00:08Om naknanam timirandashya jnanam jana shalakaya
00:14cakshuram elitamyena tasme shri gurave namha
00:22Yesterday while I was singing Shri Radhe, I told you people,
00:28you look like old people, well you are old, not look like.
00:35You see, old is in the mind.
00:39It doesn't mean that when you are old you can't have fun.
00:44And Bhagavan's name is the greatest of all fun that you can have, you know.
00:52When you are singing the glory of the Lord,
00:55imagine you got a heart attack at that moment.
00:58You know how blessed you will be?
01:00The heaven, the gate of Vaikuntha just opens up in front of you, bow.
01:06And Shusha Shumati Radharani welcome you.
01:08Here come, you were chanting my name.
01:13But if you are, oh, I'm tired, I can't sing, I can't dance,
01:21then what would you achieve?
01:24Nothing.
01:26You know, Bhajan Bhatt we were singing earlier, you know,
01:28you see the path of bhakti is not a boring path, you know.
01:32But you see the mind of people very often make it become boring.
01:39It's a path of joy and happiness.
01:43Hasata na chata, you know the darbara of vithal.
01:47This is vithal dham, na?
01:49Vithal dham is the place of Lord Vithala.
01:53Now where Bhagawan resides himself, you know.
01:58That's what this place is.
01:59You saw it last year.
02:01He gave clear proof of his presence here.
02:07The deity is there, lying in the box, waiting for the temple to be ready.
02:17But deity would not just come like that, no?
02:22Yesterday we were looking at Sri Vithala, Giridhari, Parabrahmani,
02:26the first deity of Vithala, Giridhari and Parabrahmani,
02:30the Supreme Lord himself, all three in one is there.
02:36You know.
02:38That will be put in the temple.
02:41Garuda is there.
02:43Hanumanji has already taken place, you see.
02:50So you see, this is all preparing yourself for Vaikuntha.
02:57But you also have to do your part, na?
03:00If you don't do your part, you will never achieve anything.
03:07So, you see, yesterday I was telling to, I don't know, Vidya?
03:11No?
03:11Vrindha, Vrindha, yes, something.
03:13Vrindha, Vrindha, same thing.
03:18Name I am very bad at.
03:22Thanks, you know, God has not given me the opportunity to welcome the people to heaven,
03:28even otherwise I will make big mistake.
03:31I will always take the wrong people.
03:35You have the book wrong.
03:36I will call the wrong person name.
03:40Example is Parantapa and Pankaj.
03:44I get these two mixed up completely, very often.
03:48Sometimes we are one.
03:59You see, this is the most beautiful thing that God has given you.
04:04Singing and dancing for His glory, you know.
04:10You know, yesterday I was telling Vrindha, you know,
04:16when Tukaram used to sing bhajan,
04:19the bhajan would last till 4, 5 o'clock in the morning.
04:24That was the intensivity of that bhajan, you know.
04:28There was no time to get tired.
04:30Chaitanya Mahaprabhu when he was singing and dancing,
04:33there was no time to get tired.
04:34Because you see, when you are singing the glory of Bhagawan,
04:37there is no time to get tired.
04:39There is no time to feel hungry or thirsty.
04:43Your mind has to be fully absorbed in Him.
04:49Your mind should not be diverted in many ways.
04:54You know, when you come to have darshan,
04:56you have to have that single pointedness, you know.
04:59You have to have that focus upon whom you are having darshan.
05:03Then the darshan has its meaning, you know.
05:07But if you come and have darshan,
05:09I am very shy.
05:10Who is looking at me left, right?
05:13That is not darshan, huh?
05:16When Bhagawan is here, you know,
05:18your focus has to be on Him.
05:22Nobody else.
05:24That clear focus must be there.
05:28And that is darshan.
05:32When there is clarity into your mind,
05:36when you are looking at Him,
05:40you see only Him.
05:41You don't see anything else.
05:45Once,
05:49a lady used to go to the temple,
05:52every day,
05:53going to have darshan of Bhagawan every day.
05:58One day,
05:59he was very furious.
06:01Came to the temple and said to the pujari,
06:04Maharaj, today is the last day I am coming to have darshan of Bhagawan.
06:07He said, why?
06:08What happened to you?
06:09Converted or what?
06:11He said, no, I can't.
06:13When I come to have darshan of you in the temple,
06:18I am so distracted by so many...
06:20Not of you, of Bhagawan.
06:22Of course, come have darshan of Bhagawan.
06:24So, I am so distracted by so many people
06:27are just gossiping around,
06:29people are just talking
06:31what they will cook tonight.
06:34No, they have menu.
06:35You take menu list from your neighbor.
06:38You don't have that problem here
06:40because the kitchen cooks for you here.
06:42You are lucky.
06:45So,
06:46it was busy, you know,
06:48everybody is busy on their phone.
06:50This you have here a lot.
06:56Nothing else to do.
07:00So, this was very distractive for that Mataji.
