00:02man, I got screwed over at the pay-per-view, so I am mad,
00:05and therefore I demand reparations, and I demand them right now.
00:09And he kind of got me, kind of didn't, a lot of it actually didn't make much sense,
00:12but I am tired, so maybe I'm stupid.
00:14Also, hello, my friends, I want to do ups and downs,
00:15the only rest of you show you need, and that's right,
00:18we were in Bologna, Italy, I believe, last night, which I forgot again.
00:21I was like, oh yeah, Smackdown's on a normal time,
00:23my brain will never get used to it.
00:25However, I did watch the show, you watch the show,
00:27and now we have to see whether our opinions will come together,
00:30and we do that by upping those doubts.
00:31But yes, Gunther was all like, you saw what I did with my foot
00:34when I was taking on Cody Rhodes at Clash in Italy.
00:36I deliberately put it under the bottom rope because I am the ring general,
00:39and I am the best, and as for that Cody Rhodes,
00:41he tried to trick the referee, because we all know Cody is an asshole.
00:45And Cody must have heard that and thought to himself,
00:46well, I'm not an asshole, and he came to the ring.
00:48I think he called Gunther a sausage maker as well, or something like that,
00:51and his big point was, you have been doing this for 20 plus years,
00:54you know the deal, you don't have to come out here with a big boo-boo face on.
00:57If you want to do it again, we can do it again.
00:59You know what? Given that I am a professional wrestler with a WWE title,
01:02we can do it right now.
01:03And out walks Sami Zayn.
01:04His big point was, he understands everything that is going on,
01:07but at the same time, he feels like he is being excluded from this deal,
01:10and he really would like to be included.
01:12And as soon as Gunther went, excuse me, Sami Zayn,
01:14I'm not a fan of you either, he was like,
01:16well, I may never have been the WWE champion,
01:19but when it comes to being you, Gunther,
01:21well, I have a lot of experience.
01:22It's true.
01:23Cody then basically told everyone to calm down.
01:25That's when Gunther was shoving Sami Zayn into Cody Rhodes,
01:27or maybe vice versa.
01:28Then he was trying to choke people out.
01:30And also, when Cody was going to do a dive onto Gunther,
01:32what did Gunther do?
01:33He pushed Sami Zayn in the way.
01:35So essentially, this whole segment ended with Cody being like,
01:37listen, man, I didn't mean to do that.
01:39And Samwise being like, you did mean to do that,
01:41because you're a bad person, Cody Rhodes,
01:43and I'm never going to talk to you again.
01:44I just want to say,
01:45I love all this stuff between Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn.
01:48It has to be going in a certain direction
01:49when they do have a fight.
01:50And of course, one of my predictions for Clash in Italy
01:53is that Sami Zayn would cost Cody Rhodes that WWE championship.
01:56And I still think that's what WWE is going to do.
01:59And this is where I got a bit confused.
02:01And again, I am an idiot.
02:02But Gunther lost it backstage with Nick Aldis saying,
02:04man, given what you have done to me,
02:06and because you haven't treated me very well,
02:08I am going to sue you.
02:09That's right.
02:10I'm going to get my lawyers to sue you.
02:11And then later on, Nick Aldis told Cody Rhodes,
02:13well, he is going to sue us.
02:15So now he gets to pick the stipulations,
02:17although Cody is allowed to pick the time,
02:18and they're doing it in two weeks.
02:20It's like, what would he sue him over?
02:21I don't understand.
02:22I know they talked about this,
02:23but I just thought it was Gunther being a heel
02:25and saying nonsense,
02:26because again, he is a bad guy,
02:27and you could say whatever you want.
02:29But I was like, any lawyer would be like,
02:31I don't really know what's going on here.
02:33I mean, his foot was under the rope,
02:34but the referee's decision is final.
02:36That's been the rule for about 476 years.
02:38I'm still going to give it an up,
02:39because again, I think it's a really good program
02:41between Gunther and Cody Rhodes.
02:43And again, either guy could win this championship,
02:45and it would be fine.
02:46But the Sami Zayn asterisk in the corner
02:48is what really makes it interesting.
02:50So when Cody and Sami have those conversations,
02:52you can suspend your disbelief
02:53and totally believe that something is going in there.
02:56So yes, I am going to give it an up.
02:57But also, just to sneak it down as well,
02:59the sue thing feels a bit weird.
03:01If it was a bit like somebody went,
03:02we need like a stipulation for this match.
03:04Why don't we just talk about lawyers?
03:06Again, maybe I have got it wrong,
03:07but I did watch it again.
03:08I kind of think like it was just a heel being a heel,
03:11and everyone just lets him be a heel,
03:12which is what Nick Aldis did before.
03:14Let's not forget what happened with Drew McIntyre.
03:16Nick had the best to get with Miz and Dan Houser
03:18when Miz found the experimental lab of Dan Houser,
03:20which Dan Houser is now calling his home.
03:22And when he started smashing stuff up,
03:24Miz was all like,
03:24oh man, you don't like people coming into your house
03:27and destroying stuff.
03:28Dan Houser just went,
03:29well, no, of course not.
03:30Who would?
03:31It's a great point.
03:31Anyway, Dan Houser did tell Miz not to touch
03:33this one specific thing.
03:35And when he did,
03:36well, Miz got electrocuted,
03:37and he was dead.
03:39Hopefully we'll have an image on the screen right now.

