00:00But your Twitter world doesn't wake you up usually
00:02until about 8 o'clock in the morning, Eastern time.
00:04Yeah.
00:04So she put a tweet out there at 6.30 Eastern time,
00:08you know, and then obviously I imagine turned off her responses
00:11because the responses were not kind.
00:13Well, she didn't turn them off.
00:14She just maybe didn't look at her phone.
00:16Oh, maybe she just posted and ghosted?
00:18Yeah.
00:18So you can see that's her tweet early this morning.
00:23Something about the NFL and facilities, and I have no idea.
00:27But the reaction was...
00:29Yeah, I mean, it was a non-story.
00:31It was like, I'm sure she felt like for 24 hours,
00:34she probably felt like you feel like when you go in the car
00:37and you forget your wallet, right?
00:39Like, man, I wasn't allowed to tweet for 24 hours
00:41because of the scandal.
00:42I'm dying to tweet almost like it's an addiction, right?
00:45So she said to herself, what can I put out there
00:48that's not going to come back and bite me in the ass?
00:51Well, the answer is nothing.
00:52No matter what you put out there now,
00:55someone's going to bite the ass because every video out there
00:58from all of your many appearances across the country
01:00on podcasts and radio shows come across as icky now,
01:05talking about your husband,
01:06talking about your desire to party without him,
01:10talking about your phone call with Jimmy Garoppolo
01:12the night before you got married
01:14and how that was your mom's dream for you
01:16to sleep with Jimmy Garoppolo.
01:18And it's just really like weird stuff that she put out there.
01:23It's like, you know, in any event,
01:25so she puts out a non-consequential tweet at 6.30 this morning.
01:29She gets torn up, obviously, on the replies.
01:32People put out their own memes and videos and whatnot.
01:35But I am interested in the fact, Tyrone,
01:38that another 24 hours later, and still crickets,
01:42crickets from a lot of people in the media,
01:45like outside of a couple of sports talk radio shows,
01:48there's a lot of people where she was a frequent guest on
01:52who have not said a damn word about the allegations
01:55that she is sleeping with
01:57or having some kind of sexual relationship with Mike Vrabel.
02:00And let's just call a spade a spade here,
02:03that the more we've learned about that hotel,
02:05you are not in that hotel unless you're there
02:08for romantic reasons.
02:10That's what that hotel is all about.
02:12And the other thing is, whoever took those photographs,
02:16that was not a mistake.
02:18Those photographs were not like you and I
02:20going to grab a drink at a poolside bar
02:23and we see somebody famous,
02:25so we take out our cell phone
02:27and we take a quick picture on the iPhone with it.
02:29That's not what those photos were.
02:31Not at all.
02:31That was a high-powered lens from a person
02:34waiting for them to pop up
02:37out of the one-bedroom bungalow
02:40for romantic couples.
02:41You're absolutely right about that.
02:43And it is odd how silent so many people have been.
02:47Yes, so many people who usually
02:49are like the moral police,
02:51the moral authority in this country,
02:53these soapbox-type shows
02:55where they dictate who's a good guy,
02:58who's a bad guy.
02:59All right?
03:00None of them have said a damn word about this.
03:02Yes, indeed.
03:03You are 100% right about that.
03:04Now, someone is bringing something up to me
03:07and I want you to respond to it live on the air.
03:09Okay.
03:10Is it about me?
03:12No, it's about this.
03:14It's about this situation.
03:15Do it.
03:15They're saying that you, me,
03:18we're all being guilty
03:20because we're only talking about it
03:21from Diana Rossini's side.
03:23Go ahead.
03:24Why are we not talking more about the fact
03:26that we all pretty much believe
03:28that Vrabel is blatantly cheating on his wife
03:32with a reporter to get favored
03:35to maybe acquire a player like A.J. Brown?
03:37Should we,
03:38and this is something that was brought to me,
03:40so I'm bringing it to you,
03:41are we perhaps being sexist,
03:43misogynist by talking about it
03:45more from the Diana Rossini side
03:47than the Mike Vrabel side?
03:48Not on purpose.
03:50Not on purpose.
03:52But if people feel that way,
03:54I'm not going to tell them they're wrong.
03:56Okay.
03:56Yeah, like I didn't go into this story saying,
03:58let me ignore Mike Vrabel's role in this.
