00:13And I got confused because I was 99% sure we'd already clarified that last week.
00:17Also, my friends, the world of ups and downs,

00:21Simon Miller, the bald idiot, who not only reviews professional wrestling,
00:24but actually does the professional wrestling as well.
00:26I'm like the first YouTuber to ever do that,
00:28which may be true, it may not be true,
00:30but because it is 2026,
00:32we are just allowed to say stuff and throw out into the ether.
00:34And yes, because WWE just did put on an episode of SmackDown,
00:38I watched it, I made notes,
00:39I made a few jokes which nobody needs in their lives.
00:42Let's stop those doubts.
00:42Rhea Ripley was also almost instantly joined by Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.

00:46what are you talking about this title match at Clash in Italy?
00:50We've got a Saturday night's main event six-person tag later on,
00:53so we should be focusing on that.

01:03Which begs the question,
01:04why did nobody tell us that on the last week's episode of SmackDown?

01:20There was a lot of back talk.
01:22When Fatal Influence walked out and just went,

01:33That was it.
01:33So, like, it was fine.
01:35It did feel a little bit like Groundhog Day,
01:37which was a big issue with this week's episode of SmackDown.
01:39I'm giving it a thumb middle.
01:41Like, we set things up that we needed to set up,
01:43but when it was done,
01:44I wouldn't say that I'm super jazzed about the show,
01:46and really, if you are going to do an opening promo,
01:49that's what it should do.
01:49Boyz Keys then yelled that Charlotte was a comment
01:51because either one, he really doesn't like him,
01:53or two, he secretly joined the MFTs,
01:55but nobody's telling us right now.
01:57When Alexa Bliss, I tell you, I like Alexa Bliss,
02:00she found Charlotte and she went,
02:01I can't deal with you later because I'm sick.
02:04Charlotte was like, why are you lying to me?
02:05Alexa was like, all right, okay, I am lying to you.

02:40We find you very annoying.
02:41But I watched it, I don't want to say I don't care,

02:49It's not like super emotional storytelling.
02:51It's not like WWE needs to do this all the time,
02:54especially because we are in the post-WrestleMania malaise,
02:56but in terms of watching it on a Friday night,
02:59I didn't get a lot from it.
03:01My major issue is because, yes,
03:02WWE had decided on this day.

03:06Distractions, interference, and all that nonsense.
03:08We are so into shenanigans,
03:09we are going to make sure it features in every single match,
03:13which I just thought wasn't a little bit ridiculous.
03:15So, of course, Sora Sakawa was running around going,

03:19And even though Shinsuke is a veteran,
03:20he forgot he was in a match.
03:21He turned around.
03:22He got chokeslammed, one, two, three.
03:24Tamatonga then acted like he was actually going to help Shinsuke Nakamura.
03:27He stopped Sora Sakawa in his tracks.
03:28But then, of course, he did attack Shinsuke.
03:31It just looks like it's going round and round the houses.
03:34And once again, I just did not get that pump for this,
03:36which is not the euphemism,
03:37even though it does sound quite bad.
03:39And again, because there was just going to be so much distraction,
03:42even now when I'm talking to you,
03:44and really before I started watching the show,
03:45I just expected it.
03:47I never think you should expect distractions
03:48because I don't know.
03:50I can't explain it.
03:51It just begs the question,
03:53why doesn't Nick Owens get involved?
03:54Why doesn't the general manager of the show be like,
03:56excuse me, you shouldn't be doing that?
