00:00Hi, my name is David Michael Cray, also known as Crayfish, and today I have a poem for you
00:06that I wrote called, Did You See Me?
00:09It goes like this.
00:12Did you see me?
00:14Like Nathan, under a fig tree, observing me from elsewhere, while my direction was still
00:19hidden, while my hope was unknown, a sleeping Saturday, desperate for a reason for a tomorrow.
00:27Did you see me?
00:29Not just my body, but my heart within, hoping for more, seeking to be pure, but waiting
00:36without a Savior to make living with that heart possible or even effectual.
00:42Did you see me when I gave my life to you for your purposes, for your creation, for your
00:49love?
00:50Did you see me when I turned from the darkness that held me, looking for a Savior, looking
00:55for an answer, for a reason to live?
00:59You must have, because I saw you when I confessed with my mouth you were Lord, when you came
01:06down from heaven to enter my heart with a vision of your grace.
01:10And I see you still, in a life changed, in many blessings, in a new direction, in a great
01:18hope of a perfect future.
01:20Though the image is gone, the vision remains.
01:23I still see you.
