00:00On today's show...
00:30Why don't you admit to your daughter and everybody watching this what you do? Come on!
00:34Oh, it's a waste of space!
00:35That's the reality of what you've done.
00:39Why now? Why did it take you so long?
00:41You look disgusting!
00:43You can't even stay off the booth to come here and impress us.
00:48I'm an alcoholic.
00:50Up till today when we come here, I told my kids I didn't have a dad. He was dead.
00:55Did it? It wasn't as bad as your mate in the house.
00:57Please go for her!
00:58Remember the easy side of the life. You remember...
01:01Make my tea, Sharon. Make my beer, Sharon.
01:04Roll my joint, Sharon.
01:05That's your life. That's what you remember.
01:07You've ruined a family.
01:31Thank you very much indeed. Good morning.
01:32And as ever a big, big welcome to the show.
01:34Now, my first guest today, Kirsty, is here because she says that ever since her brother broke up with his
01:39ex, Claire, Claire has not stopped harassing her and their family.
01:42Now, Kirsty claims that Claire has stolen from her, cheated on the brother and has even threatened to beat her
01:48unborn baby out of her.
01:50She's here quite simply to say, stay away from me, stay away from my brother and stay away from my
01:56family.
01:56Big day for this lady, Kirsty, on the Jeremy Kyle Show. Give her a round of applause.
02:01Oh, how are you?
02:03You look ready for action. Take a seat.
02:05That's about the most determined walkout I've ever seen. How are you?
02:08I'm all right.
02:09Thanks for coming on. We're going to keep this as simple as possible.
02:12You and Claire, Kirsty, used to be quite close.
02:15In fact, you introduced her to your brother, Grant. Can I just say at the outset of this show, we
02:21do everything that we can to protect everything about everybody that comes on.
02:25For medical reasons, Grant can't appear on the show, on the stage, but he's aware of what's going on.
02:31You and Claire were close, you introduced her to Grant, and then it all starts going wrong. Tell me why.
02:37Well, what it was, when I first introduced her to Grant, she was all right. She looked after him and
02:43that.
02:44And then when he had a fit in the bathroom...
02:46He's epileptic, isn't he?
02:47Yeah, she just stood there and just watched him and walked off.
02:51Who's that?
02:53That's Cooley.
02:56That's Claire's cousin, who's here to support her. We'll come to you in a sec, pal.
02:59You say she's stolen from you.
03:02Stolen from the family.
03:04And more importantly, you said, has been harassing you.
03:06Yep.
03:06All of you. Why? How?
03:08She's getting her friends and her family on Facebook saying I'm a dirty tramp.
03:14And then, when she sees me in the street, she's going to kick my unborn baby out of me.
03:19What's today about, then, in your mind?
03:21I just want her to leave us all alone. I've had enough.
03:23I've seriously had enough of her treating my family like...
03:29Money.
03:31Who's that?
03:32My mum.
03:37My life.
03:39Right. So, we say it always. Controlled environment.
03:43We'll try and get this all out. We'll try and deal with the allegations, the cheating, the abuse of your
03:47brother, the harassment, everything.
03:49We'll try and do it in the right way. Should we get her out?
03:52Yep.
03:52You were best friends with this girl.
03:54Yep.
03:54Not any longer. This is Claire on the Jeremy Kyle Show.
04:03Oh, apparently, she's refusing to come out. Come with me, Danny boy. Come on.
04:07You can slow down.
04:10What's the matter?
04:12Why are you refusing to come out?
04:15Because I am. Because I'm not getting called a liar when she's using me for my money.
04:19I went even with Grant when he had that fit.
04:22A bit funny, isn't it, Claire? Yeah, right? How are we going to do that?
04:25Before Christmas, you and your mother and your brother and your step-dash was using me for my money.
04:30No, he wasn't, actually. You took my mother for a mug.
04:33You took my mother for a mug.
04:33No, I never. He was taking money off me, not me.
04:35Funny, that.
04:36So it's like you can stand out and call me a bad mother, is it?
04:38You are a bad mother.
04:39Do you know what? You're making the s*** better.
04:41Drag my mum off, Claire. Carry on, mate. Carry on.
04:43Yeah, but this is my mum in care like you and Grant.
04:45And what? And f*** what?
04:48And what if we are in care?
04:50This is my mum in care, yeah?
04:52Yeah, but this is my mum is out there, right?
04:54Yeah, but do you know why my mother couldn't come?
04:56Because she can't look after my brothers.
04:58Well, at least my mum's out there, mate.
05:00Thought you're mine and my brothers back.
05:01Sorry, hello.
05:02Hi. Did you go out with Grant?
05:04Yeah.
05:04Were you best mates with her?
05:06Yeah.
05:06So how did we get to this, then?
05:08Because I swear with Grant because I was getting accused of cheating on Grant when I left.
05:12Were you cheating on him?
05:13No.
05:13You would?
05:14Yes, you would.
05:15How do you know? Were you there?
05:17No.
05:17I've got told by enough people.
05:19How many people come on the Jeremy Kyle show and say, I was told?
05:23Have you got proof that she cheated on your brother?
05:25Because she rang my brother having sex on the phone.
05:28No, I never.
05:28Yes, you did.
05:29No, I never.
05:30How did you have sex on a phone?
05:33I didn't have my phone, actually.
05:34Were you having sex on the phone?
05:36No, I wasn't.
05:37Where's the anger from?
05:39She says you stole.
05:40She says you cheated.
05:41I've never stolen off of her.
05:42Yes, you have.
05:43No, I have not.
05:44Yes, you have.
05:44I've had my own money.
05:45I've got to play for my youngest, Babby.
05:47Your mother doesn't play for you, not, does she?
05:49Don't she?
