00:29going to do what you're going to do you're paying attention to the game tonight even though you'll
00:34be at an event tonight to see owes the mentalist um for a charity event which is great uh but
00:43you're
00:43still going to be paying attention to the game on your phone once the uh i guess the show starts
00:50at
00:50eight and the game starts at seven so you got an hour where you can pay attention to some of
00:53that
00:53although you know how this works man you're gonna be first of all you're gonna be driving to the event
00:57you gotta park to the event so you're gonna be listening to it but then there's going to be a
01:01little bit of time where you're not going to be able to pay attention to it i know that happens
01:05by the way we have some good news yeah uh omari sinko for the detroit uh free press has uh

01:12out he's got some video pistons just wrapped up shoot around tobias harris who was questionable
01:19was a full participant well that's good news yes it is um so hopefully he's able to go tonight and
01:26uh
01:26you know now that now that he's got the shoot around done and full participant in the pregame
01:30workout that let's ice that thing down and uh get it ready for tonight they need him they need him
01:36i
01:37wouldn't expect him to be a monster factor tonight because he is injured but if he can give him some
01:45offense that'd be great because he needs somebody outside of kate cunningham to give him some offense
01:49but with this uh thing we're talking about with tonight you're going to this owes the mentalist
01:54uh show i asked the questions they may believe this stuff right because i i don't i i think i

02:00some of it is a little bit of a trickery with with numbers and and stuff like that that you
02:05can
02:06you know there's there's certain things you guys like play card games or whatever and they know that
02:11there's ways that they shuffle a deck and it's like they're tricks right right well he says you know
02:16he can tell on certain things by the way they move you know which maybe whether you're going to use
02:23even or odd numbers by the knot of his head or whatever it's crazy yes which is kind of strange
02:28so um i i still don't i don't i don't buy i don't buy it i think when you get
02:34the big reveals and
02:35people are like blown away i think there has to be somebody on the inside or some inside info but
02:39nonetheless it's it's interesting so we got some some uh text coming in on this i can't believe
02:45mentalists are real because it's hard to believe that they can go all this information that get all
02:50this information out of people but the most lucrative career you come up with is being a
02:53mentalist it's john and bright yeah you figure you'd be able to like hit the casinos like do
03:00something else but now this is uh you're you're going on look he makes a hell of a living doing
03:06what he's doing yes he does but can you put that brilliant mind to better use than just you know
03:11predicting numbers out of somebody's head of course all the mentalist stuff is just a trick
03:16it's just magic without props you can go on youtube and find out how all the tricks are done
03:23um well i haven't gone down that rabbit hole um but perhaps that'll happen after the show
03:29i think it's all fake and people are in on it and they sign an uh nda's uh non-disclosure

03:37i think that's quite possible i'm more skeptical than i am positive about this i'm way skeptical on this
03:45and if you were skeptical and you found out he was doing it right wouldn't you just
03:51say different numbers just to screw them up in the end well i don't know how what the reveal is
03:57if you have to actually write the number down and then he tells you what it is and then i'm

04:00be skeptical because well there's got to be a camera on me showing what the what it is or
04:04you know there's there's something there i don't know would uh but yes i would try to trick up

05:13just have a hard time believing it's real but that's what i'm sure everybody says until they're
05:17part of it right like how did this happen should have had him in studio i don't know what you

06:20typically somebody that likes to watch these big games in a group of people or would you prefer just
06:26to sit in your basement watch it alone i'd rather do it in a music theater with a mentalist no
06:30um
06:31i prefer to be with a small group if at home at a home or something like that or by
06:38myself or just
06:39with my family i do not enjoy games that i know i have to talk about on the radio per
06:45se or that i
06:47really have heavily invested in i really don't like to go to a crowded bar i know it's it's fun
06:53everybody cheering for the same team i like to pay attention to what the announcers are saying now so
06:58i'm not i'm with you on that to a point like i i'd prefer to watch it kind of like
07:03by myself without
07:04the distractions but when the team when your team wins it's awesome to be part of that when everybody's
07:12cheering together and people buying drinks or whatever and high-fiving each other it's it's
07:17incredible yes be with the group when when that happens it's the worst when your team loses the
07:23team loses it's brutal so like when you get games like michigan michigan state the last place i want
07:30to be is in a bar watching a game like that right i mean because it gets nasty and i'm
07:36like i don't
07:36even want to be part of this i don't know if the analogy completely fits but there are people when
07:41your school in this case michigan whatever if you're especially if you're a student or a younger
07:45person would you rather if you've had a chance to be at the venue for the national championship game
07:52or be on campus with you know your friends and you know everybody around and a lot of the kids
07:59would
07:59rather be on campus because it's more of a party yeah i get it um and and if you're fortunate
08:05enough to
08:06be a fan of a of a team that gets to these things on a regular basis things like you
08:10want to at least
08:10one time yes i think you'd want to have a chance to go if it's a national championship game i'd
08:14want
08:14to go to a national championship game i would think so rather than hang out on campus but it's also
08:18it's
08:18a financial thing yeah i mean when i was 18 to 22 going through college right and have money so
