00:00So Roman Reigns kicked off this week's episode of Raw with an acknowledgement ceremony.
00:03So I have some homework for you today.
00:05Go and find a non-wrestling fan and say,
00:07ha ha, guess what happened on Raw last night?
00:09And tell them this and then report back to me in the comments.
00:12I promise you they're never going to talk to you again.
00:14Also, my friends, I want to ups and downs for Monday Night Raw,
00:17which went down last night and actually I thought was a pretty good show.
00:20Although a lot of it was, okay, we did that at Clash in Italy.
00:23So maybe we need to undo it a little bit.
00:25And poor Jacob at two base, he got sat on by a horse.
00:27That means we are going to talk about it.
00:29I am Cy Miller, pro wrestling content creator and wrestler myself,
00:32also known as a big buffoon.
00:34Let's up those downs for Raw.
00:35So yes, out came Roman Reigns with Jimmy and Jey Uso and incident.
00:38I'm going to give it a down because it was in this moment I realized,
00:41man, we did nothing with Jimbo and Jey.
00:43After WrestleMania, they just went, okay, Roman, we'll be your boys again.
00:47And even though there was some teasing during the Jacob for Two feud,
00:50well now essentially we got to the end of that program
00:52and they are just right back where they were a couple of years ago.
00:55Roman didn't even have to convince them.
00:57He didn't have to use like a Men in Black flashy pen thingy,
01:00so they forgot what happened.
01:01Over the last while, they just decided,
01:03I'm so tired.
01:04We will fall in love with you again, Roman Reigns.
01:06I just think we could have had more fun with that.
01:08So I'm giving it a down.
01:09Roman just kills me as well because he actually said the words,
01:12there's no day, like acknowledgement ceremony day,
01:15which is not a thing.
01:16You're not getting away with that one.
01:17No one has ever said that in the history of mankind.
01:19But he was annoyed because, can you believe it,
01:21Jacob for Two is late to his own acknowledgement day ceremony
01:24when quite coincidentally, out came Jacob for Two.
01:27So he must have been hiding backstage.
01:29I think he had stage fright.
01:30Jacob is so damn funny as well because after Jay was all like,
01:33yeah, man, let's get to all of this.
01:34He was like, listen, I will acknowledge you, Roman Reigns,
01:37but I'm not acknowledging that idiot.
01:38I didn't lose to him in Italy.
01:40When, yeah, not only did he say, I acknowledge you, Roman Reigns,
01:43but he got down on one knee.
01:45I was like, man, I wouldn't have done that.
01:46He may as well have kissed the ring or, I don't know, kissed the oolafala.
01:50And listen, everybody cheered for this.
01:52I was like, is this not a heel thing to do?
01:53You're making somebody in your bloodline get down on one knee
01:57and say nice things to you.
01:58I'm sorry, that is totally flubbed up.
02:00Roman then said he loved Jacob for Two,
02:02which means he is still a gaslighting SOB.
02:04When Jimmy Uso grabbed the microphone,
02:06actually said, oh, locker room, we're coming for you
02:08because we the twos and he's the ones.
02:10And everyone did do the Roman Reigns pointing thing.
02:12And of course, Jacob for Two thought about it.
02:14And then he did it anyway, because under contract, it says he has to.
02:17Now, once again, as we did speak about yesterday on the Clash in Italy review,
02:21surely this has to be leading somewhere with The Rock.
02:24Otherwise, I do not know why WWE go back to this,
02:26unless they went, do you know what?
02:27We were very successful in 2023 and 2024.
02:31So we shall hit copy and paste.
02:33But I'm just going to be honest with you.
02:34It's not for me.
02:35It's not bad.
02:35Roman Reigns is flipping brilliant.
02:36And Jacob for Two could be the champion right now.
02:38But actually, I think that does tie in.
02:40Usually, you do this kind of story,
02:42because now Jacob for Two is trapped in the bloodline
02:44and Roman Reigns is going to beat him up before he does leave
02:46and gets his revenge on Roman.
02:48But we just did that.
02:50We decided to go with Roman Reigns instead,
02:52which is perfectly fine.
02:53WWE can do whatever the flub they want to do.
02:55But it's not going to get Jacob for Two anymore over
02:58because he was already at his peak.
03:00And sometimes I think when somebody reaches their peak,
03:01you should pull the trigger.
03:02Well, peak's not the right word.
03:03He's going to be fine for years.
03:05I just don't want to go back to the bloodline stuff.
03:07I don't.
03:08I watched it all back then.
03:09I don't need to see it again now.
