Hathras: Spit-on-Roti Allegations at Nizam Hotel Spark Outrage, Accused Arrested

In Hathras, serious allegations have surfaced regarding food hygiene at Nizam Hotel located in the Madhugarhi area under Sadar Kotwali limits.

A video circulating on social media allegedly shows a hotel worker spitting on tandoor rotis before baking them. The clip quickly went viral, triggering public outrage and raising concerns over customer health and food safety standards.

This is reportedly the second such controversy in the area within a short span. A few days earlier, a similar video from Badshah Hotel in Madhugarhi had drawn attention.

Following the latest viral video, Hathras Police took cognisance of the matter. Officials confirmed that a case has been registered at Kotwali Nagar police station under relevant sections. One accused has been arrested, and legal proceedings are underway as per law.

Residents have demanded a thorough investigation and strict action to prevent recurrence of such incidents. Authorities have assured that appropriate steps will be taken after due inquiry.