05:50When she gets her job seekers, mate, she...
05:53...out, herself out.
05:54Yeah, she gives us money, Claire.
05:57What?
05:57So it's right for you and your mother to use me for my money?
05:59You haven't used you for money.
06:00What?
06:00So it's right for your mother to cheat on Scott, is it?
06:02She hasn't cheated on Scott.
06:03So that's where you're...
06:05Why's Scott cheating on your mother in a taxi?
06:07Taxi didn't have a bird.
06:08That's funny, isn't it?
06:10Funny.
06:10Is that your mum?
06:11Yeah.
06:11And her boyfriend, Scott?
06:12Yeah.
06:13Which is my stepdad.
06:15Nice.
06:15And you say he's cheating on her?
06:16Yeah.
06:17And he's never cheating.
06:17He never will.
06:18How did you know that?
06:19Who's not my mum?
06:20Who's not my mum?
06:20Who's not my mum?
06:22Who's not my mum?
06:23That's the mum?
06:23That's my mum.
06:25Right, I'll tell you what, let's get...
06:26Come out here first.
06:27Let's get mum Michelle on the show.
06:28Good mum.
06:29Are you coming?
06:30You've done well.
06:32Come on.
06:32Come on.
06:33Come on.
06:34Yes, can I just sit there?
06:35Come on.
06:36Come on.
06:36Come on.
06:38Can I watch?
06:39It's simple.
06:40Can I move the chair?
06:41I've been ill.
06:41Sit on the chair.
06:42Hello, Michelle.
06:43How are you?
06:43All right, thank you.
06:44Welcome to the show.
06:45What's your view of this?
06:46Apparently you're...
06:47What?
06:48Claire?
06:49Yeah?
06:49I never cheated on Scott.
06:51Scott's never cheated on me, so who's the guy cheating with him?
06:53Don't sit there and lie.
06:54Can't lie.
06:55So why's Chris Nick run to and he said to Scott, oh, my mum's cheating on you?
06:58Where did this all start from?
07:00Because I was glad I was...
07:01Because I found him cheating with another book from somewhere else.
07:05And apparently the other one has cheated.
07:06Funny.
07:07Funny, yeah.
07:08And then I'm meant to be pregnant with his kids.
07:09Do you know what?
07:09You're going round the whole of Bristol saying you're pregnant and you're tired.
07:15I've been ill.
07:16And Sarah Miles.
07:18Sarah and Mike, you told Sarah on BBM or Facebook that...
07:22That's funny because I haven't got a black baby no more.
07:24Grant, the brother I was telling you about, who for medical reasons can't be on the show.
07:27He's with Graham.
07:28So you're not with Grant.
07:29No.
07:29You deny stealing from them and you have...
07:31I've never stalled off that family.
07:33It was them using me for my money.
07:34Oh, yeah.
07:35What is it?
07:35You took us out to get Christmas presents right.
07:38What do you say to me?
07:39Pick whatever you want, correct?
07:41Yeah, but you are still using me for my money.
07:43I was using you for my money.
07:45You're going, oh, I need money.
07:46What, can she supply for a unborn baby when it's born?
07:48Excuse me, don't bring my unborn baby into this.
07:52You ain't even f***ing born yet.
07:53Well, could you shout less or he might learn that that's the only word...
07:56Well, what are you saying?
07:58Excuse me.
07:59Excuse me.
07:59Have you threatened...
08:00Hello?
08:01Have you threatened to...
08:02This is disgusting.
08:03To threaten to kick her unborn baby out?
08:05No, I haven't.
08:06I got a text.
08:07Who's that?
08:08A Scot.
08:09A Scot.
08:09Who's Macaulay?
08:11My cousin.
08:11Let's get Macaulay.
08:12He's your cousin.
08:13He's your cousin.
08:14Yes, he is.
08:16He's my cousin.
08:17He's coming as well.
08:18He's my cousin.
08:18Don't believe me.
08:19When he comes out, he'll tell you it's them.
08:20Where's Macaulay?
08:21Is he here?
08:23What right have you got?
08:25What right have you got?
08:26What right have you got?
08:26What right have you got?
08:27You got unborn baby.
08:28You're accusing her of taking money off of you.
08:29She has taken money off of me.
08:30Oh, no, no.
08:30She's never taken money off of anybody in her life.
08:32She has actually.
08:33I'm a cousin.
08:34I should know that.
08:34Thank you very much.
08:35Funny that, innit?
08:36Yeah.
08:36Funny that.
08:37Where are you when she was threatening my brother then?
08:39Where are you when she was just stood there watching my brother have her fit?
08:43I wasn't...
08:43I don't believe she's got...
08:46I was there in the flat, yeah, right?
08:48We had a bang in the bathroom, right?
08:50I asked Claire nicely to go and check on Grant.
08:53Yeah?
08:53Because I'm not going to the bathroom with Grant.
08:55Macaulay, did she treat Grant badly?
08:58No.
08:58She was nothing but nice because of her husband.
08:59You were kind of rambling.
09:01Do you know what?
09:02I always spoke to him on the phone.
09:04Yeah, yeah, yeah.
09:05Yeah, yeah.
09:06What?
09:06So one minute.
09:07So you have a sit down and call me a bad mother.
09:09You have a sit down and call me a bad mother.
09:11I say what?
09:12I do my best for my kids.
09:14I really do.
09:14You know what?
09:15Still got your child benefit money?
09:16For your daughter.
09:17Right, let's just have a pot out.
09:18Scott's on the Jeremy Kyle show as well.
09:20There you go.
09:21Scott's coming.
09:21Can I get a chair, please?
09:23Yeah, yeah.
09:24Oh, right.
09:27Get up in that fridge again, yeah?
09:29Dad.
09:30Go on.
09:30Go on.
