33:36Am I in Vrindavan?
33:37He said,
33:37Yes, you are in Vrindavan.
33:39You are in the outskirt of Vrindavan.
33:44So,
33:45he was so happy,
33:47he bowed down into the
33:48the
33:52ground
33:52of Vrindavan.
33:54And
33:55said,
33:55How lucky you are,
33:56you are born in Vrindavan,
33:58you are Vraj,
33:59you know.
34:01He said,
34:01Really?
34:02No,
34:03we are not that lucky.
34:05What you are talking about?
34:06He said,
34:07Oh, you don't know the glory of Lord Krishna?
34:09He said,
34:09Of course we know this guy.
34:10He is a cheater,
34:11of course,
34:12we don't know him.
34:12You know.
34:14You know.
34:17And,
34:18of course,
34:19you know,
34:19we know him.
34:20He said,
34:21Okay,
34:21now what I am in Vrindavan,
34:22you are talking bad about this Krishna,
34:24I can't hear it,
34:25I will go.
34:27You see,
34:28Braj have a,
34:30that time,
34:31Brajvasi have a different mentality.
34:32For them,
34:33Krishna is a dear friend.
34:34They still cherish that friendship,
34:36you know,
34:39which they have built,
34:40you know,
34:41their descendant,
34:42their descendant,
34:43they have built with Lord Krishna.
34:48So,
34:50he said,
34:51Okay,
34:53guide me to Yamuna,
34:54I would like to take
34:56darshan of Yamuna.
34:58I said,
34:58Okay, fine,
34:58you go to Yamuna,
34:59I will prepare some things for you,
35:01to eat and drink.
35:03So,
35:04the shepherd went,
35:05and get some milk,
35:08and clothes,
35:09and other things for Bilvamangal.
35:12So, he said,
35:12Bilvamangal,
35:13from now on,
35:14I will serve you.
35:15I will come,
35:16and I will,
35:18look after you.
35:20That's what Bhagavan is,
35:21he is bhaktavatsal,
35:22he is the one which care,
35:24for his devotee.
35:28So, he went,
35:30every day,
35:31the shepherd will come,
35:33and bring milk,
35:34for Bilvamangal.
35:35So, one day,
35:36he built a small hut,
35:38for Bilvamangal,
35:39and,
35:39of course,
35:40Bilvamangal was very happy about it.
35:43But then,
35:44one day,
35:45he started to think,
35:49why am I missing this shepherd?
35:54Why am I feeling that same kind of love that I have for Krishna,
36:01and feeling the same kind of love for that shepherd?
36:04I don't know him,
36:05I never say name,
36:06I am blind.
36:09But yet,
36:10the feeling of my heart,
36:13my heart is talking to me.
36:15That is the truth,
36:17you know.
36:18It is not something in the mind,
36:20it is the feeling from the heart,
36:22it is not something from the intellect.
36:25It is not something that you have created.
36:28That is the feeling when you go on the spiritual path,
36:31you feel,
36:31when you meet your guru,
36:32you feel,
36:33when you meet somebody,
36:33but you have known,
36:35you feel that connection inside of your heart.
36:38And that connection can't be wrong.
36:42Because there is that deepness,
36:44the atma recognize something.
36:47Here the atma of Bilba Mangal,
36:48let's have to reveal himself,
36:50but the shepherd is nobody else,
36:52one Lord Krishna himself.
36:54The same kind of love that I have for Bhagavan,
36:58Krishna.
37:00And this is the same leela he is playing here.
37:03So next moment,
37:04when the next day,
37:06time,
37:08when the shepherd came,
37:09because he didn't come for a few days,
37:11after that he came,
37:12he said,
37:13why have you not come?
37:15He said,
37:16I was busy,
37:17you know,
37:18went far away,
37:19to go to Vardan to feed the cow.
37:27So now I came,
37:28so I will serve you again.
37:30So he grabbed his hand,
37:32and started smelling his hand.
37:36He said,
37:37you brought the cow,
37:38but you don't smell like a cow herd.
37:42You don't smell cow dung upon you.
37:48What you are smelling,
37:49you are smelling like Tulsi.
37:52Tell me who are you?
37:55I will not let go of your hand,
37:57until you reveal to me who you are.
38:05He said,
38:05no,
38:06what are you talking about,
38:08the shepherds said.
38:09You are crazy,
38:11you have lost your mind.
38:13I know that everybody,
38:14when you come to Vrindavan,
38:15they lost their heart,
38:16or their heart,
38:17they lost their mind.
