00:00:15Roar the Lions!
00:00:25I was a soft kid. I was sensitive, I'd cry easy, and I would be scared to fist fight.
00:00:31And my mother used to tell me this thing, I don't even know if you remember, but you said this
00:00:35to me more than once.
00:00:36You said, son, sometimes you have to be a lion so you can be the lamb you really are.
00:00:44I talk this shit like a lion.
00:00:47Pumpkin, friend, boss, class, flashlights, sword, ring, waddle, you're brought to you.
00:00:51You're in no seal no more.
00:00:52You're making this a skill where we learn a monster.
00:00:56You're late and destiny, like a natural disaster.
00:00:59No doubt, leave some of the peace I'm warning you about.
00:01:02Bloody rain and thunder, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
00:01:05no, no.
00:01:05I have fun, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:01:07I am running from my shadows, but we all speed play.
00:01:10I am a sheriff, my babylon can't break.
00:01:13I am a servant.
00:01:16Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:01:22Oh, no.
00:01:29Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
00:01:36Oh
00:02:02Thank you
00:02:11Thank you very much
00:02:13Please everyone
00:02:15Have a seat
00:02:16Be comfortable
00:02:35We got a lot to talk about
00:02:41Now I gotta tell you
00:02:43I gotta tell you how this show
00:02:45came to be
00:02:47You guys know I live in Ohio
00:02:53In January
00:02:55When this nigga Trump
00:02:57And Elon
00:03:01Made this doge thing
00:03:03And cut all those government jobs
00:03:07The housing market
00:03:08In my hometown
00:03:10Plunged 20%
00:03:11In the first quarter
00:03:13And I don't mean
00:03:13To talk like a white
00:03:20But boy they did that
00:03:22Didn't they
00:03:25And then when this nigga deployed
00:03:27The National Guard
00:03:29In my hometown
00:03:31And took the police department
00:03:33From the mayor
00:03:33Oh D.C. niggas
00:03:35We don't like that
00:03:41But then my governor
00:03:43In Ohio
00:03:44Sent our National Guard
00:03:46To police my hometown
00:03:49And I called these niggas
00:03:50And said
00:03:51I'm pulling up
00:04:02Cause these niggas
00:04:03Is trying to take the chocolate
00:04:05Out of Chocolate City
00:04:10I said I gotta go home
00:04:12While it's still a city
00:04:13I remember
00:04:14And then I went on Instagram
00:04:16And saw all the protests
00:04:17In D.C.
00:04:17There was a bunch of white people
00:04:18Like
00:04:18Not on our streets
00:04:19I said
00:04:20Oh no
00:04:20It's too late
00:04:23These whites are entrenched
00:04:25Not on our goddamn streets
00:04:27You know
00:04:33This nigga Trump
00:04:34Was talking like
00:04:34He goes out to dinner
00:04:38It's not like that
00:04:40Yeah
00:04:41And I gotta tell you the truth
00:04:42This is not the only city
00:04:44This is happening in
00:04:46It's happening in California
00:04:47It's happening in Oregon
00:04:50It's happening in Illinois
00:04:51And it's happening
00:04:53In Memphis
00:04:54And niggas in Memphis
00:04:56They might need it
00:05:02You gotta be reasonable
00:05:03I don't know if you've been
00:05:04In Memphis recently
00:05:05But
00:05:05Them niggas already stole
00:05:07Two tanks from the National Guard
00:05:08So you already know
00:05:11You already know
00:05:12You already know
00:05:13You know
00:05:16And I came here mad
00:05:17Ready to fight
00:05:18But when I drove through the city
00:05:20It looked clean guys
00:05:21I gotta tell you
00:05:22I gotta tell you
00:05:24It looked clean
00:05:29A lot better than the last time I was here
00:05:32Today I only saw one guy take his shit on the street
00:05:36But you know what?
00:05:37He had a bag
00:05:38That nigga pick it up
00:05:48I was waiting for somebody to do something about the homeless
00:05:50You know what's fucked up about D.C.?
00:05:52We're the nation's capital
00:05:53And nobody even gives a fuck about the homeless
00:05:55Let me tell you the truth
00:05:56I feel like I'm the only one that does
00:05:58Now y'all don't know this
00:06:00But quietly for the last two years
00:06:02I have been secretly working with Washington's homeless
00:06:05And I have spent
00:06:06Two million dollars already on my homeless project
00:06:15No, no, no
00:06:16Don't clap for me
00:06:17I didn't get any food or anything like that
00:06:19I just taught these niggas to thriller dance
00:06:23And you got a big treat coming up on Halloween
00:06:25You'll see
00:06:39And I'm sorry I didn't come home sooner
00:06:42But I've been very busy in Ohio
00:06:43And a lot of people say
00:06:44What are you doing out there?
00:06:45And I don't know if you know this
00:06:46But this is true
00:06:47I'll tell you what I've been doing
00:06:48The town that I've been living in
00:06:50For the last 25 years
00:06:52I bought most of it
00:06:58I like it there
00:07:01Ohio loves Trump
00:07:02But this town I live in
00:07:03Is like the little itty bitty
00:07:05Bernie Sanders Island in the Trump seat
00:07:10All the whites are poor out there
00:07:12But these are like the dirty hippie whites
00:07:14And I like them
00:07:17I like these whites
00:07:19And they like me too
00:07:22But you know what I learned about liberal white people?
00:07:24Liberal white people will let black people do whatever fuck they want
00:07:27Until you buy most of their town
00:07:33Oh, they frantled on that
00:07:35And whites got real suspicious
00:07:37But you know what?
00:07:39I don't blame them
00:07:41Because, no, for real
00:07:42Because, look
00:07:43If I was white
00:07:44And the people in this town were black
00:07:47You know what they'd say?
00:07:48They would say I was gentrifying the town
00:07:53But there's no word for what I'm doing to these people
00:08:00I own everything, nigga
00:08:01Everything
00:08:09I used to be mad at white people when I was young
00:08:11Because I thought they would unfail
00:08:13But now that I have all this property
00:08:15I understand them
00:08:16It's fun
00:08:18Feels good to walk up to white people like
00:08:20Are you supposed to be here?
00:08:25Calling the police
00:08:27It's funny
00:08:33I own so much property in this town
00:08:35And this is true
00:08:36These white people think I'm responsible for their well-being
00:08:39That's ridiculous
00:08:41Nigga, I'm not no public servant
00:08:42I'm a capitalist
00:08:45I'll be walking down the street
00:08:46Minding my own business
00:08:47And they come up to me with their concerns
00:08:49Dang
00:08:51Congratulations
00:08:52I'm buying the whole goddamn town
00:08:55But you need to start thinking about
00:08:57Some affordable housing around here
00:09:01And I'll be like
00:09:02Well, actually, champ
00:09:03I can afford my house
00:09:07That sounds like some shit
00:09:08You need to worry about
00:09:10Because if I think about it
00:09:11I can afford your house, too
00:09:14So if you want to sell
00:09:15Come holler at your boy
00:09:15I'm collecting the whole town
00:09:18I'm collecting the whole goddamn town
00:09:28You know, I don't know
00:09:28Where these poor whites got the money
00:09:31But not long ago
00:09:32These motherfuckers built
00:09:34A brand new fire station
00:09:36Out of the blue
00:09:36Where the fuck they get this money from?