07:05So, he said to the pujari,
07:07I am not coming again to have darshan.
07:09He said, oh, please Mataji,
07:10please don't take this harsh decision
07:14so quickly like that, you know.
07:18Why are you so drastically taking darshan?
07:21You know Mataji, you take decision very quickly.
07:23You are very fast in so many things, you know.
07:25Especially in decision.
07:28So,
07:30the pujari said to him, to her,
07:32do one thing my dear.
07:34He gave her a glass of water
07:36and said,
07:38go around,
07:39do a parikrama
07:40of the temple
07:43and
07:44but make sure that you don't drop one drop of water.
07:49Okay?
07:50So, she went all around
07:54coming back.
07:55Pujari said, how was your parikrama?
07:57Very intense.
07:59Very intense.
07:59I have never had such intense parikrama in my life.
08:04It was very intense.
08:05Why was it intense Mataji?
08:07But I was so focused.
08:09But on whom were you focused?
08:11I was focused on the water.
08:14I didn't...
08:15Did you drop any?
08:16No, I didn't drop
08:17because my focus was so strong.
08:19Did you notice that people was on their phone?
08:22No,
08:23I didn't notice that people were on the phone.
08:26Did you notice the gossiping around?
08:28No,
08:28I didn't notice that the gossiping around.
08:30Did you hear people chit-chatting?
08:33No,
08:33I didn't hear anything.
08:35Why?
08:36Because my focus was
08:37on the water.
08:42So, they said,
08:43it's the same thing, you see.
08:47Nothing should distract you on your spiritual path,
08:51you know,
08:51between you and Bhagavan,
08:53between you and your Lord,
08:56nothing should come in between.
09:01When you allowed anything to come in between,
09:05this is where the mind gets corrupt.
09:09This is when you get diverted.
09:11This is when you can't concentrate.
09:15Even your concentration become
09:16really shaky.
09:21This is when you get tired.
09:23Because you see,
09:25the tiredness,
09:27the amount of,
09:29when you start thinking,
09:31especially when you think negative things,
09:34judging,
09:36you know how much energy
09:38that your brain consume?
09:41It's amazing.
09:42That's what tired you.
09:43That's why those who are seated in deep meditation,
09:48those who have that clear focus upon Bhagavan himself,
09:52they don't get tired.
09:53They don't have time to get tired.
09:55Because Bhagavan keeps them busy.
10:02You see.
10:02So,
10:04that's why when you are here,
10:07you know,
10:09you have to engage yourself,
10:11even when you are in the world itself,
10:13you know,
10:13you have to engage yourself
10:15into
10:17your spiritual sadhana
10:19each moment of your life.
10:21not only when you are sitting and meditating.
10:23No.
10:23In whatever you are doing,
10:25with which attitude you are doing,
10:28what you are doing.
10:29Or you are doing in an attitude of serving Bhagavan in whatever.
10:32He don't put any,
10:33how say,
10:34telling you,
10:35yes,
10:35it's only like that you can serve me.
10:41No, he said,
10:42do what you have to do.
10:43Chapter 3 verse 19 of Bhagavad Gita,
10:45he said to Arjun,
10:46you know,
10:47do
10:48whatever you are doing,
10:50but do it with non-attaching yourself.
10:52Because a non-attachment
10:53will bring you to the Supreme.
10:59But whatever we do,
11:01how is our attitude?
11:04Eh?
11:04We do it either out of fear,
11:07or we need to get recognition by others.
11:11You know,
11:12all the scientists,
11:13you know,
11:13they do everything,
11:14what do they have to do?
11:15To be approved.
11:17Eh?
11:18We do everything very often,
11:19to get acknowledgement from others.
11:23Are we free?
11:24No,
11:24we are never free.
11:25We are always unhappy.
11:30Because our happiness depends upon
11:32the ideas of somebody else.
11:35That person's happiness depends on somebody else's ideas.
11:38Everybody is depending on each other's ideas,
11:41to be happy.
11:43Then when would you be happy?
11:46You will never be happy.
11:48Because you don't give yourself the chance to be happy.
11:53Because you are always constantly thinking about others.
11:57How would the person view me?
11:59If I wear my tilak,
12:00I go to work,
12:01what would the person say?
12:02If I wear my dhoti,
12:03go to work,
12:04what would the person say?
12:05Of course it would be a shocking to them.
12:07But it is a good shocking.
12:09They will ask you,
12:11why are you dressed in such fancy clothes?
12:14You know?
12:15Then you can tell,
12:17look,
12:17this is my spiritual path.
12:21That person doesn't have anything to do with you.
12:23You are doing your job,
12:24they are doing their job.
12:25Just concentrate on doing your job properly.
12:29Just be who you are.
12:33Be authentic.
12:36Not only when you come here to the ashram,
12:39you are dressed fancy.
12:41No,
12:41be fancy also outside.
12:43It is such a beautiful clothes you are wearing.
12:45Saris are such a beautiful clothes,
12:47you know?