38:19Their shoes.
38:20Their shoes also,
38:21their glasses,
38:21and everything nowadays,
38:23you lost.
38:23You can,
38:24the monkeys are very active there.
38:27So if you go to Vrindavan,
38:28please don't wear glasses,
38:31wear your contact lenses,
38:32it will help you better.
38:37So,
38:41he said,
38:41you have lost your mind.
38:43I said,
38:43no,
38:44I will not let you go.
38:46Of course,
38:46Bilvamangar was not a small person,
38:48he was very strong,
38:49he grabbed the hand of that shepherd,
38:51he would not let go of it.
38:53You know,
38:54and they said,
38:54oh,
38:56so seeing such adamant,
38:59Lord Krishna was so pleased with him,
39:01said, fine,
39:02you want to know who I am?
39:03I am that Lord,
39:05which you are talking about.
39:08He said,
39:09at that moment,
39:10Lord Krishna gave him,
39:12the eyesight.
39:15He saw in front of him,
39:17Bhagavan,
39:18in his shepherd form.
39:21And then Bhagavan appeared in his glorious form,
39:24with all his attributes,
39:26you know,
39:27standing in front of him,
39:29holding the pot of milk,
39:31which he brought for him.
39:34He was in bliss.
39:36This is the aim of life,
39:39my aim,
39:40my life itself has fulfilled.
39:42If Bilvamangar could have achieved that,
39:44why not?
39:45You know,
39:46from what he was,
39:47to where he is,
39:48you know.
39:51It's so beautiful.
39:53So,
39:55he,
39:57asked,
39:59Krishna asked him,
40:01said,
40:01I want to give you something,
40:02ask me anything I will give you.
40:05He said,
40:06what should I want?
40:07I don't want anything.
40:10My mind is fully satisfied with you.
40:16What I want,
40:17I want you to,
40:19the vision that you have given me,
40:20to take it away.
40:21That eyes who have corrupt me,
40:24now is uncorrupt,
40:26by your vision.
40:27I have had the vision of you.
40:30That eyes,
40:32is very dangerous,
40:33take it away.
40:36Same thing Surdas have said to Bhagawan,
40:39you know,
40:39when Bhagawan appeared in front of him.
40:42You know,
40:42Shrinathji appeared in front of him.
40:44He said,
40:45please,
40:45you have seen you,
40:46that is the glory of life itself.
40:48But now,
40:49I don't want,
40:50to see anything.
40:52What to see?
40:53This?
40:54These are all corrupt,
40:55things,
40:56you know.
40:57If you can't perceive Bhagawan,
40:59in his creation,
41:00these are all corrupt,
41:01nothing else.
41:03You know.
41:05So many times,
41:06people ask in Dhasana,
41:07what do you see?
41:08You know,
41:09they open their eyes big.
41:12What will I see in these,
41:15eyes?
41:16You know.
41:16There's nothing in your eyes.
41:19What I look,
41:19I look at your Atma.
41:21That immortal self,
41:23that parcel of Bhagawan,
41:24which is inside of you.
41:26That's what I see,
41:27inside of you.
41:29You know.
41:30So,
41:31same.
41:34That,
41:35what Bhilwa Mangal asked,
41:37please remove that eyes,
41:38you know.
41:39Remove the eyes,
41:40of perceiving only the limitation.
41:42Let me see your glory in everything.
41:45Let me be reminded of you,
41:47at all time.
41:52Such was,
41:53that,
41:54what he asked.
41:54Bhagawan,
41:55was pleased with him,
41:57and he took back again that sight.
41:59And,
42:00Bhilwa Mangal was absorbed into that bliss.
42:03Meanwhile,
42:04Chintamani,
42:05who was also,
42:07serving Bhagawan,
42:09in Brindavan,
42:10heard that,
42:11Bhilwa Mangal have,
42:12have had darshan,
42:14of,
42:15Lord Krishna.
42:18She came,
42:19to have darshan of,
42:21Bhilwa Mangal.
42:23So,
42:23as,
42:24she came to,
42:25Bhilwa Mangal,
42:25Bhilwa Mangal bowed down,
42:27to her.
42:29And,
42:30Bhilwa Mangal said,
42:32Gurudev,
42:35you are my guru,
42:36who have,
42:38brought me,
42:39upon the spiritual power.
42:41It is through your blessing,
42:42that I have had darshan of Krishna.
42:44If you have not reject me,
42:46I would have never had darshan of Krishna.