03:10I think I'm just in the mood for new and fresh stuff.
03:13So while this was perfectly fine,
03:14and again, they all do come across like super-duper-whooper stars,
03:17I'm giving it on down.
03:18It's not for old Simon Miller.
03:20When WWE did sort out the king of the ring,
03:22at least for one day,
03:22I swear that bracket has changed 42 times in the last seven minutes.
03:26But it was Obafemi taking on Penta,
03:28taking on Kamala Hayes,
03:29taking on Solis Okoa.
03:30And man, this was so damn good.
03:33Because Obafemi, during his entrance,
03:34beat them all up and then did his pose.
03:36This is one reason I didn't want him to lose to Brock Lesnar.
03:39Just treat him like this all of the time.
03:41And no, it's not going to make a difference.
03:43He's still going to be a main eventer until my dying day.
03:46But sometimes I just want to see a big man crush people.
03:48And my gosh, did we get that here.
03:50Somehow it wasn't even the highlight either.
03:52Because damn this Solis Okoa.
03:54We have to let him do more stuff like this.
03:56At one point, he started doing the Obafemi strut.
03:59So Obafemi grabbed him and basically ripped off all of his arms.
04:03Until actually Obafemi did get taken out for a while.
04:05But that was never going to stop him.
04:07He returned to the ring like a zombie.
04:09And once again, he just ran through everyone.
04:11If you don't like Obafemi, I think you have a problem.
04:14We also made sure we did the big stare down
04:15between Talat I am the tallest Tonga and Obafemi.
04:18I don't want to be that guy.
04:19But Talat I am the tallest Tonga.
04:21Could have been one of Obafemi's open surprise challenge opponents.
04:24And that thing could have gone on for longer.
04:26But ultimately, everybody got slammed here.
04:28Even though Penta and Kamala Hayes were doing their best
04:30to hit some moves when Oba decided,
04:33You, Solis Okoa, you took the mick out of my walk.
04:36He gave him the fall of grace.
04:37One, two, three.
04:38When he grabbed a microphone and went,
04:39Ha ha, Brock Lesnar, you coward.
04:41You can't keep me down.
04:43Remember, we are one-on-one.
04:44And I'm going to kill you.
04:45And this was absolutely the right thing to do.
04:46And once again, Obafemi feels like the man again.
04:49But I did think he was curious that Solo took the pin here.
04:51Given that the MFTs and the bloodline stared off
04:54at the end of Clash in Italy.
04:55He's the leader of that group.
04:57So they're totally mugged off.
04:58But we'll worry about that if we do get there.
05:00I am giving it an up.
05:01Because once again, I will say this to the cows come home.
05:04Obafemi should probably win the king of the ring
05:06and become the world champion at SummerSlam.
05:08It's not going to happen.
05:09But we don't need to wait on ceremony, Mr. Wayne.
05:12Giving it an up.
05:12And then we got our big video for Brom Breaker versus Seth Rollins,
05:15which isn't the main event.
05:16I was like, shouldn't have WWE promoted that a little bit more?
05:19I know they talked about it last week
05:20when in the background,
05:21we saw Maxine Dupree and Austin Theory having a chat.
05:24So eventually, I imagine Maxine is going to join the vision.
05:27I wouldn't do it.
05:28It's cursed.
05:29When he was writing to let's celebrate the fact
05:30that Sol Ruka is the Intercontinental Champion,
05:32which is slightly different from an Acknowledgement Day ceremony.
05:36But actually, WWE kept this nice and simple.
05:38Sol came out.
05:39She said, man, I'm so happy to be here.
05:40Thank you, fans, for supporting me.
05:42I know we could do it.
05:43And isn't it great?
05:44I beat Becky Lynch because she keeps telling us she is the best,
05:47which means now I must be the best.
05:48She also promised to be a fighting champion.
05:50And I think a lot of wrestlers need to stop saying that
05:52because it is becoming a bit overplayed.
05:54And I actually would have had somebody come out here to start another feud
05:57because what Sol Ruka needs right now is programs to really establish her.
06:01But ultimately, she did come across like a massive baby face.
06:03This Italy crowd totally loved her.
06:05So from an optics point of view, this was absolutely spot on.
06:08I am going to give it an up.
06:10And yes, there's a segment later to kind of tease what direction we are going in.
06:14This is good, right?
06:15We've hit reset with Sol Ruka.
06:16Now let's make sure we send her off to the moon.
06:18Well, we did indeed get that footage from Clash in Italy
06:21when Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes stared at each other.
