Pastoral cattle bulk up numbers at 'two-paced' Strathalbyn store sale

00:00Just shy of 1,100 a day and generally speaking job was pleasing but I'd say

00:04pretty well firm on the last sale and probably a couple of flat spots along

00:08the way but we did have a number of large partial consignments today being

00:13Orange Creek, Todd Morden and Partacuna which is probably a bigger

00:19representation of those northern cattle than we normally have. I think the other

00:23thing a bit of flatness a lot of those lighter cattle are going to be long term

00:27and I think people are looking at the skies and wondering if maybe spring might need to be already done

00:31and they're not quite prepared to go out that far so that's probably just put a

00:35little bit of peasancy back into the job on that front.