12:48You can appear very sexy also with it,
12:51you know?
12:52So,
12:53and dhoti also,
12:55you know?
12:58They will look at you more
12:59than having open clothes like that.
13:03That is what they do.
13:04You know?
13:04All the designers open the clothes completely
13:06for people to look at you.
13:08And people like buying that.
13:10Why?
13:10Because they want people to see them.
13:13If you wear such nice beautiful clothes,
13:15they will see you.
13:20You know?
13:21You don't need acknowledgement of anybody.
13:26The most important thing is that
13:27whatever you are doing,
13:28you are doing for him.
13:30You know?
13:30He should be in your mind.
13:34In the Ram Charitramans,
13:35there is a beautiful story,
13:37you know,
13:39where
13:48Valmiki,
13:50after
13:53writing the Ram Charitramans,
13:56he brought it to Narada.
13:59Narada Muni,
13:59please tell me
14:00what do you think of my manuscript?
14:04Huh?
14:06Narada,
14:07go for it.
14:10Very nice, my dear Valmiki.
14:13beautiful.
14:18But,
14:21what but?
14:24It don't value
14:26the Ramayana of Hanuman.
14:28What?
14:30Hanuman wrote Ramayana.
14:33Yes.
14:35The
14:39Ramayana which Hanuman has wrote
14:42is much more beautiful.
14:46Valmiki
14:49heart to heart attack.
14:50Stroke.
14:52I have to see that.
14:55So, he rushed quickly
14:57to where Hanumanji was.
15:00Hanumanji was in a plantain garden,
15:05you know, full of bananas, trees.
15:07So, as
15:08Valmiki
15:10entered,
15:13Valmiki
15:15saw,
15:16on the plantain leaves,
15:19was written
15:20the Ramayana.
15:23So, he read
15:24all the Ramayana,
15:26how wonderful,
15:28the grammar,
15:29the moment,
15:31the way it is written,
15:33it was so artistically,
15:35with so detail,
15:36and,
15:37that,
15:39make him start to cry.
15:41So, he start crying.
15:44Hanumanji was around,
15:46hearing the wailing of Valmiki,
15:48rushed to the place,
15:50pay his respect to Valmiki,
15:52and said,
15:53Rishiji,
15:55why are you crying?
15:56He said,
15:57I read your Ramayana.
15:59Hanuman was,
16:01is it that bad?
16:04He said,
16:05no,
16:06opposite.
16:07It is,
16:09without,
16:10any,
16:11mistake.
16:13And it is full of divine nectar.
16:19But when I read it,
16:21my heart started burning,
16:22and I'm crying because of that.
16:25But I'm also sad.
16:28So,
16:29your Ramayana is so,
16:32amrit,
16:34pouring out,
16:35that no one will read,
16:37my Ramayana.
16:40Hearing that Hanuman,
16:42tears all the bandanas,
16:45plantain leaves,
16:47which he has wrote the Ramayana upon,
16:48tear it into pieces.
16:52Valmiki was shocked.
16:53He said,
16:54why have you done such thing?
16:57You know,
16:58now it is lost completely.
17:01He said,
17:01no, my dear.
17:02Now,
17:03people will read,
17:04will read your Ramayana.
17:07That's why,
17:08I did that,
17:09you know.
17:10Then he said to Valmiki,
17:12look,
17:13you wrote,
17:15your Ramayana,
17:16so that Valmiki,
17:18may be remembered.
17:20Whereas,
17:21I wrote my Ramayana,
17:22so that I can remember my Lord Ram.
17:25Two big difference in the two.
17:28Both are Ramayana,
17:30one is based upon the
17:33acknowledgement
17:35of someone
17:36and the other one was
17:39the praising of
17:41the Lord.
17:42the Lord.
17:43Now,
17:46so,
17:47you see,
17:50Valmiki realized his mistake,
17:53and I bowed down to Hanumanji,
17:56and said,
17:57yes,
17:58it's true.
17:59I needed acknowledgement from Narada,
18:01and I needed,
18:02when I heard about yours,
18:04I felt really
18:05bad about it.
18:09why should I need acknowledgement,
18:12why should I need acknowledgement,
18:12when my mind should be to unknock the mind,
18:17no?
18:20So this is the whole purpose of your spiritual thought,
18:23to unknock that mindset which you have,
18:25that old mindset which have dragged you into this world,
18:30you know,
18:30to release you from that
18:32tentacle
18:34of the mind,
18:38that's what your focus have to be.
18:42That's where
18:43your mind have to be
18:45upon the Lord,
18:46whatever you are doing,
18:47wherever
18:48you are,
18:50you know,
18:50do it,
18:51have full trust.
18:56But,
18:58he
18:59is the doer
19:00behind you.
19:01If he don't give you
19:03strength,
19:06if he withdraws himself from you,
19:08if the atma goes away from you,
19:10what will happen?
19:11Would you be alive?
19:12Would you be able to do anything?
19:13Nothing,
19:14he will not do.
