00:00Hello.
00:01Not much is changing this weekend.
00:03We hold on to a lot of cloud across England and Wales.
00:05With sunnier breaks coming into Scotland, we've really got a slow-moving weather pattern
00:10across the UK.
00:11So this band of cloud is associated with a cold front just flirting the Outer Hebrides.
00:18Otherwise, this ridge of high pressure actually extending across the UK, but we've got this
00:22weather front in the mix, and that's bringing a lot of cloud and some patchy outbreaks of
00:26rain and drizzle across England and Wales.
00:29So as we go through the rest of the afternoon, then we hold on to a lot of clouds, so
00:33a dull
00:34Saturday to come.
00:35There may be some brightness coming into western parts, but otherwise some showery outbreaks
00:40of rain also moving through, especially across the south.
00:43To the north, though, across northern England and into Scotland, that's where we're going
00:47to see more in the way of sunny spells today.
00:50To the west, this cold front just flirting the Outer Hebrides and a bit more of a breeze
00:54here, so it could give some patchy rain in places.
00:58Otherwise temperatures, while they are around average for the time of year, but it's still
01:01feeling chilly underneath all this cloud, and with a bit more of an onshore flow across
01:06East Anglia and Kent, it's going to be feeling cooler here compared to what we saw on Friday.
01:12So through Saturday evening there, and we hold on to this blanket of cloud, mist and fog,
01:18and showery outbreaks of rain pushing up into Devon and Cornwall, into southern parts
01:22of Wales, into the Midlands, and then eventually more so reaching northern England to start
01:27Sunday.
01:28Towards Scotland again, we'll hold on to the clearest skies across eastern areas, that's
01:32where temperatures will fall away tonight.
01:34We could see a touch of frost in places, perhaps even falling as low as minus 4 degrees, but
01:39in the cloud, temperatures holding up 5 or 6 degrees.
01:44So through Sunday, well, more cloud, more hill fog, more mist and murk.
01:49Outbreaks of showery rain pushing up from the south into Wales, and again more so into northern
01:55England.
01:56So a bit more damper here compared to Saturday.
01:59There could be some breaks in the sunshine across the southeast as we head into the afternoon
02:04though, and a slither of sunshine across southern parts of Scotland.
02:08This cold front still edging its way through, so there will be showery outbreaks of rain persisting
02:13across the inner and outer Hebrides.
02:16Temperatures, again, might just be slightly up compared to today, and in any sunny spells,
02:22that's where we could see 14, 15, possibly 16 degrees.
02:25So hopefully feeling pleasant where you do catch any sunshine, but for the vast majority,
02:29it is a cloudy picture.
02:32That cloudy theme continues as we go through Sunday evening and into Monday, so another murky
02:38star on the cards as we start Monday morning, otherwise, showery outbreaks of rain still
02:43persisting across western parts of Scotland.
02:46There will be some more rain in the forecast as we go more so Tuesday and into Wednesday,
02:51but for more details on that, if you are watching this on YouTube, make sure to hit subscribe
02:55so you don't miss a forecast, and I'll see you very soon, bye-bye.