06:23So surely that has to be going somewhere.
06:25And in fact, I'm putting that on the two counter
06:27because Oba Femi should be gunning for Roman Reigns.
06:29And now Cody Rhodes, hint, hint, wink, wink, should be gunning for Roman Reigns.
06:32So we cut to Roman Reigns and he said to Jey Uso,
06:35Hey, Jey, why don't you win the King of the Ring
06:37and you can go after the WWE title
06:39because you never held that one and that will be good for you.
06:42So once again, I was like, why would anybody listen to Roman Reigns?
06:44He's clearly crazy.
06:45And also he came across like a patronising dad.
06:48Thankfully, the matches on this episode of Raw were damn fun though
06:50because it was then Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee
06:52taking on Rusev and Ethan Page
06:55and talk about four dudes that know what they're doing.
06:58You could just sit back and enjoy this.
06:59I had a barrel of fun.
07:00Rusev just stomped on the dragon to begin with as well,
07:02which is quite brave because he is a dragon.
07:04When Bates at the heels were like,
07:05Ha ha, Rey Mysterio, we're not going to let you tag in.
07:09And Ethan Page twonked him at one point and so did Rusev.
07:11The crowd was so damn mad
07:13because despite being in his 50s,
07:15Rey Mysterio somehow still is one of the best wrestlers on the planet.
07:18And he did get the hot tag.
07:19This place exploded.
07:21I looked at Rey like, you don't make any sense, dude.
07:23You're two plus two X potato.
07:25Everybody is going to love you until the end of time,
07:27which is how it should be.
07:29You're just great.
07:30He flew around the ring as well like it was nothing.
07:32And basically, the baby faces did overcome the heels.
07:35When Dragon Lee took out Ruru with this excellent dive,
07:37so Rey Mysterio was like, all right, can you believe it?
07:40Ethan Page is in the 619 position.
07:42He hit the 619, he hit the splash, and he just beat him.
07:44And they celebrated in the ring.
07:46And you could just sit there and go, you know what?
07:48That'll do, pig.
07:49That'll do.
07:49So I'm just going to give it an up
07:50because, of course, it is going to tie to Rey Mysterio versus Penta 2.
07:54And I can smell shenanigans in that one.
07:56But yeah, up.
07:57We should enjoy Rey Mysterio
07:58because, of course, he is closer to the end of his career
08:00than he is the beginning.
08:01But Dragon Lee is great.
08:03And again, Ethan Page and Rusev are just fantastic as heels.
08:06I thought this was very, very good.
08:07This is when Anna Pierce did confirm
08:09it shall be Rey versus Penta next week
08:10when LA Knight walked in.
08:12And this is when we get the third guy
08:13who wants to be Roman Reigns' enemy.
08:15Although, man, LA Knight made the best point.
08:17Why do you keep hanging around with the bloodline?
08:19And why do you keep doing what Roman Reigns is telling you to do?
08:22You're the boss.
08:23Why on earth are you sort of bending the knee to that dude?
08:25And I was like, well, he bends the knee to everybody.
08:27But I will tell you,
08:28quite clearly we're going to do LA Knight versus Roman Reigns
08:30because we've teased it loads now.
08:31That LA Knight is totally correct.
08:33We then go to recap of El Grande versus El Grande,
08:35which WWE actually played after Raw.
08:37And you should most definitely watch this
08:39because it is one of the matches of the year.
08:40And because I don't think we're going to cover it
08:42specifically on this channel,
08:43just a massive bravo to Lidford Kaiser,
08:46Chad Gable and everybody on the AAA team.
08:48Honestly, if you don't have time for this,
08:50try and change it today.
08:51By the end of it, you'll look around
08:53and you'll kind of go,
08:54well, why don't we do that on Raw and SmackDown?
08:56Wonders never cease.
08:57It was then time for Queen of the Ring activity
08:59because it was EOS Sky versus Last Legend.
09:01versus Julia versus Roxanne Perez.
09:03Yeah, I thought this was all right too.
09:05Once again, you could just enjoy it.
09:07It was basically you go, I go, we all go.
09:09Although we did give Julia a lot here.
09:11While quite clearly WWE has no plans for her
09:13because she did take the pin,
09:15given that we are in Italy,
09:16which is special for her.
09:17Man, she was just going off.
09:19This is what I would try and do over the weeks and months.
09:22Just put her in matches
09:23and give her like 10 minute plus.
09:25She knows what she's doing.
09:26EOS Sky was also totally obsessed
09:27with drop kicks during this match.
09:28She hit one single one.
