00:00So, remember last week, or maybe even two weeks ago now,
00:03when the New York Post ran a story that Diana Rossini,
00:07in the middle of all the mayhem, was driving her car,
00:11minding her own business in New Jersey,
00:13and there was a car accident in front of her,
00:16and an older gentleman, I guess, was in a Jeep,
00:19and flipped his Jeep over,
00:20and that she jumped out of her car with another good Samaritan,
00:24had that good Samaritan lift her up in the air,
00:27she stood on top of the flipped-over Jeep,
00:31somehow pried open the door,
00:33got the old man out of the car,
00:36got the guy's dog out of the car,
00:38and was a real-life hero.
00:40Remember that story?
00:41I remember.
00:43None of it's true.
00:44Wait a minute.
00:45None of it is true.
00:46None of it's true?
00:48None of it is true.
00:50So that's the actual headline.
00:51Diana Rossini saves man from car crash.
00:54And again, the story was, the Jeep is on its side,
00:56some guy lifts her up, puts her on top,
00:59she opens up the door, gets the guy out,
01:02gets the dog out, and is a hero.
01:04Yeah, it's a great story.
01:05Except it's not true.
01:07The New York Post updated this story this morning.
01:10Oh.
01:10And the updated story is now,
01:12yes, there was an accident,
01:14now that happened.
01:15Yes, she was there and saw it, that happened.
01:17But she did not get lifted on top of the Jeep.
01:21She did not open up the door to the Jeep.
01:24She did not reach in and take the old man out
01:26or save the dog.
01:28But she did watch it all happen.
01:30Well, hold on.
01:31There was another guy there, a good Samaritan,
01:34who apparently got on top of the Jeep.
01:36It was a soft-top Jeep.
01:38So it's like a convertible, like a Jeep Wrangler.
01:40Yeah, Wrangler, yeah.
01:41And apparently this other guy ripped off the cloth top
01:45of the Jeep, got the guy out of the car,
01:49got the dog out of the car,
01:51and while, yes, Diana Rossini was there,
01:54and, yes, she did get out of her car,
01:57she held on to the dog's leash.
01:59Well, hold on.
02:00Did she call 911?
02:02Don't know.
02:03We'd like to get that audio.
02:04But I will say she stopped.
02:06She stopped, because I, me personally,
02:08this is where I'm back.
02:09She watched the guy save the man's life,
02:10or at least rescue him from the car.
02:12Well, that's something.
02:12She watched the guy take the dog out of the car.
02:16Yeah.
02:16And she did hold on to the dog's leash.
02:19That is heroic, and more than I would have done.
02:22When I see an accident just happen,
02:24my only goal is to get the hell around it
02:27before the traffic backs up.
02:28That's my only goal.
02:29You would have kept driving.
02:31Absolutely.
02:32Yeah.
02:32She stopped the hell on the door.
02:33I am not a hero.
02:34Don't want to be a hero.
02:35So as the story now goes,
02:37her PR team got wind of what happened
02:39and said, here we have a chance
02:41to change the narrative about her.
02:43Because to be fair, she said nothing about it.
02:46No, she didn't.
02:47But her PR team reached out, I guess,
02:49to the New York Post and others and said,
02:51hey, guess what?
02:52Diana Rossini's a hero.
02:54Single-handedly saved an old man from a wreck.
02:59She watched it happen,
03:00but according to other eyewitnesses now,
03:04she was a bystander that watched other people
03:07get involved and get that guy out of the car.
03:11She's having a tough week, man.
03:12That's terrible for her.
03:14And now, now, I hope she called 911,
03:17but I hope she didn't call 911.
03:18Like, man, this old man's in the way.
03:20Can you come get it cleared?
03:21I hope she actually had compassion.
03:22I got places to be.
03:23Yeah, I hope she had compassion.
03:24Yeah, apparently she was in the car
03:25with her mom and her kids
03:27when this accident took place.
03:28There is another story
03:29that literally just came across
03:30my Twitter account now
03:33that she has made the decision,
03:35again, this is a report,
03:36I can't speak to the validity of it,
03:38that she is now prepared
03:40to only look forward in life
03:42and not look backwards,
03:43and she is now totally focused
03:45on whatever her next job opportunity
03:47is going to be.
03:49So she's not moving backwards.
03:50She's not talking about Vrabel anymore.
03:52She doesn't want to deal
03:53with any of the nonsense.
03:54She's only now looking forward
03:56to what her next opportunity is.
03:58Yeah.
03:59Unfortunately for Diana,
04:01she doesn't get to decide that.
04:02Yeah, what do you mean?
04:03You're not going to answer
04:04these questions?
04:05Yes, you are.
04:06By the way, she only has to do it once.
04:07Right, but she has to answer it.
04:08Like, we've invited her
04:09on the radio show,
04:10and it's like,
04:11you got to do it once,
04:12but you got to do it once.
04:13She has to do it once.
04:14Now, the question for her
04:15is can she monetize
04:16that first time she speaks?
04:18Is there a media outlet out there?
04:20Because we won't pay her.
04:22Right.
04:22Is there an outlet out there
04:23that would say,
04:24hey, Diana,
04:25we'll pay you $100,000
04:28for your story?
04:29Now, sometimes news organizations
04:31do that.
04:32Mm-hmm.
04:32Like, the Today Show
04:33might do that.
04:34Yes.
04:34Right?
04:34Yeah.
04:35And the podcast out there
04:37might write a check for that.
04:38Good Morning America.
04:39Yeah.
04:39She might sit down
04:40with Strahan.
04:40That might make sense.
04:42Robert Roberts.
04:43Yeah.
04:43Somebody.
04:44Like, you go to a place
04:45where you think
04:45you're going to have
04:46an easier time.
04:47Yeah.
04:48But I think you do
04:48that interview once,
04:49but you got to do all of it.
04:51She has to.
04:52Like, you got to be willing to,
04:53I'm going to ask you everything,
04:54but you don't have to,
04:55you never have to do it
04:56a second time.
04:57Right.
04:57But you got to do it once.
04:59But if she's looking forward,
05:00great.
05:01I would just say,
05:02tell your PR staff,
05:04you know,
05:04stop lying about things,
05:07because you,
05:08I would assume at this point
05:10have learned a viable lesson,
05:11somebody's going to find out.
05:13And someone's going to know the truth.
