In a devastating road accident, six people, including two minors, lost their lives after a car rammed into a stationary lorry on the Shamshabad Outer Ring Road near Exit 16 on Friday, May 1.

According to reports, seven People were travelling in the car when the accident occurred. The vehicle, driven by Bolli Shiva Kumar (37), a native of Rajanna Sircilla district residing in Sanathnagar, crashed into the lorry from behind. The impact was so severe that the car got wedged under the truck, completely crushing its front portion.

Among the deceased are Shiva Kumar, his wife Bolli Lasya, and Bolli Rishitha. Other victims have been identified as Kodem Srinivas (40), his wife Swetha (35), and two minors—Krishna Chandra and Kodem Madhav.

Swetha is the sole survivor and has been admitted to a hospital, where she is undergoing treatment.

Police said the group was returning after darshan at the Yadagirigutta temple when the accident took place.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.