00:09:38I was like, what the fuck is this?
00:09:40And then, you know what they did?
00:09:41This is some real racist shit
00:09:43They tried to sell
00:09:44The old fire station at an auction
00:09:46When they knew I was going to be out of town
00:09:51It's fucked up
00:09:53But it's far too late for that
00:09:56I got that whole town
00:09:57A-rigged with snitches
00:10:00Them niggas couldn't wait to tell me
00:10:02They was running up
00:10:02My lord
00:10:03My lord
00:10:04I have news, my lord
00:10:05I was like, what's going on?
00:10:07What is this you saying?
00:10:09A firehouse
00:10:14Nigga, I bought the firehouse
00:10:17I turned that motherfucker into a comedy and music club
00:10:21We be rocking in there
00:10:22Clips been there
00:10:22We all be out there rocking
00:10:26Every famous person I've ever met
00:10:28I asked him to play that club
00:10:30I seen Mick Jagger from the Rolling Stones at a party
00:10:33I said, yo Mick
00:10:34I said, Mick
00:10:34You gotta come to Ohio and play my club
00:10:36And he was into it
00:10:38He was like, oh lord
00:10:40He said, oh lord
00:10:42I like playing clubs
00:10:45He said, but tell me about the town
00:10:48I said, well what do you want to know
00:10:51And that nigga looked at me like
00:10:52Like, you know Mick Jagger look
00:10:54He said
00:10:56Are there girls there?
00:11:02I lied right in his face
00:11:03I was like, yeah
00:11:10He knew something was wrong
00:11:11He's like, no, no, no
00:11:14Come on Dave
00:11:15You know, like
00:11:15The kind of girls that I like
00:11:19I said, Mick
00:11:20I don't know
00:11:21I don't know what kind of girls you like
00:11:23I think he said
00:11:23You know
00:11:26You've heard my music
00:11:31Are there white bitches with dirty feet?
00:11:38I said, Mick
00:11:39You are going to love this place
00:11:44Mick, these bitches will put a ring around a public pool
00:11:50Dirty hippie pussy
00:11:51That's what I'm dealing with
00:11:57I'm not a drug guy at all, right
00:11:59But I am in show business
00:12:00You know what I mean?
00:12:02So I've been to every kind of party
00:12:03Now, I'm going to be honest with you
00:12:04I smoke weed
00:12:05But I don't consider weed a drug
00:12:13But you know
00:12:13How show business is
00:12:14I've been to cocaine parties
00:12:16I've been to weed parties
00:12:17I've been to all the parties
00:12:18And I'm just telling you the truth
00:12:19What I've seen
00:12:22Coke bitches are way prettier
00:12:23Than weed bitches are
00:12:27I've been looking at weed bitches like
00:12:28Damn bitches
00:12:28You sleep in those clothes?
00:12:30What the fuck's going on with you?
00:12:32No energy in their face
00:12:35They don't wear their bra all the time
00:12:37So the titties be sagging
00:12:41Get your dick out of my face, man
00:12:44That's how weed girl says
00:12:46Not gonna suck your cock, man
00:12:49My mouth is dry as a boom
00:12:55You ever get some weed hit?
00:12:57Feels gross, doesn't it?
00:13:00Feels like a cat sucking your dick
00:13:02Like what kind of
00:13:04How do you not have any moisture in your mouth?
00:13:06Bitch, go wet your whistle and try again
00:13:08Would you?
00:13:09Drink some water
00:13:11Yuck
00:13:14Yuck
00:13:24Recently in the news
00:13:27I've been getting a lot of grief
00:13:29Again
00:13:32Because I did a comedy festival in Saudi Arabia
00:13:40And you hear those cheers
00:13:43That's black people
00:13:48America's whites
00:13:50They're furious
00:13:52Boy, I gotta tell you something
00:13:54I've never not felt guilty about something
00:13:56Like I've never felt
00:13:57I don't feel
00:13:59I don't feel
00:14:00I don't feel guilty at all
00:14:03You know
00:14:04And Bill Maher
00:14:06The famous comedian
00:14:07I've known Bill
00:14:07Since I was like 18, 19 years old
00:14:09And I've never said this publicly
00:14:11But fuck that guy
00:14:14I'm so fucking tired
00:14:16There's a little smug
00:14:17Cracker ass commentary
00:14:21These motherfuckers act like
00:14:23Because I did a comedy festival
00:14:25In Saudi Arabia
00:14:25I somehow betrayed my principles
00:14:27Well
00:14:28No, no, I know I didn't
00:14:30I know
00:14:30No, no, no, no
00:14:32No, no, let me
00:14:33Come on, everybody
00:14:34Let me do this
00:14:37And I'm sure
00:14:38I know
00:14:39All right
00:14:40Now everybody calm down
00:14:42No, I'm sure I'm right
00:14:44First of all
00:14:45What did they say?
00:14:47They said
00:14:47They said
00:14:47Well
00:14:48They said
00:14:48Well
00:14:48They said
00:14:50Well
00:14:50Saudi Arabia
00:14:51Killed a journalist
00:14:52And
00:14:53Rest in peace
00:14:54Jamal Khashoggi
00:14:55I'm sorry that he got murdered
00:14:56In such a heinous fashion
00:14:57But
00:15:00And I'll bust
00:15:01Like, you know
00:15:01Period
00:15:02And
00:15:03Also
00:15:06I mean
00:15:07Look, bro
00:15:08Israel's killed
00:15:09240 journalists
00:15:12In the last three months
00:15:14So I didn't know
00:15:15I was still counting
00:15:21These niggas clowned me
00:15:22Because I was on stage
00:15:24In Saudi Arabia
00:15:25I didn't tell them
00:15:26To put this in the paper
00:15:27I just said it on stage
00:15:28I said
00:15:29It's easier to talk
00:15:30In Saudi Arabia
00:15:31For me
00:15:32Than it is in America
00:15:34And niggas felt
00:15:35Some kind of way
00:15:39Oh, I stand
00:15:40Ten toes on that
00:15:42Don't forget
00:15:43What I just went through
00:15:44Two years ago
00:15:45I almost got cancelled
00:15:46Right here in the United States
00:15:48For transgender jokes
00:15:49But I gotta tell you something
00:15:52Transgender jokes
00:15:53Went over very well
00:15:55In Saudi Arabia
00:16:02Them niggas couldn't get enough
00:16:03Of that shit
00:16:04I was in the pocket
00:16:05Nigga
00:16:06I was like
00:16:06Where have you been?
