00:00Sono Tom Campbell di Cultaholic Wrestling, e ho pianto sotto la doccia prima di WWE Clash in Italy.
00:08I've been reliably informed that that translates as, I'm Tom Campbell from Cultaholic Wrestling,
00:12and this is what happened at WWE Clash in Italy.
00:17We open with the undisputed WWE Championship on the line.
00:22Campeon Cody Rhodes defending against Fidante, the ring general Gunter.
00:27The feeling out process, complemented by a Stardust card wheel, ends when Gunter cuts off an early Cody Cutter with
00:34a mighty chop.
00:36Cody able to escape an early sleeper hold, but the ring general continues to wear the champ down.
00:42Rhodes finds a break with a power slam at a pedigree, but Gunter's shotgun dropkick and powerbomb 1-2 doesn't
00:49quite get a 3.
00:50His top rope Splash only sees Cody's knees. A follow-up cross Rhodes only gets 2.
00:55A top rope Cody Cutter lands Cody in the sleeper once again, which the ring general locks in deep,
01:02despite multiple attempts by Rhodes to escape.
01:05Cody's only able to save himself by putting his foot on the bottom rope, forcing a break.
01:11Rhodes rallies. A chop-off ensues, followed by a lariat-off, and Cody finally finding the Cody Cutter,
01:18and following up with a lariat and a crossroads for the 1-2-3.
01:23But Gunter called shenanigans. He had his foot under the ropes. It should have been a break.
01:30Cody celebrates, whilst Gunter acetates.
01:34The first of two WrestleMania rematches up next.
01:38Rhea Ripley defending her WWE women's title against Jade Cargill.
01:42A powerful lock-up exchange to start is won by Cargill,
01:47but Rhea wouldn't stand for any disrespect from Jade, and the fight spills outside.
01:52A cannonball gets countered, and Cargill clatters the champ with a springboard knee.
01:57Mammy then gets caught in a storm, with Cargill dominating Dirty Dom's ex-Dom,
02:02shutting out multiple attempts to get back into the fight.
02:06Ripley attempts to get back in after countering a jumping elbow and some high-impact offense,
02:12punctuated by a German suplex that sends Jade rolling to the floor,
02:16and finally Ripley lands that cannonball to the outside.
02:20A Mammy missile dropkick doesn't keep Cargill covered,
02:23and a blocked razor's edge sees both women down.
02:27Turin breaks into a this-is-awesome chant,
02:30as Jaded and Riptide get countered,
02:33before a half razor's edge, followed by a shiny wizard from the champ,
02:37gets a near fall.
02:39Cargill's attempts to counter an electric chair in the ring
02:41sees both women tumble over the ropes to the floor,
02:45where Ripley hits an electric chair onto the apron instead,
02:48with a sickening thud.
02:50More finishers countered, countered, and countered.
02:53A back superplex from Ripley doesn't get three.
02:56Here comes B-Fab and Mission to run interception,
03:00leading to a pump kick from Cargill.
03:02Ripley abled, however, to avoid Jaded,
03:05and land a Riptide,
03:06where B-Fab was supposed to put Jade's foot on the rope,
03:11but sort of, kind of, doesn't.
03:13Rhea gets back up in the form of double denim Charlotte Flair,
03:17who sends the baddies packing,
03:19and when Cargill lands Jaded,
03:21Charlotte puts Rhea's foot on the ropes to save the title.
03:25Ripley rolls out another Riptide,
03:27and the ref counts three.
03:29Rhea Ripley retains.
03:33I'm putting my own foot on the ropes in solidarity
03:35with the rest of the WWE roster,
03:37ahead of what they are calling the biggest rematch of all time,
03:41Brock Lesnar versus Oba Femi.
03:44Big love to the Italian crowd,
03:46who don't let things like a lack of lyrics
03:49stop them from singing along with Brock Lesnar's theme music.
03:53Paul Heyman introduces Lesnar in Italian,
03:56before Alicia Taylor introduces Oba Femi in boring old English.
