01:31where there are a lot of people these days who think that he's been held back a little bit.

07:01expect a title defense before Night of Champions, adding that they might wait until summertime.

14:33This is the one brought by the shareholders around the whole, well, basically, it alleged
14:41that Vince McMahon predetermined the transaction to Endeavor for WWE to secure his continued role
14:45at the company in light of the sexual misconduct scandal surrounding him, rather than sort
14:49of allowing multiple other parties to make their offers.
14:53And the shareholders claim they were owed close to $1 billion.
14:57Now, that court case was set to due, was due to start, sorry, on Monday, just gone,
15:03June 8th.
15:04But was removed from the Delaware Court of Chancery calendar over the weekend.
15:08Brandon Thurston, straight on the case with this, was told,
15:11at the parties request the trial is cancelled, the parties have advised the court that they
15:14will present the settlement for approval in due course.
15:16So, by the sounds of it, they're going to settle out of court with all this.
15:20Lord knows if we'll actually find out what the genuine figure for that is going to be.
15:25But, a source close to Vince McMahon reached out to Fightful Select and other outlets and said,
15:32this exact kind of litigation follows every single transaction involving a public company.
15:36But here's the key, Endeavor's bid was by far the highest.
15:40It was signed off on by three separate independent banks, JP Morgan, Rain and Molis.
15:45And that is what WWE's board of directors gave their unanimous approval.
15:49The deal created the premier combat sports company.
15:52And the shareholders made an absolute fortune.
15:54Oh, good. At least the shareholders made money, yeah.
15:57So, that's not true.

16:52An entity called KKR bid $8 billion to $8.7 billion.

17:00And certainly, even at the lowest end of that scale, $8 billion is not a lot less than $8.5

17:07But, Liberty Media bid $8.5 to $8.9 billion.
17:12So, it's more.

17:15And the KKR one could have been more as well.
