00:00Yes, it is the Mixtape in the Loop Sports Radio 610.
00:04It's your man, Figgy Fig, holding it down on a Tuesday.
00:07Happy Tuesday to everyone out there.
00:10Here's a story about a guy who had to overcome a lot throughout his life,
00:16just health-wise, and he had to make it work.
00:20ESPN actually did a story on him.
00:23This was a couple years ago, and it kind of came back around for a certain reason,
00:27but I'll explain why this came back around.
00:31But here's a story about a guy who had to overcome a lot.
00:34I'm Dayton Weber, and I'm a professional cornerback.
00:36I had gotten a bacterial infection when I was just 10 months old.
00:41The infection that got into my arms and legs was called Streptococcus pneumoniae.
00:45They had actually given me a 3% chance of living,
00:48and the only way that they were able to save me was by getting the infections out of my system.
00:55They had to amputate my arms and legs to keep me alive.
00:58I'm thankful for the Lord and giving those surgeons the power that he did that day
01:03to be able to make such a miracle happen.
01:06Inspiration to me is a daily drive.
01:09I believe that God put me on this planet for one reason.
01:13Everybody's got their reasons for being here,
01:15but my reason, I feel like, is to inspire other people just by me doing my daily task.
01:21I want them to have the sense of I can go out there and do anything I put my mind
01:27to.
01:27If they say, I want to go out and become a pro cornhole player now,
01:30I want them to look at me and be like, I can do it.
01:33I know I can.
01:34Anybody can play, anybody can win.
01:37Well, that's nice.
01:38What an inspiration.
01:39Yeah, nah, it really inspires some people and all that stuff.
01:43So I was kind of curious, what is he doing right now?
01:47Do you think he's still doing all that, inspiring people?
01:49Professional cornhole.
01:50It's a big thing.
01:52Yeah.
01:52Which, by the way, what a wild thing that America is,
01:57that we can have a professional cornhole player.
02:00That's beautiful.
02:01That's an athlete, ain't it?
02:02That's incredible.
02:03I mean, I ain't saying nothing about athlete or not athlete.
02:05He's inspiring.
02:06Yeah.
02:07He ain't got no arms or legs.
02:09Yeah, so he kind of popped up in the news as of late.
02:13So probably curious, what is he doing right now?
02:16Yeah.
02:16Well, let's go to Fox 5 in Washington, D.C.
02:19They was talking about what he was up to lately.
02:23Now to a bizarre story.
02:24Out of Charles County, police now investigating after a professional cornhole player with no
02:30hands and no legs is accused of firing a deadly shot all while driving.
02:35Before we get any further into the story, I just want to try to answer the question that
02:39so many people have right now.
02:41How did someone with no arms, no hands manage to fire a gun and allegedly kill someone?
02:47It's early in the investigation, but there is no evidence at this point to suggest anybody
02:52else was involved in the shooting and that he acted alone on this.
02:56Now watch closely.
02:57You're looking at the man accused of murder in this case.
03:00Video from his TikTok page titled No Hands, No Feet Shooting 9mm Handgun.
03:07His name is Dayton James Weber, a 27-year-old quadriplegic amputee and professional cornhole
03:14player.
03:14This all started around 1030 last night when La Plata police officers were flagged down
03:18by two witnesses near Radio Station Road.
03:21Charles County Sheriff's investigators say Weber was the driver when he shot and killed his
03:26front seat passenger, then asked those in the back seat to help get rid of the body.
03:30They refused, got out of the car and alerted police.
03:34Weber took off with the victim in the car, identified as 27-year-old Bradrick Wells.
03:39Two hours later and about 15 miles away, Wells' body was found dumped in someone's front yard
03:44in Charlotte Hall, Maryland.
03:46Soon after, Weber's car was tracked to a gas station in Charlottesville, Virginia.
03:50He was found at a hospital nearby and arrested after his release.
03:54I think the witnesses helping really gave us a good start, obviously, and then it was
04:00excellent police work with not only our detectives and La Plata police,
04:04but also the authorities in Virginia.
04:06Hold on.
04:06Yeah.
04:07There's a lot of questions.
04:09Let's start with the final thing.
04:11Really, it was excellent police work.
04:12Word.
04:13Yeah.
04:14Yeah.
04:14I don't think they...
04:15Can you describe the young man?
04:17I don't think they fought him on foot.
04:18Yeah.
04:20You're wrong for that.
04:21You're wrong for that.
04:22You're wrong for that.
04:24He put his hands up when they called him in the hospital.
