00:00All right, we do this each and every Monday, weekend's best, weekend's worst.
00:05I see some people rolling in with theirs.
00:07Somebody texted in and said their weekend's worst is the Lakers.
00:10They are now dead man walking.
00:12Baby, they were dead man walking before the series started.
00:17I told you that.
00:19They've actually been more competitive than I think,
00:22certainly more competitive than the scores have indicated.
00:25But they're losing the rope.
00:27Yeah, right, because you're obviously watching the games.
00:30They are competitive for anywhere from two to three quarters,
00:33maybe even a little bit more than that.
00:34They've led the last two games.
00:36Yeah.
00:37Yeah, they've made this.
00:39At the half.
00:39At the half.
00:40They've led the last two games.
00:41They've made this series way more competitive than the final score or box score indicates
00:46and way more competitive than I think people thought it was going to be.
00:49They just aren't good enough.
00:51No.
00:52And OKC can just turn it on whenever they want to with their second best player not playing.
00:58And he can close his eyes and just walk down and touch people and say,
01:03all right, go in.
01:03And if I need 15 from you, go get it.
01:06Yeah.
01:07Well, and they can just go.
01:08They can go to anybody.
01:10Yeah.
01:10Like it could be Jared McCain.
01:13It could be Isaiah Joe.
01:16It could be Kaysom Wallace.
01:18It can be like it's just anybody.
01:20Of course, Chet is there.
01:22All right, I'm going to start with – I'm going to start my weekend's best.
01:25My weekend's best is shout-out to my daughter and the Sienna Dynamite.
01:30They won a 9-U championship, Tyler and Brandon.
01:33They pulled it through.
01:35Now, we had to get up there at 9 o'clock in the morning, played a day game.
01:39They ran through the playoffs, had a couple of real tight ones.
01:42Shout-out to the Shock.
01:43Pretty good.
01:44But the Bombers, who they took out in the championship game, 10-8 win.
01:49But they got the dub, baby.
01:51They got a nice little ring in there.
01:53They got a little gold ring and everything.
01:54They got jewelry, hardware.
01:56Yeah, they got a little hardware, won a championship.
01:58Yeah, it was –
01:59I'm not mad at that.
01:59It was a nice shout-out to Coach David.
02:01Kyle, who was just sending everybody from first base.
02:04Just sending everybody.
02:06Albert pitched his ass off Alex.
02:07It was great.
02:08Only lived once, baby.
02:09Yeah, there you go.
02:10Won a championship.
02:11Well, Sienna Dynamite.
02:13So, it was fun watching them and getting the dub.
02:17So, my weekend's best is to the old Sienna Dynamite, baby.
02:22Lowe came up big, though.
02:23Yeah.
02:23Played for three, man.
02:24She drove in several runs, too, in that game.
02:26Emory, shout-out to Emory.
02:28Shout-out to the whole crew.
02:29Shout-out Corey out there balling.
02:31I see you.
02:31All of you.
02:32Hell of a job.
02:33I love it.
02:34Love it.
02:35Your weekend's best.
02:36Mine has got to be the New York Knicks.
02:39Of course, a beleaguered New York Knicks franchise that has not been to the finals since 1999.
02:47So, they get to party like it's that.
02:49They get to actually, because I honestly think that between the flawed Detroit Pistons, who are very good but flawed,
02:57and whatever it is the Cavs got going on, the Knicks have all but ensured that they are going to
03:03the finals now.
03:03We'll see what happens when they get there for whoever that Western Conference opponent is.
03:07They were just calling for Mike Brown's job when they got down to the Hawks in that first-round series.
03:11Life comes at you fast, which is why I say this is a major win for them.
03:17Basically, to be able to finish this series in short order, a sweep, and it looks like that Cavs-Pistons
03:23series could be pretty.
03:25It's already longer than this one is and could be even longer.
03:28However, you have done yourself a lot of favors, so I think that the Knicks, for what they're doing right
03:33now,
03:33and especially like Jalen Brunson, that whole crew, doing what they're doing, also without OG and Anobi right now,
03:38I think they deserve a lot of credit, a lot of acknowledgement, and respect for it.
03:41So, I'm going to call them the big winner of the weekend.
03:43All right, I'll let you jump in.
03:45Your weekend's worst, by the way, seeing some people come in.
03:48Weekend's best, Mauricio Dubon, three-run double for the Braves on Mother's Day.
03:53That feels like a punch right to the nuts.
03:56Thank you, friend.
03:56Yeah, that was another move made there by old Dana.
04:02Big shot Dana in the building.
04:04Yeah.
04:04But at least you have Nick Allen.
04:07Right.
04:08I kept it real as a true professional myself.
04:11Right.
04:12Everything's good, right?
04:13Everything's good.
04:14I think Clint's going to really turn on Nick Allen in a bad way if this continues.
04:18They really need Payne to get back soon.
04:20Yeah.
04:20I mean, he's a punching bag for Clint.
04:22All right, what's your weekend's worst?
04:27My weekend's worst has to be the lottery losers.
04:30I'm going to cheat here a little bit and go a two-parter because I think two teams really lost.
04:35That, to me, is the Indiana Pacers, of course, because they kind of tanked or made that zoo box trade,
04:44not thinking that they were at least thinking that they would have a top five pick.
04:47And they do not.
04:49And their pick is now going to go, because it was unprotected, it's now going to go to the Los
04:54Angeles Clippers.
04:55And so they basically traded the fifth overall pick in the draft for zoo box.
04:59Yeah.
05:00And that's not exactly ideal.