04:00Lesnar takes advantage of Femi taking his eye off the ball,
04:03and shoulder charges him into the corner,
04:05following up with four F5s,
04:08and Femi only goes and kicks out.
04:10Brock shifts strategy and locks in the Kimura lock,
04:14and locks it in tight.
04:16Femi is able to lift Lesnar up like a baby,
04:20and slam him hard to the ground,
04:22not like a baby,
04:23to break up the submission attempt.
04:25Lesnar goes for the Kimura again,
04:27and Femi powers out,
04:29goes for a chokeslam,
04:30only for Lesnar to hit a fifth F5,
04:33which Oba gets the shoulder up on again.
04:36Femi counters yet another F5,
04:38with a chokeslam for a two count.
04:40He then lariats himself and Lesnar to the floor,
04:43where the battle continues.
04:45Oba Femi has designs on chokeslamming Brock Lesnar
04:49through the announce table,
04:50but Lesnar avoids his fate,
04:53and he F5s Femi through the commentation station instead.
04:57It looks like it's going to be a count-out win for Brock,
05:00but Oba Femi gets to his feet,
05:02and stares a hole through Lesnar,
05:05and strides back into the ring,
05:07to break the count,
05:09and unload on Lesnar with clotheslines.
05:13Lesnar however will avoid a fall from Grace,
05:16and Femi falls on his face,
05:17with F5 numero 7 for the 1, 2, 3.
05:22Oba Femi won, Brock Lesnar won.
05:25The feud must continue.
05:29After a big scary movie advert featuring The Miz
05:32and some crazy WWE superstars,
05:35and a cameo by Santina Marella,
05:38the Milan miracle,
05:39it's time for the WWE Women's Intercontinental title match
05:43between challenger Sol Ruka and champion Becky Lynch.
05:46The man chews out referee Jessica Carr to start with,
05:50who she uses as a failed distraction attempt,
05:52and a human shield.
05:54But Ruka gets right into it,
05:55putting Lynch down for an early near fall.
05:58They head outside,
05:59where Lynch ends up punching the ring post,
06:01leading to Sol Ruka hitting a moonsault to the ground.
06:04Ruka's athletic offense is her undoing, though,
06:08when Becky Lynch cuts her legs off
06:10as she attempts a springboard.
06:11It's now Lynch being ruthlessly aggressive from here,
06:15bashing Ruka into the barricade
06:16and getting a near fall off a diving leg drop.
06:20A plethora of European uppercuts back and forth
06:23lead to Ruka finding an opening in this one,
06:25catching a near fall after putting her vans in Becky's face,
06:28missile dropkick style-y.
06:30An attempt on the Sol Snatcher sees Lynch snatch Sol's arm,
06:35but an armbar is turned into an STF,
06:38and then an armbar once again,
06:39and then a two-car roll-up.
06:41Lynch leads with several near falls,
06:43which she takes umbrage with Jessica Carr about once more,
06:46and she shuts down a Sol comeback,
06:49leading to both heading up top,
06:51where Ruka will find her feet
06:54and bring both women down with an avalanche X-Factor.
06:58More Lynch car shenanigans
07:00as Becky tries to pull Jess into the path of a Sol Snatcher.
07:04She instead opts to shove Jess into the ropes,
07:06which takes Sol off balance.
07:08Ruka rallies rapidly, though,
07:10and a big kick to Lynch is followed up
07:12by a quite dicey Sasuke special.
07:15She springboard 450s herself into a manhandle slam, strangely,
07:18and it gives Becky a near fall.
07:20Lynch looks to go for a Sol Snatcher of her own,
07:23but Sol snatches her
07:25and gives her the manhandle slam for a near fall.
07:28Moments later,
07:29Ruka finds a path out of another manhandle slam,
07:32leading to the Sol Snatcher
07:34for a sudden, decisive three-count.
07:38Sol Ruka is your new WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion.
07:44Sol stands tall as fireworks explode,
07:48whilst Becky Lynch lies in the ring and angry cries.
07:54With that, we come to our metaphorical World Cup Italia 90 final.
07:59It's the main event,
08:00with Roman Reigns defending his WWE World Championship
08:04against Jacob Fartu.