04:26He put something up.
04:29Oh, my God.
04:29This could take such an ugly turn just because of what you just said.
04:33It could take an ugly turn.
04:34You should see that you should be in this head right now.
04:37No, I never want that.
04:38I never want that.
04:39There are a lot of...
04:41There's a lot going on.
04:42So much police work.
04:43The people...
04:44You had two first-hand witnesses that came over and said,
04:47yes, he did it, and you had to look for the dude with no arms and legs.
04:50I feel like...
04:50Yes.
04:51That was an open and shut case.
04:52I feel like we made that one happen.
04:54My thing is, there's a lot going on here.
04:57Like, I think if you look at the TikTok, you can see him actually shooting a gun.
05:02Which is why it's not your TikTok.
05:03That's another question.
05:05First of all, dumb to put it on TikTok.
05:07And I get the cornhole.
05:10You can throw it with...
05:12I mean...
05:13You want to describe it?
05:15Come on, man.
05:15Hey, show the YouTube right now.
05:17Come on, man.
05:18How'd it do it?
05:19You can throw it with like that, you know?
05:21I don't even think he had that.
05:23Yeah, but can you pull a trigger with just...
05:26He did.
05:27Apparently, yeah.
05:29And apparently, throughout the story, he got rid of the body.
05:32That's another question.
05:33And took off in a Tesla.
05:34Yes.
05:35How do you...
05:38There are so many bad things.
05:40That's...
05:40Wait.
05:41All right.
05:41So, first and foremost, I would like to take a quick intermission from the mixtape and
05:45take you to the base power text line.
05:46And I'm just going to read them verbatim.
05:48So, this is not my fault.
05:49From the 281, did he say, hands up, don't shoot?
05:52From the 409, raise your right hand.
05:54I literally can't.
05:55From the 832, he didn't have a leg to stand, dog.
05:57From the 252, caught him red-handed.
06:00From the 713, would Figgy be down to be on the jury in that case?
06:05100%.
06:05I might beg to get on that jury.
06:08Please.
06:09Please.
06:10Wait.
06:10Hold on.
06:10Hold on.
06:10Don't bring this to me.
06:11Because, yes, I said firsthand witnesses.
06:13But that was not what I meant.
06:14I need you to understand that is a common saying that I had no meanings behind.
06:18I'm really curious about this trial, though, once it happened.
06:22Because, like, are they going to find a fingerprint?
06:30The defense has got gold.
06:32We're all going to handbag it right now.
06:34And, look, he's probably going to prison for the rest of his life, I'm assuming.
06:37Like, are they going to have to custom make, like, an orange jumpsuit for him?
06:41Yeah, they'll be tripping everywhere if they don't.
06:43Someone asked how they handcuff him.
06:48Did he try to run?
06:50The thing that got me, because I did see the headline of this story.
06:54I did not.
06:54Before.
06:55However, the thing, you heard me yell, what?
06:57And that's because I was genuinely surprised in that moment because I didn't realize that he shot someone while he
07:01was driving a car.
07:03Yes.
07:03Like, there's too many things happening.
07:04There's another question.
07:05I know you can accommodate, you know, vehicles.
07:07No, for sure.
07:08But I'm like, why was he driving a car with a gun in his hand?
07:11I'm just trying to imagine him.
07:13Or whatever, sorry.
07:14God.
07:16I'm really trying.
07:17I really am.
07:18I'm just imagining his friends like, nah, we ain't got nothing to do with this.
07:22Yeah.
07:22So he said, okay, I'll get rid of the body.
07:24Yes.
07:24I want to see him really getting rid of the body.
07:27How does he get the body out of, I mean, everything.
07:30So many questions.
07:31Yeah, but outside of all this, it's like, why?
07:33Why are you doing this?
07:35It is hard to pick up a kid when they sleep.
07:37Yeah.
07:38Just imagine trying to get rid of a grown man body.
07:41With no hands and no leg, no feet.
07:44Yeah, but there's some questions that go beyond, like, the absurdity of, like, the actual, you know,
07:50predicament that this man has, which is, again, driving a car, gun in the hand.
07:55Was this an altercation or was this an accidental shot?
07:58No, and they got into it.
08:00And then he shot some witnesses in the car?
08:03Yeah.
08:03And then he asked them to help him get rid of the body.
08:04Two people in the back seat.
08:06Yeah.
08:06What's wrong with you?
08:07And they're like, no, thank you.
08:08I'm sure that's what his friends say.
08:09What is wrong with you, man?
