00:33Locals alleged that the car was being driven by the wife of a Uttar Pradesh police sub-inspector
00:38while the officer was seated beside her.
00:41Following the crash, angry villagers surrounded the vehicle
00:44and prevented the couple from leaving until police arrived.
00:48The tragedy sparked widespread protests,
00:50with family members and villagers placing Sahil's body on the road
00:53and blocking traffic for nearly four hours.
00:56Protesters demanded the arrest of those responsible,
00:59one crore compensation for the family and a government job for a relative.
01:02Sahil was the only son of his parents and the sole breadwinner of the family.
01:07His father is battling cancer, while he also supported his mother and five sisters.
