00:01um how big a story for you is the camp schedule so i've known for about a week
00:06same same here it was going to be short yeah eight morning practices and part of that is that they
00:14are starting late because the season starts later than usual so it's a maybe the latest it can be
00:20the latest training camp start july 29th which is almost august so it's basically august and then
00:27you have the seventh is the last day it's all in the morning i mean the only thing i would

00:34that is people who like to go to training camp that can't go in the morning can't go at all

00:41there's no right one practice that's later in the day or at night even like we used to have i

00:47mcdermott pretty much ran them in the morning um and i thought maybe brady would be different but
00:52it's not so it's eight practices all in the morning 8 30 and that's it and then the next week
00:59they're out of there and they're in the stadium for that scrimmage and that's the end of it
01:04and i just i don't want to seem like incredulous because this is always kind of the way it feels
01:11like it's trending right that's but i think it's a pretty big deal that they're there for a week i
01:16only i i i i do too why bother i i think i mean good question um i wonder how
01:24much longer they'll
01:25continue to bother like i don't know what the status of the relationship you know the contract
01:30the the agreement between the bills and saint john fisher university uh it's harder even for me is
01:36um so i don't know if they're year to year or if they agreed to a three year or something
01:41or i i have
01:42no idea where that lies um but yeah it's not it's not a lot to say i've been i was
01:47bracing for this
01:48when mcdermott first got here because i i felt like i i heard some things early on that indicated
01:54that he didn't love that idea and that maybe the bills were going to try to try to end that
02:00relationship and it's you know obviously went on another nine years and here's a here's a tenth year
02:04but yeah you're right every every cool old school kind of not expensive opportunity that fans have
02:14to be around their teams those just those become in shorter and shorter supply as the years go by
02:20and this is going to be another one it's remains to be seen you know i'm sort of already guessing

02:26how much longer they'll even bother with it at all because at some point you might go we're only
02:32going to be there for a week why bother yeah right um but i i do like that they're still

02:38to maintain that opportunity for fans to it's going to be you know more limited than it's ever been
02:45so good on them for maintaining at least that but it's another signpost on the way to you know
02:52you don't get to be close to your team unless you know you can afford it that kind of thing

02:57the the to me i i don't know if everyone feels this way but like the absolute most charming thing
03:02about summertime football practice is that it doesn't cost anything to go and you're you've way
03:09more access and you know sure there's a line and it's more organized than it used to be to get
03:14autographs and whatever but at least you still if your kids are football crazed you have an opportunity
03:21maybe to even take a day off of work and go do that and like that's a you know a
03:25lot of families
03:25have done that and those opportunities just start to go by the boards um i think as we get older

03:32it's not surprising but that doesn't make it you know fail to rise to the level of being disappointing
03:37i think it's disappointing that's right um that that it's another opportunity um you know just because
03:43i've been expecting it for longer than you know before it happened it doesn't soften it anymore if it's a
03:50a thing that people really look forward to doing so it's disappointing more i'm not i don't you know

05:36announcing uh changes to their front office i mean these are job titles i'm not even sure i've ever
05:45heard before but okay uh senior director of game presentation and entertainment well i guess
05:50somebody has to do that that's a job if i go to a game and i don't like the music

05:55charge of the music managing director media sales and affiliate relations senior director partner and
06:01premium hospitality i think you know that's all fine congratulations to these people who
06:06you know they've earned these jobs these kind of emails also suck the life out of me because i feel
06:15like they're a a a stealth attempt to stuff as many big words that we can't even really find the
06:21strength
06:22to think about into one announcement as possible the bills themselves the the at the end of the email
06:29it's about high mark stadium in conjunction with legends and architectural firm populace the bills
06:37have left no stone on this is like about us right this is the email it's about us the bills

06:42no stone unturned in covering every innovative element of new stadium design and fan amenities
06:48including featuring iconic buffalo architecture and the deep-rooted spirit of bills mafia which they
06:55bought the name bills mafia like just i don't even know what that means the open air football first
07:02venue football first what literally else is ever going to happen there they're spending billions
07:07just for bills games nothing else is there ever going to happen there probably oh i don't think
07:12that's right i hope you're right football first venue i mean first by how much will feature premium
07:17reserved seating that delivers an elevated game day experience and atmosphere a striking canopy
07:23structure will provide seating bowl coverage enhancing fan comfort please stop can i just what happened to

15:16and we talk about his socks and we'd walk around and uh take pictures and stuff they put a stop

15:22that though i guess that was eventually our level of press pass was no longer allowed on the field
15:27that must have been just too much for in fact i believe our credential the last few years we were
15:31going even said in like big bold letters somewhere no field access i'm sure it did you are not allowed