08:10Yeah.
08:12Screw it.
08:12I get it.
08:13Pulled off.
08:15And then all pedal to the metal.
08:18I'm nobody's criminal.
08:33Mm-hmm.
08:34Like, you know, you're just, this is not going to end up the way that you want to assume.
08:37What are you going to do to tackle him?
08:39You're going to put his hands out?
08:40Uh-uh.
08:41You ain't going nowhere.
08:42Wrap him up.
08:45You know what?
08:46I'm just going to go ahead and tap out now.
08:48You could have tripped him as they were running out the car.
08:50All right.
08:51Yep.
08:51Just, all right.
08:52My goodness.
08:54Wow.
08:55This is probably the most insane headline I've ever seen in my life.
08:58What is the actual headline?
08:59I got to pull it up.
09:00I'd love to hear what it's like.
09:01Yeah, I got to pull it up.
09:02TMZ, I saw it from TMZ.
09:04Oh, yeah.
09:04I want to see Black Sports Online.
09:06Oh, man.
09:07I want to see their headline.
09:09From the 713, the radio call said, suspect is armed, or is he?
09:16Yeah, this is really, yes, we are going to hell.
09:19I've recognized that in the course of reading these texts.
09:22From the, need an origin story, how he went from hero to villain.
09:25And that's also a good point, because, like, again, you started this with the ESPN, you know, document or whatever
09:31it was.
09:32Yeah, the 3% chance to live.
09:34Yeah.
09:35And you out here taking other people's lives.
09:37Mm-hmm.
09:38What does the headline say?
09:39Do you have it?
09:40I'm still looking for it right now.
09:42I know it's going to be bizarre.
09:44TMZ, they don't waste no time posting.
09:46No, they don't.
09:47I'm like, this just happened yesterday.
09:49You got to scroll through 33 stories to get to the one.
09:52Man with cornhole champion, cornhole professional with no hands and no legs,
09:59shoots friend while driving a vehicle disposes of body.
10:05Yeah.
10:05It's a little wordy.
10:06It's a little wordy.
10:06I don't know if that works.
10:07I mean, we could just listen to what they said in Fox 5 in D.C.
10:13That had me going right there.
10:15Now, watch closely.
10:16You're looking.
10:17Wait a minute.
10:20Now, to a bizarre story.
10:21Out of Charles County, police now investigating after a professional cornhole player with no
10:27hands and no legs is accused of firing a deadly shot all while driving.
10:32Yeah, she got it all in there.
10:33It's all right there.
10:34It's all right there.
10:35That is unbelievable.
10:36How much leg does he have?
10:38She said no legs.
10:40Is it just?
10:40Yeah, I think that we're basically.
10:42Is it to the knee?
10:43Is it?
10:43I think it might be past knee.
10:45If you.
10:46Like, shorter than the knee?
10:48Like, just.
10:48Yeah.
10:49Yeah.
10:49So, I'll repost the video from ESPN because ESPN actually posted that story.
10:55It was years ago.
10:56You know, all the stuff he overcame.
10:58Yeah.
10:58You know, the cornhole thing.
11:00And it looked like it's to his probably.
11:03It looked like it's to his knee.
11:04He ain't got that much leg to stand on.
11:06Mm-hmm.
11:07Literally.
11:07He could get around.
11:08Yeah.
11:09Nah, this is insane.
11:10What kind of gun was it?
11:13It was a handgun?
11:14I would hope it's a handgun.
11:16You sure?
11:18That's what you call setting him up.
11:20That's what you call setting him up.
11:21I'm trying to.
11:24How am I supposed to handle this seriously?
11:26I don't know.
11:27How?
11:27How?
11:28You got to do like him and just run away.
11:30Yeah, I guess so.
11:31Yeah.
11:31Run away from the situation.
11:32Put one foot in front of the other.
11:33Yep.
11:35Don't step on his toes, man.
11:40What else is to do?
11:42Why are you not hitting the swoosh town?
11:43Why have we not moved on to the next?
11:45Hey, we could just stay right here, man.
11:47The text's alone.
11:49You stand alone, my friend.
11:53I don't know what that is.
11:54I'm trying.
11:55I really am.
11:56Oh, somebody said they're going to have like a, you know,
11:58like the documentary, The Cornhole Killer.
12:02The cops didn't really have to go out on a limb to figure out the culprit.
12:06All right.
12:06Yeah, what took them so long to find him?
12:09Did it take them a while?
12:11I think it wasn't.
12:12They said they found him at the hospital.
12:15Yeah.