00:16:21Every article said
00:16:22The comedians
00:16:23Horde themselves out
00:16:24To a dictator
00:16:25But all the articles
00:16:27Have my picture on it
00:16:28And you know what
00:16:29I can't even get mad
00:16:30Because you know
00:16:31To be fair
00:16:32I did make more money
00:16:33Than all of those comedians
00:16:39I don't even work
00:16:40At Netflix no more
00:16:41Nigga
00:16:41You know what my new job is?
00:16:42I sit by the phone
00:16:43And wait for them Arabs
00:16:44To call me
00:16:45Can I help you guys?
00:16:47What do you need?
00:16:54I love working
00:16:55In the Middle East
00:16:56That's my second show
00:16:57I did over there
00:17:00I did a show
00:17:00Three months before that
00:17:02I was in Abu Dhabi
00:17:03Them niggas had
00:17:03A comedy festival too
00:17:05And let me tell you something
00:17:07Now y'all never been
00:17:07In the Middle East
00:17:08Here's some wild shit
00:17:09About them
00:17:10You might not know
00:17:10You know how everybody
00:17:11Got like a dog
00:17:12Around here
00:17:13Out there
00:17:14They don't fuck with dogs
00:17:15You know what they do?
00:17:16They got
00:17:16They got birds
00:17:18Falcons
00:17:18These niggas have
00:17:19As pets
00:17:20They have falcons
00:17:22I couldn't believe it
00:17:23I went to the mall
00:17:24I saw these niggas
00:17:25With falcons
00:17:26I'm like
00:17:26That shit is dope
00:17:27And you know
00:17:29Here in D.C.
00:17:30We might see like a pimp
00:17:31Here or there
00:17:32And that's
00:17:34But I've never seen
00:17:34A nigga pimp a bird
00:17:36That nigga just had the bird
00:17:36Like bring me a rabbit
00:17:38And that motherfucking bird
00:17:39Just bring this nigga a rabbit
00:17:41And he just give
00:17:41The bird a piece
00:17:42And eat the rest himself
00:17:45So I saw a guy
00:17:46At the mall
00:17:46With one of these falcons
00:17:47We were just talking
00:17:48About bullshit
00:17:49And I don't know what
00:17:50I don't know why
00:17:51I even thought to do this
00:17:52Something just came over me
00:17:53I said
00:17:53I said yo
00:17:54I said yo nigga
00:17:55Let me borrow that falcon
00:17:59He did it
00:18:01He gave me the mitten
00:18:02And he gave me the falcon
00:18:03Now
00:18:04I've done a lot of
00:18:05Fly shit in my life
00:18:06But the most rockstar shit
00:18:08I've ever done
00:18:09You never know
00:18:09What this feels like
00:18:10I walked into arena
00:18:11This size
00:18:1220,000 people screaming
00:18:13I had a live falcon
00:18:15On my arm
00:18:15Niggas went crazy
00:18:20Crowd was going nuts
00:18:21This is their national bird
00:18:22Now I don't know shit
00:18:23About the bird
00:18:25Turns out
00:18:27This species of falcon
00:18:28That was on my arm
00:18:29Is the single
00:18:31Fastest creature on earth
00:18:32I didn't know that
00:18:36Apparently when it hunts
00:18:37It flies straight up
00:18:40And then it dives down
00:18:41At 240 miles an hour
00:18:43They've clocked it at
00:18:44It strikes its prey dead
00:18:46And then it flies off
00:18:47And comes back
00:18:47And gets whatever it killed
00:18:49I didn't know that
00:18:51And when I was walking
00:18:52Through the arena
00:18:52The crowd was screaming
00:18:53But the falcon didn't panic
00:18:55Cause it had
00:18:56Some kind of mask on
00:18:57And that nigga
00:18:58Was just looking like
00:19:01But it didn't trip
00:19:03Now I didn't know
00:19:04This mask
00:19:05Is part of the falcon's training
00:19:08If you take the mask
00:19:09Off the falcon
00:19:10It will think
00:19:11That it's time to hunt
00:19:13Boy I wish he told me that
00:19:17Cause I was on stage
00:19:19Killing it
00:19:19And the falcon
00:19:20Was just looking all
00:19:21Stupid like this
00:19:21And I'm like
00:19:22Oh man
00:19:22This nigga can't even
00:19:23See the show
00:19:24So I took the mask off
00:19:30Man this falcon
00:19:31Lost this goddamn
00:19:32My mayhem ensued
00:19:34That motherfucker
00:19:34Flooded like this
00:19:35And flew off my arm
00:19:36And at first
00:19:37Everybody was clapping
00:19:37Yeah
00:19:38And that nigga
00:19:39Dove down
00:19:41240 miles an hour
00:19:43Killed a bitch
00:19:44In the third row
00:19:47And it was a transgender
00:19:48And it was a transgender bitch
00:19:49When it hit her
00:19:49Her dick popped out
00:19:53Everybody screamed
00:19:54I was like
00:19:55Oh shit
00:19:58I didn't know what to do
00:20:00I didn't know what to do
00:20:02Next thing I know
00:20:03The police
00:20:03The Arab police
00:20:04Came
00:20:06And these things
00:20:06Just ushered me off stage
00:20:07I didn't realize
00:20:08That I was under arrest
00:20:09I said what's the meaning of this
00:20:13Clearly these guys
00:20:14Know it was an accident
00:20:16And the next thing I know
00:20:18They charged me
00:20:20With murder
00:20:21I said murder
00:20:23The fuck
00:20:24This was an accident
00:20:27And then they hit me
00:20:28In the court
00:20:29And these niggas
00:20:30Started reading transcripts
00:20:31Of all my transgender jokes
00:20:34Trying to act like
00:20:35I killed this bitch
00:20:36On purpose
00:20:37I said I didn't even know
00:20:38This bitch was trans
00:20:39Till her dick popped out
00:20:41This is the goddamn outrage
00:20:43I'm an American
00:20:52I still didn't think
00:20:53I was going to get in trouble
00:20:54But at the end of the case
00:20:55This is the only word
00:20:56In the whole trial
00:20:57I understood
00:20:57That nigga said
00:20:58Guilty
00:20:58I said what
00:21:01And my whole life
00:21:03Flashed before my eyes
00:21:04I said I wish
00:21:05I never came out here
00:21:08You're probably wondering
00:21:09How I'm here tonight
00:21:12Well I didn't know
00:21:13This at the time
00:21:13But I found out
00:21:14Lucky for me
00:21:15Killing a transgender
00:21:16In the Middle East
00:21:17Misdemeanor
00:21:29Yeah it's way easier to talk