03:43Nobody walked in.
03:44So I guess rest in peace to the bisque.
03:46It was then a Queen of the Ring qualifying match
03:48between Raquel Rodriguez-Bailey,
03:50Keanu James,
03:51and JC Jane.
03:51Try and say that four times fast.
03:53And actually,
03:54I thought they had quite the fun old fight.
03:56I enjoyed this.
03:57And really,
03:58anybody could have won.
03:59I presume that JC Jane was going to go through.
04:01Because I thought in a crazy world,
04:02if you did want to do Rhea versus JC,
04:04you could,
04:04especially given how they debuted.
04:06But instead,
04:07we gave it to Raquel,
04:08who spent the majority of this match
04:09just throwing people into somebody else
04:11like they were human projectiles.
04:13And I don't mind that either,
04:14because again,
04:15on a bracket,
04:16now whoever is going to face Raquel
04:17can be like,
04:17oh my gosh,
04:18you're a big woman
04:19who slaps woman meat.
04:20What the flub am I going to do?
04:21It really was like whack-a-mole as well,
04:23because somebody would get in there
04:24and get hit,
04:24and somebody else would come in there
04:25and hit somebody else.
04:26And they were breaking up pins
04:27all over the place.
04:28And I suppose the story beat,
04:30and I'll do my best to explain this,
04:32because it's kind of ridiculous,
04:33is at one point,
04:34Keanu James had the match won,
04:36but JC Jane,
04:37whoever the flub she was pinning,
04:38put her foot on the rope.
04:39And by that point,
04:40Julia went and smacked JC Jane,
04:41because before this,
04:42JC Jane had smacked Julia.
04:43And when Keanu James
04:44kind of had her head
04:45in the right direction,
04:46she went,
04:46oh my gosh, Julia,
04:48I can't believe you did that to me,
04:50even though nobody,
04:51even a four-year-old,
04:52would not be able to work out
04:53what did go down.
04:55And listen,
04:55given what happened after the match,
04:56I think WW has made
04:58the right decision here,
04:59but I also kind of feel like
05:00the tension between Julia
05:01and Keanu James
05:02had to be way higher than this.
05:05Keanu James was so damn mad.
05:06Julia should be able to go,
05:07well, it wasn't me,
05:08and Keanu within her rights to go,

06:45When yes,
06:46eventually Royce Keys went after Talatonga,
06:48and Talatonga was like,
06:49ha ha,
06:49you forgot about me.
06:50He hit the big choke slam,

06:53and he got the one,

06:55And I was like,

07:11It also did mean that Royce Keys got absolutely wrecked by the MFTs,
07:14which is going to be quite interesting,
07:15given what happened later.
07:17And I'm just not into this feud.