19:16Would you have any difference?
19:17No,
19:18thus the body will be back again to nature.
19:25Do you think about that?
19:27If life departs from you now,
19:30three hours,
19:31you start to rot.
19:33You start to stink.
19:37As long as life is inside,
19:39as long as one resides inside of you,
19:41that's full of energy.
19:44But yet,
19:46what do you think?
19:47I,
19:47I,
19:48I,
19:48my,
19:48my,
19:48my,
19:48when you don't perceive it is him,
19:51without his grace,
19:53without his presence inside of you,
19:56you are nothing,
19:58but just a heap of dust.
20:03that's what it is,
20:05you know.
20:12Bilvamangal,
20:16who had a wonderful life,
20:21same,
20:23Tulsidas ji,
20:25Goswami Tulsidas,
20:26had a wonderful life.
20:28They have their wife,
20:30they have their life,
20:30they have their,
20:31trade is,
20:32you know.
20:36So, Bilvamangal,
20:38Thakur,
20:39when he,
20:42start having wrong companion,
20:45the companion,
20:46yes,
20:47association,
20:52he made,
20:55connection
20:56to one,
21:00entertain a girl,
21:01by the name of,
21:03Chintamani.
21:07So,
21:08now his life changed completely,
21:11that person who was very devoted,
21:14to,
21:16spirituality,
21:17to his parents,
21:18to,
21:19his wife,
21:20house,
21:21and his work,
21:22the mind has,
21:23become loose a bit.
21:26He start associating,
21:28with,
21:29Chintamani.
21:34Such association,
21:36bring him down completely,
21:38he start letting go of everything.
21:40To the extent that when his father died,
21:42he didn't even go there,
21:44to,
21:44to the funeral.
21:46When the service,
21:48was done,
21:48the,
21:49ceremony,
21:50was done,
21:51he just did it,
21:52and rushed,
21:53his mind was so attached to,
21:55Chintamani.
21:57So his wife told him,
21:58please,
21:59be here,
22:00you know.
22:00So his wife went to Chintamani,
22:02and said to Chintamani,
22:03please,
22:03let him go,
22:04for the,
22:05for the,
22:06funeral ceremony,
22:08of the,
22:08of his father.
22:09Then Chintamani said,
22:11but I never stop him.
22:12But Chintamani start to think,
22:14what am I doing?
22:17Is this life,
22:19what God have given me for?
22:22No.
22:24There was a,
22:24drastic change,
22:26into her mind.
22:30She said,
22:31from now on,
22:34not little by little.
22:37Now,
22:38on that precise moment,
22:39I renounce everything.
22:42My,
22:43my,
22:44aim,
22:44is,
22:45Krishna.
22:46Nothing else.
22:48I shall attain,
22:49only him.
22:51This life,
22:51having given to me.
22:53Yes,
22:53I have gone through that.
22:55Like everybody goes through,
22:56so many things in life,
22:57yes.
22:58But yet,
22:59the aim,
23:00is very important.
23:03If your aim is not clear,
23:05you will be,
23:06you will be,
23:06diverted.
23:08So,
23:09she at that precise moment,
23:11Bilvamangal left,
23:13he said,
23:13she,
23:13she said,
23:14I am done with that kind of life.
23:16My life is for Krishna,
23:18I will attain him,
23:19I will have him,
23:20I will do everything,
23:22to have his darshan,
23:23nothing else.
23:24That is my purpose of life,
23:26to have his darshan,
23:27to have a glimpse of him.
23:32Bilvamangal went there,
23:34returned back,
23:35it was very stormy weather.
23:37So,
23:38when he start running,
23:39his wife run behind him,
23:40said,
23:40please don't go.
23:42So,
23:42it was stormy,
23:44the river was flooded.
23:46What he did?
23:49At night,
23:50complete darkness,
23:51there was no light at that time,
23:53you know.
23:53So,
23:54he found,
23:56he was looking for a log of wood,
23:57he could not find a log of wood,
23:59but then he saw something floating,
24:01not realizing that it was his wife itself,
24:04that had drowned,
24:05while running behind him,
24:08on her body,
24:09he crossed to the other side.
24:11So, he went back to Chintamini,
24:12Chintamini said,
24:13how,
24:14are you fool and crazy,
24:15to come this late of the night?
24:18How have you come here,
24:19up to my room?
24:21He said,
24:21well,
24:21there was a rope,
24:22I climb up through the wall.
24:27I said,
24:27there was no rope.
24:28They went there,
24:29there was a snake.
24:31So,
24:31in the mind,
24:32when the mind is deluded,
24:35even a snake appeared to be what you want,
24:38you know.
24:38So, when the mind is deluded,
24:41you start to create certain fantasy inside your mind,
24:45that you start to believe into that fantasy.
24:48Then you go crazy.
24:50So,
24:52such was his craziness.
24:57He went there.
25:00Chintamini said,
25:01I have renounced that life.
25:03I am no more your Chintamini.
