00:00Hello there, good morning.
00:02You might be feeling a little more tired this morning as the clock's jumped forward yesterday.
00:06There's certainly a chill in the air this morning to wake you up if you are feeling
00:10a bit tired.
00:10And if you're not a fan of the cold, well I'm pleased to say there is something a little
00:14milder on its way.
00:15It's still fairly chilly out there this morning, but then we turn to a bit more of a westerly.
00:19This brings us in some milder Atlantic air, so from Tuesday onwards things are certainly
00:23not going to feel quite as chilly as they have done recently.
00:26For now though, it's quite a chilly start out there, but a bit of a breeze around which
00:30has stopped things turning too frosty and largely dry in places with some sunny spells, particularly
00:36across England and Wales, but in that brisk northwesterly wind that's still enough to drag
00:40in some showers at times, particularly across Scotland, Northern Ireland, northern parts
00:44of England.
00:44But by this afternoon, most showers fizzling away and for many it should be largely dry
00:49with some sunny spells, much lighter winds compared to what we had yesterday.
00:53So even though temperatures are fairly similar, it's probably going to be feeling a little
00:57more pleasant.
00:57Still a bit of a chill in the air though, highs only reaching around 13 degrees Celsius in
01:02the south.
01:04Then into this evening, once again remaining mostly dry for the first part of the night,
01:08under clear skies turning quite chilly, but then we'll eventually see more and more cloud
01:12continue to push in from the west.
01:14This could be thick enough to produce a little bit of drizzle and winds will ease off for a
01:18time.
01:18But then we'll start to see another fairly brisk breeze returning as we head into Tuesday
01:22morning.
01:23But with the breeze, more cloud around, once again stopping temperatures dropping too low.
01:27So widely in the mid to high single figures for many towns and cities.
01:32And for Tuesday, although yes, it is starting to turn mild, we're likely to see less sunshine
01:37around.
01:38Plenty of cloudy skies and this cloud still thick enough to produce some rain and drizzle mostly
01:43across western hills as we continue to see that westerly flow through Tuesday.
01:47But it is going to be feeling far more pleasant.
01:50Highs reaching around 15 to 16 degrees Celsius, so above average for the time of year.
01:56And the breeze might be enough to pick out a few brighter spells into the afternoon.
02:00But for most, it's going to be a much cloudier day ahead.
02:04Now of course, I'm sure many of us are counting down towards the bank holiday this weekend.
02:08And there's still quite a lot of uncertainty in the forecast, but for the time being, it
02:13does look like we'll eventually start to see a ridge of high pressure building in from
02:17the south.
02:17So some fine conditions certainly for Good Friday, but notice behind me, low pressure
02:22never too far away.
02:23And this could bring us an unsettled spell over the bank holiday weekend.
02:27But of course, for more updates on that, stay with us here on YouTube and you can do
02:30that by subscribing.
02:32Bye-bye.