09:29She hit another single one.
09:31Then she hit a double one.
09:32And that inspired Roxanne Perez
09:33because she's like, wait a minute.
09:34We can do one move at the same time with two people.
09:37She did a double DDT.
09:38Now we really pushed Last Legend as well
09:39because she was murking people towards the end of this,
09:42including hitting the Last extension,
09:44whatever the flub it's called,
09:45onto Julia.
09:46When yes, EOS Sky,
09:47who was perched on the top rope for about a century,
09:50jumped in.
09:50She stomped on Last Legend,
09:51got rid of her.
09:52She hit the moonsault
09:53and she pinned Julia for a one, two, three.
09:55So that kind of took the edge of this.
09:57Not Adam Copeland.
09:58He went to AEW
09:59because I would imagine
10:00the two favorites to win this
10:01would have been Julia or EOS Sky.
10:03And if anybody deserves to go all the way
10:04to the final, it is EOS.
10:06We've done nothing with her
10:07since the whole Oscar shenanigans,
10:09but that's okay
10:09because we can do it now.
10:10I'm going to give it an up.
10:11It goes back to the other
10:12King of the Ring match.
10:13You could just sit down and enjoy it.
10:15I still think it's mad
10:16that it's four ways
10:17because it takes away the jeopardy.
10:19But as Michael Cole and Corey Graves
10:20went about the quarterfinals,
10:21when we get there, it is one-on-one,
10:23which is what we should have done anyway.
10:25But up.
10:26Maxine Dupree then got Superman out of Adam Pearce
10:28because she's not in Queen of the Ring,
10:29which is also another good point
10:30because, you know,
10:31she could have been in there
10:32instead of Liv Morgan,
10:33who's already the champion.
10:35And when Otis tried to calm her down,
10:36Maxine was like,
10:37no, I don't want to listen to you
10:38because, of course,
10:39she's going to join the vision.
10:40And actually, I thought
10:41this was smart of WWE
10:42because she does need some justification.
10:44She can't just pop up there and go,
10:46well, I didn't have much of a story going on,
10:47so I thought I'd end up here.
10:49Now she can feel betrayed, I suppose.
10:51And Paul Heyman can be like,
10:52man, do I have a plan for you?
10:54We then have the best video for Dan Howes
10:55and reminding you how much
10:56he helped the Knicks recently
10:57by uncursing them,
10:59which is the best story.
11:00When, can you believe it?
11:01We finally did it.
11:03Bayley and Lara Valkyrie were being interviewed
11:05when Lara saw Sol Ruka
11:06and she went up to her and said,

11:09You beat Becky Lynch,
11:11so now finally,
11:12I can go back in the IC title scene.
11:14I was like, man,
11:15there was a huge chunk of time
11:16when Becky Lynch was not the champion,
11:18Lara Valkyrie.
11:18But you know what?
11:19Beggars can't be choosers.
11:20Also, Bayley was a bit like,
11:21well, that came out of nowhere.
11:23So maybe finally,
11:24we are going to do something
11:25with these two, honestly.
11:26In terms of people used in 2026,
11:29they have essentially been ghosts.
11:30Liv Morgan then basically ignored
11:31the fact that Roxanne Perez
11:32had lost earlier
11:33because she only cares about
11:34the Queen and King of the Ring
11:35with her and Dorian Mysterio.
11:36I'm just going to give it a down again.
11:38I cannot get over the fact
11:39that Liv Morgan is in her own tournament,
11:41basically.
11:42It is so stupid.
11:43As I said yesterday,
11:44it's like Link
11:45when he has to take on Dark Link.
11:46So unless we're going to get
11:47Liv Morgan versus Dark,
11:48Liv Morgan,

11:50At some point as well,
11:51we also learned that Finn Balor
11:52has gone to SmackDown.
11:53Well, that's kind of a shame
11:54in the sense I thought
11:55him and Roxanne Perez
11:56were doing a story.
11:57It's also the right move
11:58by WWE.
11:59We had to end all this stuff
12:01with Dominic and JD McDonut
12:02one way or the other.
12:03And also,
12:04SmackDown needs fresh matches.
12:05So actually,
12:06you know what?
12:07That one is a net positive.
12:08But amazingly,
12:08it was our main event.
12:10So we zoomed around this week
12:11and it was Brom Breaker
12:12versus Seth Rollins.
12:13And I actually thought
12:14this was a terrific fight.
12:15These two are really good together.
12:16And when it came to that finish,
12:18well, I put my 1999 pants on
12:20and I got excited.
12:21Sounds bad.