00:21:34In Saudi Arabia
00:21:41Jimmy Kimmel got cancelled
00:21:44Let me tell you something too
00:21:46Not only did they cancel
00:21:47Jimmy Kimmel
00:21:48This guy Carr
00:21:49That runs the FCC
00:21:50Had the nerve to say
00:21:52That Kimmel
00:21:53If he wanted to get back
00:21:55On television
00:21:56I don't know
00:21:56If Carr said this
00:21:57Somebody said this
00:21:58They said this nigga
00:21:59Has to pay Charlie Kirk's
00:22:02Turning Point USA
00:22:03Foundation money
00:22:04To get back on
00:22:05Now think about that
00:22:06No think about it
00:22:07Elon Musk
00:22:09Bought the election
00:22:10For Trump
00:22:11Because the Supreme Court
00:22:13Said that money
00:22:14Was free speech
00:22:18So you can spend your money
00:22:20However you want to speak
00:22:21But if they make this nigga
00:22:23Pay some money
00:22:24For some shit
00:22:25He doesn't believe in
00:22:26Well then they're compelling him
00:22:29To say something
00:22:30That he does not mean
00:22:38And six million
00:22:40Oh excuse me
00:22:45Listen
00:22:47I made a lot of money
00:22:50But I'll take money
00:22:52From Saudi Arabia
00:22:53Any day
00:22:54Just so I can say no
00:22:55Over here
00:22:56It feels good
00:22:57To be free
00:23:00And I know that
00:23:01The people in Saudi Arabia
00:23:03Can't say all the things
00:23:04That I was allowed to say
00:23:05But a deal's a deal
00:23:06And the king said
00:23:07That I could say these things
00:23:10So I looked at it
00:23:11Like I was on
00:23:12A diplomatic mission
00:23:14I gotta bring pussy jokes
00:23:15To the Middle East
00:23:18Cause they got all that pussy
00:23:19Over there
00:23:19And they can't even
00:23:20Talk about it
00:23:22I said I'll do it
00:23:29Shit ain't what it used to be
00:23:30Is it
00:23:33This nigga Puff
00:23:33Got 50 months
00:23:43I don't like talking about this
00:23:45But I'm gonna do it
00:23:52Here's my thing about Puffy
00:23:55And I gotta state my bias
00:24:01Years ago I got attacked
00:24:03On stage
00:24:07In California
00:24:08At the Hollywood Bowl
00:24:09Now this was a long time ago
00:24:11At this time
00:24:11Charlie Kirk was alive and well
00:24:19This is another reason
00:24:20It's hard to talk in America
00:24:21Cause you know
00:24:22If you talk for a living
00:24:24And see Charlie Kirk
00:24:24Get murdered that way
00:24:25I'm gonna be honest nigga
00:24:27I was shook
00:24:30I mean
00:24:31Charlie Kirk
00:24:32Is the wholesome white guy
00:24:34And if they killed
00:24:35This motherfucker
00:24:36I said these whites
00:24:42We've never seen them
00:24:43Like this
00:24:46They're playing for keeps
00:24:48And then remember
00:24:49The next day
00:24:50In the news
00:24:51When all the information
00:24:52Was still shoddy
00:24:53They came out
00:24:54They were like
00:24:55Apparently
00:24:55There were
00:24:57Transgender messages
00:24:58Inscribed on the bullets
00:24:59I was at home like
00:25:00Oh no
00:25:04I'm dead as fried chicken
00:25:13And then weeks later
00:25:15They said
00:25:15What was written on the bullets
00:25:17One of the bullets had
00:25:19Bella chow
00:25:20Bella chow
00:25:20Bella Bella
00:25:21Bella chow
00:25:21Written on it
00:25:23Another bullet had
00:25:24Written on it
00:25:25If you're reading this
00:25:26You're gay
00:25:30I was at home like
00:25:31Nigga I'm gonna need
00:25:32To see these bullets
00:25:33How the fuck
00:25:34Is this nigga
00:25:35Writing whole paragraphs
00:25:36On bullets
00:25:37How big are these bullets
00:25:39What is this nigga
00:25:40A watchmaker
00:25:40He can inscribe all this shit
00:25:42On a bullet
00:25:50I'm not making light
00:25:51Of Charlie Kirk dying
00:25:53But I'm not sure
00:25:54What it means
00:25:54And I'm not sure
00:25:55I believe
00:25:56What they say it means
00:25:57I'll tell you
00:25:57What I don't believe
00:25:58And the whites
00:25:59Were quick to say this
00:26:00They said
00:26:00Charlie Kirk
00:26:01Is this generation's
00:26:03Martin Luther King
00:26:05No
00:26:07He's not
00:26:11Yeah that's
00:26:13That's a reach
00:26:16You know
00:26:17They both got murdered
00:26:18In a terrible fashion
00:26:19They both got shot
00:26:20In the neck
00:26:21But that's about
00:26:21Where those similarities end
00:26:24Because Charlie Kirk
00:26:25Is a motherfucking
00:26:29Internet personality
00:26:30No
00:26:31By design
00:26:32Fundamentally
00:26:33He can't function
00:26:33Like Dr. King
00:26:34Internet niggas
00:26:36Are negative
00:26:37Because they have to be
00:26:38Because nobody
00:26:39Will engage them
00:26:40Unless they say shit
00:26:42That makes them upset
00:26:43That's
00:26:44Charlie Kirk
00:26:46Could you imagine
00:26:48Dr. King
00:26:48Was behaving like
00:26:49Charlie Kirk
00:26:50Smash that like button
00:26:52And subscribe
00:26:55Follow me
00:26:55For more content
00:26:57Like this
00:27:00I believe
00:27:01All black people
00:27:02Should be free
00:27:02Change my mind
00:27:11The congress
00:27:13Took a vote
00:27:14That October 14th
00:27:16Will be
00:27:16Charlie Kirk
00:27:17Remembrance Day
00:27:18And everybody
00:27:19Voted for it
00:27:21No
00:27:21No
00:27:22No
00:27:23I'm not gonna
00:27:24Boo it
00:27:24You can
00:27:24Remember
00:27:25Hey
00:27:25No
00:27:25No
00:27:26Remember that
00:27:27Nigga
00:27:27If you want to
00:27:29And remember
00:27:30Them however
00:27:31You want to
00:27:32But I do know
00:27:33That most of
00:27:34Those congresspeople
00:27:35Voted for that
00:27:36Because they're
00:27:36Afraid of
00:27:37Political violence
00:27:38I'm telling you
00:27:39It's easier
00:27:40To talk
00:27:40In Saudi Arabia
00:27:49I was on stage
00:27:50Not long ago
00:27:51In the states
00:27:52And the niggas
00:27:52Got mad
00:27:53Because I said
00:27:53Well you know
00:27:54Maybe Puff
00:27:54Will get off
00:27:55And I said
00:27:55I hope so
00:27:56And the crowd
