00:05that I wrote called, Until We Rest in You.
00:09It goes like this.
00:11Infinitely perfect and in himself satisfied, God held a great plan to share in the grace
00:18of life the God of love created man.
00:22He calls man to seek him, to know him, to love him, to trust that he is the only Lord
00:28above them.
00:30He came to live and die on a cross that sin would be forgiven.
00:35He came to the world to save the lost, to bring them into heaven.
00:40Proclaim the good news and celebrate in faith.
00:44Let it wash away the blues, let it melt away the hate.
00:48Salvation or damnation, the choice is ours.
00:51To accept or reject are both in our power.
00:54The vital bond of man to God, though often forgotten on roads we trod, can never be severed.
01:02Though here we may feel rejected, yet still we are together forever.
01:07Lord, we are restless until we rest in you.
01:12The last line of this poem was from St. Augustine's Confessions.
