Firozabad (Uttar Pradesh): In a brazen daylight robbery, three bike-borne criminals allegedly looted ₹10 lakh at gunpoint from a seed merchant’s employee in the Sirsaganj police station area.

The incident took place on Monday morning in Adhyapak Nagar when the victim, Bunty Kumar, son of Aidal Singh, was on his way to deposit cash at a Bank of Baroda branch. According to the complaint, the accused intercepted him on the way and threatened him with a pistol.

The assailants, who were reportedly on a motorcycle and accompanied by a girl, snatched the bag containing ₹10 lakh and fled the scene. The incident has created panic among local traders.

Police reached the spot soon after receiving information and launched a cordon-and-search operation. CCTV footage from the surrounding area is being examined to identify the accused.

Circle Officer Anivesh Kumar Singh said that multiple police teams have been formed to crack the case, and investigation is underway from all angles.

Authorities have assured that the accused will be arrested soon.