09:32Sit back now.
09:33You!
09:34You're lucky this guy's in the...
09:36I don't want to get the door.
09:38No.
09:39Do you know what?
09:40You've had one of your school since, for a lads of your...
09:43Sorry.
09:43I don't make threats.
09:44OK.
09:45It's not making s**t to each other.
09:48And you, right?
09:49Don't do that.
09:49Don't do that, OK?
09:49No, I said once.
09:51Can I?
09:52Can I ask a question?
09:54A really interesting question.
09:57Why the hell does it matter if she's not with him anymore?
09:59Why don't you all just go in opposite directions and ignore each other?
10:03Go your way, go with your answer, go with your answer
10:07And then you grab him back into it
10:09Right, sit down a minute, I wanna, excuse me, I wanna speak to him, be quiet
10:12You are with her, are you cheating on her?
10:15Yes, I am
10:16Pardon?
10:16That is b****
10:18Have you cheated on her?
10:18She's never in the flat by herself
10:20Never in the flat by herself
10:22No, it's
10:22I tell you what, at least my f****** has told you I never want her
10:25Why don't you all go to work and not sit in your flat and argue and try and get off
10:28with each other?
10:29Well that might be a start
10:32Anyway
10:36I actually don't understand what
10:38What, when you're threatening my side of family?
10:40My family ain't got f****** to do with this
10:42I don't really understand any more than this
10:44You used to be mates, don't interrupt
10:47You introduced her to your brother, he's an epileptic
10:50Can't be on for medical reasons, he's talking to the old Graham back there
10:53And then you finish with him and then from that
10:57He basically cheated on me
10:58Alright
10:58But you say she cheated
11:00He says she cheated
11:01You say they've nicked money
11:02Shut up a minute
11:03I'm not doing a lie detector
11:05A drugs result or anything
11:06I want to go and lie down in a dark room
11:08I've got a headache
11:09You say she's nicked
11:10You say they've nicked
11:11You don't like her allegations
11:13I don't know why you're here
11:14You don't like his allegations
11:16At the end of the day
11:17If I'm completely honest
11:19Come on here
11:19If I'm completely honest
11:21You know what?
11:21No, we're s****** time mates
11:22Oh, you could
11:23These are just s******s that make
11:25Are you s******s that make?
11:28Don't make me laugh
11:29You have to pee laugh
11:30Could I
11:30I s******s as decent like you, right?
11:32Could I
11:33Could I ask a question?
11:34****
11:34Shut up!
11:35You're pregnant
11:36Right, are you pregnant?
11:38No, I've done a pregnancy test
11:39It'll come back negative
11:40Woo!
11:41That's great
11:46And also
11:47I've got an implant in
11:48So I can't get pregnant
11:49We can
11:50We can
11:52We can actually verify
11:53That she did a pregnancy test
11:55I didn't do it
11:56Obviously one of the aftercare department did
11:58And you're not pregnant
11:59Which is great
11:59Can I though also act
12:00Slightly
12:01Try and appear intelligent
12:02Why does that matter to you three
12:04Whether she's pregnant or not?
12:06Because she can't even look up
12:06Because
12:07She's gone, no, Mitch
12:08I've got my other kids into it
12:09I've lost too
12:10Don't bring her unborn baby into it
12:12And do you know what?
12:12My kids been adopted, mate
12:13I don't give a s******
12:13For what? You're bringing my kids into it
12:15You brought her unborn baby into it
12:17Do you know what, Roy?
12:18You're calling me a bad man
12:19She has been a bad man
12:20Her grand
12:21And the rest of the kids been in care
12:23Really?
12:23That's what?
12:24Do you know why they break hair?
12:25That's meant to be a good man
12:26To that hair stop
12:27No
12:27So basically
12:29You're not with Grant
12:30No
12:30And you say he was a cheat
12:32But basically you're not with Grant
12:33You don't want to be with Grant
12:35No, I don't want to be with Grant
12:36I don't want to be with Grant
12:37Get on with my life
12:38So you're not pregnant with Grant's baby
12:40No
12:43And you're not
12:44You're happy she's not with Grant
12:46Nobody really is doing anything other than shouting at each other
12:49I know Grant can't be on the show for medical reasons
12:52In the nicest possible way
12:54Right?
12:55What on earth do you need to have anything to do with each other?
12:58Why don't you just stop
12:59I haven't finished
13:01I haven't finished
13:02Finished bitching and accusing each other
13:04He's not with her
13:06Right?
13:07There's a war
13:08And there's no reason why there's a war
13:10And it's going to continue until you all go
13:12Because they want me back with him
13:13Until you know what he was saying
13:14He had a mistake
13:15He was in bed as well
13:16The worst friend I had in bed made
13:20I don't want to talk about sex
13:22I don't want to talk about sex
13:24So is your family
13:26What?
13:26So it's right for her to accuse me of friends on Facebook
13:29Is it?
13:30Do you want to be back with Claire?
13:35Brilliant
13:36No I don't
13:36Do you want to be back with Grant?
13:38No I don't
13:38He's with family in bed
13:43So actually
13:43Nobody has to have anything to do with each other again
13:47She doesn't want to be with him
13:48Because apparently he's not great in bed
13:50I'm not going there
13:51He doesn't want to be with her
13:52You're not pregnant
13:53Which is a joyous
13:54I still don't know why you're here
13:55Because I'm not supporting my family
13:56You're not supporting my family
13:58Why are they?
13:58Why are they in bed?
