00:13Shop owner Jitendra alleged that several women entered the store on Monday and stole sarees before leaving the area.
00:19The entire incident was reportedly captured on CCTV cameras installed near the shop.
00:24After receiving the complaint, police formed a special team and launched an investigation.
00:28Within 24 hours, officers arrested four accused women near Double Canal New Colony in the Kothwali area.
00:36Police identified the accused as Rama Devi, Munni Devi, Savitri Devi and Urmila Devi, all residents of Pathua village in
00:44Hathras district.
00:45Officials said 12 stolen sarees were also recovered from their possession.
00:49Police have registered a case under relevant sections and produced the accused before the court.
00:53Authorities said strict checking and patrolling drives are being carried out in the district to control theft-related incidents.
