00:29surrounding this man, his ongoing absence from WWE television, why he's not around, why he lost at WrestleMania, but his
00:38last appearance, he set something up with Cody Rhodes, and then he's vanished, basically.
00:42Was it the Raw after WrestleMania who did that segment? He obviously lost the World Heavyweight title to Roman at
00:48WrestleMania, and since then, apart from that Cody segment, basically nothing other than him dealing with some fans who were
00:54being creepy weirdos at his hotel in Las Vegas.
00:58And today, it's really exploded. Now, before we dive into this, we do have to say that this has come
01:03from a Twitter account that doesn't have a profile picture, right?
01:06And it's all rumour-based at the moment, right? It's nothing more than that. These aren't facts, but it's the
01:13topic of the day, and that's why we're going to talk about them.

01:15Because I do think they're interesting to disseminate.
01:19We framed the situation. Another interesting aspect of this is that CM Punk showed up at a rival MMA event
01:25to TKO a couple of weeks ago.

01:27Tina Carano and Rondo Rezzi, which is actively competing against his employers. He's been getting jacked as well.

01:38The fact that people didn't even really recognise him speaks volumes. That's CM Punk.

02:03It's not true that they have no plans for CM Punk.
02:07So, yeah, the first thing about all of this was that, ah, creative doesn't have anything for him.

02:30I think, as they mentioned, he was just, you know, tearing himself to pieces on the road to WrestleMania.

02:42But after that, I always prefer when people who lose the big title match at WrestleMania go away for a

02:47Because, like, it's always going to feel like a watered-down version if you're just there hanging about doing little
02:52side quests for a bit.
02:53Unless you're Cody Rhodes after WrestleMania 39, basically.
02:57So, yeah, I think he's earned a bit of time off.
03:00And he would also feel, it would feel strange to have Roman doing what he's doing now.
03:05And all the focus being on the bloodline and people trying to counteract that, basically.
03:10With CM Punk just sort of still hanging around, feuding with, you know, some other random heel mid-carder, basically.
03:15So I think that's what's genuinely happened here.
03:17And I sense that he's always there in terms of, like, ooh, SummerSlam ticket sales aren't doing great.
03:24Let's break glass and bring CM Punk back.
03:26Or they may just bring him back for the road to SummerSlam.
03:28They've got a lot of shows that they've still got to do before that.
03:31And then there's also the sort of traditional lull following SummerSlam.

04:45Before I do, I'd like to be transparent about a few points.
04:48I've been largely against speaking on unverified rumours.
04:51But I believe there's enough smoke around this story and others
04:54that warrants an acknowledgement and discussion.
04:57However, I'm also tired of certain WWE rumours being kept so hush-hush.
05:01I understand journalists can't break confidentiality,
05:04but I've decided to start publicly and not acknowledging
05:07the more salacious WWE rumours in an effort to force any discourse.
05:12This is just a credible rumour.
05:15This is not definitive reporting.
05:17It is a rumour.

05:22With that said, here we go.
05:23So, I've spoken to roughly five to eight people over the past several weeks.
05:28And all of them have heard a story about Punk politicking for something related to WrestleMania.
05:33I've heard whispers about what exactly he was politicking for,
05:36but I've been flat out muzzled by multiple people.
05:40I think there's a strong likelihood of it being revealed sooner rather than later,
05:44so don't get too upset.
05:46Punk's alleged attempt at politicking quickly spread amongst the roster,
05:50and he allegedly gained massive heat from WWE slash TKO execs.
05:54Well, what happened almost immediately after Mania?
05:58Punk gets into it with a fan.

06:00But I'm asking about the big picture here.
06:02So, he's referencing the hotel scuffle where he smacked that guy's phone.