14:00She doesn't need support
14:01Don't
14:02Don't start on me
14:03You were once friends
14:04You don't
14:05Me
14:06Me
14:06Me
14:06Me
14:06Me
14:06Me
14:06Me
14:06Me
14:06Me
14:06Me
14:07Me
14:09Me
14:09Me
14:10Me
14:11Me
14:11Me
14:13Me
14:13Me
14:13Me
14:13Me
14:13Me
14:14Me
14:14Me
14:14Me
14:14Me
14:14Me
14:14Me
14:22me you're not obviously this is how good I am at this job you're obviously not
14:27going to be friends again so I'm thinking I'm thinking unless I'm totally
14:32wrong that you three should go back to wherever you came from taking grant and
14:36all of the accusations and the rubbish should stop and you right should run
14:41along I still don't know why thank you you have a bath every day where's she going
15:05at what what I don't actually know where anybody's going I'm back after this
15:11great don't go anywhere there you go

18:11not
18:11sitting there listening to that apology for what you said about her unborn baby no i want a apology
18:17for bringing my kids into it i want a apology for bringing my kids into it you brought my kid
18:21into
18:21it first would it not as i said on stage be much better if everybody stopped throwing horrible
18:31well the only way that's going to happen and the only way that you can go like that is if
18:35you both go
18:36right we're not going to say that again we shouldn't have said that now whoever said about her kids
19:00excuse me you told her that her other half was having an affair she refutes it she says you lot
19:04made
19:04comments about her kids excuse me why don't you i don't i still don't know why you're here because
19:13i was told to come on you with one can i just say this why don't you
19:44i was about to ask if she was still in love with him anyway right well plainly that was the
19:49wrong
19:49question anyway here's the thing right the insults the jibes the harassment have to start start
19:56stay down oh god excuse me i'm not going to kick off what i'm not going to kick off do
20:03you not think
20:03it's a good idea if you and your family go in one direction she i still don't know why is
20:08it
20:08now i'm going to keep telling you when you ask me i'm supporting her i find it childish
20:14immature and a waste of time and there are real things going on in the world
20:18you three don't want to see you two you two don't want to see that the only way that this
20:22is going
20:22to work is if you stop insulting each other harassing each other sending messages on whatever social
20:26networking site you might understand and i don't whatever it is just leave it okay stop insulting them
20:32you stop insulting them why don't you stop it there first it's just what is this the playground
20:36it doesn't matter what's the store in the bank come for me because i don't know it's for me
20:43jeremy does it what can i just say one thing without kicking off please do all i came here to
20:48do was one support them yeah and two get her and grant to block each other on facebook block each
20:55i don't know what it means i don't know what it means could you block him and not poke him
21:08on facebook
21:08i've been on facebook for a while so well so where's this coming for i've been on facebook
21:13she says that she's not i'm just gonna put this into no because i don't really understand she's not
21:18going to talk to him on facebook right block him can you get him to block her and not poke
21:23her if
21:23he blocks her she's fine and then it's job done hold on a minute if he blocks me then i'd
21:28have to
21:28block him because once you've blocked each other is there any reason um for anybody to have any
21:32able to get in contact and he'll be job done so basically you've come to my show so that i
21:37can
21:37convince two people to block each other on facebook so we're going to talk are you on facebook
21:56do you promise do you promise calmly to walk away look at me and not contact each other anymore
22:02do you do you yeah that's what i want do you want do you three want to go that way
22:06that'd be lovely
22:07thank you very much thank you do you agree calmly to put all of this behind you
22:11and not get in contact with them and get on with your life with him yes yeah yeah is that
22:17all
22:17right yeah so you can go that way thanks for being on although i'm still a little bit i know
22:29when i was when i was when i was at school i never thought i'd find myself standing in a
22:33corridor
22:33talking to five people who basically only want to block each other on facebook and that way
22:37essentially they won't end up slagging each other off and being at war in the future i hope i've done
22:41my bit for facebook and i'll be back after this break thank you do you need to find out who
22:56is the

23:31thank you very much today welcome back my next guest today natasha is here to confront her dad david
23:35who she says chose a life of drink and drugs over his own family now natasha claims she doesn't want
23:41a relationship with her dad but wants to show her younger sister becky exactly what kind of guy
23:45this man really is so much more to this story on the show is natasha give her a round of
23:50applause
23:59can i just say take a seat relax can i say what i always say to people which is it's
24:03very easy for
24:03people to sit in the audience and think oh that's funny that's sad that's whatever but this is your
24:08life isn't it and interestingly for us um you're here to see your dad david but a guy that you
24:14haven't
24:14really had much contact with for a long long time and and you're not actually here to make it right
24:19you're here because your younger sister becky who's 17 who i think was two or three when he left when
24:25when she last saw him you want to put her straight on a few things yeah you say this guy
24:30destroyed the
24:30family how um just drink drugs i used to beat my mom constantly what was your childhood like awful
24:38first memory um people broke into our house held acid to my mom's throat um he sat me on his
24:46lap while
24:47they beat him with a hammer these were drug dealers weren't they yeah drug dealers broke into the
24:51family's house desperate for money that he owed them beat her up do you ever see him take drugs all
24:58the
24:58time drink even get out of bed before 11 until he'd had at least three cans of beer saw him
25:04beat your own
25:05mother um just sell drugs in the house cut it up in the house didn't care when did he go
25:11how old were
25:12you when he left my mom um we moved to my auntie's house because we had my he had people
25:18after him
25:19and then in the middle of the night my mom just left she just had enough and left um well
25:25he was asleep
25:25and obviously that was it never made an effort to come and see you have had any content he tried
25:30to um
25:31um he tried to come around the house basically obviously people told him to stay away family