05:02And this is a draft where you may be able to get a really good Acuff Jr.
05:07Could be there at five.
05:09Could be Acuff Jr.
05:10Could one of those top four could fall, right?
05:13And be there, whether it's Caleb Wilson or even if it's one of the boozers, if they were a camp
05:19boozer, obviously.
05:20Maybe Darren Peterson.
05:21Maybe Darren Peterson falls.
05:23I doubt it.
05:25But all of that is in play.
05:26By the way, Tyler, creatine.
05:28That was the cramping problem.
05:30Too much creatine.
05:32That they found in his blood work.
05:34That feels like an easy fix.
05:35Hopefully.
05:36It would have been.
05:36That'd be nice.
05:37But what is it, 2005?
05:39He's taking creatine?
05:40High levels.
05:41High dosages.
05:41Blood work after the year is what it was.
05:43Is he a throwback?
05:45Wow, big fella.
05:46So I've got the Pacers, but then I also got to have a Brooklyn Nets.
05:51I got to have a Brooklyn Nets as a loser as well,
05:53because they intentionally tanked over the last couple of years.
05:56All right?
05:57Had one of the worst records in the NBA the last couple of years
06:00and don't have a top five pick to show for it.
06:03All right?
06:04So they fall out of the top five.
06:05And then also next year, doesn't really incentivize them to be bad,
06:09even though they will be, because the Rockets have their pick next year.
06:12So those are the losers, ultimate losers for me at a weekend.
06:16The Indiana Pacers and the Brooklyn Nets.
06:18All right, my weekend's worst are kind of with your best.
06:24What the New York Knicks did to the Philadelphia 76ers and their fans is a sad, sad thing.
06:31I mean, I don't know what is getting into the Knicks on these closeout games,
06:34but they are going for blood and killing teams.
06:37I mean, I looked up again.
06:39I shout out.
06:40I went to a Space Cowboys game.
06:43Courtney wanted to go to a Space Cowboys game for some reason on Mother's Day,
06:46so we went to the Space Cowboys game.
06:47They're fun.
06:48It was fun.
06:49I pulled up my phone, and it was halftime.
06:53They were up 81 to, I think, 30-something.
06:56I don't know what it was, but it was very similar to what they did to the Hawks
07:00in that closeout game.
07:02They beat them 144-114, beat the, I mean, breaks off of them.
07:06And then this is what happened with the Philadelphia fans.
07:11After the game, this is where the Knicks sent these fans on Mother's Day.
07:16I ain't going to lie.
07:17This is a Mother's Day massacre.
07:18I left my mom, you know what I mean?
07:20It's been time thinking that I'm going down with the shit, but I'm going down with the shit,
07:25so I got to make it up to my mom.
07:26Sell the team, fire the ignorance, everybody, go on, go on, go on.
07:30Like Kyle Lowry coach.
07:31We're getting clowned.
07:32And, yeah, I got nothing.
07:35I think it was game six a few years ago when the Knicks beat us here,
07:38and we walked out and they were chanting like this.
07:41It's worse this year.
07:42They got a way better defense.
07:44I love Joel, and I hope he stays.
07:47I love the whole team.
07:48They did amazing, but it's just heartbreaking.
07:51It really is.
07:53It's a wrap.
07:55This is what they do in Philly, though.
07:58That lady, she needed more than a hug.
08:02She needs to get a hold of herself.
08:03You got your ass kicked too hard to be at this point, right?
08:07Like, she was straight boo-hooing.
08:09She is crying.
08:11The water works.
08:12My man said he left his mother on Mother's Day to come out here to watch this.
08:16Yeah.
08:16Sounds about right.
08:17Dude, if sports fan overreaction, like, had a face or a voice,
08:23it would be somebody from Philly.
08:25It would be a Philly sports fan's face and voice.
08:28Remember what they did several years back to Nelson Aguilar?
08:31It was a dude who, like, saved a child from a burning building,
08:35and they were, like, dropping kids from the building.
08:37He's like, but I was catching them, though.
08:39Unlike Aguilar, did that, like, right on the news.
08:41And it was like, where did that come from?
08:43How are you saving babies from a burning building,
08:46but you're still angry about Nelson Aguilar drops?
08:51This is what they do in Philly, man.
08:52They're insane.
08:53I'm not going to lie.
08:53He had a lot of drops.
08:54He did have a lot of drops.
08:55Nobody said the man was wrong.
08:58We could just tell he was hurt.
08:59He was triggered.
09:01And then Joel Embiid found his inner Emai and just started saying,
09:06yeah, I know it looks bad now, but I consider this a success.
09:10Yeah, that's like the thing now.
09:13Is that this generation of athlete now?
09:15What are you talking about?
09:16There is no such thing as failure.
09:18Swept and your clock cleaned in the final game.
09:21And my man said, I consider it a success.
09:23He's just being consistent with his generation of players.
09:27Jalen Brown said it was his favorite season.
09:29And they blew a 3-1 lead,
09:31and they didn't have their best player for much of it.
09:33He's won a championship.
09:35He won the finals MVP.
09:37And Eastern Conference finals MVP.
09:39But this is his favorite.
09:41Oh, Lord.
09:41All right, man.
09:43That's a damn shame what the Dicks are doing to these teams
09:46and sent that lady into tears from Philly.
09:47She ought to be ashamed of herself.
09:49Y'all were down by 40, ma'am.
09:51You had enough time to get yourself together.
09:53She's invested.
09:53Good Lord.
09:54She's invested, man.
09:55She's invested, man.
09:55She's invested, man.