07:19The match was perfectly fine.
07:21I personally wouldn't have beaten Royce Keys this early,
07:23although quite clearly WWE is trying to make Talatonga into a monster.

07:31If you are going to have 52 weeks of television a year,

10:36And on Raw,
10:37they come up with finishes like Seth Rollins versus Brod Breaker.
10:40So I just think we should do more than that.

10:42given that the rest of the matches we are going to talk about today
10:44also have distractions,
10:45I'm just going to give it a down now so we can move on.
10:48That's what happened at the end as well,
10:49because Charlotte Flair got wrecked by B-Fab
10:51when Tiffany Stratton forgot she was in a match.
10:53She went to the top rope,
10:54which was a terrible idea,

11:14Fatal Influence aren't doing much of anything anymore.

11:17these women's tag team titles,
11:18the one thing I don't want is to them disappear into the abyss.
11:21And that's what's happening right now.
11:23When R-Truth went and found Royce Keyes,

11:25I think we should be nice to Damien Priest and become a trio to take on the MFTs.
11:30Royce Keyes said,

11:31We then got to Ricky Saints versus Carmella Hayes part three.
11:34I'm just going to keep this one short and sweet.

11:38They have such good chemistry.

11:40given now that Trick Williams is out the king of the ring,

11:43we can get to the three-way.
11:45But ultimately,
11:45after they've gone back and forth and tease,
11:47and Ricky Saints have been a massive asshole,
11:49he went mega a-hole,
11:50because even though Carmella Hayes hit the most devastating move in all of sports entertainment,
11:54surprise rollout,
11:55Ricky reversed it,
11:56he held the tights,
11:57and he finally got a win over Carmella Hayes.
11:59Now they're one-on-one with one draw,
12:01I guess you'd call it.
12:02Now they can both say,
12:03we should be the US champion.
12:04Love this.

12:07Trick Williams then got interrupted by Brom Breaker,

12:13Raw people could just turn up with no aplomb,
12:15because Gunther wasn't allowed to do that.
12:17When we also got a Blake Monroe video,
12:19and this week she was focused on Tiffany Straton.
12:21Last week it was Rhea Ripley,
12:23so if I was going to hazard a guess,
12:25WWE doesn't really know what to do with her.
12:26We also had a video of Chelsea Green saying,
12:28Tiffany Straton,
12:28please be my best friend.
12:30Tiffany said,

12:31Well, for some reason,
12:32it was Chelsea Green versus Lash Legend.
12:34Now as we already talked about,
12:35Nia Jax just kept interfering,
12:37but again,
12:37we've left it in the past,
12:38and we can move on.
12:39And basically,
12:40as soon as Chelsea Green went for the unprettier,
12:42Lash was like,
12:43actually,
12:43I'm really damn strong.
12:44She turned it into the Lash extension,
12:46and she just pinned Chelsea Green for the 1-2-3.
12:49So once again,
12:50Chelsea is going to need a friend.
12:51It should be Tiffany Straton,
12:52but maybe not do,
12:53because she has to deal with Jade Cargill.
12:54But listen,
12:55for what it was,
12:55it was perfectly fine.
12:56I have no idea where any of these people are going,
12:59but just sat down here on a Friday night watching it,

13:03I mean,
13:03you wouldn't write home about it,
13:04but it did the job.
13:05So there's a co-ed then for Royce Keyes,