25:36because the family my mom hid it she didn't want the family to know and she hid it well um
25:40and then
25:41just eventually she just had enough and she just hit rock bottom um he went to our house two days
25:47later
25:48and sold everything on a house clearance so we had nothing this guy um as is pretty usual on this
25:54show
25:55says i've changed my life um i'm drug free that's the past i want to make it right what i
26:03always say
26:03to people is yeah but what about the mess you left behind what did it do to you it destroyed
26:08us um
26:09my mom hit rock bottom she couldn't do anything i had to step in and be a mum to becky
26:15bring her up
26:17um how does it make you feel knowing that becky at 17 and i'm sure does want to make her
26:23own
26:23decisions but is almost if you like looking at him through rose-tinted spectacles does that annoy you
26:29no it doesn't because we haven't told her certain things to protect her i mean she does she wasn't
26:35in it and she doesn't need to know but obviously she's getting older now and she can only make her
26:39own decision she's watching this backstage she's going to see him come out what are you going to say to
26:43him what what's what what do you want to achieve today i don't want to achieve anything i'm here to
26:48support rebecca but she just needs to know the truth about him and there is no way that i'm going
26:52to
26:52let him up um just in terms of a little bit more about how he treated you we heard about
27:00the drugs we
27:02heard about the dealers but you actually grew up watching this guy beat your mother up yeah in front of
27:11my friends
27:14just didn't care
27:18just to try to go out of bed at three o'clock in the morning it's good food if she
27:21didn't used to
27:22beat her how old were you when that happened
27:24so um he's here today saying he's changed his life and he wants a relationship with his family
27:34i'll leave this to you because you're a world place to do it uh david's on the show ladies and
27:37i suspect you won't be clapping but that's up to you
27:46what was that look for what do you expect people to do give you a rousing cheer no not at
27:51all
27:53where's your mum in the audience
27:57what do you think when you see that i used to be i haven't spoken to you yet shut up
28:02i'm talking
28:02to her what do you think when you see him i've just known it all my life since i've left
28:08him he's
28:09no good for him i'm sorry it's just not going to happen they're my kids not you're mine as well
28:15they're not not anymore that's it you haven't been a dad's while
28:21becky i've been uh
28:22i've been through so much
28:24yeah i know you're a compulsive liar
28:26used to take us up to you see you all the time you phone me up telling me you was
28:31in hospital so i'd
28:33come up there telling me you're dying because you've got only got a bit of liver left and next
28:36thing you know you're on the streets again taking drugs i was in hospital for 11 months
28:40why was that just out of interest why was that just out of interest chronic vasculitis and why did
28:45you what did that happen then through taking drugs and you were violent to that woman why don't you
28:50admit it as they're making out not as violent how violent were you i was violent yeah what did
28:56you do i slept off broke all her teeth in her mouth black eyes who are you sorry this is
29:04my
29:04partner i was never bad to my children i just stood there and looked at you you didn't even
29:11recognize me because last time you seen me you're so at your age you don't even know me i haven't
29:16seen you for 10 years come up here and admit to them that you're a mug you're a scumbag you're
29:20a waste
29:21of space and you'll do everything in your power to do it now now you lay a hand on her
29:28while i'm
29:29still alive mate i'll bury you myself i promise you that now you what i'll bury you myself i promise
29:34you that right now yeah watch all right you're scum mate you need to stand up and grow up here
29:40did
29:40you ever see any of this are you how long i didn't see anything i've been in touch for 13
29:43years
29:43what has it done to her it's ruined her it's ruined her why would she make it up that's my
29:48point
29:49and you're one of those people that comes out and fires an excuse for everything aren't you
29:52no not at all well then what are you going to say what are you going to say to your
29:55daughter your
29:55wife's cowering there your ex-wife the fair play she got away and how nice to have a bloke in
29:59her
29:59life your daughter who actually wants to support her and protect her come on what did you do
30:03he's been as good as gold but he's not as good as gold as he makes out we're not talking
30:05about him
30:06we're talking about you my friends i know well then if we're talking about you why don't you admit
30:10to your daughter and everybody watching this what you did come on i was a waste of space
30:15what did you take i took heroin and crack cocaine in the house yeah not in front of my children
30:21drug
30:22dealers came to your house my children no they come to rob me you used to send this young kid
30:28out to go and buy foil so you could take your drugs true or false that's a lie no it's
30:33not used to make
30:33me walk around the street and ask knock on people's door for foil and if i didn't do it because
30:38one day i
30:38hid because it's embarrassing considering that we lived in there for a long time and most of them are my
30:43friends and i hid and when i come home yeah you went mad at me because i never got you
30:48any i don't
30:48quite know what somebody like you i'm going to make things up like this what are you why are you
30:52here
30:52today because i want to get back in contact with my children why is that then because you're
30:56suddenly drug free are you yeah i am really and i'll give a drug test today oh whoopie do how
31:01long
31:01you've been drug free for two years two years that's marvelous how old are you 30 years well done how
31:05old
31:06how old are you tash 27 try 25 years too late pal and you know i find quite interesting about
31:11this
31:11story and i love his passion there's a 17 year old that you left when she was two right she's
31:17probably
31:17a little bit starry eyed she probably the last time i saw her she was 10. no but you left
31:21when she was
31:21two well no mum no why would you want anything to do with you why would she 13 14 years
31:27you've been
31:28gone there's your youngest daughter look at her why would you want anything to do with her now
31:33because i love her do you what about tash i love tash i love your life ain't worth nothing
31:40i don't need a dad i haven't had one all this time i do not need one i'm being ruined
31:44here to
31:44know like i've got my own family my own partner i've got two children you what i'm being ruined
31:50here right fair play i'm not saying i'm not saying i don't you do the way you just come out
