00:00Here, again, it's a reminder that Brahmana Aparada
00:04is very important, you know, to bear in mind, you know, there he said,
00:08you know,
00:13Listen, O Gandharva, to what I tell you, I cannot tolerate an enemy of the Brahmanas.
00:21So, here Bhagawan Himself is saying to the Gandharva,
00:26you have to understand, those who offend a Brahmana,
00:32they are due to be cursed.
00:35Here, Brahman, again, I explained, Brahman is not only those priests.
00:40Of course, Brahman at that time and Brahman of nowadays time is two different kinds of Brahmanas.
00:46Brahmanas in the time of Bhagawan Krishna and Ram first and then Lord Krishna afterwards,
00:53they are those people who have fully surrendered their mind,
00:58which is fully absorbed in knowing the scriptures, knowing the Veda especially.
01:03Their mind is, they know the Veda throughout and due to that they understand the deeper meaning of life itself.
01:15For them, in the Brahmanas mind, there is no judgment, there is no criticism,
01:24there is no, how say, I or mind.
01:27They know that everyone is the soul, you know.
01:31A real Brahmana perceived that Atma which is inside of him is also the same Atma in everybody.
01:38Not the same Atma, but it is the same kind of Atma is in everyone,
01:44but of course with their own journey.
01:48And it is a parcel of the same Supreme Lord Himself which is in each one.
01:55So, that's what a Brahmana, because due to that state of Realization,
02:00they have already transformed themselves, you know.
02:04Why Bhagawan said, you know, Brahmanas are very important because they have,
02:08due to their transmutating this normal reality
02:12and being absorbed continuously in the remembrance of Bhagawan,
02:16they have transformed into Divine Being.
02:18You know, they reflect the four Vedas, and the four Vedas is Bhagawan Himself, no?
02:24There is no difference between the Veda and Him.
02:27He is Veda Purusha.
02:30So, that's what a Brahmana stands for.
02:35So, that's why He said, you know,
02:38those who hold that Spirit of God inside of them,
02:41I can't tolerate those who offend them, you know.
02:44You will see similar in the Bible, it says, I think there is a verse that says,
02:48you can offend the Father, you can offend the Son,
02:51but if you offend the Spirit, I will never forgive.
02:55So, you see, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Sriman Narayana dwells into these saints, you know.
03:02Brahmana are all these saints who have had direct vision, experience of Bhagawan Himself,
03:10and due to their relationship, because they have that deep relationship with the Lord,
03:15of course, the Lord can't tolerate if somebody offends them, you know.
03:20So, like that, you see, when you have a deeper understanding of a Brahmana,
03:26you will understand that not what you see on the outside,
03:32those who say, yes, I am a Brahmana from XYZ place,
03:36you have to give me money, all this stuff.
03:38No, no, no. Brahmana will not be about that, you know.
03:41When we look at Santukaram, even if he didn't even have a sense in his pocket, you know,
03:47but he will not, you know, go around
03:52saying, yes, I am a great devotee of the Lord, please give me.
03:55No, he will not do that, you know.
03:58Naturally, you see, the devotee will be drawn to help these Brahmanas.
04:04So, these are Brahmanas, which is reflecting the Lord Himself,
04:11who reflects that's the image of the Supreme Lord Himself, you know.
04:16That's why Bhagawan said, but can't tolerate those who offend my devotee, you know.
04:21So, he who without guile in thoughts, here you see,
04:26words and deeds, does service to the Brahmana,
04:31that very gods on earth, win over Brahma, Shiva, myself and all the other deities.
04:36Here he says, service to such devotee, you know, service to
04:43those who he is calling Brahman, those who is pure in their thoughts,
04:49you know, those who their words are for the benefit of humanity, you know,
04:56not to incur harm or pain in the heart of others,
05:00because these are demonic qualities, you know,
05:03and their deeds are always there to help the people.
05:07They forget about themselves completely, you know,
05:09and they do everything so that those people can transcend
05:21that material reality, you know,
05:24so that they can transcend that mind which stops them,
05:29that mind which is always creating problems,
05:32that mind which is adverse to Realization, you know.
05:37So, here he says,
05:39a Brahmana, those who serve such a saint which is fully absorbed,
05:45they are, they have win over Brahma, they have win over Lord Shiva,
05:50they have even win over Myself.
05:52Those who worship My devotee are dearest to Me.
05:55Those who worship the devotee of My devotee are dearest to Me,
05:58Lord Krishna said, no?
06:05So, here Bhagavan is explaining about a Brahmana,
06:10like I just explained to you.
06:11A Brahmana, he is carrying on explaining
06:16the grace which a Brahmana hold in them, you know.
06:23So, he, Sri Ram is explaining to the Gandharva,
06:31so saying, O Brahmana, even through Durvasa have cursed you,
06:38even if Durvasa beat you, if a Brahmana cursed you and beat you,
06:45even a saint speak harsh word to you,
06:49he is still worthy of Adoration.
06:53So declare the saints.
06:57A Brahmana must be respected through lacking in ability and virtue.
07:02He said, it doesn't matter how the Brahman is on the external, on the outside.
07:08That Brahman can appear crazy, can appear like a madman,
07:15but you don't know through which way he will give you that blessing.
07:22You know, you will see very often the saints, they will appear crazy.
07:29They will shout, you know, they will curse you, you know.
07:35They will push you away.
07:40They will appear filthy, dirty,
07:48so that they can impart that blessing without people knowing,
07:55because they don't long for the glory of people.
07:59But Bhagawan knows, that's it.