00:27:56Was like
00:27:57Boo
00:27:58Okay look
00:27:59It's not that
00:28:00I think Puff
00:28:01Is right
00:28:01But when I
00:28:02Got attacked
00:28:02In LA
00:28:03At the Hollywood
00:28:04Bowl
00:28:04People forget
00:28:06Puff
00:28:07Was the guy
00:28:07That tackled
00:28:08My attacker
00:28:10He saved
00:28:11My life
00:28:12That's a hard
00:28:13Nigga to be mad at
00:28:14After that
00:28:16I had security
00:28:17That night
00:28:18But you know
00:28:18What I mean
00:28:18The niggas
00:28:19Wasn't ready
00:28:20Them niggas
00:28:21Had some slippery
00:28:21Shoes on
00:28:22But something
00:28:22They ran out
00:28:23All them niggas
00:28:24Slipped and fell
00:28:26And Puffy
00:28:27Got my attacker
00:28:28And tackled him
00:28:29And then years later
00:28:30When I heard
00:28:31About that baby
00:28:31I was like
00:28:32What
00:28:32Did those niggas
00:28:34Slip on
00:28:451,000 bottles
00:28:46Of baby oil
00:28:47That's a lie
00:28:50Remember
00:28:51He wasn't on trial
00:28:52For having
00:28:521,000 bottles
00:28:53Of baby oil
00:28:54Because it's not
00:28:55A crime
00:28:56To have
00:28:571,000 bottles
00:28:57Of baby oil
00:28:58It's gross
00:29:02It's not illegal
00:29:06And I'm gonna tell you
00:29:06Something else
00:29:07I haven't said
00:29:08But this is true
00:29:10In L.A. one night
00:29:11I shouldn't even tell
00:29:13I fuck it
00:29:15I've been to
00:29:16Puffy's house
00:29:22No, I didn't see
00:29:23Look
00:29:23No, I didn't see
00:29:24None of the stuff
00:29:25They said in that trial
00:29:26I walked to that
00:29:27Niggas living room
00:29:28House was clean
00:29:29Traction on the floor
00:29:30Nothing slippery
00:29:31Walk right through
00:29:35Perfectly normal evening
00:29:37The only thing
00:29:40The only thing
00:29:41In hindsight
00:29:41But at the time
00:29:42It didn't mean
00:29:42Nothing to me
00:29:44I didn't think
00:29:45About it
00:29:45Until after
00:29:45I found all
00:29:46That stuff out
00:29:46But in hindsight
00:29:47It was fucked up
00:29:48But we was
00:29:48On this back patio
00:29:49And we was
00:29:50Drinking and laughing
00:29:51Talking
00:29:51And then
00:29:52Niggas puffs
00:29:52Start swirling
00:29:53His drink
00:29:53Like this
00:29:54And he goes
00:29:57He goes
00:29:58So Dave
00:30:03He goes
00:30:04What are you
00:30:05Into
00:30:09You know me
00:30:09I was like
00:30:10I don't know
00:30:11Niggas
00:30:11Books
00:30:11Video games
00:30:19I didn't know
00:30:20That was my
00:30:20Big chance
00:30:21To fuck
00:30:21Cassie
00:30:31God bless her
00:30:35I'm not
00:30:35I'm not making
00:30:36Lie to her
00:30:36That what she
00:30:37Went through
00:30:37Was terrible
00:30:38But remember
00:30:38Remember
00:30:39Because they
00:30:40Kept showing
00:30:40This video
00:30:40Of him beating
00:30:41Her up
00:30:41In a hotel
00:30:42Hallway
00:30:42It was a terrible
00:30:43Video
00:30:45But he wasn't
00:30:46On trial for that
00:30:47If you remember
00:30:48He paid her
00:30:49For that
00:30:49Before the federal
00:30:51Charges
00:30:51Whatever came up
00:30:52He paid her
00:30:5335 million dollars
00:30:54Is what I heard
00:30:55Which doesn't make
00:30:56It right
00:30:56But I mean
00:30:57Come on
00:30:57I do know
00:30:58Niggas
00:30:58That have
00:30:59Fought Floyd
00:30:59Mayweather
00:31:00For less money
00:31:00Than that
00:31:02And them
00:31:03Niggas had to
00:31:03Fight for 36 minutes
00:31:13But Cassie
00:31:14Is a gangster
00:31:16She did something
00:31:17That I wouldn't
00:31:18Wish on my
00:31:19Worst enemy
00:31:19She had to
00:31:20Testify
00:31:20About her
00:31:21Sex life
00:31:22Boy that's
00:31:23Tough
00:31:23God save
00:31:24Us all
00:31:25From that
00:31:27Anything
00:31:27You say
00:31:28About sex
00:31:28Publicly

00:44:28Fact
00:44:30It
00:44:30Took
00:44:31An
00:44:31Act
00:44:31Of
00:44:31Congress
00:44:33To
00:44:33Stop
00:44:34Them
00:44:37Congressman
00:44:37named Mann from Illinois came up with an act called the Mann Act. The Mann Act is the law
00:44:43that says it is illegal to take a woman across state lines for the purposes of debauchery.
00:44:49And my line of work, gotta know shit like that. Jack Johnson got tried, prosecuted, convicted of
00:44:59the Mann Act, fled the country, was on the run for years, and it ruined his life. And then finally
00:45:04in 1946, he died in the United States in a car crash. But before he died, this is one
00:45:09of my favorite quotes that any American ever said, he said, I risked everything for my pleasure.
00:45:30You know, having freedom is one thing. Not having freedom is another thing. But using freedom
00:45:38that you don't have takes an enormous amount of courage, no matter how selfish you are with
00:45:43it. Jack Johnson is an American riddle that we've got to solve. Not too long ago, but some
00:45:53years ago, I was here in Washington. I was at the MGM at the National Harbor. And I wasn't
00:46:01performing. I was at a Stevie Wonder show. And Stevie Wonder didn't know I was there. I was
00:46:08on the side stage. I got there late. He was already doing the show. And this was a very
00:46:15special night. It was the night before Aretha Franklin's funeral. And Aretha Franklin was
00:46:27a very special person to me. The first time I ever played Radio City, she gave me a job
00:46:31as her opening act. Mean boss, but great, great, great, great, great, great, great artist.
00:46:38And Steve was on stage killing it. And then in the middle of his set, he started to sing
00:46:45a medley of all the songs that he had ever written for Aretha Franklin. And man, I got
00:46:51to tell you, it was a lot. Huge hits that I didn't even know he wrote. And the crowd was
00:46:56grooving and celebrating her life. And just suddenly, in the middle of it, Stevie broke
00:47:03down crying, put his head down on the piano, and I could hear him sob. And I was drunk.