31:59with that
31:59comment was like oh look at everyone look at me look how sad my life is you chose your life
32:03to be
32:04like that it might not not said my life was sad but it's not you can hear the tone in
32:08your voice when
32:09you speak you're waiting for someone to go what am i supposed to sound like self-pity right
32:14it is you know what makes me laugh it's being everybody in the audience but that's the point
32:17isn't it right no when you came out here and you went it's been really hard for me it hasn't
32:22been hard for you it's been harder for everybody else who had to watch you ruin their lives that's
32:27what you don't get isn't it that's what they want to hear not some as he quite rightly says
32:32self-pitying drivel making excuses for what you didn't do that's what they want i don't know if
32:38you've got a chance with this 17 year old but i'll tell you something mate you need to be honest
32:41you need to be open and more than anything you need to take responsibility for what you did and
32:45didn't do i understand that so let me just so let me just tell you something for for the people
32:53in the audience this man did a drugs test today didn't you yeah i did and uh you're on methadone
32:59which it would show for because that's uh something that's trying to help you get a ferry but but
33:03strangely it shows you positive for cannabis yeah i'm sorry i thought that was a drug yes
33:11and you also drink every day yeah i do so how old are you i'm 46 so 25 years down
33:18the line that's
33:19not such a great turnaround in fact it's taken you 25 long years to get off heroin and you're also
33:23taking cannabis and you're still drinking you're pitiful you expect everybody to say it'll be all
33:29right what about these people any idea what it did to her look at her i've ruined her life
33:34no you haven't she's got a life well i've got one now i've ruined some of it it's taken a
33:39long
33:39time but i've been a parent since i was 16 and you know what i could never ever choose anything
33:44over my children what does becky mean to you you brought her up right yeah she's like my sorry
33:48good daughter really she's um she's backstage i'm going to ask if we can head back there she's with
33:52graham just briefly um are you all right if we head back there bex is that all right
33:56be a distance um what are you going to say to your daughter
34:03jeez have you not even thought about it i didn't know that i was going to get so bombarded
34:08with all the questions i didn't think that it was going to be easy
34:13you're standing and going okay daddy don't worry you come back ruin our life again
34:19i don't think so i'm different you're different different there's the point you might well be
34:25different well you still take cannabis and get drunk every day i don't think it's that much different
34:29but you might be different in your mind but it's that acknowledgement of what you did and how your
34:34actions affected these people they've had to fight to get back where they were that's nothing to do
34:41with you you're so it's to do with me it's the drink it's the drink it's the drink it's the
34:48drink
34:48why didn't you 25 years ago go and get help to get off the drugs and off the drink because
34:52you had a young family and you were supposed to be a father why didn't you do that
35:00because you know he's been in so many rehabilitation centres he's been on so much
35:05methadone it actually he one day he was actually on methadone and i remember this
35:10that he was actually still taking the heroin but selling the methadone
35:14i mean you want to talk to your 17 year old do you will you come with me will you
35:18come with me
35:19as well and mum come on then let's see what you can actually do or not do this should be
35:22interesting
35:23we'll go this way that's the reality of what you've done
35:29you look disgusting i'm an alcoholic can i tell you something you won't see any of them so why don't
35:35you
35:35do the right thing and be a man because you're not
35:47i would die to see my two kids every day
35:50you're not
35:51you're not your sex they should shut your house
35:54what are they getting shot
35:55what come on
35:56come on
35:57come on
35:59get off
36:00get off
36:02Does he not work?
36:03No.
36:04He's a doldossa.
36:05Could you repeat that?
36:06He's a doldossa.
36:07Dossa.
36:08What are you saying there?
36:09Get out of my face now!
36:11Some V-buff, V-buff, V-buff.
36:13The DNA test results show that David...
36:15What does this mean to you, pal?
36:17It means the wolf.
36:18You're a liar!
36:20You're taking one of the most highly addictive substances known to man.
36:25And it's going to be really, really difficult to stop using that.
36:30The DNA test results show that Aaron...
36:35He's done a roller.
36:38Whichever one of you it is, has ripped my heart out.
36:41The whole thing I do.
36:42No way.
37:03That's the reality of what you've done.
37:05Oh!
37:12You're joking.
37:14You're lying slow.
37:15You're lying slow.
37:16You're lying slow.
37:17Why now?
37:18Why is it taking you so long?
37:19Look at you.
37:20You look disgusting.
37:21I don't remember you like that.
37:23I don't remember you at all.
37:24You look disgusting.
37:26Look at your face.
37:28You've done to yourself out of my family.
37:30Why bring us here today when you didn't remember her name when she walked on the stage?
37:35Are you trying to call me?
37:36Yes.
37:37I was having all questions bombarded at me, babe.
37:40You stink booze.
37:41You can't even stay after booze to come here and impress us.
37:45I'm an alcoholic.
37:47I told you that.
37:48If you're going to come, I don't understand you're going to come here and you want to
37:49change everything and have everyone back in your family.
37:52But you can't just give up one thing, you need to give it all up.
37:55Because I tell you what, you've got some fantastic grandchildren.
37:58But until you prove and earn it, you are not even meeting them.
38:02And do you know what?
38:03Do you know the worst thing is?
38:04My kids think he was dead up till today.
38:06Up till today when we come here, I told my kids I didn't have a dad.
38:09He was dead.
38:10Because it's a shame fool that I didn't want my kids ever to know.
38:14You're just hearing the stories of what you put mum through.
38:16It's not fair.
38:17Then you come on the stage and I had it beat her.
38:19You did.
38:19What you put her through?
38:20I did it.
38:21It wasn't as bad as you're making it out.
38:24You were probably so hot in some mad clad in some other planet.
38:29You don't remember it like that, David.
38:31You remember the easy side of life.
38:34You remember, make my tea, Sharon.
38:36Make my beer, Sharon.
38:37Roll my joint, Sharon.
38:39That's your life.
38:40That's what you remember.
38:41You don't remember the hurt and the crying behind the closed doors of you closed forum, David.
