Cow Smuggling Allegation Sparks Tension in Muzaffarnagar, Police Issue Clarification

In Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district, some Hindu organisations accused a man named Akbar of smuggling cows.

However, police clarified that Akbar had legally purchased the cow from another village and was taking it to his home. The Purkaji Police Station investigated the matter and found no evidence of cow smuggling or cow slaughter.

Officials said the cow is currently at Akbar’s house along with his other cattle. Further legal proceedings are underway.