00:47:13And it hurts a man to hear another man cry. And I didn't even think about it. I was like,
00:47:18I must go to him. And I just walked out on stage. And you know, it was home. When the
00:47:25crowd
00:47:25saw me, they started cheering. But Stevie didn't know it was me. That nigga was looking like that
00:47:30song. And I sat down next to me at the piano. And I go, Steve, it's me. And then he
00:47:50smiled real
00:47:51big. And we started cracking jokes and singing songs. And then after the show, we were backstage.
00:47:58And he asked me, he said, what are you doing tomorrow? I said, I'm going to fly to Detroit
00:48:06with you. Pay my respects to Ms. Franklin. And he said, no. That time, the senator had just
00:48:16passed away. The late, great John McCain had passed away. And Stevie said, I need you to
00:48:23do me a favor. He said, John McCain is laying in state at the Capitol. He said, I want you
00:48:31to go pay our respects to him. And I said, nigga, I would much rather go to Detroit with you.
00:48:49And then Stevie gave me that look. He just looked like this. He didn't even know I was
00:48:53all the way over here, didn't he? So I went. The next day, I went to the Capitol. I don't
00:49:03do this for anyone but Stevie Wonder. He didn't tell me to do anything within reason. The only
00:49:06thing he's told me to do that I won't do is stop smoking. That I won't do yet. But I
00:49:13did
00:49:13it. I waited in line. And then I got all the way up to Senator McCain's casket. And I was
00:49:17just like, uh, Stevie Wonder sent me. Goodbye, nigga. And I just walked off. But that's what
00:49:26he wanted us. I did it. A lot of people don't know this. But people from Washington know this
00:49:37who are my age. A lot of people don't know that Martin Luther King, unlike Charlie Kirk,
00:49:45had a harder time being remembered. That the only reason that Martin Luther King's birthday
00:49:54is a holiday is a holiday is because the King family and Stevie Wonder lobbied very hard and
00:50:01very long for that holiday. People forget that what they call black happy birthday, the Stevie
00:50:13Wonder happy birthday was a protest song about making the King holiday a reality. Happy birthday
00:50:21to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. And it was so
00:50:30effective. Finally, the Senate voted on it. 99 out of 100 senators agreed to make that birthday
00:50:39party a holiday. Except for one. John McCain. The guy that Stevie sent me to say goodbye to.
00:50:52What a great man Stevie Wonder is. How much this country could learn from a man like that.
00:51:03John McCain, God bless him. He got himself in a pickle for that vote. But it came back to get
00:51:08his ass years
00:51:09years later. Years later. Years later, he was running for president and had to run against the first nigga to
00:51:15ever get a party nomination.
00:51:20And Barack Obama got that nomination. And Barack Obama got that nomination on the anniversary of
00:51:46I'll tell you what he did. I'll tell you what he did. If you remember, John McCain sponsored a bill
00:51:52to pardon Jack
00:51:54Johnson posthumously of the man act. Yes, he did sponsor that bill to pardon Jack Johnson of the man act.
00:52:05The man act is precisely the law that Sean Puffy Combs was convicted of just recently.
00:52:16America's unstoppable nigger act.
00:52:23America's unstoppable nigger act. Yeah, something else is going on, but I don't know. Are you guys bored?
00:52:36Okay, I'm going to keep going. There's more.
00:52:48I hate conspiracy theories, but I'll tell you one about, well, and this is not even a theory. This part,
00:52:56I know, is a fact.
00:53:06Did you know when I left D.C. and moved to New York in the 90s that New York City
00:53:13Police Department had a hip-hop police task force?
00:53:16Did you know that? And this task force would follow anybody that was involved in hip-hop culture around, not
00:53:24just rappers,
00:53:25drug dealers, because they thought that it was connected somehow, even young comedians like me.
00:53:30Anybody that was just on that scene, they knew who everybody was and what everybody was doing.
00:53:35And back in those days, I used to go to nightclubs, but sometimes I'd go to a club and the
00:53:39lights would be a little bit different.
00:53:41And I didn't notice, but the OGs would pull me aside and be like, careful in the club, nigger.
00:53:47They got the FBI lights up.
00:53:51Which meant that the lighting was strange because the party was under surveillance and they were just telling me to
00:53:57watch my back.
00:53:57And, you know, I wasn't doing anything wrong anyway, nigger, just having a good time.
00:54:04Now, did you know that that task force was invented originally to follow just two people around?
00:54:11Now, those people was a guy named Christopher Wallace, a.k.a. the Notorious B.I.G., and Sean P.
00:54:22Diddy Combs.
00:54:24Now, why is that?
00:54:27That this nigger has been under surveillance for at least 30 years, but just now, just now they notice that
00:54:34he racketeers and beats up bitches.
00:54:36I bet you, I bet you, I bet you, if he was doing all that, I bet you they seen
00:54:41him doing it for a long time.
00:54:43But why now?
00:54:45I don't know.
00:54:47It was strange in this case.
00:54:49Nobody called the police, except for Kid Cudi.
00:54:58Everybody called Kid Cudi a snitch.
00:55:02But he wasn't a snitch.
00:55:04A snitch is when two niggas do crime together, and one of them gets caught and tells on the other
00:55:08one to get himself out of the trouble.
00:55:10Kid Cudi was violated by Puff.
00:55:13He alleged that Puff blew up his motherfucking Porsche with a Molotov cocktail and then stopped there.
00:55:19He said he then alleged that Puff broke into his house and opened this nigger's Christmas gifts.
00:55:31Oh, nigga, I'd have been furious.
00:55:35Kid Cudi said, I can't prove that he opened the gifts and nothing, but I came in the house and
00:55:39he was in there, and the gifts was open, and the nigga was just like, Merry Christmas, playboy.
00:55:46So what was Kid Cudi supposed to do?
00:55:48He only got two choices.
00:55:50Either A, you're going to have to do some gangster shit to this nigga that he's going to have a
00:55:55hard time proving.
00:55:57Or if you're not built like that, and I do not believe that Kid Cudi is built like that,
00:56:05Your last option is B.
00:56:08You got to call the police.
00:56:11Good for Kid Cudi.
00:56:13He did the right thing.
00:56:15I, on the other hand,
00:56:17Oh, I'm built like that.
00:56:21If this nigga fucked my family's Christmas up, you better believe I'm going to make him suffer for that shit.
00:56:26The niggas are going to come up to me and tell me all about it and not even know I
00:56:29did it.
00:56:30Oh my God, Dave.
00:56:33Did you hear what happened to Puffy?
00:56:36Oh my God, no.
00:56:37What happened?
00:56:43He was jogging by himself in Topanga Canyon.
00:56:48A falcon came out of nowhere and killed this nigga.
00:56:52Oh my God.
00:57:05I love hip-hop music.
00:57:07I love many of the people that make that music.
00:57:12They taught me things and showed me things that I'd never seen for myself.
00:57:16Good things.