25:05I am the Chintamini of Lord Krishna.
25:09I belong to him.
25:14And I will purify myself completely,
25:17and you should do the same thing.
25:23He said,
25:24no, no, no,
25:24I can't do that.
25:25You are my life.
25:27The,
25:29how say?
25:30Light of my eyes,
25:32and so many things.
25:34Chintamini said,
25:35no,
25:36done that life.
25:38He said,
25:39this
25:40is just the body,
25:41nothing else,
25:42which is made of elements,
25:44you know,
25:45it is made of flesh,
25:48and bones,
25:50nothing else.
25:53He said, look,
25:54at that moment when Bilvamangal turned and saw her,
25:58he saw just a skeleton in front of him.
26:02He got so scared and frightened.
26:05He started to think.
26:07But life is not about that,
26:09you know,
26:10it is,
26:10this is it?
26:12That is what I am?
26:14You know,
26:15in the Bible there is a beautiful story
26:18of the dance of the macabre.
26:23This free warrior,
26:25very proud upon their horse,
26:29writhing with great value,
26:32you know,
26:32running around.
26:34And as they were passing by,
26:36they saw a free skeleton.
26:38The free skeleton was dancing.
26:41Seeing them,
26:43the skeleton said,
26:44look at you,
26:46and look at us.
26:47Once we were like you,
26:49look how we are now,
26:50that's what you will become.
26:53But if you have not attained
26:55to something higher,
26:57life is finished.
27:01Life becomes useless completely.
27:06So,
27:07same thing Chintavani
27:10said to Bilvamangal,
27:12what the use of this life.
27:16So,
27:17he started to reflect upon that.
27:20So then they went to the river,
27:21there was a big,
27:23uh,
27:25uh,
27:25hanchal,
27:27gathering there,
27:28they was wondering what it is.
27:30Then,
27:31they went,
27:32and they saw that it was the wife of,
27:35Bilvamangal,
27:36dead.
27:37Then he realized that it was her body,
27:40that I took,
27:41to cross over.
27:44That guilt inside of him,
27:46throw him down,
27:47he started crying.
27:49So again,
27:50being next to the body of his dead wife,
27:54he said to Chintavani,
27:56okay fine,
27:57you are going to renounce,
27:58let's renounce it together.
28:01We can be together,
28:02as renouncient.
28:06We can practice our sadhana together.
28:08Chintavani said,
28:09no way.
28:11You go your way,
28:12I go my way.
28:13If Krishna wants that we meet,
28:15we will meet again.
28:17So like that,
28:19years and years have passed,
28:21more than twenty years have passed.
28:26Meanwhile,
28:27he,
28:28Bilvamangal,
28:29went to an ashram,
28:30he lived in an ashram,
28:32he started to teach there,
28:35he became a very respected person.
28:38But one day,
28:40when he was asking for water,
28:46inside of his mind,
28:48because that mind is still deluded,
28:51the mind is still have fantasy,
28:55but as much as you feed the mind,
28:57with the wrong thing,
28:58the mind will still catch up.
29:02Don't think that the mind has let go of you,
29:05you know,
29:05no it doesn't.
29:09Bilvamangal,
29:10in his mind,
29:11was still Chintavani.
29:15So while that lady of the house was giving water to,
29:20Bilvamangal,
29:22when he looked up,
29:23he saw the face of Chintavani,
29:25and he became crazy completely.
29:28He started running behind her,
29:32the lady ran quickly to her house,
29:36and said to her husband,
29:38there is a crazy man behind me,
29:39calling me Chintavani,
29:40Chintavani,
29:40please save me from that man.
29:43Of course the man came out.
29:45But you see,
29:45in the Hindu tradition,
29:47what is the most beautiful thing about the Hindu tradition,
29:50it is,
29:51Atiti Devo Bhava.
29:53No?
29:54Guess when it comes to your house,
29:56it is God,
29:58but I have come to your house.
30:00He said,
30:01please,
30:02give me my Chintavani,
30:04I want her.
30:05I want to be with her.
30:07He said,
30:08but there is nobody called Chintavani here.
30:10So yes,
30:11she just went inside your house.
30:13He said,
30:14no there is not Chintavani,
30:15that's my wife.
30:17He said,
30:17no,
30:17then I give me your wife.
30:20He said,
30:20okay,
30:22take my wife,
30:23God has asked for the wife,
30:24here take.
30:27The very decent wife came,
30:30he said,
30:32then this time when he looked up,
30:33he saw that it was not Chintavani,
30:34he realized his mistake.
30:37So he bowed down to her,
30:39and asked for forgiveness.
30:40He said,
30:40mother,
30:41you have hairpins,
30:42can you give me two of your hairpins?
30:45The lady said,
30:46okay,
30:46two hairpins may be as a blessing,
30:48take it,
30:50give the hairpins to Bilvamangal.
30:55Bilvamangal took the hairpins,
30:56and plucked both of his eyes out.
31:01not.