04:00And I can vouch for that completely.
04:02I think, you know,
04:03he's obviously a 50% part of this story,
04:06and he does have a wife,
04:07he does have kids,
04:09he is the head coach of an NFL team.
04:11I think the more scandalous part of it,
04:13even though they're both in it 50-50,
04:17is that how she's getting her stories?
04:20That's the question.
04:20I just think that's more interesting to people.
04:22And sadly, whoever wrote to you,
04:24I don't disagree with the premise there,
04:26although I didn't do it on purpose for sure.
04:28No, you definitely didn't.
04:29I definitely have leaned more towards
04:31talking about her role in it than his role in it.
04:33And I also think,
04:34and maybe this is a sad state of
04:36just how we view things in society today,
04:39I think a lot of people, myself included,
04:41are not as surprised
04:43that a successful middle-aged man
04:46with money
04:49would do that to his wife
04:50more so than what a younger woman
04:53might do to her husband.
04:54Yeah.
04:54And if that's sexist, so be it.
04:56Right.
04:57That being said,
04:58I don't think I've ever said
04:59Diana Rossini's name
05:00and not said Mike Vrabel's name
05:01in the same sentence.
05:02That is absolutely correct.
05:03And obviously, they're both wrong
05:05for doing it.
05:06I'm not here to be the moral high ground.
05:09I gave that right up
05:10when I got arrested, obviously.
05:12But I think the more salacious aspect of it
05:15is her side versus his side.
05:18And I think there's another level to it
05:19where we have to be honest
05:20about what each job is.
05:22Yes.
05:23At the end of the day,
05:24her story as a journalist,
05:25because she's a journalist,
05:26is to get stories right
05:28and there are certain journalistic ethics.
05:30Yeah.
05:30We'll stop there
05:31because ethics is the key word
05:32and I'm going to add the word integrity to it.
05:34Yeah.
05:34Now, if you're a publisher or an editor,
05:38if you say to your reporters,
05:39I don't care how you get the story
05:42as long as it's accurate.
05:44Right.
05:44And factual,
05:45well, then she's living by those standards.
05:47But most don't.
05:48Most don't.
05:49Most don't.
05:49Right?
05:50Now, that goes back to Watergate.
05:52Right.
05:52Right?
05:52When Woodward and Bernstein,
05:54you had the Watergate story,
05:56Nixon and all that stuff,
05:57it changed reporting overnight.
06:00Mm-hmm.
06:00It made every reporter jealous of their fame
06:03and then it became,
06:04I'm going to do whatever I can
06:06to be the story.
06:08Right.
06:08And also,
06:09if that means fudging things,
06:12sleeping with people,
06:13you know,
06:14paying people off.
06:14Whatever it might be.
06:15I'm going to do whatever it takes
06:16to get the story.
06:17Right.
06:17And on the other side, though,
06:18at the end of the day,
06:19Vrabel's job is to win games.
06:21Yes.
06:22And with the Patriots last season,
06:24he exceeded every realistic expectation
06:26by making the Super Bowl.
06:28Correct.
06:28Period.
06:29Which is why he's untouchable
06:30right now in New England.
06:31Right.
06:31And I think that's the part
06:32that is not sexist at all.
06:34Her job and his job
06:35are not the same job.
06:36Yeah.
06:36And look,
06:37he's,
06:38in my opinion,
06:39using her
06:41to forward storylines
06:43that are good for him.
06:44Yeah,
06:44to try to get a player.
06:45In the latest case,
06:46A.J. Brown.
06:46Right.
06:47Will he be traded to New England?
06:48That story clearly comes from Mike Vrabel.
06:51Absolutely.
06:51And clearly went through Diana Rossini
06:53because nobody else had it.
06:55And the other guys like Adam Schefter
06:56said A.J. Brown might get traded.
06:58Yeah.
06:59But not to the Patriots.
07:00Right.
07:00Like this other team.
07:01Right.
07:02So,
07:02I think he's using her.
07:04Mm-hmm.
07:05And by the way,
07:06he's not the only guy.
07:07You know,
07:07coaches and GMs use all the reporters,
07:09male or female,
07:11you know,
07:11to further their own careers and causes.
07:13But it's more salacious
07:14when you're talking about a woman.
07:16It just is.
