00:01Well, there's a lot of cloud in the forecast once again.
00:04There are going to be some hazy spells of sunshine though, especially across the southeast
00:08as we head through this afternoon.
00:10Otherwise it's been a chilly but bright start across eastern Scotland and the south with
00:14a touch of frost here to start the morning.
00:16Across England and Wales, a cloudy picture with showery outbreaks of rain and the cloud
00:21pushing its way northwards as well.
00:23So into northern England, that's where it could be a bit of a damper picture compared
00:27to Saturday.
00:28To the west, we still have this band of rain just lingering across the outer Hebrides
00:33and perhaps even into western parts of Northern Ireland.
00:36Otherwise to the south, into the southeast, there is a chance of the cloud breaking to
00:41give some hazy spells of sunshine as we head through the afternoon.
00:45And here temperatures could rise up to 14 or 15 degrees, otherwise elsewhere perhaps a degree
00:51higher than that of Saturday.
00:54As we go through Sunday evening though, the cloud will lower once again.
00:58We'll see murky conditions with mist and fog patches and showery outbreaks of rain.
01:04The cloud will continue to push its way northwards and then the showery outbreak of rain pushing
01:08into southern parts of Scotland.
01:10So most places actually staying above freezing as we start Monday morning.
01:15perhaps in any sheltered spots, just seeing a touch of frost there across northern parts of Scotland.
01:22So as we start the new working week, while it's grey, it's dull, it's gloomy, a lot of low cloud,
01:28mist and fog.
01:29A much cloudier picture now across southern parts of Scotland and into eastern Scotland as we go through Monday.
01:36Towards Northern Ireland there may be some breaks to give some sunny spells and eventually across the southeast there is
01:42a signal for the cloud to break to give some brightness here.
01:45Still holding on to a lot of low cloud especially across eastern coast but in the sunshine temperatures rising up
01:52to 16 or 17 degrees and generally for most places up compared to the weekend.