31:05Better,
31:06that's what he said,
31:07no?
31:08It's better to have one eyes,
31:11what do you say?
31:13No eyes,
31:14and enter the kingdom of heaven,
31:16than having eyes,
31:18going to hell.
31:20This is from the Bible.
31:22So,
31:25he plucked his eyes.
31:28The lady got shocked.
31:29So now it's a blind Bilvamangal,
31:32going around.
31:33But his aim was to go to Vrindavan.
31:37So he walked,
31:38him,
31:39asking everybody,
31:40where is Vrindavan?
31:41Everybody guide him in a certain direction.
31:43Finally he didn't know where he was.
31:46So he arrived to a place,
31:48where it was very calm.
31:49That time of Vrindavan,
31:5111th century,
31:52Vrindavan was a very calm place,
31:54you know.
31:55Not like nowadays.
31:58Trees were everywhere.
32:01So he was asking,
32:02am I in Vrindavan?
32:03Am I in Vrindavan?
32:05So he heard,
32:08a shepherd,
32:10said,
32:11yes my dear,
32:12you are calling for me,
32:14what do you want?
32:16He said, am I in Vrindavan?
32:17He said, yes you are in Vrindavan.
32:19You are in the outskirt of Vrindavan.
32:24So,
32:26he was so happy,
32:27he bowed down into the,
32:29the,
32:32ground,
32:33of Vrindavan,
32:34and,
32:35how lucky you are,
32:36you are born in Vrindavan,
32:38you are, you are Vraj,
32:39you know.
32:41I said, really?
32:42No,
32:43we are not that lucky.
32:45What you are talking about?
32:46He said,
32:47oh,
32:47you don't know the glory of Lord Krishna?
32:48He said,
32:49of course we know this guy,
32:51he is a cheater,
32:51of course,
32:52we don't know him,
32:53you know.
32:57And,
32:58of course,
32:59you know,
32:59we know him.
33:00He said,
33:01okay,
33:01now what I am in Vrindavan,
33:02you are talking bad about this Krishna,
33:04I can't hear it,
33:05I will go.
33:07You see,
33:09Braj have a,
33:10that time,
33:11Brajvasi have a different mentality.
33:12For them,
33:13Krishna is a dear friend,
33:14they still cherish that friendship,
33:17you know.
33:19which they have built,
33:20you know,
33:21their descendant,
33:22their descendant,
33:23they have built with Lord Krishna.
33:28So,
33:30he said,
33:31okay,
33:33guide me to Yamuna,
33:34I would like to take
33:37darshan of Yamuna.
33:38I said,
33:38okay, fine,
33:38you go to Yamuna,
33:39I will prepare some things for you,
33:41to drink,
33:41to eat and drink.
33:43So,
33:44the shepherd went
33:45and get some milk,
33:48and clothes,
33:49and,
33:49and,
33:50other things for,
33:51for Bilvamangal.
33:52So,
33:52he said,
33:53Bilvamangal,
33:53from now on,
33:54I will serve you,
33:55I will come,
33:56and I will,
33:58look after you.
34:00That's what Bhagawan is,
34:01he is Bhakta Vatsal,
34:02no,
34:03he is the one which care,
34:04for his devotee.
34:08So,
34:08he went,
34:10every day,
34:11every day,
34:12the shepherd would come,
34:13and,
34:14bring milk,
34:15for Bilvamangal.
34:16So, one day,
34:16he built a small hut,
34:17for Bilvamangal,
34:19and,
34:20of course,
34:20Bilvamangal was very happy about it.
34:23But then,
34:24one day,
34:25he started to think,
34:29why am I,
34:31missing,
34:32this shepherd?
34:34Why am I,
34:35feeling,
34:36that same kind of love,
34:38that I have for,
34:39Krishna,
34:41I am feeling,
34:42the same kind of love,
34:43for that shepherd?
34:45I don't know him,
34:45I never say name,
34:46I am blind.
34:49But yet,
34:50the feeling,
34:52of my heart,
34:53my heart is talking to me.
34:56That is the truth,
34:57you know.
34:58It is not something,
35:00in the mind,
35:01it is the feeling,
35:01from the heart,
35:02it is not something,
35:03that you are,
35:03from the intellect.
35:05It is not something,
35:06that you have created.
35:08That is the feeling,
35:10when you go on the spiritual path,
35:11you feel,
35:11when you meet your guru,
35:12you feel,
35:13when you meet somebody,
35:13but,
35:14you have known,
35:15you feel that connection,
35:16inside of your heart.
35:18And that connection,
35:19can't be,
35:20wrong.
35:22Because,
35:23there is that deepness,
35:24the atma,
35:26recognises something.
35:27Here,
35:27the atma,
35:28Bilvamangal,
35:29has revealed himself,
35:30but the shepherd is nobody else,
35:32one Lord Krishna himself.
35:34The same kind of love,
35:35that I have for,
35:37Bhagavan,
35:38Krishna,
35:40and this is the same Leela,
35:42he is playing here.