00:57:16For example, I was in Atlanta once.
00:57:19I'm almost done.
00:57:20Hang in there, champ.
00:57:26I was in Atlanta.
00:57:29And a rapper named T.I.
00:57:34Called me up.
00:57:35Now, at this time, I didn't know him well.
00:57:37I know him better now.
00:57:37But I knew him well enough that he'd had my phone number.
00:57:40And a nigga called me up.
00:57:41He was like, Dave, I heard you's in my city.
00:57:45He said, I want to show you the real Atlanta.
00:57:49I said, fuck yeah, nigga.
00:57:51Let's go.
00:57:53He said, meet me downstairs in your hotel valet.
00:57:56So I went downstairs.
00:57:57I thought he was fucking around.
00:57:58But when I went down there, he was outside in the valet, sitting in a purple phantom.
00:58:03This car must have been a million and a half dollars.
00:58:05Beautiful purple color with ivory white seats.
00:58:08It's the kind of car that you got to have a chauffeur to drive with.
00:58:11But for some reason, this nigga was driving it himself.
00:58:17And I didn't ask no questions.
00:58:18I just jumped in the car.
00:58:20And man, he showed me Atlanta.
00:58:22Everything.
00:58:23Outkast and them started rapping over there.
00:58:25And Future used to play in the playground over here.
00:58:32And then he showed the car up and he pointed to a house and he goes, and Martin Luther King
00:58:37grew up in that house right there.
00:58:40And he raised his children over here.
00:58:43And that's the church you preached in over there.
00:58:50And then we stopped at a red light.
00:58:55And these little black kids rushed the car from out of the side of the intersection with water bottles.
00:59:00These kids in Atlanta, if you know, they're called the water boys.
00:59:04Their whole hustle is they sell water to people who are stuck in that hot Atlanta traffic.
00:59:10I didn't know that.
00:59:11I just saw these young niggas running up on the car, so I locked the door like, fuck that.
00:59:25But T.I. rolled his window down, started giving the kids orders.
00:59:29Slow down, don't just run up on somebody's car.
00:59:31You don't know what they got in there.
00:59:33And smile so you look less threatening.
00:59:36And remember your manners.
00:59:37Yes, sir.
00:59:37No, ma'am.
00:59:38Please.
00:59:39That'll keep you alive.
00:59:40And keep that condensation on that water so it looks refreshing and delicious.
00:59:50And then that kid realized that he was talking to a legend.
00:59:53He said, oh, my God.
00:59:54He said, thanks, T.I., and held his hand out for some money.
00:59:58And that nigga T.I. looked at him and said, I done gave you the game and rolled up the
01:00:02window and drove away.
01:00:16That night, I did my show.
01:00:23And when I got off stage, T.I. was backstage with a friend of his that I didn't know.
01:00:28I just knew his friend was somebody because everyone was acting all excited that he was back there.
01:00:32So I asked him, I go, yo, Tip, who's your man?
01:00:35And he's like, oh, that right there?
01:00:37He goes, that there is the future of hip-hop.
01:00:40And I was like, nigga, will you just calm down?
01:00:42So then I asked the dude.
01:00:45I said, yo, my man.
01:00:46I said, what's your name?
01:00:48And the dude looked over.
01:00:49He said, he said, I'm Nipsey.
01:00:57And this was Nipsey Hussle.
01:01:00Not going to go all into it.
01:01:01But I got to tell you, that night, that night, me and T.I. and Nipsey went out.
01:01:08And we had a fucking blast.
01:01:11Good time.
01:01:12Not a freak-off fun, but fun.
01:01:17So much so that when I got home from the road and my wife always asks me, she goes, Dave,
01:01:22how was your trip?
01:01:23Normally I'm just like, it was good.
01:01:24But this time I was like, babe, babe, I met the coolest nigga.
01:01:29I said, this nigga's younger than me, but it's like he's older than me.
01:01:32And she's like, what?
01:01:34She goes, what does that mean?
01:01:35And I was like, I don't know, bitch.
01:01:36She's like...
01:01:41It's like hanging out with a fortune cookie.
01:01:43This nigga just had an answer for everything.
01:01:49I told her all about Nipsey.
01:01:51And what was funny about it is years later, I saw Nipsey's widow.
01:01:57And she pulled me aside.
01:01:58I'd never met her.
01:01:59And she said, I just want to tell you that my husband loved you.
01:02:02She said, he said he met you in Atlanta.
01:02:05And you had a wonderful time.
01:02:06I said, boy, that's fucking crazy.
01:02:08We sure did.
01:02:11Not long after I met Nipsey, I was in L.A. doing a show.
01:02:16And then after the show, I got a text from a guy that says, I'm at a party.
01:02:19You need to be at.
01:02:20And I was like, I'm going to go to bed.
01:02:21And he's like, no, nigga, you have to come to this party.
01:02:24So I'm thinking, this must be the free goal, finally.
01:02:35And the party was at a place that I'd been to a million times.
01:02:38So I wasn't excited about being in that place.
01:02:40But when I walked in, it just was different.
01:02:43It was popping.
01:02:45And it turns out that the party was for Nipsey.
01:02:50Nipsey had been nominated for Rap Album of the Year.
01:02:53And everyone that he would have ever respected was at the party.
01:02:58T.I. was there.
01:02:59Snoop was there.
01:03:00Jay-Z was there.
01:03:01Puppy, before we knew he did all that stuff, was there.
01:03:05I was there.
01:03:06On and on and on.
01:03:07And as good as the party was, when I was partying, I was having fun.
01:03:10But I had a pit in my stomach because it reminded me of the 90s.
01:03:14And you can believe me or you cannot believe me.
01:03:16I'm just telling you how I saw and how I felt.
01:03:20They had the FBI lights up.
01:03:23I just felt like, man, this party's under surveillance.
01:03:26But I didn't think too much of it.
01:03:28And then I went back home to Ohio and I was taking a nap.
01:03:31And my wife shook me awake.
01:03:33And she had tears in her eyes.
01:03:35And she said, David.
01:03:36I said, what's going on with you?
01:03:37She said, your friend is dead.
01:03:40And I'm old now.
01:03:41So I'm like, bitch, you're going to have to be more specific than that.
01:03:44I know niggas with gout.
01:03:56But it was Nipsey.
01:03:59And this is why I feel for Charlie Kirk's fans.
01:04:01Because I know what it's like to see someone you look up to and admire gunned down by a fucking
01:04:08nobody.
01:04:09Oh, my God.
01:04:12It's so hard to accept that.
01:04:15And if you looked on the Internet and saw all those terrible videos, because there was a very gory video
01:04:22of Nipsey's murder, too.
01:04:24And then I looked in the comments section and the Internet was doing what it does.
01:04:30And everyone was coming up with one conspiracy theory after another.
