A dangerous road rage incident in Bengaluru has sparked concern after a truck driver allegedly drove recklessly for several kilometres following a minor collision with a car.

According to reports, the incident began after a truck reportedly belonging to DTDC Courier lightly brushed against a car, leading to an argument between the two drivers.

Witnesses said the confrontation soon escalated, after which the truck driver allegedly sped away and drove dangerously across city roads for nearly five to six kilometres while the car driver chased the vehicle.

During the high-speed chase, the truck reportedly rammed into a roadside auto-rickshaw. Despite the collision, the driver allegedly did not stop and fled the spot in a suspected hit-and-run attempt.

Videos of the incident, reportedly recorded by the car driver on a mobile phone, have gone viral on social media and triggered sharp reactions from the public.

The case falls under the jurisdiction of the Peenya Traffic Police Station. Police have reportedly registered a case and launched efforts to identify and trace the truck driver involved.

The incident has once again raised concerns over reckless driving and increasing road rage cases in Bengaluru, with citizens demanding stricter action against dangerous driving on city roads.
