CCTV Exposes ‘Garbage Plot’ in Moradabad: Rival Shopkeeper Accused of Framing Juice Seller Under Swachh Bharat

In a shocking case from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, a juice and cold drink seller has alleged that a neighbouring shopkeeper conspired to frame him by getting garbage scattered outside his shop in an attempt to damage his business.

Talha, who runs a juice, cold drink and coffee shop in Budh Bazaar area of Moradabad, is known for attracting a steady crowd of customers. According to local sources, his growing popularity allegedly led to jealousy from a neighbouring shopkeeper.

As per the allegations, the neighbouring shopkeeper bribed sanitation workers and had them scatter garbage from a dustbin in front of Talha’s shop. Subsequently, a complaint was reportedly lodged with the municipal corporation under the Swachh Bharat Mission, accusing Talha of spreading filth.

Acting on the complaint, municipal corporation officials issued a notice and allegedly pressured Talha to vacate his shop. Refusing to comply, Talha approached the police.

When police examined the CCTV footage from the area, the alleged conspiracy came to light. The footage reportedly showed sanitation workers deliberately scattering garbage from the dustbin onto the road in front of Talha’s shop.

The incident has triggered outrage in Budh Bazaar, with questions being raised over the role of certain municipal officials.

Moradabad Police confirmed that the matter was examined after CCTV evidence surfaced. Moradabad Municipal Corporation has also come under scrutiny following the allegations.

According to local sources, the SP City, Moradabad, assured Talha that he would not be harassed without reason and that appropriate action would be taken based on evidence.

Further investigation is underway.
