One THA Assembly member is still hopeful two-year-old Angelo Tobias Plaza is still alive.

Taking part in a walk drive initiative on Sunday from Scarborough to Goodwood Bay by Tobagonian Akeel Archer, Secretary Natisha Charles-Pantin remains optimistic.

00:00I support, you know, whatever effort the police would take in order to, you know, bring something to the fore
00:08as it relates to this child.
00:10In my heart, I'm hoping that the child is still alive, right?
00:14But let's hope that, you know, something more comes as time goes by.
00:19And I want to, you know, encourage persons not to get too much involved in here.
00:23I say, you know, let credible information be released so that, you know, us, we are emotional people.
00:31And, you know, our hearts always jump at every information.
00:35But allow the authorities to do their jobs.
00:37And I have confidence in all of them and all that they have been doing.
00:41And special, you know, commendations going out to the search and rescue, the hunter search and rescue team.
00:47We admire you all so much.
00:49And we thank you for your support.
00:51She said the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of two-year-old Angelo Tobias Plaza rocked her to the core.
01:00It's a child.
01:02And, you know, just the fact that we haven't found him, it has rocked me.
01:07It has been my thoughts ever since.
01:11So definitely I'm with Tobago with this.
01:15My community, we have been talking about it.
01:19I have representatives from my community here with me as well.
01:22So it has rocked us.
01:23And we'll continue to support in whatever way we can.
01:27Evangelist Nicole Thomas-Stewart said, this is not the Tobago we are accustomed to.
01:33She called on those gathered to seek the peace of God and leave justice to God.
01:38We are not accustomed to this information.
01:42We are not accustomed to such gruesome acts within our community.
01:48This thing has caused a worldwide...
01:52Listen, Tobago has become on the map for the wrong reasons.
01:59And so we have to let people know that we are standing against things like this.
02:04We are not in agreement.
02:07We all are taking place.
02:10And a glimmer of hope in the midst of grief, as the various cultures of the country united at good
02:18would be.
02:19P.R.O. of the Tobago Hindu Society, Govindra Graham Blogan, spoke with TV6 News following his rendition on the
02:27dohka, drum during an interface service.
02:32The interfaith system.
02:34And once this continues, the island will be back to its positive impact.
02:40And, you know, if this is taking place throughout the world with the various religions, the world will be a
02:45better place.
02:46So I hope that we come back.
02:48And it's a really sad situation, but the love and support is very good.