35:43So, next moment,
35:44when the,
35:45the next day,
35:46time,
35:48when the shepherd came,
35:49because he didn't come for a few days,
35:51after that,
35:52he came,
35:53he said,
35:53why have you not come?
35:55He said,
35:56I was busy,
35:57you know,
35:58went far away,
35:59to go Vardan,
36:00to feed the,
36:02the cow.
36:07So,
36:08now I came,
36:09so I will serve you again.
36:10So,
36:11he grabbed his hand,
36:12and,
36:13and started smelling his hand.
36:16He said,
36:17you brought the cow,
36:19but you don't smell,
36:20like a cow herd.
36:22You don't smell,
36:24cow dung,
36:26upon you.
36:28What you are smelling,
36:29you are smelling like Tulsi.
36:32Tell me,
36:33who are you?
36:35I will not let go of your hand,
36:37until you reveal to me,
36:39who you are.
36:45He said,
36:46no,
36:46what are you talking about,
36:48the shepherds said.
36:49You are crazy,
36:51you have lost your mind.
36:53I know,
36:54but everybody,
36:55when you come to Vrindavan,
36:55they lost their heart,
36:56or their,
36:57they lost their mind,
37:00their shoes also,
37:01their glasses,
37:02and everything,
37:02nowadays you lost.
37:04You can,
37:05the monkeys are very active there.
37:07So,
37:08if you go to Vrindavan,
37:08you don't wear glasses,
37:12wear your contact lenses,
37:13it will help you better.
37:17So,
37:21he said, you have lost your mind.
37:23I said, no,
37:24I would not let you go.
37:26Of course,
37:26Bilvamangal was not a small person,
37:28he was very strong,
37:29he grabbed the hand of that shepherd,
37:31and would not let go of it.
37:33You know,
37:34and they said,
37:35oh.
37:36So,
37:37seeing such element,
37:39Lord Krishna was so pleased with him,
37:41he said,
37:41fine,
37:42you want to know who I am?
37:43I am that Lord,
37:46which you are talking about.
37:48He said,
37:49at that moment,
37:50Lord Krishna gave him
37:53the eyesight.
37:56He saw in front of him,
37:57Bhagavan,
37:58in his shepherd form.
38:01And then Bhagavan appeared in his glorious form,
38:04with all his attributes,
38:06you know.
38:08Standing in front of him,
38:09holding the pot of milk,
38:11which he brought for him.
38:14He was in bliss.
38:15This is the aim of life,
38:19my aim,
38:20my life itself has fulfilled.
38:22If Bilvamangal could have achieved that,
38:25why not?
38:26You know,
38:26from what he was
38:27to where he is,
38:29you know.
38:31It's so beautiful.
38:33So,
38:35he
38:37asked,
38:39Krishna asked him,
38:41that,
38:41I want to give you something,
38:42ask me anything I will give you.
38:45He said,
38:46what should I want?
38:47I don't want anything.
38:50My mind is fully satisfied with you.
38:56What I want,
38:57I want you to,
38:59the vision that you have given me,
39:00to take it away.
39:01That eyes who have corrupt me,
39:04now is uncorrupt,
39:06by your vision.
39:07I have,
39:08have the vision of you.
39:10That eyes,
39:12is very dangerous,
39:13take it away.
39:16Same thing,
39:17Surdas have said to Bhagavan,
39:19you know,
39:19when Bhagavan appeared in front of him.
39:22You know,
39:23Shrinathji appeared in front of him.
39:24He said,
39:25please,
39:25you have seen you,
39:26that is the glory of life itself.
39:29But now,
39:30I don't want,
39:30to see anything.
39:32What to see?
39:33This?
39:34These are all corrupt things,
39:36you know.
39:37If you can't perceive Bhagavan,
39:39in his creation,
39:40these are all corrupt,
39:42nothing else.
39:43You know.
39:45So many times,
39:46people are asking,
39:47Dhasana,
39:47what do you see?
39:48They open their eyes big.
39:50You know.
39:53What will I see in these eyes?
39:56You know.
39:57There is nothing in your eyes.
39:59What I look,
40:00I look at your Atma.
40:01That immortal self,
40:03that parcel of the one,
40:05which is inside of you,
40:06that's what I see,
40:07inside of you.
40:09You know.
40:10So,
40:12same.
40:15That,
40:16what Bhirva Mangal asked,
40:17please remove that eyes,
40:19you know.
40:19Remove the eyes,
40:20of perceiving only the limitation.
40:23Let me see your glory in everything.
40:25Let me be reminded of you,
40:28at all time.
40:32such was,
40:33that,
40:34what he asked.
40:35Bhagavan,
40:35was pleased with him,
40:37and he took back again that sight.
40:40And,
40:40Bhirva Mangal was absorbed into that bliss.
40:43Meanwhile,
40:44Chintamani,
40:45who was also,
40:47serving Bhagavan,
40:49in Brindavan,
40:50heard that,
40:51Bhirva Mangal have had darshan,
40:54of,
40:55Lord Krishna.