38:45That's the point you need to wake up.
38:47You've ruined a family.
38:50You.
38:50What about...
38:51No one else.
38:52Don't blame a drug.
38:53Mum used to go to work.
38:55You were starting to leave us indoors on our own.
38:57We used to bring your girlfriend around.
38:59No.
38:59What girlfriend?
39:02She wasn't my girlfriend.
39:03No, but she was always at our house, wasn't she?
39:05Don't tell mum she's been here.
39:07You don't get on your knees, start begging or beginning to believe they can understand you.
39:13You won't see any of them.
39:14So why don't you do the right thing and be a man?
39:18Because you're not.
39:20Was that right?
39:22A man doesn't mean you've got a dangling between your legs mate.
39:24It means you stand up.
39:26You take responsibility.
39:27You become the man people want you to.
39:29You don't just walk around like that I'm a man, do you?
39:32No, I don't do that anyway.
39:33You've got to have principles.
39:34You've got to have morals.
39:35You've got to have respect.
39:36You've got none of them, Dave.
39:38None of them.
39:39No.
39:40No.
39:40All right.
39:42So you're just going to accept that?
39:43If you had morals, respect for your family, you wouldn't have done that to mum.
39:46What you've done to mum has put me through a lot because it's still hit her 12, 20 years after
39:50whatever happened.
39:51That's 15 years ago.
39:53It's a long time.
39:55It's hurt her.
39:55She has been so depressed, yeah, that this child has walked in on her, fitting, biting her tongue off, blood
40:02all round the room.
40:03Because she's still depressed and can't handle the fact of what you put her through.
40:07Because she went through the stage of drinking.
40:09You absolutely annihilated her.
40:11She was nothing.
40:13Nothing.
40:14Absolutely.
40:15She was rock bottom.
40:16We had to pick her off the floor.
40:19Absolutely pick her off the floor.
40:21You don't understand, yeah?
40:23Although you left the consequences we still had to deal with after you left.
40:28And all you said on that stage was, I can't really handle this because I didn't realise it'd be so
40:32ruined.
40:33What did you think they'd do?
40:34Hang out the bunting for you or what?
40:36Not at all.
40:36Take responsibility then.
40:38Did you beat their mother?
40:40Yes.
40:41Did you sell drugs from the house?
40:43Yes.
40:44Did you put your family in danger by drug dealers coming into a house and young kids could have been
40:50attacked?
40:51Yeah?
40:51Yeah, I did.
40:52I can't make this right for you.
40:56This is it.
40:57He's so...
40:58Where are you?
40:59He's just spot on.
41:01I would be standing there next to Graham thinking, I've messed this up.
41:05I would aspire...
41:07You just...
41:09What do you want me to say?
41:11What do you want to do?
41:13Make things right.
41:14You can only make things right if you grasp the nettle and do something about it.
41:19I mean, with respect, I guess they wouldn't be here.
41:22The one thing that we haven't heard in the last 15 minutes...
41:25You'll say this, won't you?
41:26Has he apologised?
41:27Have you?
41:27I said sorry on the stage.
41:31I'm so sorry for what I've done.
41:33Sorry doesn't cut it.
41:34It's not good enough.
41:35Why has it taken you so long?
41:35How long has it been?
41:36You know where we've lived?
41:37We've lived there since mum left you.
41:40About two years after mum left you, we moved there and you know where we live.
41:44We haven't moved.
41:45You've been there.
41:45And actually, the day that you come there, because mum wouldn't let you stay for dinner and wouldn't give you
41:50a kiss, you tried to hit her, didn't you?
41:51Because mum was going to attack you!
41:53I did.
41:54Yes!
41:55Yes!
41:56Shall I tell you about this?
41:57Shall I tell you the tragedy?
41:58That was five years later.
41:59Shall I tell you the tragedy of this story?
42:01We've got one other person to bring out.
42:02So not only have you destroyed a family, and fair play to you lady, and I mean that because they've
42:07turned out grey,
42:08and he is absolutely everything a man should be.
42:11He's my rock.
42:12He's everything a man should be, by a million miles.
42:14Yep.
42:15Right?
42:16We have another guest on this show, somebody you haven't seen for eight years.
42:22Your dad?
42:23Yeah.
42:24Imagine being in your 70s and knowing that your son's on the streets drinking.
42:27Can we bring Joe in?
42:28Where is Joe?
42:29Which way is he?
42:30We could bring him in, that would be great.
42:33Why would you not see your dad for eight years?
42:35Because I've been drinking drugs.
42:37Because he moved away.
42:38Because he moved away?
42:39I didn't know his address until the other day.
42:42You didn't know your...
42:42I didn't know my dad's address.
42:45Ask him.
42:46Are you getting angry?
42:47Why don't you go and find it then?
42:48He's on Facebook.
42:49He's on Facebook.
42:49What from where?
42:51I don't know.
42:52I'm not so...
42:52I'm your dad.
42:55Oh no, Joe.
42:57I love you.
42:57Joe Lovely.
42:58Yeah.
42:59Joe Lovely.
43:00Okay.
43:05I don't know how you could forgive him after he's put you through.
43:08You've got to sort it out.
43:10I love you.
43:12I love you, Doug.
43:12I love you.
43:15That would appear to be that you're quick to forgive, but I mean, a lot of what we've
43:20heard so far has been well-placed anger from these girls and this family.
43:26I totally agree with him.
43:28He was a ****.
43:30And that's still it.
43:31Well, you've got to sort it, haven't you?
43:34There's the last one here.
43:35You've got to sort it, haven't you?
43:36You've got to sort it, haven't you?
43:37You've got to sort the rest.
43:39The drink.
43:40The smoke.
43:41The whole lot of it.
43:44Before they talk, you know.