12:22Brom Breaker really was
12:22throwing Seth Rollins around
12:23to begin with well,
12:24including into Barry Barricade.
12:26Poor Barry Barricade
12:27gets murked all the time
12:28in a WW main event.
12:30And even when Seth Rollins
12:31tried to get back
12:31by slapping him,
12:32Brom was like,
12:33it's not going to do anything to me.
12:34He hit the Frankenstein,
12:35although he only got
12:36the 1-2-oo.
12:37I do have a slight criticism
12:38because later on
12:39Breaker hit the spear
12:40and Seth Rollins
12:41kicked out of the 1-2-oo.
12:43And I was like,
12:43man, I just don't think
12:44on a random Raw,
12:45not a random Raw main event,
12:46but on a Raw main event,
12:47you have to have
12:48the spear being kicked out of.
12:50So I've arrived.
12:50Mark it down.
12:51It actually happened
12:51a few days ago.
12:52So May 2026,
12:54WW is a finish
12:55and crossed the line
12:56and we need to back
12:57it back with finishes.
12:58We also made sure
12:58that Brom Breaker
12:59kicked out of the Falcon Arrow
13:00combo as well.
13:01So we were doing everything here.
13:02Well, of course,
13:03we got to all of the shenanigans,
13:05but actually the shenanigans
13:06tied into the finish nicely.
13:07And once again,
13:08we didn't go too crazy
13:10with shenanigans
13:10throughout the show.
13:11So if you are going to have
13:12a match with The Vision,
13:13well, it makes sense
13:13they would do this
13:14because Austin Theory
13:15is a dickhead.
13:16I mean, he basically came out
13:17and tried to cause a fuss.
13:18So out came Montez Ford,
13:19who is Seth Rollins' new friend.
13:20And he tried to stop him,
13:21which he did do
13:22with all the crazy moves,
13:23when all of a sudden
13:24the title found itself
13:25in the ring,
13:25which we'll get back to
13:26in just one second.
13:27But before then,
13:28Seth Rollins was all
13:29wibbly-wobbly on the outside.
13:30But when Brom Breaker
13:31went to spit him,
13:32Seth got out of the way.
13:33And can you believe it?
13:34Paul Hamer was right there
13:35and Brom Breaker
13:40at the end of the feud,
13:40at least for a little while,
13:42because Paul Hamer
13:43just got his comeuppance.
13:44He was going to tie
13:44into the finish as well
13:45because Brom then
13:46went for another spear.
13:47But yes, Seth Rollins
13:48had that title.
13:49He had it in his waist area,
13:50which is always smart.
13:51Meaning when Brom went
13:52for his move,
13:53he knocked himself out.
13:55He was all wibbly-jibbly
13:55when Seth Rollins
13:56hit the stomp
13:57and he got the 1-2-3.
13:58I tell you,
13:59this is the kind of stuff
14:00that WW needs to do more of.
14:02We don't need distraction,
14:03interference, finish
14:04all of the time.
14:05And of course,
14:05this goes back to
14:06Bret Hart Goldberg,
14:07WCW in 1999.
14:08But that's fine.
14:10It was 1999.
14:11You're allowed to buy
14:12story beats
14:13from almost 30 years ago.
14:14It was so well executed.
14:16It completely protected
14:17Brom Breaker
14:17and Seth Rollins
14:18looked like such a smart tamale.
14:20I am giving this
14:21a massive up.
14:21I thought it was so well done.
14:23And as for the match itself,
14:24Seth Rollins is brilliant.
14:25Brom Breaker can main event
14:26whatever the flub he wants.
14:28I had a great old time
14:29and again,
14:29that finished man,
14:30stick it on a stake.
14:31What up?
14:32Seth Rollins also mentioned
14:33the fact that he too
14:34could win the King of the Ring,
14:35which he's never done
14:36when he looked at that crown.
14:37So he also goes into
14:39the Roman Reigns category.
14:40And why?
14:41Because he was doing this
14:42with his arms.
14:44I don't think he was talking
14:45about the tag team title.
14:46That's LA Knight,
14:47that's Seth Rollins
14:47and it's Obafemi
14:48who could all be going for
14:49Roman Reigns over
14:50the next few months.
14:51And that's what you want
14:52because it is the biggest prize
14:53in the game.
14:54So the biggest players
14:55should want it.
14:55So I actually really enjoyed
14:56this episode of Raw.
14:57There were a few dumb things
14:58on there,
14:58but it is progressing.
14:59It's always going to happen.

15:02the finish to that main event.