08:06It's tribal combat.
08:08Jacob must serve Roman if he loses.
08:10However, Roman must acknowledge Jacob as the new tribal chief,
08:14should he lose.
08:15A long stare-down led to both men exchanging early offence,
08:19with Jacob Fartu taking over with a dive to the outside,
08:23before Roman takes the lead
08:25as the fight spills into the crowd,
08:27through the concession stand in the arena,
08:30which is a great idea, actually,
08:31to have a little bar in the arena bit,
08:33save you going out to the concourse.
08:34Oh, right, never mind, never mind.
08:36They're back at ringside now.
08:37Reigns and Jacob both swap control,
08:39and collectively,
08:40they bring a table into the match as well.
08:42Reigns throws the steel steps into Jacob Fartu's skull,
08:46as the crowd chant,
08:47there's only one tribal chief.
08:49It is all textbook Roman here,
08:51the drive-by dropkick,
08:53a plethora of lariats,
08:55a big boot,
08:56before he gives his hand a good wank,
08:58for the first Superman punch attempt of the night,
09:00which Jacob Fartu blocks,
09:03and it leads to Fartu fighting back.
09:05An attempt at a pop-up Samoan drop
09:07is twisted in mid-air,
09:09with a Superman punch,
09:11to give the champ a very near fall.
09:13The spear is intercepted by a superkick,
09:16which sees the sacred Tongan death grip locked in.
09:20Roman fights free and is sent to the floor,
09:22and when Fartu attempts a dive,
09:24he absorbs another Superman punch.
09:27Roman then becomes Tim the Toolman Taylor,
09:29driving a toolbox into Fartu's death grip hand.
09:33Roman goes to spear Fartu through the table in the ring,
09:36but before he can follow up his ooh with an ah,
09:39Fartu comes alive and charges into the corner
09:42to take Reigns down and out.
09:44Around the ring,
09:44Fartu looks to go Samoan bulldozer on Roman Reigns,
09:48but Jacob gets cream-crackered with a Superman punch,
09:52and a huge spear through the barricade,
09:55flattening two extras,
09:57playing as security guards.
09:58A mid-ring spear only gets a mid-ring two,
10:01an irate OTC,
10:03then proceeds to rip all the turnbuckle pads off,
10:06and an attempt for a Tongan death grip
10:09proves ill-effective in a comeback for Jacob Fartu.
10:12This is due to the aforementioned injured hand.
10:15Fartu proceeds to absorb two Superman punches,
10:18and then gets his bonce bounced off the bare buckles,
10:21only to shake it off
10:23and peel out a spear on Roman himself.
10:26Fartu misses a mighty moonsault,
10:28but blocks a spear with a pop-up Samoan,
10:31and follows up with another mighty moonsault,
10:34this one connecting.
10:35Roman kicks out,
10:37and as he does so,
10:38lands a low blow on Jacob Fartu,
10:41a sign of desperation from the OTC.
10:44Once more to the Tongan death grip by Fartu,
10:47which Reigns counters by mercilessly
10:50driving Jacob's head into the exposed turnbuckle.
10:54This leaves Fartu prone to a spear through the table,
10:59and somehow Fartu gets back to his feet from this.
11:04Not for long, though,
11:05he absorbs one final spear
11:07to give Roman Reigns the title-retaining three count.
11:12The Samoan werewolf has been neutered
11:14and domesticated by the world champion.
11:18Post-match,
11:19the Usos appear to present Roman Reigns with the Ula Fala,
11:22and all three men stare down Fartu,
11:25who must pay homage to the tribal chief tomorrow night on Raw.
11:30As Roman,
11:30Jimmy Uso,
11:31and Jey Uso leave,
11:33Solo Sokoa appears,
11:34with Tama Tonga and Tala Tonga.
11:36Reigns apparently has something for the MFT tomorrow night on Raw as well,
11:41and with that,
11:42the Bloodline take their leave,
11:44calling Jacob Fartu to leave with them
11:47as seemingly their new Bloodline pet.
11:51That is what happened at WWE Clash in Italy.