42:48If we would not reject,
42:50that mind,
42:51which is fully absorbed into the material reality,
42:54and attach it to Bhilwaan,
42:56we will never have his darshan.
42:59We will never know,
43:00what is,
43:01that supremacy of love itself.
43:09Chintamani,
43:11then,
43:12the,
43:12the pot of milk was there.
43:16He offered to her,
43:17he said,
43:18she said,
43:19no,
43:19I can't eat,
43:20the prasad,
43:21which Bhagavan has given you.
43:23This is for you,
43:24he has brought you.
43:25He is Bhaktavatsara,
43:26he is Deena Bandhu.
43:29That is the most wonderful word,
43:31the wonderful name,
43:33the most,
43:33one of my most wonderful names,
43:36that I love,
43:37is this Deena Bandhu.
43:39You know,
43:39the one,
43:40which loves,
43:42the fallen one,
43:43you know,
43:43the one who cares for the fallen one,
43:45for the destitute,
43:46for the,
43:46one which,
43:47everybody has renown,
43:49which have,
43:52rejected.
43:56So,
43:57Chintamani said,
43:58he is Deena Bandhu,
44:00you know,
44:00if he wants,
44:01he will come and give me.
44:03At that moment,
44:04Bhagavan appeared in front of her,
44:06with another pot,
44:07that here,
44:07you are the first guru of,
44:09uh,
44:10Bilvamangal.
44:12You,
44:13more than him,
44:15you deserve,
44:16that grace.
44:20So you see,
44:23life is like that,
44:25you know,
44:25Bilvamangal's life,
44:26your life,
44:29it is similar.
44:32But your goal has to be clear,
44:34like him,
44:35he has set his mind,
44:38upon,
44:39Bhagavan himself fully.
44:42When you go on the spiritual path,
44:44it's about that,
44:45the reminder.
44:48And that's what will bring,
44:49that,
44:50supreme,
44:51joy,
44:51into your life.
44:54When I see the bhaktas,
44:56the devotees,
44:57singing and dancing,
44:59you can see,
45:00a certain radiance on their face.
45:02And that radiance is not,
45:03a make-up.
45:06You know.
45:07It's not,
45:09a fakeness.
45:12When you are singing,
45:13Radhe, Radhe,
45:14you are singing Krishna,
45:15Vital Nam,
45:16you know.
45:16It's not just,
45:18a fakeness,
45:19you know.
45:20It is,
45:20that,
45:22bliss which is,
45:24trying to come out,
45:25from your faith,
45:26from,
45:26from,
45:27from your heart.
45:28Trying to consume your heart,
45:30but yet,
45:30your mind is still,
45:31of obstruction there.
45:34That,
45:35what is shining for,
45:36you know.
45:39And that is,
45:41the glory of a devotee,
45:43you know.
45:46That's why,
45:47it is said that,
45:47even God,
45:48becomes submitted,
45:50to,
45:51such devotee,
45:52you know.
45:56So,
45:59it's not,
46:01how see,
46:03it's not about,
46:04uh,
46:08saying,
46:08oh,
46:09I can't,
46:09I can't,
46:10I can't,
46:10I can't.
46:10No,
46:11like I said earlier,
46:13you don't need any validation,
46:15from anyone.
46:16You have to have,
46:18that,
46:19deep longing for him.
46:21But in that deep longing,
46:22you have to have a certain understanding,
46:24because very often,
46:26you see,
46:27without knowledge,
46:29of that,
46:30you have the experience,
46:31you don't have the knowledge,
46:32then you go become ungrounded.
46:35And this is the problem,
46:37very often people become,
46:40ungrounded.
46:40In fact,
46:40I have seen that so many,
46:42that's why I don't like too many people around.
46:46So,
46:46you have to be fully grounded.
46:49But one has put you here,
46:50to realize him,
46:51no, he has to put you flying around.
46:53No,
46:54you have to bring your mind,
46:55into that reality.
46:58You know,
46:58ground yourself.
47:00You know,
47:00that's why,
47:02I emphasize,
47:03lately,
47:04about educating yourself.
47:06You know.
47:06Feed your mind,
47:07with the right things.
47:09Otherwise,
47:10you will not,
47:10you will be fed,
47:11with so many other rubbish.
47:14You have that,
47:16potential,
47:17you have that grace,
47:19to be on this path.
47:22You know,
47:23let what,
47:24your heart,
47:26is,
47:26longing for,
47:28awake.
47:29Jai Gurudev.
