00:00Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is no stranger to making headlines. Over the last week, the Jersey
00:04Shore star sparked some concerns from fans over his well-being after he appeared to be
00:09nodding off during a recent interview. While promoting the new season of Jersey Shore
00:13Family Vacation, Ronnie seemed rather disassociated as Dina told SiriusXM about their plans to
00:19house the show on a new platform. Side note, Ronnie has sought professional help for both
00:24alcohol abuse and depression. In 2022, he revealed that he was one year sober.
00:31Anyways, Ronnie and most of the Jersey Shore cast stopped by Decider Studio just hours before
00:35they sat down with SiriusXM, and Ronnie gave a pretty positive life update. Here's what he said.
00:41I definitely feel like I've grown a lot from what I was. You know, it took a lot of downfalls
00:48in my
00:48life for me to lose a lot, but it took a lot for me to basically hit rock bottom and
00:54to bounce back
00:54and just basically say, I don't want to go that down that road anymore and be that person. And I
00:59have Ariana who I have to be a role model to. So I use that as fuel to basically make
01:06the right
01:06decisions. You know, things in life, you know, come at you, but it's also how you handle things. You
01:12know, and that's basically my mentality is things are always going to be coming at me and I deal with
01:18my own mental health issues, you know, on a daily basis, but it's how you handle things. And that's
01:23basically what I've learned. So whether or not there was too much Ron Ron juice at play or he
01:27was simply exhausted from a long press day has yet to be determined. But since he honestly seemed
01:32just fine when he was with us, we're going to hope it's the latter. Let us know your thoughts
01:37in the comments section and don't forget to follow Decider for more Jersey Shore coverage.
