00:00I think the Pittsburgh-New Orleans game being overseas, and Roger Goodell continuing to tell us that owners are talking
00:09about expanding more into overseas, and I just, I don't get it.
00:15I know players aren't exactly thrilled at it.
00:18If I'm, let's face it, Philadelphia, I had to go to London.
00:22I had to play there.
00:24Everyone gets hurt.
00:25I have to fly back and now play a game at home, which only went from bad to worse for
00:30them, losing to Carolina.
00:31You got Houston doing the same thing.
00:34At what point is enough with this?
00:38What do we got?
00:39Nine international games this year.
00:41When is enough of this?
00:44Well, I mean, look, I think more is coming.
00:46I don't think it's less, and it would appear that with the success that they have with Jacksonville playing over
00:52there
00:52and playing, I don't know, the last two weeks Jacksonville played over there,
00:58but I think only one of the games counted for a home game, or was it both games that counted
01:02for a home?
01:02I'm not sure.
01:03I think they were both away for them.
01:06Yeah, they were both away games.
01:08For Jacksonville?
01:09They weren't home.
01:10Usually they lose a home game.
01:12They were not road games.
01:13That's what I thought.
01:15Yep.
01:16Oh, so they were home.
01:18Okay, so they were home.
01:19Jaguars were home for both because they have the, yeah.
01:22Okay, so the point I'm trying to make is that some team will play London.
01:27Like, I think that's where we're headed.
01:28I think some team will play their home games there, and it'll be very tricky because then, of course,
01:33going to the West Coast eventually is like almost an impossibility with the amount of hours that it'll take
01:38to go from London to L.A.
01:42But travel-wise, if most of their road games are New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Miami, like, I mean, that's doable,
01:53man.
01:53Like, that's a doable schedule from London to those teams.
01:56I don't know how they would do anything west of the Mississippi, but I suppose Jacksonville has shown,
02:02with the amount of fans that they have built there, that that's probably, Joe, I would say what's coming next
02:08if they do decide to expand, and I think that they will because the franchise fees are just insane,
02:13the amount of money that teams will get there.
02:14So, look, I enjoy Sunday morning having that game on.
02:20I would tell you that, you know, I get up early anyway, so I'm like, okay, cool.
02:25There's a game on in the morning.
02:27You know, going to all these different countries to play games doesn't really affect me in one way or the
02:32other.
02:32I see the game, and it doesn't seem nothing changes.
02:34The fields, they've complained, but they've seemed okay in the end.
02:38So, whether it's Germany or France or London or Brazil or wherever they're choosing to play,
02:44it really doesn't affect me at all.
02:45And so, I think you'll get an expansion team, and it will be somewhere away from the United States.
02:52I think that's what's coming next.
02:56I'd be pretty bent if I had been a long-time season ticket holder and supporting a team
03:03and then finding out that, you know, two of my tickets don't matter unless I want to fly halfway around
03:09the world
03:10to see the team play.
03:11I just, I don't, I don't get it.
03:13And the scheduling, you want to add more games, which makes the scheduling that much harder
03:19to try and give these guys enough time between Thursday nights.
03:23What do we got?
03:24Wednesday night games now coming up here.
03:26I think it's bad enough, right?
03:28Thursday, Thanksgiving, but now they want Wednesday as well as Monday.
03:34It's just getting a little bit out of control here.
03:38And I don't think the product's as good.
03:40I honestly don't think it's as good in these overseas games.
03:44But we're going to see a game in Paris for the first time, I guess, right?
03:49So, Spain, I think.
03:50Germany is still to come.
03:53All right.
03:53Let's see how it goes.
03:55I don't have any faith in Pittsburgh and New Orleans delivering one for the ages here on Sunday morning there,
04:03Craig.
04:03I worry about both these teams.
04:06I don't like either of these teams, but one of them is four and two.
04:09The other is two and four.
04:12I mean, the Saints would have had a much better advantage in Louisiana.
04:16Would they not have?
04:18Yeah, probably.
04:20And by the way, this past Sunday, that game between Houston and Jacksonville was an incredible game.
04:24I mean, that was one of the best London games that there's been.
04:27And then the week before, Philadelphia played Jacksonville, and that game came right down to the last play of the
04:31game.
04:32So, the games have actually been much better than they have in the past.
04:36This one, I don't know how we get there with these two teams, but you never know.
04:40Let's see.
04:41Let's see if this ends up being a good one.
04:43And then, you know, the week before that, I think, was when Washington had Mariota and he got hurt.
04:47That was a horrendous game.
04:49But, yeah, like, I think for me, I'll probably take the Saints in this one just because Pittsburgh doesn't seem
04:55to have any consistency this season.
04:56It's a win-lose, win-lose, win-lose kind of season for them.
04:59And the second you think that they're good, they're bad.
05:00And the second you want to write them off, they win, like they did last week in Tampa.
05:04And getting points for New Orleans, yeah, look, obviously, they love to be in that dome.
05:11But the dome didn't really do them any good in the biggest emotional game of the season.
05:14They got killed by Atlanta in that game on Monday night.
05:18So, yeah, I'll probably lean a little Saints here in following the bouncing ball that is the Pittsburgh Steelers.
05:25They can't win two in a row.
05:26They can't lose two in a row.
