A page recently got more impressions than usual is a great indicator of a winning SEO strategy. For TM Blast, I'm seeing a +2,624% increase in impressions for my Google Ads Management Service page. Specifically, I'm seeing an increase in queries around Google AdWords Management, which is interesting because that is the old name of the service. After seeing this and getting the alert in Google Search Console, I went to my landing page https://tmblast.com/google-ads-management-services/ and updated a few key areas to discuss that keyword. I updated my title tag, H2 tag, and even some of the images to talk about Google AdWords. Next, I created a new case study about this service for one of my clients to help with the internal linking strategy.

00:00Hey everyone, what's going on? Greg here again from TM Blast. So I really like this feature
00:03within Google Search Console. It's under recommendations. And basically what will
00:06happen is that if there's a webpage on your website that's getting more impressions than
00:10usual, you're actually going to get a notification about that. So that's actually what's happening
00:14with TM Blast. It's my Google Ads Management services up over 2,624%. So I'm going to go
00:21to check page performance. So for me, what I always recommend is when you're looking at
00:26Search Console, impressions are more important than clicks, especially if it's a new landing page,
00:30which is the case for me. So I can see that impressions are at 926 compared to 34. That's
00:36obviously why it's triggering that within the recommendations. So if you go down here over
00:39to the queries, this is really where the opportunity is now. Google Ads Management Services, Google
00:44AdWords Management Services, and then you can keep going down the list. The reason why I like this is
00:49that Google Ads Management is the name of my landing page. But there's still people who actually search
00:54for Google AdWords because that was the original name, just like how I think Microsoft Advertising
01:00was Bing Ads and all that. So names always change, but they always mean the same thing.
01:04So what I do is next that I have TM Blast tracking within SEMrush via a daily keyword tracker.
01:11And I can already see this over here that there's two keywords now, Google AdWords Management Service
01:14and Google AdWords Management. Both are new keywords. They're on position 30. So I still have a long
01:21way to go. But what I've been doing now, so I'm going to go to the page over here, is
01:26that when
01:26I see Search Console is showing me that the AdWords keywords are going to rank a bit better.
01:31Some things I did, so let me go into the source code to show you guys. Look for the title
01:36over
01:36here. So title. It says Google Ads Management Services and hyphen Google AdWords Management
01:41Services. So I added in AdWords directly into the title tag to go after that keyword a little
01:46bit more aggressively. Next, what I did was I added in this within the H2 tag. What is a Google
01:52AdWords Management Service? So if you highlight that, inspect it, this is the H2 tag that I added.
01:57What I also do is I go through my existing landing pages and I then diversify my anchor text. So
02:04a lot
02:04of times if it's just Google Ads Management, I'm going to now update that Google AdWords. I went through
02:08some of the images, rename the file name, and then also save the alt tag to be Google AdWords.
02:15And then also I use ClearScope to refresh the page. And then also I use the paid version for
02:23ChatGPT, but also I use Copilot as well to kind of look over some of the top competitors who are
02:28ranking better for Google AdWords services to see kind of where the gaps are for me to really add.
02:34Actually, one final thing that I did as well today, I'm going to go to my case study section.
02:38I published a case study today. I still have to record the video, but I have 152% increase
02:44in phone calls directly from Google Ads for one of my clients. So that's why I made this case study
02:50is because A, I wanted to showcase the before and after, but also I'm trying to give more
02:55signals to Google and also for Bing that Team Blast does Google Ads Management. Here's some case
03:00studies about that and internally linking back. So a lot of, you know, basically it all comes down
03:05to this performance section over here. You know, it stood out that over 2000 plus more impressions
03:11taking place. I can see the queries. I do the same type of analysis for my clients, especially for new
03:15landing pages that we create. I publish it and I go back and then I refine. That's why when you
03:21work
03:21with me, one of my biggest things that I push is quick releases. I don't like to spend a lot
03:25of time
03:26trying to make the perfect version of a page. I'd rather get 80% there if we feel good, launch
03:31it.
03:32I'd rather let the data show me some different keywords that we maybe should optimize better
03:36for. Just like I did with my landing page, it was all about Google Ads Management. But turns out
03:41Google AdWords is an opportunity for me to drive more traffic. I didn't think about that.
03:45But based off the data, I can already see people are searching for that. I just didn't do a good
03:48enough job to optimize for that particular keyword, which is why I'm going back.
03:52So anyway, I hope this video might spark some ideas of what you guys can do for your
03:56website to drive more traffic. I don't know if you have any questions and as always,
03:59have a good rest of your day.
