00:21In life, often we come to the point of asking ourselves, you know, what is the most important thing in
00:35life?
00:37But often it happens that for some reason we find ourselves being unhappy most of the time.
00:54And we ask ourselves, we are doing so much, but why still we are unhappy?
01:05We may have everything or we may not have everything, but yet that factor of being unhappy is very well
01:13present in our life.
01:15And we look for it also. You know, if everything goes well in our life, we don't appreciate it.
01:21We look for things to make us unhappy.
01:27Then we ask ourselves, why are we unhappy?
01:31There's only one fact. That is acceptance.
01:39Because we can't accept our life how it is.
01:47We always try to find things to make us happy.
01:55Even in the most complicated things, you know, we try to find happiness.
02:02In the most simple things we try to find happiness.
02:06But yet, with that happiness, you won't find it.
02:12Because you can't accept.
02:15If you will be able to accept life how it is, you will be happy.
02:27Yesterday we went to see these lovely children which I see here.
02:36They are also here.
02:41They remind me of so many things, you know.
02:45They are so happy.
02:50When you look at them, they don't have any worry.
02:55Why have you forgotten about that?
02:59Because you've grown up?
03:02Because your aim has changed?
03:06No, it's not about that.
03:08They are not just accepting the fact to see these children like that yesterday.
03:18They were happy.
03:19You know, how do you see people being so happy?
03:25In the simple things they find happiness.
03:29Why?
03:31Because they have accepted themselves.
03:39I was talking with somebody yesterday and the person was saying to me,
03:46what does he do every day?
03:47He just gives them a hug.
03:49Nothing else.
03:52And that has given them this confidence in their life.
03:57That self-configure that somebody is caring for them.
04:03Then they have come to the point of accepting.
04:08It's hard for their life.
04:12But nevertheless,
04:15that happiness I have not seen for a long time.
04:20Especially in spiritual people.
04:23Because they are so eager,
04:25longing for something that they don't know about.
04:30You know, they like beautiful worlds.
04:33You know?
04:34But yet, here is empty.
04:40If that is full,
04:43everything would be perfect.
04:48That's why one finds it very difficult.
04:53That's why I say,
04:54acceptance is very important in one's life.
04:59When we accept,
05:01even the most difficult thing
05:03becomes the most wonderful thing.
05:09when you adventure,
05:11let's say you are doing some adventurous things.
05:15No?
05:16It is difficult.
05:17Let's say you have to climb the Himalayas.
05:20No?
05:21The Mount Everest.
05:23Do you think it's an easy task?
05:25It is a very difficult task.
05:28But when you accept it,
05:31that difficult task becomes easy.
05:36Doing rafting,
05:38do you think it is an easy task?
05:41It is not.
05:42Any moment something can happen.
05:45So your heart is bumping,
05:46and there is so much fear inside,
05:49this adrenaline rush inside.
05:50But no,
05:52you accept it,
05:55then you become an adventure for you.
05:58Now,
05:59you are doing great adventure,
06:00because there is an adrenaline rush inside of you.
06:06So life is the same.
06:10If you learn to accept life,
06:14how it is,
06:14whatever God has given you first thing,
06:18you will see that life is such an easy task.
06:20beautiful adventure.
06:24And every moment of your life is not boring.
06:31Every moment is an adventure that you are living.
06:36And it is a love adventure,
06:39which is always bringing you closer to your goal.
06:44But you understand this only when you start to accept it,
06:49to embrace it.
06:52In the life of Sri Ramana Jacharya,
06:57there is a beautiful story.
07:01Sorry.
07:04He had one disciple over in Tiruvannamalai,
07:10in Tirupati.
07:11He wanted to visit the disciple.
07:15That's how he wanted to visit Tiruvannamalai.
07:17Yes.
07:19No,
07:20Yes.
07:20Yes.
07:21Yes.
07:23Yes.
07:25Yes.
07:27Yes.
07:28Can you ask what's up there, teacher?
07:30No, my dad wanted to visit Tirupati.
07:36So he sent a message to one of his disciples living there,
07:43a very rich man by the name of Yogeshwar.
07:48So when the man heard about that, he became so happy
07:54but he forgot even to treat the messenger in the right way.
08:00So he was so happy.
08:02But when Raman Yadacharya heard about that,
08:06the messenger was not treated in a nice way,
08:09was sent away even without giving water or anything.
08:16So he became very sad and he said,
08:18listen, I will not go to this Yogeshwar place.
08:25Instead, I will go to another disciple by Varadarajacharya's place.
08:32That man was a very simple, was not rich at all.
08:42So on the way he decided to go to Varadarajacharya's place unannounced.
08:54So arriving at the house of Varadarajacharya,
09:00his wife alone was there in the small hut.
09:06when the wife saw the Acharya is here,
09:12she could not contain her happiness.
09:16But Sri Raman Yadacharya have come to search a place,
09:23to her hut, you know.
09:26And her husband was not there.
09:28and the Acharya is asking for,
09:31they want to have Prashada at her house.
09:35So looking around, there was nothing in the house.
09:40There was no grocery in the house.
09:44What to do?
09:45Her husband is not there.
09:46and she wanted to feed the Acharya.
09:49And she wanted, she had to feed the Acharya.
09:54So she remembered,
09:57that in the next village,
10:00there is a grocer in the house.
10:05And that man is very interested in her.
10:09And that man wanted to have something from her.
10:17So having in the mindset,
10:18I will go to him and ask for the grocery.
10:24And later on, I will give him what he wants.
10:26So that sacrifice, she took upon herself.
10:31So she went to that village,
10:35and said to the grocer,
10:37please give me all this grocery,
10:41because I have to feed the Acharyas.
