00:00For every day that pass is a loss, in my view, and I think that, you know, it brings to
00:08bear even more pressure on the society.
00:12It's becoming even more sad that at least somebody has not been found, so, you know, hopes are a diminution.
00:21Ms. Morrison has been visiting Goodwood Bay frequently, and today we caught up with her as she provided food items
00:30for the candlelight vigil group in the area.
00:33She told us the reality in the situation must be looked at.
00:37I don't know if it's a miracle, but the hopes are diminishing. That is what I would say.
00:45The hopes are diminishing as the days roll along. It is very hard to see at that age, that child
00:52at that age, surviving the elements even for 11 days. Think about that for a moment.
00:59She said Tobago is not accustomed to this.
01:03The support is good from the members of the public who have dedicated their time and their energy in support,
01:11in prayers, and in best wishes, you know, for the situation.
01:16It is a very sad situation. It's something that the island of Tobago is really not accustomed to.
01:22And, of course, you will see unorthodox stuff happening in terms of the revivals and the prayers and the visuals
01:31and so on.
01:31Those are stuff you normally see on television, and it has come home to us.
01:36A community united in tragedy.
01:39Very high communion spirit. It means that they have supported the idea that it is not tolerable for what has
01:47happened, and they are hoping for resolution.
01:50You know, it may not be what we actually want in the actual survival of the child, but it means
01:57that this is a community who are working together, and sticking together, and supporting of each other.
02:04She said we must pay attention to our children.
02:07I know Akil Franklin, who is a part of social protection, has been here, lending support to the family and
02:15the community.
02:16So, in terms of what can we do to prevent this, we have to be more humane and pay attention
02:23to our children and be vigilant.