13:07this goes back to what we were talking about,
13:08because he was all like,

13:09I understand we just beat your ass
13:10and cheated to win a match,
13:12but look at what Roman Reigns is doing.
13:13Look what Jacob Fatui is doing.
13:14They don't care about you.
13:16No one picks up the phone and asks how Royce Keyes is.
13:18So you should join the MFTs,
13:20because the war is coming,
13:21MFTs versus the Bloodline,
13:22and you can be on our side.
13:24And do not forget that after Clash in Italy,
13:26was it,
13:26Roman Reigns did mention Royce Keyes' name.
13:29So now I'm starting to think that Royce may join the FFTs,
13:31and you know what?
13:32Why not?
13:33There's nothing else to do,
13:34and at least he'd be in a main event program.
13:36Chad Gable also apologised to Ray Phoenix after this,
13:38because of course he now understands
13:40how important lucha culture is.
13:42Phoenix was great.
13:43He was like,

13:43But you've got to apologise to somebody else as well,
13:45which I guess means Rey Mysterio.
13:47But wait and see.
13:48When we learn about the whole Gunther-Cody Rhodes rematch
13:50in two weeks with the stipulations,
13:52it all came down to lawyers.
13:54Flippin' lawyers.
13:55Well,
13:55it was indeed Brom Breaker versus Dominic Mysterio
13:57versus Damian Priest versus Trick Williams,
13:59and of course this was good.
14:01I still think the WWE has copped out
14:03with these first round King of the Ring matches
14:04by making them four ways.
14:06But when you have four dudes in there
14:07that have this kind of name,
14:09this kind of star power,
14:10how the flop could you not enjoy it?
14:12I also love the fact that Dominic Mysterio won,
14:14because even though Wade Barrett was like,
14:15oh my gosh,
14:15it's the greatest day ever,
14:16we then cut to the bracket,
14:18and it is Dominic Mysterio versus Obafemi.
14:21You have no idea how much I want that match,
14:23and actually both guys could benefit.
14:25If you let Obafemi be Obafemi,
14:27you let Dominic Mysterio be Dominic Mysterio,
14:28they will come out the other side smelling like cheese.
14:30I'm very excited.
14:31Braun Breaker is just so damn flipping good as well,
14:33because he was just wrecking everybody
14:35until he did accidentally hit a spear and missed.
14:37When, yes,
14:38Liv Morgan started to get involved all of the time.
14:41We've already talked about this,
14:42like I say,
14:42so I will leave it.
14:44And ultimately,
14:44that is why Demi Priest did lose.
14:46He had the match all to himself,
14:47and he's about to finish off Dom,
14:49when Liv just got in the ring,
14:50and whacked Demi Priest right in the balls.
14:54Dom Mysterio hit the 619,
14:55he got the splash of the frogs,
14:57one, two, three.
14:58Why WWE couldn't have just left until now
15:00to do the distractions,
15:01I don't know,
15:02but what you gonna do?
15:03There's also a great bit as well,
15:04when Trick Williams had the match run as well,
15:05because he hit the Trick knee,
15:06and Dom Mysterio pulled the referee out the ring.
15:09And because the crowd was electric on this evening,
15:11I tell you,
15:12it was such a good fun main event,
15:13I had a jolly old good time.
15:15You also had Braun Breaker and Trick Williams
15:16going flying through the announce table,
15:18so maybe that's a tease for something we can do in the future,
15:20because they are both tippity-top stars,
15:22and they'll get there eventually.
15:23But yes,
15:23I am gonna give it an up.
15:25I wouldn't have predicted that Dom Mysterio
15:26was gonna be able to get through this,
15:28and that's why it was fun
15:29that the Judgment Day were such dickheads,
15:31he was like,
15:31ha ha,
15:32I'm the cat that got the cream,
15:33even though he did cheat his way there.
15:35But listen,
15:35Don't It vs. Oba Femi will be good,
15:37and in terms of a main event on SmackDown,
15:39up.

15:42which is why the referee was looking in a different direction,

15:47we're SmackDown,
15:47it's such a mixed bag,
15:48but I think actually,
15:49maybe just because of the mood I'm in,
15:51and because of the quality of the matches,
15:52I shall give it an up.