43:46You know that.
43:48What was it like watching your son destroy his life?
43:51Well, it was crap.
43:52Waiting for the coppers to knock on your door.
43:55He was overdosed.
43:58You know, same for his mother.
44:00You know, she hated him.
44:02She's done so bloody much for him.
44:05And after a fee, you put her through.
44:07Just out of interest, I'm only asking, why have you not seen your grandchildren as much?
44:11Oh, I didn't really know where you lived, did I?
44:13No, we do talk on social networks.
44:15We do say hello to each other, and he sees the pictures.
44:18But we just all went our separate ways.
44:20What do we do here, Joe?
44:23Oh, I don't know.
44:24I'm lost.
44:25You know, I'm lost.
44:26And we're quite happy the way we was.
44:28You know what I mean?
44:28I don't always talk in so well.
44:30I don't think, I think you've got to, with respect, I don't know what your man thinks,
44:33but I don't think his dad can be blamed for what he did.
44:37Oh, no, no, no, no.
44:37I think he's the guy who's had to, he will be, even if you have a kid that goes right
44:41off the road,
44:42you're going to be loyal to that child, you're going to do whatever.
44:44But I think it's a shame that you don't have more contact.
44:46He strikes me as a nice enough guy.
44:48What are you going to do, then?
44:49Because, you know, some people watching this are going...
44:51When I saw my life out here, mate.
44:52Oh, right, right now, yeah?
44:55Right now.
44:56How are you going to do that?
44:57Graham, help me out here.
44:59Am I wrong?
44:59There's an acknowledgement.
45:00There's no acknowledgement.
45:01There are certainly no guarantees that these people here are going to have a relationship with you.
45:06There are no guarantees, though, whatsoever.
45:09But if you clean your act up, there may well be a possibility.
45:13Would they not, I mean, Bex, we haven't spoken.
45:16I think you're amazing, but, I mean...
45:19What do you think I need to do?
45:21Well, you tell me no.
45:23You say to me no.
45:24What are you...
45:25You keep saying, I will do whatever I have to do.
45:28What is that?
45:29To get off the drink.
45:31And...
45:32Okay.
45:34Bex, you're 17 years of age.
45:36Quite understandably, your mum and your sister, your surrogate mum don't want you hurt.
45:40They don't want you to see these things.
45:42You looked genuinely shocked when you saw him come out.
45:45What do you want to say to him?
45:46Let's...
45:46I'm just upset at what he's done to the family.
45:48It's upset in knowing what he's put mum through.
45:50And I didn't want to hear it, obviously, but I have to.
45:52I've grown up.
45:53And look, it's not morally what you've done to the family.
45:55It's what you've done to yourself.
45:56Look at you.
45:57You don't even...
45:57You look ill.
45:59You need to sort of...
46:00You're not going to get any better.
46:01To say you've been off heroin for two years is...
46:02You don't look like it.
46:03You look awful.
46:05Honestly, I'll give a drug test before I come on the show.
46:08No, you weren't on heroin.
46:09You're on cannabis and methadone and alcohol.
46:11Basically, what has happened is stop using heroin, but you are now alcohol dependent.
46:16Yeah.
46:17He wasn't.
46:17I've swapped one for the...
46:18He swapped one addiction for another addiction.
46:21Why aren't your kids an addiction?
46:24I want them to be...
46:25It felt like you were a stranger for most of 15 years of my life.
46:28It did.
46:28He wouldn't get out of bed before having two beers in the morning.
46:32And that was when I was little.
46:33That was heavy, strong beer.
46:34See?
46:35I don't understand, though.
46:37I mean, do you...
46:38Is the door open?
46:39I mean, it's shut for these two, and they have every right to say that.
46:42What do you want, Bex?
46:43Because this is what this was about.
46:44I certainly don't know, because everything he said he's going to do, he doesn't do.
46:48Like, he won't let you find out.
46:49I'll do it.
46:50I'll prove it.
46:51You just need to take...
46:52I mean, if you want something to do, you need to take things step at a time.
46:54Of course you do.
46:55And you need to set...
46:56You need to build your trust, Bex.
46:58But seriously, she's never going to make a decision until you are clean.
47:02Yeah.
47:03So the responsibility lies with you.
47:05There is no responsibility here whatsoever.
47:07All the responsibility is here.
47:09You have to get clean, they will make a decision.
47:12And the interesting thing is, how many people in your place...
47:14How many people in your place, totally straight here, will get clean in the hope that they'll
47:19want to know, and they still don't want to know, and then you go back downhill?
47:22I don't understand one thing.
47:24Why would you not want to be clean anyway?
47:26Do you want to look like this and live like this?
47:28No, I don't.
47:28That's why I've started making a change.
47:32I promise you one thing, if you listen to him, your life can be changed.
47:35You have plenty of reasons, not least of all that 17-year-old kid, to do something about your life.
47:41And you might, you know, later on, when you start thinking about it, you might think,
47:44I was really harsh.
47:45You should listen to him.
47:47He said the things about your family that I'd want you to say.
47:51Now, I'm told, by the way, that everybody can change by this great friend and man who works with me,
47:55right?
47:56I don't think that's altogether always true, but we have to give people the benefit of the doubt.
48:00This is it, pal.
48:02She, she, all of them.
48:04It's last chance saloon, isn't it?
48:06Even that's an alcohol thing, isn't it?
48:08Last chance saloon.
48:09This is it, right?
48:12Listen to him.
48:14I can't give you any more than that.
48:16I wish you luck.
48:18Brave lady.
48:20Brilliant.
48:20And your old man's the tops.
48:22Give him a round of applause, ladies and gentlemen.
48:24Nice to meet you, Dan.
48:27I am for this morning out of time.
48:29Good luck to them.