01:04:33But the one that I kept seeing the most involved a holistic doctor in New York City.
01:04:39Have you heard it?
01:04:44It's a doctor named Dr. Sabine.
01:04:52In the mid-90s, during the height of the AIDS epidemic, a black holistic doctor in New York named Dr.
01:05:01Sabine claimed that he cured two people of AIDS and HIV holistically.
01:05:06And at that time, that was an illegal claim to make in the United States because of the FDA.
01:05:11So the federal government took Dr. Sabine to court and New York State took Dr. Sabine to court.
01:05:19And Dr. Sabine beat both cases.
01:05:27And Nipsey Hussle, unbeknownst to many, was making a documentary.
01:05:33He was producing it about Dr. Sabine's work and his life.
01:05:38And people on the Internet believed that larger powers killed Nipsey Hussle to keep that information from you and I.
01:05:49I don't know.
01:05:51I honestly don't know.
01:05:54But I'll tell you something that I do know.
01:05:59The greatest comedian I've ever seen with my own eyes is Charlie Barnett.
01:06:05Charlie Barnett, a New York Street comedy legend.
01:06:10He only did comedy on the streets.
01:06:12And I was lucky enough to meet him.
01:06:14He was a mentor of mine.
01:06:17Charlie Barnett was so good at performing on the streets that from the streets,
01:06:21he booked himself a job on Saturday Night Live.
01:06:26Yeah, but the week of rehearsals, they found out that he couldn't read.
01:06:30So they fired him and replaced him with Eddie Murphy.
01:06:35Oh, it could have been beautiful.
01:06:37She's got to be able to read to do Saturday Night Live.
01:06:40I know y'all saw Bad Bunny last week.
01:06:49I'm not knocking him and that nigga's reading.
01:06:51You know what I mean?
01:06:56Charlie Barnett wasn't a turd.
01:06:58He kept pushing.
01:06:59And he went on to do movies like DC Cab, which is where I first saw him.
01:07:03He used to be on Miami Vice.
01:07:05This motherfucker became a star in his own right.
01:07:07But the thing that kept derailing him is that Charlie was a terrible drug addict.
01:07:14This nigga started doing crack to quit heroin.
01:07:17He was doomed.
01:07:20He learned how to do street comedy from a guy named Swami X.
01:07:23And Swami X didn't just teach him how to do comedy.
01:07:25He taught him how to get high.
01:07:27And Charlie never could shake it.
01:07:29And when Charlie mentored me, even though he was a terrible drug addict,
01:07:33I never saw him high.
01:07:34He never wanted to do to me what Swami did to him.
01:07:38He made sure I understood that cocaine is just not for you.
01:07:42Even though those bitches are prettier than them ugly weed bitches you behind me.
01:07:50One night, I saw Charlie in a comedy club.
01:07:56And he looked terrible.
01:07:59And this guy would avoid me if he was getting high.
01:08:01But I'd never seen him look this bad.
01:08:03So I said to him, I said, Charlie, you good?
01:08:08And he didn't say anything.
01:08:11And I said, are you high?
01:08:13And he laughed.
01:08:15He said, no, nigga, I'm not high.
01:08:20He said, I'm dying.
01:08:22And I said, what?
01:08:24And he said, I'm dying.
01:08:27I have AIDS.
01:08:29And I'm dying.
01:08:31Now, I must have been 18 or 19.
01:08:33I never met nobody that I knew of that had AIDS.
01:08:35But I got to tell you that, that shit had me shook.
01:08:38And then I started thinking of all his jokes.
01:08:40And he was hinting at it for years.
01:08:42Didn't he used to have a joke where he said, I took an AIDS test yesterday.
01:08:46I got a 65.
01:08:54Another time, he was on stage with the Apollo.
01:08:56And he told the crowd, there's good and bad and everything.
01:08:59And the crowd was like, yeah.
01:09:00He said, so what's good about crack?
01:09:02And, you know, everybody in Harlem was like, nothing.
01:09:04And he said, shit, crack brought the price of pussy down to $5?
01:09:20But when he said he had AIDS, I was so shocked that I looked at him to see if he
01:09:24was joking.
01:09:25And I knew.
01:09:25I said, he's serious.
01:09:30And I said, fuck that shit.
01:09:32He said, what you mean?
01:09:33I said, you're not going to die around me, nigga.
01:09:36That's not your destiny.
01:09:37He said, what are you talking about?
01:09:39And I took Charlie Barnett to Dr. Savy.
01:09:44This is a fact.
01:09:46And Dr. Savy treated Charlie Barnett for three months.
01:09:50This is a crazy story.
01:09:52I could make a whole movie about it.
01:09:53It's a long story, so I'll spray it.
01:09:54But the point of the story is, Charlie died of AIDS.
01:10:16DC, no matter how much this government or anyone else puts pressure on you, keep your wits about you.
01:10:23I'm here just to remind you that we are a community and we will stay sane together.
01:10:29We will take care of each other and we will wait this orange nigga out.
01:10:48The fear that I have for myself that I need you to protect me from is co-option.
01:10:55My voice has become more powerful than I intended it to be.
01:11:00And I cannot let these niggas do me like Charlie Kirk or even worse than that.
01:11:08What if these niggas trip me up somehow, co-opt me, and then make me say the things that they
01:11:14want me to say?
01:11:15We can't have that.
01:11:19So, just in case, we need a code.
01:11:26It's got to be something that I can say so that if I say it, you know that these niggas
01:11:30got me.
01:11:32And don't listen to nothing that I say after I say those words.
01:11:37But don't tell anybody what it is, but it's got to be something that, you know what I mean, that
01:11:41I would never say.
01:11:42Oh, I know what the code is.
01:11:44The code word is, I stand with Israel.
01:11:47Thank you very much and good night.
01:12:10I've always gone to the conclusion
01:12:15That but is the way
01:12:20I've asked for permission
01:12:23To lay something heavy on one's hands
01:12:29So I've tried to not be the one
01:12:34Who fall into that line
01:12:37But what I feel inside
01:12:42I think you should know
01:12:45And baby that's you, you, you
01:12:51Made life's history
01:12:58But you've brought joy inside my tears
01:13:05And you have done what no one thought you could be
01:13:15And you brought me some joy inside my tears
01:13:26I've always felt that tomorrow is for those who are too much afraid
01:14:03To go past yesterday
01:14:04So you, you, you
01:14:07Made life's history
01:14:12Oh, baby
01:14:13Oh, God's joy inside my tears
01:14:21And you have done what no one thought you could be
01:14:31And you brought joy inside my tears
01:14:42Oh, God's joy inside my tears
01:14:47Oh, God's joy inside my tears
01:14:59Oh, God's joy inside my tears
01:15:01Oh, God's joy inside my tears
01:15:18Baby, baby, you have done
01:15:22But no one wants to love me
01:15:33I'm rich, biatch!