10:43I have to feed the Sadhus.
10:48Afterwards, I know very well what you want from me.
10:52Afterwards, I will come to you.
10:53And I will give you what you want.
11:02So, she sacrificed herself in that way,
11:06her dignity,
11:07for the Acharya.
11:10So she came,
11:11the grocer was very happy.
11:14She came home,
11:16with all the groceries,
11:18and she happily cooked the food,
11:21without even thinking anything.
11:24So she happily cooked the food,
11:26and happily served Sri Ramana Acharya.
11:34Meanwhile, the husband came.
11:37When the husband arrived,
11:39seeing the Acharya and his disciples,
11:44he was so happy.
11:48And then, a thought arises in his mind.
11:51He said, my dear wife,
11:53her name was Lakshmi.
11:55He said, how did you feed?
11:57How did you get all the groceries?
12:00To feed all these people?
12:03You know?
12:04Because there is nothing in the house.
12:10So, she took him by the side,
12:13and told everything to him.
12:18In place of getting angry with his wife,
12:22he saluted his wife,
12:25for what she had done.
12:31Nowadays, it would be completely different.
12:35So, she, he saluted his wife,
12:38praising his wife,
12:41for the decision she took.
12:43Not for herself.
12:44She didn't think about herself.
12:46She didn't think about
12:48his or her reputation.
12:51But, she thought about the service
12:53she can render to the Acharya.
12:58And that was the most important thing.
13:00It doesn't matter what she went,
13:02what she would go through.
13:05So,
13:10after some times,
13:12when they had the food and everything,
13:17Ramana Jaya got to know what had happened.
13:21and Sri Ramana Jaya said to the,
13:24to his disciples,
13:27Baradaracharya,
13:29said to him,
13:30listen,
13:31do one thing.
13:33Take this leftover from my food.
13:37Take the Charanamrita also.
13:40Give it to this person.
13:47The husband and wife went to the grocer,
13:51and gave the Charanamrita and the Mahaprasat.
13:54He said, this is Mahaprasat from our Guru.
13:57Have it.
13:58The moment he took the Mahaprasat,
14:02and the Charanamrita,
14:05and the Charanamrita,
14:05there was a complete change in his mind.
14:10So, that Kripa,
14:12that blessing, that grace which the Mahaprasat hold,
14:18was inside of him.
14:20So, he had instant realization.
14:25So, he bowed down
14:29to both of them,
14:32and circumulated them,
14:36saying, you are like my mother and father.
14:39How could I even think
14:43about anything negative like that?
14:47Please forgive me.
14:48He asked forgiveness,
14:49and he was sincere in his
14:53longing, you know.
14:56So, he said,
14:57please bring me to Ramanja Acharya.
14:59I have to ask him also for forgiveness,
15:01and I have to take shelter to him.
15:03So, he was brought to Ramanja Acharya.
15:07And when he, see,
15:09he was in front of Ramanja Acharya,
15:14he was just crying.
15:18And he fell down at the feet of
15:20Sri Ramanja Acharya,
15:22and asked for forgiveness.
15:25And Ramanja Acharya blessed him.
15:28At that same moment,
15:29he gave all his wealth to Ramanja Acharya.
15:33And Ramanja Acharya gave all the wealth to
15:36Varadharacharya.
15:38And Varadharacharya said,
15:40I don't want anything.
15:41My seva to you was the most important thing.
15:46And then, Ramanja Acharya praised Lakshmi
15:51for what decision she had taken.
15:56So, that acceptance of that moment was wonderful.
16:03And that acceptance of that moment,
16:05it doesn't matter what,
16:09I bring that grace upon them.
16:16So, grace can come in so many ways.
16:21Realization can come in so many ways.
16:27And the love of God,
16:29that's what attracts.
16:31The love for people,
16:34that's what attracts that grace.
16:37Because we can't love God if we don't love.
16:41And if we love God,
16:43we don't know Him.
16:47We love the concept of God.
16:53We love the ideas of God.
16:58But if you have not forged a relationship
17:01to get to know Him,
17:02that idea is only an idea.
17:05Then He don't reveal Himself.
17:07And very often,
17:09people just like the ideas only.
17:15when you love ideas,
17:17then you become very narrow-minded.
17:21You become very fanatic.
17:24Then you can't open.
17:26Then it's stuck here.
17:28You know?
17:29Only in the mind.
17:32This one gets empty.
17:34You don't have any feeling.
17:39But then,
17:40how can you see you are a human being?
17:44How can you see
17:45that you are on the spiritual path?
17:49You can't see.
17:50Because that path is a path of love.
17:55It's a path of relationship.
18:00is a path where you willingly give yourself.
18:07And that comes only when you can accept.
18:10If you can't accept how God has made you,
18:14how God has brought you here, how you are,
18:17it's very difficult.
18:19Because you always want to compare yourself with others.
18:23You always want to be better than others.
18:28You are perfect.
18:32When you realize that He loves you the way you are.
18:38You don't have any problem with you.
18:41But most problem you have with yourself.
18:46So learn to accept in life.
18:50Learn to accept yourself.
18:53Learn to accept what God has given you.
18:58Then you will be able to accept others also.
19:02Then you will be able to accept Him.
19:06Because when He comes,
19:07He will come differently from what you expect.
19:10When He reveals Himself,
19:11He will reveal Himself completely different
19:14of what you have inside of your mind.
19:19But this is the way of love.
19:22The acceptance of the respectful of how
19:27others see you or accept you.
19:31Learn to accept yourself how you are
19:34and learn to accept others how they are.
19:39and you will see that your life will become such an adventure
19:45that even the most terrible challenges
19:50will be easily overcome.
19:53Because it will become an adventure
19:56which you go through.