40:58She came,
40:59to have darshan,
41:01of,
41:01Bhirva Mangal.
41:03So,
41:03as,
41:04she came to Bhirva Mangal,
41:06Bhirva Mangal bowed down,
41:07to her.
41:09And Bhirva Mangal said,
41:12Gurudev,
41:15you are my guru,
41:16who have,
41:18brought me,
41:19upon the spiritual power.
41:21It is through your blessing,
41:22but I have had darshan of Krishna.
41:24If you have not reject me,
41:26I will have never had darshan of Krishna.
41:28If we don't reject,
41:30that mind,
41:31which is fully absorbed into the material reality,
41:34and attach it to Bhirvan,
41:36we will never have his darshan.
41:39We will never know,
41:40what is,
41:41that supremacy of love itself.
41:50Chintamani said,
41:51then,
41:52the,
41:52the pot of milk was there,
41:56he offered to her,
41:58he said,
41:58she said,
41:59no,
41:59I can't eat,
42:00the prasad which Bhagawan has given you.
42:03This is for you,
42:04he has brought you.
42:05He is Bhaktavatsara,
42:06he is Deena Bandhu.
42:09That is the most wonderful word,
42:12the wonderful name,
42:13the most,
42:14one of my most wonderful name,
42:16that I love,
42:17is this Deena Bandhu.
42:19You know,
42:19the one,
42:20which loves,
42:21the fallen one,
42:23you know,
42:23the one who cares for the fallen one,
42:25for the destitute,
42:26for the,
42:26one which everybody have renown,
42:29which have,
42:32rejected.
42:36So,
42:38Chintamani said,
42:39he is Deena Bandhu,
42:40you know,
42:41if he wants,
42:42he will come and give me.
42:43At that moment,
42:44Bhagawan appeared in front of her,
42:46with another portrait,
42:47here,
42:47you are the first guru of,
42:51Bilvamangal,
42:52you,
42:53more than him,
42:55you deserve,
42:57that grace.
43:00So, you see,
43:03life is like that,
43:04you know,
43:05Bilvamangal's life,
43:06your life,
43:09it is similar.
43:12But your goal have to be clear,
43:15like him,
43:15he have set his mind,
43:18upon,
43:19Bhagawan himself fully.
43:22When you go on the spiritual path,
43:24it's about that,
43:25the reminder.
43:28and that's what will bring,
43:29that,
43:30supreme joy,
43:32into your life.
43:35When I see the bhaktas,
43:36the devotees,
43:37singing and dancing,
43:39you can see,
43:40a certain radiance,
43:41on their face.
43:42And that radiance,
43:43is not,
43:44a makeup.
43:46You know.
43:47It's not,
43:49a fakeness.
43:52When you are singing,
43:53Radhe, Radhe,
43:54you are singing Krishna,
43:55Bittal Naam,
43:56you know.
43:57It's not,
43:57just,
43:58a fakeness,
43:59you know.
44:00It is,
44:01that,
44:02bliss,
44:02which is,
44:04trying to come out,
44:05from your faith,
44:06from,
44:06from,
44:07from your heart.
44:08Trying to consume your heart,
44:10but yet,
44:11your mind is still,
44:11all obstruction there.
44:14That,
44:15what is shining for,
44:17you know.
44:19And that is,
44:21the glory of a devotee,
44:23you know.
44:26That's why,
44:27it is said that,
44:28even God,
44:29becomes submitted,
44:30to,
44:31such devotee,
44:32you know.
44:36So,
44:40it's not,
44:41how say,
44:43it's not about,
44:47saying,
44:48oh,
44:49I can't,
44:49I can't,
44:50I can't.
44:50No.
44:51Like I said earlier,
44:53you don't need any validation from anyone.
44:56You have to have,
44:58that,
44:59deep longing for him.
45:01But in that deep longing,
45:02you have to have a certain understanding,
45:04because very often,
45:06you see,
45:07without knowledge of that,
45:10you have the experience,
45:11you don't have the knowledge,
45:12then you go become ungrounded.
45:16And this is the problem,
45:17very often people become,
45:20ungrounded.
45:20In fact,
45:21I have seen that so many,
45:22that's why I don't like too many people around,
45:24you know.
45:26So,
45:27you have to be fully grounded.
45:29But one has put you here to realize him,
45:31no one has put you flying around.
45:33No,
45:34you have to bring your mind into that reality,
45:37you know.
45:38Ground yourself.
45:40You know.
45:40That's why,
45:42I emphasize,
45:43lately,
45:44about educating yourself.
45:46You know.
45:46Feed your mind with the right things.
45:49Otherwise,
45:50you will not,
45:50you will be fed with so many other rubbish.
45:55You have that potential.
45:57You have that grace,
45:58to be on this path.
46:02You know.
46:04Let what your heart is longing for awake.
46:09Jai Gurudev.