12:17Anyways.
12:18They say, put your hands up.
12:20I want to, like all jokes aside, I want to see how the cops went in.
12:24Yes.
12:24If they just went in like, just come on, man.
12:28Let me show you.
12:28Did they pick him up?
12:29Show me your hands.
12:30You know how they always do that?
12:32Yeah.
12:32Yeah.
12:33No, for sure.
12:33And I wonder if they just had to like bear hug him and just kind of walk with him like
12:37a sack of potatoes or something.
12:39Just kind of.
12:40He was being sincere.
12:42No, I'm very serious.
12:43I know, but it's just funny.
12:44I know, but it's funny.
12:45They ain't putting no handcuffs on him.
12:46Yeah.
12:48From the 281, this is hands down the best segment ever.
12:50I know, I know, I know that that's not, that was not sincere.
12:53You don't actually think this is the best segment ever.
12:55You just wanted to get another joke.
12:57I see you.
12:57I know who you are, 281.
12:59As bad as I want to go to another topic, I might have to say, should I go, should I
13:05get one more in?
13:06Yes, please.
13:07Anything.
13:10All right.
13:11I'll get y'all out of here on this.
13:12This is the Mixtape in Loot Sports Radio 610.
13:15Man, just give a salute to Stephen A. Smith.
13:18What?
13:19All right.
13:20Salute to Stephen A. Smith, man.
13:21He was talking about starting a GoFundMe account for one Jason Whitlock.
13:27You know what I'm contemplating doing, Jason?
13:29I haven't made a decision yet.
13:30But I'm thinking about starting a GoFundMe account for you.
13:34Because clearly you're that desperate.
13:36That's why you talk about me so much.
13:38Look at your numbers when you're talking about me and look at your numbers when you don't.
13:42I keep you relevant.
13:45That's perhaps the worst insult of it all.
13:49Fat Bastard Locke.
13:50Whoa!
13:52That's the title of the GoFundMe account.
13:55Fat Bastard Locke.
13:58And that was on first take.
13:59No, I'm just playing.
14:00No, that was on his personal podcast.
14:03Straight shooter.
14:04Imagine you tuning in on a Tuesday.
14:05Just like, all right, let's see what's happening.
14:07Maybe the draft, NBA stuff getting high and heavy.
14:10Fat Bastard Locke.
14:15That's real petty, though.
14:16Yeah.
14:16And by the way, he was responding to Jason Whitlock, who were on, I want to say he was on
14:21Cam Newton's podcast, that fourth and one.
14:24Cam Newton had Jason Whitlock on?
14:26He had him on.
14:27Why?
14:27And he asked him about, you know, why you don't like Stephen A. Smith?
14:31And then he went on the whole thing, and now Stephen A. was responding to that.
14:37Dang.
14:38Yeah.
14:39So if you want to donate.
14:40Yeah.
14:41I wonder if that's real.
14:42Because they did show a picture of it.
14:44Oh, a real GoFundMe?
14:45Yeah.
14:46I wonder if it's real.
14:47I wonder if it's legit.
14:48I doubt Stephen A. actually did it.
14:50But I bet someone out there went and started the GoFundMe.
14:53Fat Bastard Locke.
14:56That's the title of the GoFundMe account.
15:00Fat Bastard Locke.
15:01He just had to say it again.
15:02He just had to say it again.
15:04Unbelievable.
15:05All right.
15:05This whole segment, I don't know what to do with it, but I'm glad that it's over for today.
15:10Y'all are keeping going on the text line, though.
15:12Y'all are going with us.
15:13If we're going to the hot place, y'all are going with us, apparently, with the texts that are coming
15:17in.
15:17There's no question about it.
15:18Take the gloves off for this one.
15:20He's standing on business.
15:23He can't lie in court because he won't have to put his hand on the Bible.
15:26Just all of you.
15:27All of you.
15:27I know he's going to be standing ten toes down.
15:29You're going to be up in prison.
15:30That is the mixtape.
15:32If he was listening to that mixtape, he'd probably give a round of applause.
15:36120 p.m. right here on Sports Radio 6.
15:39Hand of God.
15:40He would.
15:42Every weekday.
15:44At the Figgy Fig on social media.
15:46There's more, I'm sure, that are coming.
15:47Yeah.
15:48If you see something that's mixtape worthy, I'm just, I don't know.
15:51All right.
15:52Coming up next, we run away from this segment as fast as we can.
15:55Get ready to hand things off to the fellows of the drive.
15:57We'll do that next.
