01:58You are not happy.
02:01Flitting glories, you know,
02:05happiness is here today and tomorrow it is not there.

02:20In this world itself where do you see a grain of happiness?
02:27Even in the devotee's life happiness happens like a yo-yo.
02:32Depends on the mood, they keep changing.
02:38That means there is no such thing as true happiness here.

02:52But deep inside you are asking,
02:54how long would that happiness last?

03:14which kind of happiness Bhagavan is talking about
03:16when He is talking about happiness?
03:18He is talking about that blissful state of happiness

03:26you don't stay into that realm
03:29of being happy now,
03:31next moment not happy.

03:35throughout the day,
03:35fifteen times you change your mood.
03:37According to your thoughts,
03:39you keep changing.
03:44Happiness in the morning,
03:46in the evening you are depressed.

03:51Because the mind is affected.

04:43damsic happiness, rajasic happiness.
04:46So, atvic happiness is those mind
04:49which is absorbed in continuous remembering
04:52of Shri Hari.
04:55It doesn't mean that there will not be moments
04:58where sadness will not arise.
05:00Yes, but the mind is focused.
05:03The yogi's mind is like that.
05:06They perceive Bhagavan in his ultimorality,
05:12in everything.
05:13Then, tam-sic happiness
05:16is
05:18people which is
05:21greedy,
05:22look only for themselves,
05:25I shall be happy, nobody else shall be happy.
05:29I shall get everything.
05:30You see the greediness of the world everywhere in this world now.
05:34No?
05:34Look at the state of the world.
05:38It's a state of full greediness.
05:42So, the mind
05:43which is longing
05:44for happiness in that way,
05:47it is never enough.
05:51From
05:52hundred thousand they want one million,
05:54from one million they want ten million,
05:55from ten million they want hundred million,
05:56hundred million they want one billion,
05:58one billion they want trillion.
06:01Are they happy?
06:03No.
06:04Because
06:06that state of mind,
06:08because of that greediness,
06:11makes one never satisfied,
06:14never enough.
06:18Then you have rajasic happiness,
06:20which is just material happiness.
06:22Oh, I want a house, I want a car, I want a wife, I want a husband, I want children,
06:27I want this, I want that.
06:29Only material thinks.
06:31But they think,
06:32yes, I will be happy.
06:34But it doesn't last for long.
06:37You have it,
06:38you regret.
06:41You know,
06:42you want a beautiful car,
06:43the car got scratched,
06:44you get stressed.
06:44yes.
06:48You have a beautiful husband,
06:51no,
06:51the next husband is beautiful.
06:53I want the other one.
06:55How long does it last?
06:57Short.
06:58Because the mind is looking elsewhere.
07:01You can't fix the mind.
07:04In chapter
07:069, verse 34,
07:08Bhagat Gita Krishna said clearly,

07:48Know that I am the Supreme Lord.

07:56So beautifully described.
07:58Here Bhagavan didn't say
08:00that you can't have an aim in your life.
08:02He said yes,
08:04you can have the highest aim.

08:08I have placed you here
08:09for a reason.
08:11To attain to the highest aim
08:13of life,
08:15which is myself.
08:17That's what Bhagavan is saying to Krishna,
08:19to Arjuna.
08:20You know?
08:22So attain me,
08:23by any means.
08:25Utilize whatever I have given you.
08:27Use them.
08:30But focus upon me.
08:34Don't let your mind be
08:35diverted from me.
08:38That's why he said,
08:40fix your mind upon me.
08:46Fixing the mind,
08:49you know, our mind is chanchal.
08:52Our mind is always
08:54jumping like a monkey
08:56from one branch to the other,
08:57from one idea to the other.
09:00I have to do this,
09:01I have to do that,
09:02I will,
09:02if I do this,
09:03I will be very happy.
09:07And if you don't become,
09:09what happens?
09:09I will be miserable.
09:11It has to be like that.
09:14Bhagavan said, no,
09:15fix it upon the Supreme.
09:17Engage me in everything
09:18that you are doing.
09:20Do whatever you are doing,
09:21but remember me.
09:26Be devoted.
09:28Devoted then means,

09:33every moment of your life

09:39that you belong to Shri.

10:00The world gives a one-way relationship,

17:32like mirror by soul,
17:34but the Raidas was just like that.
17:36But the mirror,
17:37you see,
17:37the saint
17:38holds the greatest treasure.
17:40It's not what you see on the outside,
17:43you know.
17:44If your mind is not ready to comprehend
17:47the deepness of that,
17:50you will never comprehend.
17:53Even when Lord Krishna said to Arjuna about this
17:57free kind of happiness,
17:58but yet
17:59you listen,
18:01but yet
18:01very often
18:02you don't hear.
18:04You keep listening,
18:05listening,
18:06but you don't hear.
18:08Because
18:09hearing
18:10implies that
18:11a certain transformation
18:13must happen.
18:18So,
18:20you see,
18:21this is the engagement,
18:23you know.
18:24and then he said,
18:25bow down to me.
18:27Bowing down to me,
18:28yes,
18:28it doesn't mean that
18:29only here you come,

18:32it's a state of humility.

19:19They don't understand anything.
19:20but imagine the Western mind
19:22at that moment,

19:33Because if you don't understand

19:37where Bhagavan is saying,

19:51To bow down just like that,
19:54are they sure?
19:55It doesn't mean anything.
19:56But when sincerity
19:58are there,

20:04naturally.
20:05And Bhagavan says,
20:06know that
20:06I am the Supreme Lord.
20:10Supreme doesn't mean
20:11that I am the dictator,
20:12I am sitting there,
20:13you have to worship me,
20:14you know.
20:15It's not about that.
20:17You see?
20:18Knowing that
20:18I am the omnipresent
20:20in everything,
20:21even inside of you,
20:23without me,
20:25you will never
20:25be alive.
20:28without me,
20:29nothing will exist.
20:33And you shall come to me,
20:35you shall attain
20:36to that realization
20:39of perceiving me,
20:41knowing
20:42that I am
20:43at all times
20:45with you.
20:48So, that is the state
20:50of a devotee,
20:51actually,
20:52you will know,
20:53that state of
20:55that happiness
20:57which doesn't
20:58depend on
20:59anything.
21:01A happiness
21:03which doesn't say,
21:04I want the
21:05acknowledgement
21:06of anybody
21:06to be happy.
21:08No.
21:11He said, no,
21:12this happiness
21:13that I am giving you
21:14is that eternal happiness
21:16which will not
21:19leave you,
21:20even if you want.
21:21not.
21:21That's why the saint
21:22can challenge
21:24Bhagavan himself,
21:25you know,
21:26Santa
21:29Surdas.
21:30No,
21:31he said,
21:31you are so great,
21:33you know,
21:33everybody said,
21:33you are the Lord
21:34of the universe.
21:35I will acknowledge
21:36that you are the Lord
21:37of the universe
21:38only when you can

21:41love out of me.
21:44but Bhagavan can't.
21:47Bhagavan longs
21:48for that
21:49love.
21:52How can he?
21:54He is that
21:54love himself.
21:59And that love
22:00can't disappear.
22:01It's not like human
22:02love, you know,
22:03it's not like human
22:04always want this
22:05and want that
22:05and they are miserable
22:07and one moment
22:08they are happy
22:09five, ten minutes
22:10and later on
22:10they are not happy.

22:13No, it's not about that.

22:16once you find me
22:18I am in everything
22:21that you do.
22:22I am that love
22:23that you love
